Just had lunch on this Friday afternoon. First time eating here and everyone loved it! Great Czech dishes and Italian dishes. Our party of 5 had both. We sat outside and it was lovely. The food was superb 👌. Our waitress was amazing. We will definitely be back.

Delicious food! Have never tried Czech food before and this blew me out of the water! Flavorful and filling. Chicken paprikash was a hit! Free and delicious homemade bread. Ruby was our waitress and she was so great! Good selection of beer and wine. We’ll be back!

This is for sure a hidden gem! I’m originally from Eastern Europe so I am always in search of good European food. This place is for sure the best one I have been to in California. Very good Czech food and the best draft Czech beer- those who have been to Czech Republic and loved their draft beer, this is a place for you! Also served in the classic Czech beer glass. All the food was amazing- huge portions, fresh. Huge variety of sides. The potato salad is my weakness and this one was so good! Amazing soft goulash and super crispy chicken schnitzel. And of course a cucumber and tomatoes platter- classic European side. Will definitely come back to try other dishes! Also was able to sit with the dog outside in the shaded area. Definitely checks this place out, prices are very reasonable too!

We came here for Valentine's Day for an early dinner. The service was super friendly, a few minor things (water/box) were forgotten because they were so busy. Food was tasty and we'll definitely be back!

The food was delicious and the server was super nice! We had beef goulash and chicken paprikash, with potato pancakes as appetizer. Everything was good. The chicken paprikash was my favorite, creamy and so flavorful.

Staff and atmosphere are wonderful. Good food great price. Highly recommend reservations small establishment that’s very popular. Had the bacon wrapped meatloaf special, the chicken Borsch , and another chicken dish all very good

We so enjoyed our meal at Trattoria Bohemia! The food was outstanding (potato pancakes and chicken paprikash are a must!), but the service is really what stands out to me. Ruby was an exceptional server!! Shortly after we arrived, the place packed out with groups of people waiting at the door. There were only two servers and service was delayed - the attitudes of the servers made up for any errors. Ruby was kind, upbeat, and unfazed by the chaos. A true pro! Thank you for everything! We’ll be back anytime we are in Sacramento.

Such a great surprise to discover eastern Europe dishes there, such a treat! We loved the schnitzel and the Goulash, it was delicious. The pizza also was amazing. The quantities are very generous for an affordable price. I really recommend a visit when you are around.

Super special authentic place. Staff is incredibly kind and helpful in navigating the menu. We loved the Beef Goulash, Chicken Paprikash Pizza, and Chicken/Pork Schnitzel. A must try! Also don’t forget the apple strudel with ice cream for dessert.

This restaurant is a find. We loved it. The owner is great, the service is excellent and the food is unbelievably delicious! We had schnitzel and goulash. Very healthy portions, come hungry This! This is a must try! We took friends today and they LOVED IT!!!

First time at this restaurant, 10/10! My partner and I rode our bikes here and sat out front in their patio. We were immediately greatly by a friendly waitress. The menu had a ton of options, everything sounded good. I’ve never had Czech food before so this was a first. We started with the bread appetizer- which they bake fresh daily- so soft and yummy, with a balsamic garlic basil dipping sauce. We shared the beet and peaches salad with blueberry goat cheese- so much flavor. And we split the entree, Chicken paprikas: it was a dark chicken thigh dish with a creamy red sauce, and hungarian egg noodles and that was FANTASTIC. Perfect comfort food. Everything tasted fresh. I can’t wait to come back and try more.

Called this underwhelming my first time there, don’t remember what I got. I think I didn’t enjoy their bread dumplings. Their chicken paprikash over spaetzle was quite good, though a little bland.

Nice selection of Czech beers. Sadly they were out of my favorite Krušovice lager. Schnitzel and goulash were both rich and tasty. Kid menu ravioli was a hit with the kids. Not the largest portions, but nice to not over stuff. Sorbet dessert perfect ending.

We were passing by Sacramento and decided to stop by this highly rated restaurant for dinner. It was very easy to make a reservation and didn’t seem to be too busy on a Saturday evening. We ordered a few things and shared between the table: 1) Czech potato pancake (6/10): the pancake was crispy and nice, but I didn’t really enjoy the apple sauce on it. 2) Bohemian potato pancake (9/10): this was a great appetizer! Crispy pancake balances out with the sour cream and smoked salmon. Very delicious. 3) Chicken paprikash (8/10): this was overall really good. Chicken was nice and tender, sauce was well rounded - creamy with plenty of paprika and a hint of tomato, noodles were chewy. The portion was large, enough to feed 2 people. Overall we really liked this dish. 4) Beef goulash (3/10): this dish was really disappointing. The beef was tough, flavor was single dimensional, and it was definitely cold in the middle. We had a few bites and decided not to eat the rest. Overall I think the food was okay - some dishes better than others. However for this price, I would not come back again.

I've eaten here a couple of times. Always quite good. Nice, fun place that's atypical of what is around Sacramento. However, on Nov 21st, after I had seen a flyer of a special wine paring dinner, they seriously and utterly dropped the ball. I called to make a reservation as the flyer stated I was required to. I made the reservation and on the 23rd was called back by La Trattoria and was told by a young lady that they were "not accepting reservations for this special dinner." She went on about how it was first come first serve, and I pointed out the flyer stated reservations were required. She told me that was a mistake and that they were going to fix it. Fast forward to the Dec 9th, and I called on my way to the restaurant. I was informed they were closed to the public for a, get this, "RESERVATION Only" dinner. Great job. Love calling three weeks in advance to make a reservation, be told that I should have made reservations to have dinner. Appreciate the communication. Will not be returning after such poor customer service and no attention to detail.
