So a caveat - this restaurant is not pretentious or trying to appeal to mainstream tourists. So the decor is not modern at all. But what you will get is a rustic and authentic mountain cuisine restaurant with proper charm. The owner came to the table and explained the menu to us and the type of cuisine they served. They specialise in game foods like wild boar and venison but they do serve others like calamari and fish. So, food is absolutely amazing, very home made, delicious and value for money. Lots of locals were eating there when we went. My wife had the oxtail, I had the grilled wild boar with blue cheese sauce. All delicious. Wild boar was sooo tender and had a wonderful chargrilled taste. The blue cheese didn't add or detract from it and it was served separately. Overall, if you are planning a trip out to Ronda in the morning, try this restaurant for your lunch on your return journey rather than the other restaurants actually located in Ronda old town.

Like a mountain top restaraunt, it was peaceful, quiet and delicious. Outstanding service. I cannot reccomend the food enough. It was absolutely amazing. The deer, the goat cheese salad, the eggs and chorizo. They can't go wrong. Bless this amazing place!

Haven't eat here but would say It would be nice to have with the view. Friendly staff who welcome you. A visit is worth it. They have a hotel and restaurant so you could stay longer as you want to enjoy a quiet place and a beautiful view

Last stop after Ronda so make sure to use the bathroom. Excellent food, prices and service. Check out the photos of known visitors on their walls. On the weekends it gets full of bikers and sport cars that enjoy the road from the coast.

I ride to Navasillo for breakfast nearly every weekend on my motorbike. Food and service is always great. When I’ve had meals there in the evenings again great food (venison, wild boar or oxtail.) and excellent service along with great prices

Had Coffee here and a cheesecake. The waitress was very nice, and spoke some english. Bought figs here and balsamico. Should go there for dinner some time. Went for a walk in the nearby mountains afterwards.

Fuimos hace unas semanas. No se puede reservar mesa y va por orden de llegada. Aunque tuvimos que esperar unos 40 minutos para comer, la espera mereció la pena. Probamos el jabalí a la castaña y estaba muy bueno. Relación calidad -precio muy buena y cantidad abundante. El servicio fue rápido y más con toda la gente que había. Si volvemos a pasar por allí repetiremos.

Great roadside restaurant to make a road trip stop. Friendly and helpful staff. Great coffee. Good quality food and good value for money. Easy access and easy free parking. Very local atmosphere with local food. Definitely a place to stop and try. Worth a visit. Recommended for sure.

Llegamos a las 2, las croquetas de los niños llegaron a la mesa a las 4 menos cuarto. Llegan los platos tarde, las patatas frias, cuando llevamos un rato comiendo llega el pan... Mesas pidiendo hojas de reclamaciones, la gente disgustada... es lo que pasa cuando hay dos camareros para 100 personas. Una lástima por la comida que estaba aceptable pero no repetiremos. La culpa sin duda de los jefes, los trabajadores han hecho lo que han podido.

Una auténtica vergüenza, reservamos mesa a las 2 hasta las 3:40 no nos empiezan a traer ningun plato,aún a sabiendas que íbamos con niños...le pedimos en 4 ocasiones que al menos las croquetas para los niños que pudiesen comer y llevaban platos a otras mesas que llegaron después y encima el mismo plato que reclamamos constantemente,pues a sido lo último en llegar los adultos comiendo y los niños sin su comida,los platos fríos y las patatas duras y recalentadas como si llevasen 1 hora sacadas y sin servir,están desbordados no saben ni dónde van los platos de locura,muy poco personal, el camarero emplatando una pena

Mal: estando en un sitio tan alto donde corre tanto viento y donde normalmente hace fresco debido a la altura, deberían tener al menos un sitio acondicionado para que la gente que vamos con perrito nos pudiéramos sentir un poco a gusto. Porque evidentemente no dejan entrar. Para mí con esa desconsideración tan grande, ya la han fastidiado.

Rude man was like we are closed and we were like looking around and they clearly weren’t and I thought oh maybe they are closing now so we are in the restaurant next door instead but then we saw that they just were not closed . Came to the conclusion they didn’t want to serve us because we were foreign tourists??? Disgrace

Price for sandwich is 3€ in menu but they charged us 5€ without explaining why there’s a difference. Seems like they rip of tourists.
