We visited the Monticchio Lakes. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't the best, but we stopped at this trattoria for lunch. Everything was excellent: delicious food, and the appetizers were generous. There was live music, which brightened up the gloomy day. The owner was very friendly and helpful.

Very ,very, very great Trattoria! Delightful ! I enjoyed not only the delicious food and home made wine. I enjoyed the atmosphere! The owner plays very good guitar and piano ! I don’t know what more to praise- the music 🎼 the wine🍷 or the food 🥘 But all together are perfect combination!!! Gusto! Gusto! Gusto!

Locale ampio e spazioso, accoglienza familiare. Fulvio sempre attento alla sala, alla cucina ed al divertimento. Infatti è anche bravissimo a cantare e suonare, ed il pranzo, soprattutto se si va in compagnia di amici o per festeggiare una ricorrenza, si trasforma in una giornata speciale. Interpreta particolarmente bene il "Liga", e fa tutto con passione. Buono il vino. Ottima la torta della nonna. Dobbiamo tornarci presto.

Positive experience on a hot summer day A great location for those looking to relax on the weekend. There's ample parking for cars, motorcycles, and caravans. A quiet village nestled in the heart of the Vulture mountains, offering absolute tranquility. A wonderful outdoor pool with umbrellas and deckchairs is also available. We had dinner with a classic appetizer: prosciutto crudo in oil, eggplant, excellent zucchini, mushrooms, mozzarella, and ricotta. The portions were not very generous, and were divided into separate dishes. The omelette was very good. For pizza, we tried three varieties: the excellent classic bread pizza, the four-season pizza, and the special pizza with asparagus and a whole egg. Second courses: seafood and land. It could have been better, but it could have been improved! Food was decent (might be good for someone that’s not local). I think you can find better trattorie or restaurants if you go towards the towns (like calitri or aquilonia). Service was quite slow today

Abbiamo prenotato in una bella giornata di ottobre da Fulvio. La location è molto modesta (un salone unico enorme con arredamento anni '80!), il cibo così così: antipasti buoni ma scontatissimi, i primi modesti (il risotto di funghi: immangiabile), molto buono l'arrosto tirato con l'aglianico. Il personale invece è ottimo, cortese, disponibile come anche Fulvio, un grande intrattenitore. Non credo che ritornerò.

Siamo stati per la prima volta in questo locale, i piatti erano tutti freddi dal primo al secondo, solo il melone era caldo. Abbiamo aspettato che il titolare finisse di cantare x farci il conto. Recensione negativa.

Siamo stati a pranzo oggi con la mia famiglia ed é stata una delle peggiori esperienze della mia vita. Accolti in un locale scarsamente climatizzato, ci é arrivato un antipasto "senza infamia e senza lode' di salumi (a parte il prosciutto di buona qualità, dubito sulla freschezza del resto) e mezzo bocconcino di mozzarella a testa (Non esagero era davvero mezzo), micropezzetti di frittata, gateau di patate, ricotta e verdure grigliate. Due primi: un quadratino di lasagna non si sa di quale giorno palesemente riscaldata più volte e ravioli di ricotta al pomodoro (l'unica cosa da 'ristorante' mangiata oggi). La grigliata di carne era pietosa: un pezzettino di Agnello, una fettina di vitello e mezza salsiccia (anche stavolta non esagero, visto che era una metá di una salsiccia aperta) e 6 foglie di insalata. Sulla frutta dico solo che sarei curioso di sapere quante volte é entrata e uscita dal frigo. Poi le due cose peggiori (una giornata diciamo 'storta' per il cibo può anche capitare): siamo entrati alle 13.45 e siamo usciti alle 18.30 in una sala non completamente piena e con un menu fisso e poi il volume della musica per 2/3 del pranzo praticamente in stile discoteca. Tutto questo per 25€ a persona p.s. se sapete di avere gente mettete l'acqua in quantità in frigo sennò viene calda al tavolo; unico apprezzamento per lo spirito del proprietario nell'intrattenere la gente ma prima di pensare a quello dovrebbe curare il ristorante altrimenti conviene che si apre una balera

I'm sorry you're responding to my review with lies, but I'm not surprised, given that's what you did when you "improvised" some numbers to make the bill 57 euros. What you described as "2 generous appetizers" was actually a simple plate of grilled vegetables. And the 8-euro bread isn't my invention. If you'd like, I can publish the non-fiscal slip you wrote it on, but out of discretion, I'd refrain from doing so. And above all, if you offer customers a 20-euro tourist menu with 2 first courses, an appetizer, a second course, etc., without allowing them to see the menu, you can't charge them 30 euros for 1 first course and 1 side dish. PRICES MUST BE DISPLAYED. A RECEIPT MUST BE PRODUCED. Customers, even if they're passing tourists, shouldn't be fooled. It would have been nice to respond with an apology, perhaps. More honest, if nothing else. We were SCAMMED. 2 first courses and 1 side dish with water and 2 coffees €57. No receipt, unless requested. When I asked for details, I was quoted unreasonable prices, a total of €43. But who knows why we paid €57. €8 for a small plate of bread to accompany the side dish. To think that they had offered us a tourist menu for €20 per person. An hour's wait for two plates of pasta. And I don't want to go into further details. Terrible.
