After a game of mini golf, friends and I grabbed ramen in the evening. We had to wait for a little while on a Saturday evening to be seated. Service was still kind, immediate once we followed up after waiting perhaps a bit longer than needed. The ambiance inside was well lit, and there were plenty of slurping of noodles. The combination of meals offered are blessed. There is a window to view how the meals are prepared. You may see a flame erupt every now and then. I got a spicy veggie ramen. I really appreciate the variety of veggies used, and the soup was not heavy! It all paired well. God bless you all.
Regular bowl curry with karaage chicken was delicious, but I do wish it was hot (warmer than what I got). The staff was very friendly. My son had the Blaze, a very spicy ramen. My son loves spicy hot ramen, and he was sweatin'.
My family and I eat here all the time. The ramen flavor from this shop is definitely unmatched compared to any other place we’ve tried. Everything on the menu is freshly prepared and delicious. Service is always great accompanied with a smile and excellent customer service. Atmosphere is clean and welcoming with limited seating. It’s always more convenient for us to order pick-up rather than having to scout for seating. Overall, great place to eat and we shall be returning customers for life. Thank you!
This was actually my first time in a Ramen restaurant. The food was AMAZING! The waitstaff made ordering very easy. Very helpful and suggestive. DEFINITELY a type of restaurant added to my frequent-to-visit list.
There was no wait time on a Saturday late evening, luckily, so I was seated quickly. Ordered the Shoyu On Fire with Crispy Chicken Kaarage & Grilled Gyoza The appetizers were plated first, then not long after the ramen came after there were not much waiting around. The flavors for my spicy ramen were delicious. The broth is very flavorful with its ingredients. I suggest ordering two eggs. One egg isn't enough for satisfaction. Must try everything I said except for gyozas. Those are just ordered for my partner who doesn't care to order something new, lol, but it's still good. I'm just saying if you want to try something new. The second time going I ordered Tsukemen ramen & Shoyu fire I realized they only give you half an egg with your order and will give you a full egg. When you order an extra egg why not give a complete egg ? is there no profit in giving a complete egg ? Anyways the Tsukemen ramen was a little too salty for me after drinking the soup broth a couple times & it does get cold a lot faster than the ramen that's all in its bowl because the tsukemen ramen is separate with noodles and soup broth aren't in the same bowl as the other ramen bowls. Also I don't recommend the tuna rice appetizers the fried rice is very hard the texture is not pleasant at all not worth getting.
The shoyu on fire is the best. Have tried the chicken version at different levels of spiciness and it’s always so delicious. The veggie ramen is good but the flavors are very subtle and would probably be better had I added some spice. Overall some of the best ramen I’ve had in the area.
I love silverlake ramen, so was really happy about their new venue in riverside area. I ordered the blaze shoyu, it was very good, I like the noodles l, thin noodles are the best. I also like that they have combos for apps and ramen for $20. The gyoza was so plump and juicy, we had to order another one on top of the ones that came with out combos.
OMG This is the best Ramen I've ever had in US so far. That's what was in my head when I ate their shoyu ramen for the first time. I'm from Japan so I couldn't help not comparing Ramen in Japan and US. But their Ramen was more than I expected. I'm crazy about their Ramen. The prices are from $16 but it worth. Because it comes with full topping . I RECOMMEND SHOYU RAMEN. (Shoyu means soy sauce) Look at their menu. Not only Ramen, they have such a huge variety of Asian food. (Some are what I've had in Taiwan) I strongly recommend here to you.
Newly opened Riverside location for Silverlake Ramen. Finally a ramen franchise that's known in LA and OC closer to home. I ordered the Shoyu combo with Chicken Karaage appetizer and it was good portions and the food came out quickly and cooked well. Staff was friendly and the place was clean with a nice atmosphere. My server Dana was very kind and attentive.
I'd like to start off by saying, WOW! I've been waiting for a Silverlake Ramen to open up in Riverside! I was driving back from work and wanted to stop for some good food before I went home and I saw that this restaurant opened up at the Galleria Mall!! I had the Blaze Ramen... 10/10 would recommend. If you can tolerate spice, I would definitely go with medium or hot level... I'd also like to say that the service here was A1. The staff is super friendly and kind! Anyways, I will definitely be coming back here with family and friends!

I went to school in Japan and worked there for a while but I think this is the best ramen I ever had. I was shocked by how good it was. We will be coming back for sure! The broth of the ramen especially was absolutely amazing. The karage is also some of the best I've had outside of Japan. Excellent.

The ramen was pretty good. The broth was creamy and delicious. But the service was not good tho. We stood at the entrance for about 5 mins before someone finally acknowledged us and led us to our seats. There was no chopsticks nor napkins when we got our appetizers. I had to go to other table to fetch some chopsticks. When we finished our meals and wanted to leave , there was no one in sight that would let me pay our check. We had to flag someone down to pay.

These guys must think their food is so good that you'll come back despite bad service. They brought out my rice bowl at the same time as one of the appetizers. The other appetizer came out with the 2 ramen bowls after I was finished. Like no joke, I was ready for the check and to leave before other people got their food, before we got all the appetizers. Or was I supposed to sit and wait 20 minutes letting my food get cold? This whole wait time, they would not even acknowledge our presence. They dropped a bowl at the next table and ran away without noticing us despite our "excuse me"s Still, nearly all 8 tables were in use. The prices are good, especially for the location. There's no soda refills, only $3 cans Beer and sake or lemonade as alternatives. Food was fine.
I got the blaze ramen spicy and waited almost 30 mins for my food to come out while dining alone, the ramen itself was bland and was not spicy at all and the noodles tasted almost instant and had way too much toppings as if they literally got a large spoon and dumped it on top and only one cut of pork and charge for morewhile other places give at least 2. The ramen itself was 16.50 i believe, dont quote me on it though. During my entire meal I did not get checked up on nor a refill on my water and had waited 10 mins after I finished eating to pay and when I asked for a receipt she never came back with it and went to talk to her coworkers. As a server myself, I would never return..food was mid however I only paid $18 and some change so its not like I lost a bunch of money on this place.
BEWARE ORDERING ONLINE. I hate having to write this review because I've had largely good experiences in-person, but I'm trying to order online for pickup and both the Silverlake website and DoorDash have automatically tried to charge me double for sides. I managed to get the edamame down to what's actually listed on the menu after several deletes and re-adds, but $18 for six pieces of karaage, lol? It says +$9.35 on the menu. I'm going to assume this isn't intentional rather than blatantly trying to double online prices from in-person, but it needs to be addressed quickly.
Good and tasty food but have small serving compare to other branches of Silverlake. The brocollini was not we expected it’s too big, it became brocolli, not brocollini.

Idk why I came here twice. Probably because there are few places that serve chicken broth ramen. I liked the broth but its not ramen per say. And the noodles were pretty bad. Like chewy mush. I put them aside. I also ordeewd the shrimp tempura sushi and it was ok. Overall a pretty disappointing experience.

I am not a fan of the ramen here. The broth was good but the noodles and the toppings just tasted bland. You also only get half an egg whereas other places give you one full egg. I really wanted to like this place but the food was just not that good. Service and atmosphere were just fine nothing to write home about.
Honest thoughts after dining here with my family. We came because of the high reviews and the nice-looking interior from the photos. But if you’re looking for authentic Japanese food, this probably isn’t the spot. We’ve been to Japan multiple times, so our standards might be different. The ramen tasted like good-quality instant noodles~not bad, but definitely not restaurant-level broth or noodles. The sushi rice was loose and a bit hard, not the sticky texture you’d expect. We also found a tiny strand of hair on the spicy tuna roll, which was disappointing. Service was friendly and the ambience was pleasant, but overall, we paid around $100 for a pretty average experience.

I was really looking forward to this spot while it was still under construction. When it finally opened, I tried the ramen—it was decent, nothing special. Gave it another shot in the winter, and again, just okay. Today was my third visit, and I went with the karaage chicken curry bowl. Unfortunately, the curry was bland, and the chicken was greasy and lacked crispiness. I couldn’t even finish it—the flavor just didn’t sit right. I also tried the spicy tuna roll, which was disappointingly tiny with barely any fish. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place. But if you’re curious, the ramen is probably your safest bet.
The food is great, but the service is HORRIBLE! The servers are not attentive and do not proactively correct mistakes on orders until the bill comes, then have to ask them to remove items they never brought to the table!

DO NOT ORDER FROM UBER EATS. THIS PLACE IS A SCAM! They put items as promos or what’s available on the app. Two drivers said they don’t have the item I ordered BUT IM STILL GOING TO BE CHARGED. I contacted uber eats support and the restaurant. Support said no you won’t get your money back and I called the restaurant and they said contact support and that im not getting my money back How do I get charged for something I didn’t get? It’s literally on their menu and they’re both refusing to do anything about it especially after taking my money. Insane and scummy. It’s literally a lawsuit waiting to happen
