We spend a lot of time here because it is so very good. The chef's sauces are creative and delicious and the pastry chef has made me save room for dessert more than I ever have before.

A beautiful restaurant with nearly 30 years in business, and it's quite obvious as to why they've remained so successful in such a competitive industry. Some must-have favorites of mine are the calamari appetizer, the gnocchi, lamb chops, or literally anything else that's cooked on the wood fire grill. The tantalizingly smokey flavor easily won me over, the service is pleasant, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. 5 stars all around!

This was my choice place for my birthday because every aspect is divinely scrumptious. I've had the pork chop (which is never a pick for me but I was feeling adventurous) and with no exaggeration do I say that it's the best pork chop I've ever had. I don't know how they make it so juicy but it's amazing. I also appreciate that they switch up their flavors seasonally and in very original ways. This also goes for their cocktails. Very original and creative combinations that are refreshing as most restaurants seem to have common fads making it a challenge to find a place of passion, originality, and excellent execution. Service is also always excellent and I've had great interactions with servers, hosts and managers. Overall, I absolutely love this place and very grateful to have found it! Going back tomorrow for lunch!

Delicious food and beautiful decor!!!! We just happened to find this place by chance after apple picking at a nearby farm. We were pleasantly surprised! We were seated immediately and they were able to accommodate our party of five easily. There is a children’s menu - that offers great finger foods. My husband and I were blown away by how tasty our meal was! My son had a grilled chicken Cesar salad and with corn bread croutons. My son didn’t appreciate the sweet flavor from the croutons and felt that they didn’t compliment the salad well. I felt the croutons were delicious and I would have loved to have them sprinkled on top of a nice bowl of savory chili! Our salmon was superb and the jasmine rice was also delicious! We definitely want to eat here again! This place has an “at home” feeling. I would definitely make a reservation again - great venue for a baby shower or other family gathering. I believe they can host parties/ group gathering here as well!!!

Beautiful experience, me and my mom went to lunch here it was great we ordered the Santa Fe salad with grilled shrimp it was delicious. The service was great and quick also. The atmosphere was classy and sophisticated with all the blue accents.

Absolutely great experience having dinner here. The staff was attentive and friendly and always made sure we had what we needed and that our water glass was full! The cocktails were phenomenal (I tried a lavender gin cocktail, a vanilla rum cocktail and a raspberry mint champagne mixer). For appetizer we started with the shrimp and cheesy grits cake which was simply one of the best dishes I've had! The smoked flavor on the shrimp was unmatched! For entrees we had the peanut noodle Thai fusion dish with filet mignon and it really was comparable to delicious Thai dishes of the same caliber. We also had the seared scallops over creamy lemon risotto and the cook on the scallops was perfect, as was the creaminess of the risotto! Great outdoor seating and ambience. Definitely stop by!

The restaurant was a golden find. After going to the farm for sunflowers and some peaches and apples, we found Redwoods. Carol the waitress OUTSTANDING customer service. We need 1000 Carol's. She suggested the wood grilled shrimp and grit cake for our starter....oh my goodness to the gracious.... the shrimp great! the grit cake amazing creamy seasoned to perfection the cheese sauce made sweet music with our taste buds...it was Tuesday so we had the special...grilled glazed Salmon over rice and green beans again an excellent choice they give you an abundance of food the salmon cooked perfectly the green beans cooked perfectly the rice cooked perfectly and the rum punch to go with our meal had a real punch. I highly recommend REDWOODS....I definitely will be back...

We decided to stop by on our way home as we drove through Chester. The atmosphere is nice and one of the rooms had a private party while we were there. The server seemed new but was friendly when he was at the table. My wife ordered a chicken sandwich, and I got a pulled chicken bbq sammy. Her sandwich was dry and assembled from cold cut chicken. My sandwich was very dry and needed extra bbq. We ordered some extra bbq and honey mustard to try and take some of the dryness away. I have to say the Honey mustard was the highlight of the meal. It has a zing to it ... if you like horseradish flavors, I highly recommend it. The fries were out of a bag kind of fries, and the coleslaw was very good. We have not been here for dinner, but I would not suggest the two sandwiches we ordered.

It’s a shame how this place went downhill. The customer service it’s not there. The lady manager is not very knowledgeable on how to deal with issues. My husband had ordered fish and chips. He took a few bites of it and wasn’t feeling very good after it sent it back the manager came out and said they didn’t cook it enough and it was raw. My husband then ordered another meal, which took a while to come out. I was already done with my meal. And had to sit and watch him eat. Something should’ve been done about this issue seeing that it was the fault of your kitchen. I’m a general manager in a restaurant and I would not put up with something like this.
