Superb Burger Fish & Chips

wow, what a great burger. generous sized patty, cooked perfectly. fresh crisp veggies on top. definitely better than the burgers at usual fast food chains.

We were so happily surprised by this place, we love fish and chips and were excited to try somewhere new. The pieces of fish are HUGE and we could tear them apart, they were very moist and tender. We also got the fried zucchini which was delicious. Definitely will come back here!

we went on mother's day because it it is close to green acres.. we were the only ones in the restaurant.. this was our second time eating at this location.. food was amazing and service was good

Have been patronizing this eatery for years. Haven't found any fish/chips place as good. Their frying oil always tastes fresh and clean. The place is clean and neat behind the counter and in the dining area. Can't comment on the burgers because I always get fish. Staff is friendly and wait time for my meal is usually under 10 minutes. Highly recommend.

And this one guy takes your food/drink order, knows the menu front to back, cooks thr food, bags it, answers the phones, and kicks out the bums. Tip him! Our food came put timely and tasty for my 6yr old and I. Environment is clean and modern. Definitely coming back! Thank you!

They have great food. I was able to call my order in and they didn't mess up one thing! Their rolls are yummy, they have steak fries and the ranch dressing is made fresh! Good prices and Tim's of options.

The fish was huge and battered just right. The prices were good. I highly recommend this place just look at the pictures they speak for themselves

I love the food here, it's so delicious. Now the service is the reason I'm not giving it 5 stars. A lady was in the back doing nothing but cutting fries and ignored me. When I asked her if she could help me she gave me attitude. She was so rude about it. I believe her name was Julie but I'm not sure. The young man that was cooking decided to help me and I felt so bad since he was busy making orders for tons of other guests. He was very kind and apologize to me for her rudeness and took my order. It will be because of him that I come back. Superb really needs to tell there staff to be kinder. I believe his name was Danny but again, not really sure

Best onion rings around! Even cold, they're good! (Leftovers; they were served hot). Veggie combo includes rings, mushrooms & zucchini, tempura style. Fries are plank/steak cut. Great with thousand island! Chicken strips have a nice crisp coating, not thick n icky like some other places. We've tried a variety of burgers. Avocado burger is yummy. Fish & prawns combo can feed two! Only bummer is no clam chowder. Service/wait time is hit or miss, but usually it's alright. Good daily deals; not on the menu, so you'd have to ask if calling in. Prices are competitive with similar places. Veggie combo... Yeah! That alone will keep me coming back.

I hadn't been here in almost 10 years. I no longer work in the area. The fish is still good and really flavorful. The only issue I had was when I bit into the Shrimp it had not been cleaned. I wasn't expecting that.

Place was meh. Employee on duty seemed irritated by my arrival. Food was low quality, greasy.

The food is always great here and tastes really good, only reason I'm giving them a 3 star is because it seems like every time I come in they have one dude working by himself. The dude is busting his butt and working very hard but when they get a rush this dude is struggling, he needs help! Y'all need to hire at least one more person to give this guy a breather! I'll continue to get food here cause I love the food but please hire at least one more person to help this guy out, I can see the stress in his face!

I was also shocked to see how big portions of the fried zucchini and onion rings were. Definitely worth the money. One thing I didn't enjoy was the breading of them both. The breading was a little too crunchy. Overall, I will go back and try other items on their menu.

Everything is overdone and dry, teriyaki chicken is like jerky, fries are crunchy and dry, calamari is only batter

The food from this place is utterly repulsive. The bottom bun of my chicken sandwich was soggy and disintegrated, the fried zucchini was also soaked and fell apart while I tried to eat it, the unsweetened iced tea soda machine nozzle was filthy. The price was way too high for the slop I was served; I would not eat their food again if they paid me. I honestly regret coming here. How this place has 4 star rating average, I have no idea...

This place was highly recommended to us, and when we came in the music was very loud and the man that was taking care of everything was not very nice. I would not recommend anyone else to come here. The music is not appropriate for family.

And when I saw her after handling money and other things then grabbed some raw fish with her bare hands, dipped it in some liquidity batter and put it the pan, then put her nasty hands in a a little bowl of water as if she washed her hands was absolutely disgusting 🤮 and unsanitary. She wore no food gloves and touching things and the food with her nasty hands. She’s a nasty cook, I had to pray that I didn’t get sick. From cross contamination practices.. I will never go there again the cook is absolutely nasty and needs to be professionally trained on proper food and safety sanitation practices.

Didnt get any condiments with my order Had 2 orders of lemon pepper wings didnt get any ranch. Had oresr of fries ordered curly fries no ketchup given or asked if we wanted any. Even saw a maggot on the floor crawling. Haven't been here in years this not how i remember it. Not coming back. Nope

He walked in from outside directly ahead of me and let the door go, then started taking orders without washing his hands and the way he talked to the woman in front of me was disgusting! The rudest I’ve seen in a long time. I hope the owner takes this to heart and does something about him!!!! I won’t be back!

Just got hung up on by the extremely miserable and rude guy who answered their phone.** Attention owner ** this guy said his name is Mike which I’m sure is lie, he is working 2/12/25 Wed at 4:40pm. We have been placing orders here over the phone for years and always take my cc over the phone for payment. He said he wouldn’t do this, then literally hung up on me, what??!!! lol really? who does this in customer service??!! I proceeded to call back and he wouldn’t answer! This small business just lost a $60 order, I can’t imagine you want someone like this working there! We won’t return, please hire better!

This place used to be great ! Especially their fish...it's been along time since I've been here & now I know I will not be going back 1. They had only one employee working and he came across kinda rude when we entered. 2. My wife's cheeseburger was dripping with their special sauce & it was not that good ! 3. Superb Burger Fish & Chips , 8399 Folsom Blvd., Suite No. 4, in Sacramento, had 13 violations on Tuesday (August 20, 2024). According to Sacramento County health inspectors, an employee did not wash their hands after handling raw foods and then touched other food and utensils. Multiple bags of meat were stored in a torn, reused bag inside an upright refrigerator, the report said. An employee was ordered to discard a container of milk after inspectors found meat drippings on top of it. “Potentially hazardous foods” including sliced beef, cheese, fish and shrimp were outside of proper holding temperatures. There were no paper towels in the dispenser at the hand wash sink near the food prep area. In addition, the women’s restroom was out of order. Inspectors observed “dark mold-like residue” on the ice machine, the report said, as well as old food debris, trash and grease accumulation on the floor, under cooking equipment and inside a refrigerator. Ready-to-serve foods were being stored below raw protein in an upright refrigerator at the time of inspection. Inspectors noted equipment in need of repair including an ice cream chest freezer and a large two-door upright freezer. Lastly, inspectors found an outdated health permit posted at the restaurant. As of Thursday afternoon, the restaurant had not been reinspected (August 22, 2024). I have eaten here in the recent past and found the food overpriced and subpar. The above is an official report and public record.

We traveled from out of town to attend the Sac State game on September 14. Upon entering, we were met by an employee who immediately began cursing and complaining about not having had a break. We watched as he aggressively tossed battered meat into hot grease, then he stomped over to the register and bluntly asked us, "What do you want?" Initially, I thought we had entered one of those restaurants known for their deliberately rude service, but after standing in stunned silence for what felt like an eternity, I realized his hostility was unwarranted. We asked if he was alright, but he just stared blankly into space. Eventually, we decided to leave and went to Pizza Guys next door. I did notice that after we left, an older woman walked in and then came out with food, so I guess he may have changed his attitude. I plan to contact the restaurant to inform the manager or owner about this incident.
