Tiny little gem in downtown Riverside. It was a little busy, so the service took a minute, but they gave us chips and salsa on the house and apologized for the wait. Once our order was in table service was promt and attentive. Spiked aguas frescas flight is a must.. so good!

The flavor is definitely here, the basics are good (rice &beans). I ordered the sopes and the meat alone is so good and tender. No tough spots on the meat. My daughter got the birria taco and consome and she loved it. My husband got the enchiladas de Cameron and he said the sauce is good. We seem to have found a new place to have dinner. The staff is very attentive as well. We will definitely be coming back. Give it a try, it's worth it!

Went with some friends. We were seated immediately, the establishment was clean. The Margarita flight was great and the paloma was strong, but awesome. I had the sopes, excellent and my friend had the shrimp enchiladas suiza. That sauce was devine.

First time going here; right off the bat as soon as we walked in- we were greeted by everyone inside; especially as we were walked to our table. We noticed everyone working had a smile on their face; the place is small but full of character, and has a great atmosphere. We were seated, and ordered our drinks right away- husband, and kiddo decided to opt for water, I ordered a Paloma flight (which was my first time ordering a flight- and I must say it was delicious). We were given additional time to ordered our meals- husband order the Trio plate that came with 1 Enchilada; 1 Sope; and 1 taco de papa. He added a side of consome. He said that everything was delicious- presentation was great! For our son we had some rice, and beans - he loved it. I ordered the Mole Chilaquiles, and they were Amazing. We had a wonderful first time experience, the place is very inviting; and will definitely be going back! I want to try the chilaquiles divorciados, and the margarita flight next.

my gf and I were wanting to try something different and we happened to drive past Yolis .We stopped to give it a try and thank God we did! this place was delicious. I love mole but a good mole is hard to find. Yolis mole was fantastic with a perfect texture and a spot on balance of sweet and spicy. my gf is a self proclaimed menudo afficineado and she proclaimed , after her first bite " this is the best menudo in Riverside" and now is in 2nd place on her all time list. The service was great, friendly and attentive. You get to choose the type of beans and rice and the tortillas are hand made..in front of you! The prices were very reasonable . highly recommended!! 2/27- came back and tried the posole. it was delicious as well!!! I love this place.

The interior decoration was very traditional and welcoming. We will definitely come back. Everything we tried was good and definitely recommend; mole chilaquiles, mole poblano plate, and the chorizo fondue .

I thought it tasted like candy. I'd like to know what kind of mole this is specifically. Really deep flavor. - Quesadilla You can choose a meat/protein to go inside of your quesadilla. They even offered to make this with corn tortillas. Really accommodating restaurant for people with different tastes. - Cochinita Pibil So so soft and falling apart as soon as you touch it with your fork.

I had the mole chilaquiles and they were so good they are a bit on the sweet side but really good . The wet burritos are very good super big and filled with food. Chips and salsa are my favorite, so I had to get them salsa was okay ,the chips are to hard for me , but the service was excellent thanks, to the wonderful team on that day . I do recommend.

I had mentioned, it was good, spicy and great flavor. The corn tortillas were hecho de mano, fantastic. The down fall is the bowl cost roughly $20 and was small which took away from the experience. Good food just don't get your money's worth. My friend ordered a torta and he said it was laking in size and taste. Not sure if I will return

Environment was great and service was great. My friend and I had a michelada but honestly tasted like they split 1 beer between both of us. This place is known for their mole based on videos I've seen on social media and i love mole but it wasn't to my liking. Its definitely more on the sweet side which isn't a negative thing, everyone has their preference and Rice and beans were basic.

Had the margarita flight , I was not very pleased. The alcohol was there but the flavor lacked. I had bar seating watched my drinks be made so it’s not not he skimmed me on the alcohol but maybe the syrup used just was watered down not sure , atmosphere was okay , bathroom was decent not squeaky clean but it was the end of night. It was only one bar tender and he was working hard I give him that. The waiter was very friendly which made for a pleasant experience but I had come for the drinks and was a bit disappointed. At first I was going to get a tower but I saw like 3-4 more than half way full sitting at empty tables so of course I was discouraged and not wanting to waste $50

I normally don’t right a review but man I was treated by this heavy set waiter very rude. Also he charge me over 20 dollars for bean cheese burrito and taco. The place is okay but man did I get him on a bad day. Would not recommend this place. I hope owner reads reviews so he can make changes. Last time I’m there and for sure will let 10 more people know.

Restaurant was a bit too dark. When taking our order, the person taking our order seemed to be in a rush and seemed exasperated when I was ordering and I was looking for an item I wanted to order on the menu that I saw and couldn’t find it right away. Again restaurant was dark and my vision isn’t great so I needed a couple of seconds at least. They skipped me and went to my husband without allowing me to find the item on the menu. I had never had this happen any where before and I was taken aback. Food was delivered with no additional salsa or condiments offered. Someone checked on us but the person who took our order just disappeared so not sure who our server was at the end of the meal. Food overall was okay. The tortillas were fresh but the order came out so fast not sure if it is made to order. For the price, food and service, we will not be coming again.

Turns out it was scooped straight from a buffet-style serving table in the back, not even from a kitchen order. The chicken was dry, greasy, and flavorless, like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. The sides were no better—overcooked rice and watery beans that looked days old. For that kind of price, I expected something cooked to order, not reheated leftovers. Presentation was terrible too. It was all piled into a to-go box with no care or effort, looking more like cafeteria scraps than a restaurant meal. For $25, this should’ve been a hearty, flavorful, freshly grilled plate—not something that belongs in the trash. I tried giving this place the benefit of the doubt, but between the poor quality, inflated price, and zero pride in food preparation, I won’t be returning. There are plenty of other spots that serve authentic Pollo Asado for half the price and double the quality.

When this place opened it was great. But the quality of food has gone down, I had a carne asada burrito and meat tasted boiled, rubbery and no flavor- not the way it used to. Service is also very slow, its unfortunate to see a place we use to love go down in quality. We were disappointed.
