Siamo stati ieri sera a mangiare al " Il Peperoncino dispettoso" Devo dire che siamo stati benissimo consiglio vivamente di provare! La qualità della pizza era ottima e il servizio efficiente e cordiale! Fabbbioooo il cameriere è stato davvero bravo e simpatico ha reso la nostra serata ancora più speciale! I'll start off with this one of the best suppli that I had in Rome! This place was recommended to us by the concierge Metteo at the Waldorf Astoria for a local eatery and did not disappoint it is definitely traditional Italian I am not quite used to how al' dente the pasta they serve is but the flavour of the carbonara was delicious both pizzas we had were fresh immaculate ingredients and came together perfectly. The appetizers were intoxicating as was the wine! Visit if you can and I hope you enjoy!

I went with my daughter and her 4 friends, ages 34-38, who were all visiting from the USA. The patrons were Amalmost all local families from the surrounding neighborhoods. Service was very good. Our server was attentive, helpful, and spoke reasonable English. We shared 5 appetizers and individually ordered 3 pizzas and 3 main dishes. There were desserts but my guests had read about a place for deserts they wished to try. All the food was very good and served in a non-rushed way which made us feel at home and added to the enjoyment of a pleasent evening out.

Bruschetta entree Carbonara main Limoncello dessert And of course had a lovely red wine to enjoy my food. They also had daily specials, but I was happy with their menu! A truly lovely place! Our favorite place we visited in Rome, we even went back twice! The staff was so kind and helpful. They even went out of their way to share the history behind some of the dishes. Some of the best pizza and pasta we had on our trip to Italy!

I bought two pizzas to go. I ordered the Margarita and a spicy one. The service was quite fast, the pizzas were very tasty. The only downside is that when you buy to go, you pay the same price as you pay when you are enjoying the awesome atmosphere this place has to offer.

Food was very good. The staff was very knowledgeable about the wine and the background of said wine. The staff also gave really good recommendations on inexpensive bottles. Overall had a amazing time and would recommend to everyone especially Loyola students because it so close!

We spent a week in Rome and ate twice at this adorable restaurant. It was only an eight minute walk away from our hotel, the Rome Cavalieri. The service was fantastic. We had the absolute best waiter. And the pizza was absolutely delicious as were the many other dishes we tried. But honestly it was the lovely service and clean happy restaurant vibe that brought us back a second time before we left Italy. Super clean, great service, totally reasonable prices and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!!

I stayed in Rome very close by to the restaurant so I tried it out with my family, I was blown away. The food is amazing and so well presented, the staff were all very friendly and the atmosphere is unreal. I tried a few different dishes but my favourite appetiser was the tomato Bruschetta, along with the pasta and pizza. Such an amazing little gem, highly recommend.

Always a joy to visit! The staff are nice and are always welcoming to my coworkers. The food is good and the prices are reasonable. They have a huge outside seating area with heaters that is perfect for large groups. Highly recommend if you are in the area!

A differenza di alcune recensioni lette, la nostra esperienza è stata davvero piacevole. Abbiamo prenotato all’ultimo di venerdì sera, locale abbastanza pieno ma il tavolo per noi c’era. Non abbiamo aspettato tanto per ricevere antipasti (supplì e crocchette) e pizze. Servizio scorrevole e staff super gentile, disponibile e simpatico. Siamo state servite da Daniele ma altri membri dello staff di andavano sincerando che stessi mangiando bene… e tutto! 😂 Consigliato per una cena informale a base di piatti e pizze romane, in un clima informale (ma non invadente), simpatico e in una bella cornice! 4 antipasti, 2 pizze, 1 acqua e 2 caffè: 46€

Andiamo spesso, il cibo è sempre buono, peccato che questa volta le porzioni fossero molto più piccole del solito (la pasta e la cicoria veramente due forchettate...). Personale sempre gentile e accogliente.

This restaurant is a hidden gem. The locals love it, as it was packed within 30 minutes of opening. The service, vibe, and atmosphere were awesome. The food was okay, but not the best that we've had in Rome. I love cacio e pepe. However, it kinda lacked here. My son and I were craving a good, old-fashioned cheese burger; it was delicious and hit the spot. The fries, however, were overcooked and hard. All in all, if you're hungry, this isn't a bad place, and the prices are crazy. For a family of 3, we had 2 appetizers, 3 main courses, 4 sodas, 1 bottle of water, 1 alcohol drink, and 1 bread plate, all for less than €100.

Sono stato in questo locale per pranzo. Al mio arrivo il locale era vuoto. Nonostante fossimo l’unico tavolo, il servizio è stato lentissimo anche se devo dire che il cameriere era molto gentile. Il cibo era nella media, forse un po’ costoso dati i €50 per un primo, un secondo, due contorni, un caffè, il pane e due acque.

The food was great! Had both pizza and pasta which were both delicious! The service however was the downside and the waiter who served us had a massive attitude and very little patience which is a shame as it ruined our dining experience. We can certainly recommend the food, however the overall experience was so so, and will therefore probably not go back there again realistically.

Impasto pizza discreto ma insufficiente il condimento con mozzarella commerciale. Crema catalana con zucchero molto bruciacchiato e fredda da freezer internamente.

Iniziamo a dire che il supplì era freddo al suo interno , la pizza priva di sugo e mozzarella visto e considerato che ho ordinato una bufala e salsiccia, il cameriere simpatico e professionale parlo di quello con il codino . Questo e' successo 1-2 anni fa, ma la recensione non era stata pubblicata al tempo. Posto storico in cui da ragazzo mangiavo sempre con i miei amici. Ci sono tornato 10 anni dopo - il cibo e' decente e i prezzi nella media... purtroppo il cameriere (forse il proprietario?), nonostante pagassimo tutti con la carta, ha insistito che il POS doveva per forza arrotondare E15.23 a E15.25 per ogni persona (eravamo in 4). Ho provato a chiedere spiegazioni al riguardo ma niente, ha insistito che cosi' doveva essere. A me sembrava molto strano, in genere con la carta si puo' pagare qualunque cifra, ma alla fine ho accettato controvoglia; vivendo all'estero da molto tempo, non sono piu' pratico di come funzionano certe cose in Italia. Poi ho scoperto che quell'arrotondamento e', dal 2018, legalmente applicato solo pagando in contanti... tornando a casa, ho notato che lo scontrino diceva che l'intera cifra (60.90 diviso in 4) era stata pagata in contanti, mentre avevamo tutti pagato con carta. Questa e' una cosa assolutamente irregolare. Malizia? Incompetenza? Non lo so, ma un comportamento del genere e' inaccettabile e non ci tornero' mai piu'.
