Then you have to admit that trattorias like this are real gems. The food is excellent, truly good. It tastes of everything, home-made and very homely. I would have given it an extra star for the service, but Google won't let me. I think it's truly a place you should try sooner or later. If you're passing through, I think it's definitely worth it. I'm a really picky eater; I've tried several Michelin-starred restaurants, and this place even made me mop up the bread. That speaks for itself.

We stopped at this trattoria for breakfast on our way to the spa, so we can't comment on lunch, but we can definitely say the cakes we had for breakfast were exceptional (a chocolate and pear slice and a crust of blackcurrant and almond jam). The owner is polite, welcoming, friendly, and down-to-earth. While we were having breakfast, the phone kept ringing with lunch reservations, so I assume the food is good at lunch too. We promised ourselves we'd come back and stay for lunch.

Tiny place packed with diners absolutely without frills but magnificent food. The service was courteous, swift and precise. The knowledge of preparation and ingredients of each dish made you want to taste one of everything. HATS-OFF, I've never had such a beautiful explanation of dishes before! The menu changes daily! The food is prepared with unique wonderful creativity. No fancy plating just great food! Having many allergies, I inquired about ingredients in the desserts- outsourced, so rightly so, the owner declined responsibility- respectful choice! My husband had the apple pie and said it was fabulous. Other guests advised that this was a "go-to" fixed favorite place while passing through. Affordable and genuine flavors. We will be back! If possible make reservations otherwise there may be a small wait!

Let's start with the owner: he describes the dishes on the menu, making you incredibly hungry. Just from the way he talks about them, you immediately understand he loves his job and his cooking. Then...the dishes. If you find a local cow to make a ragù and have it slaughtered and portioned to provide meat for your restaurant, I certainly wouldn't be surprised if the ragù turns out incredibly flavorful or if the stew makes me appreciate the texture of the meat so much. I could go on and on about the other delicious things we've eaten, but I'll leave that to the dishes themselves, which you'll get to know and appreciate when you come for lunch or dinner here. Bravo!

We found this trattoria based on the reviews we'd read. The place is located on the highway leading to Courmayeur, in Morgex, to be precise! The staff is very helpful and friendly, extremely kind and welcoming! The dishes are the highlight, from our main courses to dessert. We absolutely loved everything. Simple, home-made flavors, but truly perfect! I highly recommend calling ahead; they fill up quickly!

From the outside, I have to be honest, I didn't want to go in, but given the time, we stopped for lunch. The owner explained the dishes and made recommendations, the staff was friendly, and the food was very good at a fair price. What can I say? Looks can often be deceiving. It's worth returning.

Excellent workers restaurant. We looked for a restaurant and saw a place where the construction workers who worked in the area eat. We went in and were not disappointed. We ordered pasta in tomato sauce and pasta with pesto. Simple and delicious dishes. Simple, but it was the best pasta we ate in our week in the Aosta Valley. The price was also excellent - 10 euros for a delicious and satisfying pasta dish. recommended!

This place is amazing ! The owner went way out of his way to use a translation app to help us order food . The food was amazing , the wine was great , and he really made dining with our two year old daughter easy ! Grazie mille 👌👌👌

After the rafting trip, we took their advice and decided to eat here. I'd say the food was good, and the service was also acceptable. The owner explains the menu verbally, but what's annoying—and perhaps we should have asked—is that he doesn't mention the prices of the dishes or the menu, or at least doesn't explain what the options are (fixed menu, à la carte, or something else). In the end, it cost €35 per person, including a first course, second course, dessert, coffee, and two bottles of prosecco for six people. Almost acceptable, but prices should be stated or written so that you know them when you're at the table. By the way, I still haven't figured out if there was a reduced-price "business lunch" or if it's for everyone... on the counter, there was a piece of paper that said "workers' menu" or something like that, who knows... I didn't think I was being rude in writing the review. I just pointed out that it would be helpful to know the prices at the table, and that perhaps simply displaying them outside isn't enough, as it's not a given that you'll necessarily have to see and read them. The rules: Prices, while freely determined by the owner, must always be clearly indicated, so as to inform customers and make them aware before entering into a contractual relationship with the person serving them food and beverages. This rule also applies to specials of the day and specials not listed on the menu; the waiter is required to clearly communicate prices. In short, it's necessary to adopt a method that ensures customers can choose what to order, avoiding unpleasant surprises at checkout. That said, a more polite response would have been enough... .

A truly unique trattoria on the main road, with chaotic service given the large number of customers. I don't know, I expected more from the food and especially the presentation 🥹 It gets a passing grade, but it could really be better. The price is a bit high for the amount we ate... ask for all the prices before ordering, I recommend it; it gave me the impression that tourists pay more.

Ci siamo fermati per pranzo menu turistico 18 € a persona noi abbiamo preso invece solo un primo di ravioli e un secondo con una fettina di torta abbiamo comunque speso come 2 menu completi .....€ 36,60 qualcosa non torna , detto questo non si mangia nemmeno bene i ravioli sembravano quelli dell' md il ribes nemmeno nella fantasia , la carbonada sembrava cibo per gatti ..... di sicuro non torneremo e nemmeno lo consigliamo .
