Siamo stati in questo locale ieri sera e siamo rimasti davvero soddisfatti. Si mangia molto bene, soprattutto il pesce: abbiamo assaggiato un'orata pescata a Monterosso, freschissima e cucinata alla perfezione. L’atmosfera è accogliente, ma ciò che ha reso la serata speciale è stato il cameriere Jesse, che con la sua simpatia e disponibilità ci ha accompagnati durante tutta la cena, facendoci sentire davvero a nostro agio.

Esperienza fantastica! Siamo andati in sette e abbiamo mangiato davvero da Dio. Tutto freschissimo e abbondante. Il top? Ti vengono a prendere con il loro pulmino gratuito, visto che sono fuori dal centro. Super consigliato!

Sono stata con mio marito e mio figlio questa sera, posto panoramico, ottimi antipasti. Abbiamo preso come seco di fritti e grigliate di pesce...tutto molto buono. Come dolci sorbetti al ma darino e tiramisù co.e non te lo aspetti...bhe tutto davvero ottimo. Consigliato

We had an unforgettable dining experience at Ristorante Il Ciliegio 5Terre! The restaurant is located on a hilltop, offering beautiful scenery and a perfect spot to enjoy the sunset if you’re lucky. The food was outstanding — we had the mixed grilled seafood and meat, squid ink gnocchi, and seafood pasta. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The service was excellent too. Our waiter (Sky) was engaging and attentive, making us feel very welcome. The owner went above and beyond by personally driving us to and from the island center, which made the whole experience even more special. Between the stunning views, warm hospitality, and top-quality dishes, this restaurant is a true gem in Cinque Terre. Highly recommended!

Highly recommended if you are in Cinque Terre Monterosso. Definitely the best meal I’ve had in the area and probably the best that I have had on my trip to Italy. Many of the restaurants in old town were decent, but did not compare in quality and taste to Ristorante II Ciliego 5 Terre. The seafood pasta was amazing. All ingredients are local and the pasta is made in house. Get the cheesecake for dessert. The service from our waiter, Sky, was also awesome. Also- plenty of parking. Don’t skip this restaurant!!

We were picked up in town, by none other than the owner. Taken to the heights of the tops of the mountains. First we were greeted to a stunning sunset view of Monterroso, only to be blown away by the smell of wood fire and meat. Amazing service, cocktails and wine. Then we had the grilled seafood platter, the ribs, and the tomahawk steak. All were amazing! Whisked home by Jonathan the owner after he took some last minute photos of us. This is an experience you will never forget!

We did the Pesto class. Very informative and easy to learn. We had enough food to eat plus they gave us water, soda and wine. The view is beautiful.

The food was delicious, and the view at sunset was breathtaking. Sky, our waiter, was fabulous — super friendly, attentive, and gave us a great local wine recommendation. Definitely a must-visit!

If you are staying in the hustle and bussle of the Cinque terre and looking for a peaceful dinner—spend a few hours here. The views are stunning, the food is fantastic and the service was amazing. Jonathan picked us up in Monterosso and drove us up the mountain and the whole staff treated us like family. All the while, feeling a million miles away from the crowds of the beach. This was the best restaurant we went to when we stayed in Monterosso. It started off with amazing views that lead into an awesome experience from meeting the owner & chef. The food was OUTSTANDING. I had the florentine steak & my wife had the Pesto pasta. Both were incredible and then we finished the night off with the chocolate soufflé. We called a taxi to go up but they took us back down, excellent service and highly recommend!

The food, wine, and ambiance were fantastic! Food was exquisite. Jesse (I hope I spelled that right) gave us a ride back in their shuttle since the taxi stopped running. Wouldn't even take a tip for the extra service. Definitely recommend. A little out of the way, but so worth it!!

My husband and I enjoyed a perfect night here! The view is incredible, the service was superb and the food was amazing while being so reasonably priced as well! The owner was very friendly and dropped us back to our hotel after dinner. Could not be happier with our dinner at Il Ciliegio

Stunning view and fantastic food! We were nervous after seeing some reviews about service, but we showed up at 7PM and got seated right away with great service. Since we were rather early for Italian dinner, we had the whole place to ourselves. They were so nice to let us try some wines since we were unsure of what we wanted! We had the tuna, the ribs, the grilled veggies, and the gnocchi. The tuna and the ribs were amazing. We loved the grilled veggies as well. The gnocchi was good, but not our personal favorite. For dessert we got the lemon sorbet and a cheesecake which were both delicious. Definitely would recommend. It was a stunning view and if you get there early you can get a great seat of the sunset!

Hey guys. I'm traveling abroad. Scenic views from Monterosso, IT. And it's lunch time. Medium rare Steak with a pink pepper sauce, salad and grilled veggies for me. Grilled Tuna with lite Wasabi mayo and salad for my wife. Paired with red house wine. Need I say more.

Casual dining with just great food. Pick up and drop back service from Monterosso ( and other places). Had antipasta, mussel Zappa and second dishes and then deserts with some wines and coffee. 93 euro plus tip for good food and service. Way up there for food quality, service and view

Ristorante molto romantico con terrazza che offre una vista bellissima sul mare, abbiamo ordinato trofie al pesto (molto buone) e una grigliata (per il prezzo, ossia 29€, forse la quantità era poca considerando che sarebbe stata per una persona). Prezzi non proprio bassi, ma va considerata la location che è da 10 e si mangia bene

Io e mio marito abbiamo cenato in questo ristorante qualche sera fa.ovviamente,il locale ha il vantaggio di offrire una vista incantevole,che permette di godere della bellezza di Monterosso dall’alto.Devo dire che la location valorizza ancora di più questo panorama,perché elegante,ma anche rustica grazie ad un angolo dedicato agli amanti del barbecue.A dispetto di alcune recensioni,non siamo rimasti negativamente sorpresi dai prezzi, che a nostro parere sono totalmente giustificati dalla qualità dei piatti serviti. Abbiamo iniziato con una tartare di fassona con sopra un tuorlo d’uovo panato e fritto.GUSTO DIVINO!!! Unica pecca,il tuorlo d’uovo ci è stato portato già rotto. Spaghetti allo scoglio,con tanto di astice,STREPITOSI!! Abbiamo proseguito con il fritto misto,molto buono,ma non a livello delle altre portate,soprattutto il tonno scottato in crosta di sesamo e papavero,che riteniamo sia uno dei migliori mai mangiati. Il tutto accompagnato da un ottimo Negramaro rosato. Personale cordiale e professionale,segnaliamo però la lunga attesa tra una portata e l’altra. Rimane comunque consigliatissimo!!

Posto molto suggestivo, una terrazza con vista mare. Personale simpatico, gentile. I piatti buoni e ben serviti. Prezzi giusti a parte il costo del vino sfuso (scelto perché eravamo in moto) e il caffè.

Location sulle colline di monterosso con vista spettacolare e buona cucina di mare e di terra. Ottimi prodotti del territorio e pesce fresco. Cantina discreta e ottimi dolci Personale gentile pero' ancora poco esperto e prezzi in linea con la qualita' offerta. Sicuramente ritornero'....

Location sublime. Posto tranquillo . Pranzo di ottimaqualità con utilizzo di prodotti locali. Prezzi forse un po alti ma in linea con le 5 terre. Consigliato a pranzo per la vista...e a cena per il tramonto.

The view is absolutely Astonishing!!! Can’t be compared to any other restaurant in the 50km surroundings. The waiter and the dinner was very good, but for that money it should be a little bit better. 4/5 food, 5/5 Ambiente. 3/5 price. But absolutely worth having a fantastic (romantic) dinner there!!! I would come again.

The view from the restaurant is wonderful. The pasta was really delicious, but portions were small. on the other hand, i don’t recommend tiramisu because it was interestingly a bit salty 🙄

We stayed in Levanto and decided to drive to this beautiful place. It is placed on top of the mountain with a magnificient view of the sea and hills. Good parking options. We decided to go for the tomahawk steak, and were not dissapointed. Steak was really tender and juicy. We paid for 1,6 kilos so the price was pretty high (60€ Per kilo). Also got some good antipasti for starters. Service was good and friendly and the waiter spoke good English. You should go visit the restaurant - mainly due to the location.

The restaurant has so much potential, with a great location and view. However, they are completely missing the mark. The waitstaff was not knowledgeable about the menu or the wine. The food is bland, unimaginative and poorly presented. It does not appear that they are utilizing the wonderful local foods surrounding them. It was a huge disappointment and I would not recommend.
