Realy nice end clean room, peaceful place👌
Beautiful views, delicious pasta and lamb. Family friendly and dogs allowed. Great for large groups too
My review is for the restaurant. The place is really beautiful and with lots of indoors and outdoors space. Wonderful for an aperitif or a glass of wine in the open air. I expected more in terms of food. Everything was fine but nothing was remarkable. We had cold cuts, bruschette, potato skins, veal and sausages. I did not feel it was grilled but probably oven baked. Then a cheesecake and frozen fruits with ice cream. And a beautiful bottle of Montepulciano wine. Very professional and friendly service. No tablecloths. Price, around 50 euro per person. Worth it. I would / will come back. If the management reads this review: one of the donkeys has a big wound in a leg. It does not look as if it was being treated by a veterinarian. Please check it as it looked very bad.
Very well organized, well kept and extremely good welcoming and support. Definitely recommended as wedding location for something less classic and serious than usual venues. The rooms for guests are incredible!
Nice and huge farmhouse to visit! Very recommended.
Absolutely loved this hotel! Highly recommend! Beautiful, clean and historic, everything is recently renovated and has great style. We absolutely loved the farm fresh breakfast - makes me hungry just thinking about it now. The grounds are so pretty, too. Very easy parking. Really quiet area away from roads or any noise. Make sure to walk around to see the property. They even have a donkey you can say hi to! We petted him and he was so happy. His name is Bruno :) Shout out to Massimo and Angela at front desk.
Peaceful corner of roman countryside on the Cassian way. Renovated with taste mixing minimalism, rural style and creativity. Ideal for relaxing pauses to busy city life close to "caput mundi". The hosts are very welcoming. There is a good restaurant and shopping where you taste and buy local production of the farm.
The most amayzing place that i have ever seen before !!!!
Fabulous stay and wonderful hospitality just outside of Rome. Perfect Event venue location too.
If you're a budget traveller, treat yourself and stay at this wonderful place! It's really not that far from Rome city centre. The rooms are beautiful. Breakfast is a fresh selection of cereal, pastr…
Great food, very good and welcoming staff in the restaurant. The waiters were extremely good, gave great menu advice even though out Italian wasn't great.
Beautiful farmhouse with well-maintained spaces and quality modern renovations...excellent organic produce, though quite pricey (but you pay for quality!). You can eat at the bistro; I ate at the restaurant and found the food to be good and quite authentic. Families come for lunch on Sundays. Consider it.
Extremely nice and peaceful place, definitely recommend!
Very beautiful place, totally embedded in smooth hills at the North of Rome
A hotel north of Rome that's not exactly easy to get to, surrounded by greenery and far from any other buildings, the concept of recycling has been emphasized, particularly in the furnishings. The room is very spacious with a huge bathroom and a wonderful shower; the only flaw is the shower mixer, which means you have to rely on the knobs to get the desired temperature. Breakfast was good, but lacked some basic items, especially plates, except for the one plate provided at the start of the meal. Milk lovers will have to ask the only waitress every time to order something else and bring it to them. The cakes are delicious, fresh, and well-stocked. There's a good selection of yogurts; the savory portion of the buffet is truly limited. Excellent, including parking. Plenty of space for long walks and to observe some of the farm animals up close. The three loungers were covered in bird droppings. Furthermore, there is no indication as to where the reception is located. Much attention is paid to the beautiful restaurant attached, located at the beginning of the building and a little less to the hotel part.
Expectations were sky-high, and as far as the property was concerned, they were fully met: Casali del Pino is an experience worth living, immersed in the greenery of the Roman hills with truly breathtaking interior and exterior decor. Kudos to the extremely kind and knowledgeable staff. The sour notes, however, begin at the table. While the prices are understandable given the exclusive location, the quality of the food wasn't up to par: the appetizers (cured meats and cheeses) were flavorless, a sentiment shared by all five diners. The first courses were passable, but lacked anything special. It's a shame to finish the meal wondering what you ate, especially given the sizeable bill. Perhaps try again for an aperitif or dinner, hoping for more attention to detail in the kitchen. A shame.
A welcoming agriturismo, but with some ups and downs in the food offerings. The appetizers, especially the house cheeses, were rather tasteless and lacking in character. The bocconcini, however, were a positive note. The ravioli were good, unlike the cacio e ova balls, which were always bland but accompanied by a tasty sauce. The prices were decidedly high for the quality. A strong point was definitely the service, professional and welcoming. Overall, a mediocre experience.
We went to Casali del Pino on December 25th for lunch with the whole family. Unfortunately, the experience didn't live up to expectations, nor to the positioning the restaurant seems to be promoting. The food was extremely disappointing, comparable to a company canteen: appetizers with ordinary cold cuts, flavorless first courses that were clearly prepared in advance. The mushroom dish was completely bland. The lamb ragù was almost inedible, composed largely of sweetbreads and giblets, probably more for economic reasons than for culinary choice. The second course, roast lamb, was an ordinary dish, touted on the menu as a Michelin-starred dish, and was absolutely far from any idea of high-end cuisine. Regarding the wine list: embarrassing. Bottles averaging €35, of terrible quality. A Vermentino di Gallura, like the Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, bottled in Rome (this alone should give us pause), was clearly blended with the worst Sauvignon. The €2 Tavernello is significantly superior. A complete joke. The ambiance is also perplexing: the beautiful dining room contains spartan tables, paper placemats, folding IKEA garden chairs, and a room so cold we were forced to wear jackets. The final bill, €800, is completely disproportionate to the price. (5 menus with just a first course and 3 with a first and second course) The impression is that of a place that focuses more on image and notoriety than on substance. The only positive aspect: the friendly and professional staff.
