I miss fosters so much!!!! But for those who read reviews before you try something this place is 100% worth it, Burgers are Awesome and their twisters are amazing. Let's not forget to mention but Owners of the store definitely have a strong personality unlike a lot of other places.

Perfect everytime. 30 years of the Best Hot Fudge Sundae. The service is great too. 💞 May 2024 New owners now. Service is slow and the Hot Fudge Sundae only has 1 teaspoon of Hot Fudge on it. The stinky bathroom makes the dining area smell really bad. I will not be a patron here anymore😞

Drive thru line was long tonight. We went for ice cream. The crew came outside and brought us our deserts to the car... great customer service we didn't have to wait in the long line. Shakes and smoothies were excellent!!! Definitely worth the drive.

Best patty melt sandwich I've had in a long time. I was pleased with the cleanliness, the prompt and friendly service, and the delicious food. My meal was hot and fresh and I felt welcomed. This location is definitely a new favorite 😁

The only place around that I know of where they still make deep fried burritos, crinkle cut fries and banana splits in the same place. The hamburgers and other food is pretty good as well. I don't know how healthy it is but if you're going to eat fast food this is a place to go and get your fill. All of their ice cream desserts are just as delicious as I remember as a child when my Mama used to bring me here to eat. Even the Vintage style design brings back lots of great memories from my childhood. There's no place like it I only wish there were more locations still around so I don't have to travel an hour away from where I live to come and eat here.

This place is awesome! If you love cats, from the small Sand Cat to the Malay Tiger, this is the place for you. You're only a few feet from these amazing and beautiful creatures. The compound is compact so you don't have to walk far to see it all. The gift shop is nice and not outrageously priced. $10 for adults, $5 for kids. Don't miss it!

On the 7th of November 2021 My Father and I went to this Fosters Freeze. I have been going to this Fosters Freeze since 1989. I spent My teen years and early adult years hanging out here. Tonight I enjoyed dinner with My Father. The food is excellent! The price You Pay is well worth it! Their Customer Service is excellent! The dining room is always clean and sanitary! I have NO complaints. It's a great place to take Your family for a meal. I highly recommend eating here.

I love going there when I’m in town. The service is great, the people are nice and I love the ice cream. There is plenty of parking. It’s never too busy and you can pretty much go in and out with no issues. It’s easy to find and it’s always a great place to go when you are craving some soft serve ice cream. This is my go to place for soft serves in this area.

Seen the billboard as I was driving back to Reno so I decided to stop in. I was greeted by one of the employees as soon as I stepped in. I ordered the chili burger combo. The burger and the fries were nice and hot and delicious. Would definitely stop by again on my way to LA.

Super cute former service station, clean restroom was plus on a road trip in the area. Manager started taking our order as soon as she walked in before she even put her purse down.

Everything I've had off the menu has been excellent. The workers have always been polite and kindly offer me a box to carry multiple drinks or twisters in. Most of the staff will say hello to my kids sitting in the back. Very family friendly place. They support the local schools also another plus.

I love this old fashioned burger joint with Soft Serve Ice Cream!! I had a Worms n' Dirt twister and it was The Best!! I go here on the regular and most of the time they have $1.00 sweet tea's!! Foster's is always great for a quick bite. They have all the American classics that I love. They not only serve good food quickly, they also do a lot for their community and the local schools. They are a wonderful company and I am proud to support them as often as I can.

They knock it out of the park every time. Everything I've ordered has been good. Try the Foster style fries, they're amazing. The service is great too, they're always very nice.

Soft serve was on point. The Mocha Milkshake made us happy. Not too sticky sweet so that's always nice. A great treat off the 14. The staff is pleasant and helpful too.

I was pleasantly surprised. The area this is located is not the nicest, so I was a little concerned but this restaurant was really nice. It was exceptionally clean, inside and out. The employees were super friendly and efficient. Best of all, the food was amazing!

This place is Awesome! The food is always freshly prepared and delicious, so be ready to wait a little longer than those other fast food places. The burgers are the best, I recommend them. Make sure you stay for dessert and try some ice scream. My favorite is a strawberry shake. It also has a great outside eating area.

It's one of the best Fosters Freeze that I have been to. They have owned it for 30 years. The food is excellent and it is always clean. They have adopted many children over the years and have had them work there when old enough. If you are coming back from a trip from up North on the 14 freeway I would recommend stopping there . They also have a Local Favorites menu. Enjoy 😊

Wow this place is great! Great quality food, friendly service. Indoor seating! It might be just me but I've never been into a Foster's Freeze that had indoor air conditioning seating. Plus plenty of parking and plenty of outdoor seating on a patio that is covered! Indoor restrooms and seriously everything is just A+, 5 Stars! If you're just passing through this is a great stop! I didn't take any pictures, but it's a phospheness, freeze sure enough on my way over to bridgecrest, I stopped at it. Hey You can't deny the milkshakes. I didn't even eat a burger or anything like that, but I had to stop for a milkshake, a fosters freeze. Nothing like this at all in the valley. They used to have an aw rootbeer in the valley and fosters freeze too They don't have any of these anywhere around them. So if you see it, you receive one I encourage you to stop at it.

I go to Fosters Freeze almost every Saturday after a round of 18 holes of golf with my dad. I get a vanilla chocolate dipped cone Some times it's better than others but 75% of the time it's very lightly dipped to where you can see through the chocolate shell. When it's like this it melts extremely fast and creates a mess. However! The very day I'm writing this, I just finished the most perfect chocolate dipped vanilla ice cream cone I've ever gotten from this location. The employee was a young man and he created a nice thick shell, which protected the ice cream from pouring out of the cone. It was truly a masterpiece on this hot morning. I hope he reads this and knows someone appreciates his work!

These guys here know what they’re doing. Obviously they “ understood the assignment.” They always have hot, fresh, consistently good food. I stopped off for lunch today and ordered a double cheeseburger and a small fry and a Pepsi. Like always it was very good. The employees are always very friendly and are happy that you are there. Stopped by on the way back from a trip since the fosters we used to have in lancaster closed. Great little place, all the employees were really nice! My wife and I got: - Krispy Chicken sandwich - Old fashioned Burger w/cheese - Fries and two banana shakes Everything managed to hold their temps on the way home and was all very tasty, We were both very satisfied and full. The Banana milkshakes were AWESOME! Was expecting artificial banana flavor and it had actual bananas! Will definitely be back if we're passing through again!

It's a nice local spot. A bit higher priced than I would like, particularly because all we really get is ice cream, but it's a niche market. It tends to be a bit unclean, and the staff is typically high school students, but we still go because we love their rootbeer freeze.

I had a craving for a Root Beer Freeze. It had been over 20 years since I treated myself and when I didn't see it on the menu, I was sort of bummed. The food is really good, and its no more expensive than McDonalds. They have amazing ice creams as well. The only really bad thing about this place is the service. It really depends on who is working, but you never really get that good feeling when you leave. You need to train better for that guys.

The service was the best I've heard since I moved to California 3 months ago. The food was fresh and served in a timely manner. Very obvious the food was from the steam and the flavor was great. I ordered the #5 Krispy with fries and it is one of the best chicken sandwiches I've had. I used to be a co manager at an Arby's in South Carolina so these are things I look for if I eat out as well as cleanliness. The only reasons I don't give a 5 star is because the young gentleman who was sweeping didn't wash his hands when he returned to the front counter to take our order, the young lady cleaning the dining room didn't tend tip the drink service station, and the young gentleman that changed the trash didn't bother to clean the trash receptacles. It was also very clear the floor hasn't been mopped in quite a while. It did appear that the staff was working well together as a team to attend to their guests and maintain the restaurant. This was my very first time eating at a Fosters Freeze and haven't even heard of it until a few hours before we visited, but I'd definitely eat there again and I'd recommend it to anyone else. I was incredibly satisfied with the visit overall

Fantastic location despite being remote to the central Antelope Valley but it provided me with a lovely excursion. Edit: I got a milkshake from them and it was a well done milkshake the problem was there was an a gob of peanut butter and chocolate which wasn’t especially mixed. Good ingredients, just need to mix it a little more thoroughly next time.

The chili cheese fries are banging! The only annoying part is if you decide to come here, it won't matter if you do drive thru or inside ordering, it takes about 15-20 minutes to get your food. :/ I understand that they make it all fresh so maybe that's why? Idk, the food is good but waiting is the most annoying part.

There is nothing that can compare to a small town hospitality and friendly people who work here. The restaurant was clean the parking lot and facility was well maintained including the restrooms. The only reason I gave it four stars is due to the fact that there was quite a bit of Grease and barbecue sauce on the outside of the wrapper which is not a huge deal just made it more of a mess to eat. I was eating inside the restaurant at the time but if I would have got that in my vehicle it would have been a whole other issue.

I’ve been going to Fosters Freeze for over 35 years and always had a good experience. But, the last Butterfinger Twister I ordered had not been “twisted”. It was just a cup full of soft serve vanilla ice cream with chopped up Butterfinger candy on top. Considering I spent nine dollars on it, I think it should of been prepared properly. I had to change my review from five stars to three stars because they changed a lot of their menu items by using cheaper ingredients. They used to have the best chili for their hot dogs but now it kind of tastes like dog food. They still have really good ice cream though, which is why I gave them three stars instead of two. Perhaps other people might like their food, but I don't. Good luck

I always stop here for an ice cream when passing through, but I may stop doing that. My son ordered a medium banana shake and after a long wait at the drive through, he received a kid size. When I said we had ordered a medium, the young lady working the window said that I didn't. She said, in a belligerent manner, that she had repeated the order back to me and that I had confirmed. What she SHOULD have done, having worked in food service myself, was apologize for the miscommunication, make a medium, and charge me the difference. She needs some food service training.

It was nice because of the nostalgia of Fosters Freeze from when I was a kid. My family and I used to go to the one in Los Angeles by Fletcher Drive. The location in Rosamond however, I observed a fly near the restrooms in the back. And also one near the open containers of toppings they have for their twisters and shakes. I've been waiting in line for around 15 minutes. My wife actually is driving and she went to use the bathroom because we're still waiting. This is ridiculous.

This has been the 4th time in a row that the workers forgot something in my order. I got an order of chili cheese fries that was never given to me. It was a crispy chicken sandwich on one occasion. Even something as simple as adding cheese on my sandwiches were forgotten after they would repeat the order to me as I confirmed them. They got at least $15 from me so far. This is getting ridiculous and unacceptable!

Went there today and NOT ONE of their employees were wearing masks! This was their response from corporate: "We are going by the guidelines given to us per the Kern County Environmental Health Division as of May 20, 2020." You'd think that they'd still require employees handling food to wear masks. Very easy to follow more relaxed guidelines. I guess they rather save money from mask expenses over their customer's health/lives.

I found a long hair in my burger and the burger that my hair was in, was a different burger from what I ordered. Then when I went back to have my order remade the manager was not very accommodating and had a bad attitude. The workers were using their hands to handle the food but were not washing their hands after touching different things in the kitchen. The workers also were not wearing hairnets and has their hair in ponytails that kept swinging over the food. They remade me order and still left out some of my food. I had to go down there for a 3rd and the manager continued to be rude. I had to request a refund for the poor customer service and unsanitary working conditions. I will never go there again. They need a new manager and new rules for the employees to not contaminate people’s food!

The place is filthy, the food is not good, and theyare doing illegal things concerning their workers:not paying them, letting underage workers drink at their home, harrassing people, and paying people under the table.

Prices on the menu board are all wrong. I walked up to the counter and was expected to pay about 30 % more than the listed prices because “they need to update them”. This may not legally be false advertising but it is very disingenuous and unprofessional.

The lettuce was old and pinkish, the tomato was bad it was soggy and dark in color, the patty was under cooked, the bun was extremely soggy like if they poured the entire thousand island bottle in it . honestly didn’t think I was actually going to do a review about this place or else I would’ve atleast taken pictures to show everyone how sick their food would make you.. It was so disguising that I couldn’t even feed it to my dog.

Usually superb service via drive-thru. On this super hot day, needed iced tea and waited 20 minutes to only move one car length. I ended up going up the street to another restaurant for iced tea. I hope they work on their process improvements.

Beware of shady practices happening here. They take your order and repeat it to you correctly but charge you on something extra aside from the card fee. Pay attention to your totals and your receipts! I thought something was weird last time I went and got three items... this time I ordered two items and was charged for an item twice. The refunds are also processed as cash so something is shady.

Waited in the drive thru for over 30 minutes for a very watery chocolate chip shake (my son’s shake was nice and thick). First they gave me the wrong flavor, when I told the guy he remade it in literally 1 minute. When I told him it was way too watery he said it’s because it was hot in there. So do they not have freezers? When I asked for a refund a lady who refused to give me her name (she has no hair) came with an ugly attitude to assist with the refund. I suggested that maybe they should tell their customers that their ice cream is soft so we don’t get served watery shakes. She said “no that takes too much time”. I’m literally 6 months pregnant craving a shake just to have bad service, a nasty watery shake and 30 minutes waisted of my time. VERY disappointed!

Ordered a Hot Fudge Sundae, and this is the amount of hot fudge I got with my ice cream. Also when I asked if they could add more after they gave it to me, the girl said she'd have to charge me extra to add just a little bit more. I'm not happy at all. This is my first impression and visit and I doubt I'll ever go back after my experience! I do not reccomend this place.
