Fuimos de turismo rural un día, y mirando las reseñas de Google nos decantamos por aquí... Rico el queso, rico las berenjenas con miel, rica la cazuela y rica la porra antequerana. El servicio de lujo a pesar que tenían mucha gente...

Volver al Bar Frasquito siempre es un acierto. Esta ha sido nuestra segunda visita y, de nuevo, salimos encantados. Probamos una ensaladilla fuera de carta que estaba espectacular, con un sabor casero y muy bien preparada. Las croquetas de jamón fueron otro acierto: crujientes, cremosas y con un sabor intenso. Para rematar, una parrillada de carne abundante y en su punto, perfecta para compartir. El servicio, como siempre, cercano y amable, y el ambiente del bar tiene ese encanto especial de Setenil que invita a quedarse un buen rato. En resumen, un sitio muy recomendable si visitas Setenil de las Bodegas. ¡Repetiremos sin duda!

Fuimos mi pareja y yo de turismo al pueblo, y acertamos de lleno al ir a este sitio para comer. La comida estaba de 10 y el hombre que nos atendió nos trató con un cariño y una cercanía que en ningún otro sitio. Lo recomiendo 100%

Estuvimos este puente en Setenil, El primer día para comer vimos que este restaurante estaba lleno, por lo que decidimos confiar en el sitio y esperar a que nos tocase una mesa. Había mucha gente y esperamos una media hora, pero es normal ya que estaba lleno, mucha gente esperando y demás, dentro quedó mesa pero queríamos fuera por lo que esperamos algo más. Respecto al sitio, está en un sitio inmejorable situado, en la calle cueva del sol y unas vistas espectaculares. La comida es un 10/10, cenamos en otro de la zona y no fue tan bueno como este ni por asomo, asique al día siguiente repetimos de nuevo. El primer día pedimos tortillas de camarones (2,5€ la tortilla, super bien de precio y eran grandes), croquetas de queso payoyo que eran fuera de carta y estaban buenísimas, flamenquin de rabo de toro que estaba rico y jugoso y la presa ibérica que estaba increíble y la salsa de mojo picón a las patatas le venía genial. Los camareros súper atentos y agradables, supongo que era el dueño nos hizo hasta una rebaja, lo cual todavía te dan más ganas de ir, asique al día siguiente para cenar repetimos y pedimos croquetas de jamón (muy buenas y cremosas), flamenquin carbonara que la verdad es que mejor el de toro y entrecot que estaba en su punto perfecto y con buen sabor a carne. Nos ha gustado mucho el sitio y si va algún conocido lo recomendamos seguro. De precio muy bien para lo que cuesta todo hoy en día, nosotros pedimos mucha comida por probar más cosas pero con menos también comes bien, ración abundante. Sin duda un buen sitio, merece la pena esperar un poco. Precios que recuerde: tortilla camarones 2,5€, presa 18 o 20€, croquetas 10€, entrecot 18 o 20€, flamenquin 12/13€

A nice place looking over the rocks at Sentenil Las Bodegas! Note that kitchen only opens at 12 pm, the gambas is to die for! So so good (even better than the popular one we had in Madrid). Food is also very reasonably priced. Good place to stop for a quick lunch 👍🏻

Absolute perfection, even on a rainy day. The food is flavourful and comes out piping hot, the waiter was polite and patient (with my bad Spanish), and the place is stunning - directly under the cliff, so unique. We had the Flamenquin, the ribs and the sheep’s cheese with the eggplant. A well balanced meal, we were left with huge smiles on our faces. Thanks to the team at Bar Frasquito, we will be talking about this place all the way to New Zealand!

It was a great experience to have lunch under the famous rocks. The waiter was super friendly. We ordered small octopus salad, squid, Iberian dam and finally custard with biscuit as deserts. It was really nice to find a nice salad after 2 weeks of Andalusian holiday, as there are not too many options in the Andalusian cuisine. The taste of squid was above average. However, the Iberian dam was super delicious, and I suggest everyone to order that. It was actually a recommendation of our waiter, and I am really happy that we ordered it. We end up paying 40 euros, and I think the prices were quite affordable considering the food quality.

Very tasty food – finally something with vegetables, not dry or greasy. For tapas, we had the octopus salad and cheese croquettes (a house specialty) – both were really good. For mains: octopus skewers and beef tenderloin steak. The octopus was excellent, but the steak was disappointing – full of tough fat, hard to chew, more suitable as a boot sole for a mountain hike. Still giving 5 stars – for Spain, this was quite decent food. The kids had chicken croquettes with fries (kids' meal) – tasted like breaded chicken pâté, but they ate it happily. For dessert, we had the chocolate cake – more like a pudding, but it was fine. Simple presentation, easy to clean up – practical for such a small place. Prices are a bit high for the quality, but with this location, it’s understandable. As usual in Spain, the staff barely speaks English, even though most of the guests are tourists.

Great meal here on a sunny Winter afternoon. Lots of sunshine to keep you warm and simple but delicious Spanish standards. Very reasonable prices considering it's a huge tourist draw. Wait staff gets a but bogged down when busy.

A very nice tapas bar under the rock. We came just before the siesta, so the place was not too crowded. We opted for the recommendations of the waitress, which was a good idea, every dish, while simple, was well seasoned, fresh and tasty. The prices are reasonable too. Overall, a definite recommendation if you find yourself being hungry in Setenil de las Bodegas.

Great food and service. Big plates for decent price in a very turistic place. We waited for about 30 minutes to get a table, but we knew what we got into, we had seen the comments so we decided to come to this one. We had the croquetas, flamenquines and the parrillada for 2. A lot of food for 2, thankfully we were told that one more dish was too much. The flamenquines were a bit raw inside, but when we told the waitress they immediately took it and brought a new one, well cooked. It was all very good. The fries could be better though.

Probably the best restaurant in the whole region ! 100% the best in Setenil.. Let's start with something very important if you want to enjoy your meal here or anywhere else in this pretty village : come early. Get there by 13.00 – 13.30 and put your name on a waiting list. You can reserve some places by phone, but not this one. Too good, too busy. The waiter will tell you approximately how long you have to wait. In our case 30 minutes. Use that time to stroll around the village center. There are only two roads with caves, divided by a river. The restaurant is on one of these cave roads, so everything is at hand and time will fly. When you get back there is a good chance that there are still one or two before you. Get a drink or simply wait, taking in the scenery. Once you're seated get your order going asap, either because you have scanned the QR code before or because you have already chosen from the menu on their web. If you are unsure, ask the staff for recommendations or tell them any special requirements – we are used to Ribera de Duero, but were told that "la gallinita ciega" was far superior to their Ribera house wine...and so it was. In fact so much that we have now ordered a box of it. Virtually unknown wine with an excellent taste and cheap as chips ! As for the food, they have really tasty vegan options..as well as food for "normal" people (yes, I am the vegan in the family..). The food is good quality and served quickly. The staff are fast, efficient and very friendly. This is the number one restaurant in the village and it is easy to see why.

El local es muy pequeño, ideal para comer tranquilamente. Fuimos dos personas a comer, habíamos tenido que esperar unos 5 minutos a que hubiera una mesa libre, luego todo sin problemas. La atención buena desde el primer momento. Pedimos el codillo y el flamenquín de queso payoyo, ambos muy buenos de sabor y buena cantidad. De postre pedimos la tarta de zanahoria que estaba espectacular, recomendable probarla.

El sitio es muy bonito, los camareros muy amables y la comida muy rica. Pedimos unas croquetas caseras de jamón que estaban espectaculares, hacía mucho que no probaba una bechamel tan rica y flamenquines de rulo de cabra con cebolla caramelizada (te vienen dos) uno de ellos venía crudo por el centro y al decírselo a la camarera me puso uno nuevo (agradezco mucho que fueran tan amables) y de beber dos tintos de verano. Estos dos platos y dos bebidas 37€

Servicio rápido y atento. En general todo lo que comimos estaba bastante bueno, a destacar la presa ibérica y el queso (sabor fuerte). Las papas aliñás estaban algo secas y les faltaba sabor.

Bar en sitio precioso, comida espectacular sobre todo la parrillada, brutal la cantidad de carne y super bien de precio. El camarero hace su trabajo muy bien. Recomendable.

The location is great as you will find yourself in the shade right under the cliff! Easily accessible and quite friendly staff.
