Like every year, my daughter and I have been coming to these places for wine and apples, both of which we always find to be of high quality. This time (reading reviews) we happened to stop at Baita Garba, and it was an excellent choice. We found a very beautiful place with plenty of seating in the garden and two indoor dining rooms where we ate really well. Good, well-prepared products. What else can I say except that the owners and staff were absolutely courteous and pleasantly attentive. Congratulations again. If/when I return, I will definitely stop by here to eat again (I have to "try" the trout).

A charming and welcoming place if you enjoy being surrounded by nature. My boyfriend and I ate at a table under a tree. Truly beautiful. The food is plentiful and truly delicious!! I could eat there every day! Highly recommended!

La Baita Garba è un vero e proprio paradiso naturale situato nel cuore dell’Alto Adige, a Salorno. Immersa in una cornice boschiva, offre un’esperienza di pace e tranquillità che è difficile da trovare altrove. I posti all’aperto sono ideali per chi ama la natura e le attività all’aria aperta, mentre il laghetto delle trote è un punto di riferimento per gli appassionati di pesca. La baita stessa è costruita con cura, rispettando l’ambiente circostante e fornendo un’atmosfera accogliente e rilassante. La cucina è incentrata su ingredienti freschi e locali, garantendo pasti deliziosi che soddisfano il palato e il cuore. In sintesi, la Baita Garba è perfetta per coloro che cercano un ritiro rurale senza rinunciare alle comodità moderne. È un luogo dove si può rilassare, godersi la natura e creare ricordi indimenticabili.

Vado a mangiare alla baita garba da più di vent'anni; il suo fascino rimane invariato nel tempo come il servizio, che è sempre cordiale e ti fa sentire a casa, nonostante siamo in sudtirol e gli italiani non sono visti di buon occhio. Il menù invariato nella forma è sempre buono e racconta con i colori ed i sapori la tradizione Trentina e sudtirolese. Nota negativa il conto. Ma voglio dire due parole a riguardo; Siamo in Alto Adige dunque i prezzi sono più alti rispetto al resto d'Italia. Nel 2005 la mitica padella del contadino tra i 12 e 15 €. Vuoi l'inflazione, vuoi la guerra in Ucraina, vuoi la crisi economica, ed altri 1000 Fattori, in vent'anni il prezzo è aumentato di quasi 10€. Detto questo tra i locali che conosco a Salorno, rimarrà il mio preferito.

Locale a conduzione familiare, situato fra i vigneti e, a 5 km dal castello di Salorno, lontano dal traffico facilmente raggiungibile e, con un ampio parcheggio è possibile consumare un buon pasto e bere una buona birra (cucina sempre aperta dalle 11:00 alle 19:00) immerso nel verde, infatti gran parte dei tavoli sono disposti sotto gli alberi, non a caso questo locale è aperto solo nel periodo estivo, dispone anche di un piccolo laghetto artificiale che costituisce da piccola riserva di pesci (trote) uno fra i piatti presenti nel menu trota alla mugnaglia. Il piatto tipico è la padella del contadino, non vi sono scale all'esterno quindi è accesibile anche a disabili, diversamente per i servizi igienici che non sono adatti a persone con disabilita, niente WiFi. I prezzi sono in linea con il resto della ristorazione della zona.

Locale immerso nel fresco verde con piccolo laghetto artificiale con dentro trote dove si può mangiare sia al chiuso che all'aperto. Menù vario con prezzi nella media. Ampio parcheggio.

Locale all'aperto, con piatto tipico la trota di allevamento. Menù variegato con piatti anche di cucina tirolese e ottimi dolci. Consigliato il Piatto Garba con trota, carne, patate saltate e verdure cotte. Prezzo nella media. Caratteristico laghetto e zona molto ombrosa, luogo fresco in estate. Sala coperta in caso di maltempo. Consigliata la prenotazione. Ideale per famiglie con bambini. Cani accettati con guinzaglio. Apertura stagionale da Pasqua ai Santi.

Ristorante caratteristico per il bel giardino col laghetto delle trote, tavoli all'aperto sotto gli alberi...praticamente pranzi in mezzo alla natura. Piatti buoni prezzo nella norma.

Dinner with the family, from aperitif to coffee. Everything was excellent, well-prepared, and plentiful. Good service, friendly staff, and an excellent value: around €27 per person! Oh! I almost forgot: a complimentary digestif at the end... absolutely recommended!

Incredibile place! Located in the outskirts of Salorno right in the middle of the nature.The quality of food and service is fantastic. Apart of so many other items the speciality of this place are fresh trouts. They have even a tiny artificial lake for fish farming. Highly recommended for those who are looking for a unique experience.

Fish is definitely worth it (if fresh)! In my opinion the other dishes are to be avoided mainly because overpriced. The service is great - the guys quick and helpful. Location awesome with tranquil atmosphere in the green. Side dishes are small; there's a bag of white bread (free of charge) on the table.

The welcome was unwelcoming, almost brusque, in a sheltered, verdant, and pleasantly cool corner of the Adige Valley. The trout pond was lovely, and the overall summer setting was pleasant. The food was mediocre, the dessert wasn't homemade, and everything seemed a bit defrosted.

Locale aperto in pieno giorno, ci fanno accompagnare per poi dirci che la cucina ha chiude che hanno deciso di chiudere e basta. Ore 15.. chiusura indicata h 21 8 ottobre, chiusa indicata 31 ottobre! No comment

⭐☆☆☆☆ Disappointing experience at Baita Garba At the end of August, I returned for lunch at Baita Garba, where I used to go as a child with my family. Unfortunately, the good memories weren't enough: the experience was disappointing in several ways. We hadn't booked (there were two of us), and despite there being free tables outside (probably reserved for those who booked or already reserved), we were seated in the indoor dining room. Some deficiencies were immediately apparent: of the three occupied tables, only one had bread (and it wasn't ours), no salt and pepper, just a tablecloth and glasses with napkins inserted. They came to take our orders and told us there was a wait for the food, but they didn't specify how long it would be. We ordered drinks, which arrived shortly afterward: a grilled trout and a "Baita Garba" dish. After about half an hour, my dish arrived. At first glance, it looked well-prepared, but it was incomplete: the trout was missing. When I asked, the waiter replied that it would be served separately, but in the meantime, my other order hadn't arrived. Honestly, if I'd realized the dish included a whole trout, I would have chosen something else. The meat alone was sufficient; with the trout, it was too much, more like a dish for two people than for one. I started eating, but stopped shortly afterward to wait for my companions' dishes to arrive, so we could eat together. My dish got cold. After about 15 minutes, the grilled trout arrived, but the skin was black and burned, and when I filleted it, pieces of fish remained attached. Just as I was almost finished with my dish, the trout arrived, whole. So I found myself eating it alone, without any side dishes, because I had already finished the potato and vegetable dish. From the photos online, which I looked at later, you can see the complete dish with the meat and the trout. In conclusion: we ate, but not well. The service was poorly managed: orders should be brought to the table together, so that diners can eat at the same time and not in multiple sessions, and perhaps pay more attention to the service. Too bad: I wanted to relive the good memories and make a good impression, but it wasn't to be. I don't think I'll ever go back.
