A very nice bar located near the first cable car heading to the 13 lakes. I stopped in because it had suddenly turned cloudy and started raining, and the temperature had dropped to 7 degrees Celsius in the middle of August (the 14th, to be precise). As soon as I entered, I felt a satisfying warmth and ordered a hot chocolate for €3. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and they noticed I was cold and lit the fireplace for me. There is both indoor and outdoor seating.

With a reservation in the morning, recommended especially on weekends, we had lunch at this lovely, traditional mountain restaurant. The beautiful day allowed us to sit on the spacious outdoor terrace, where the tables are shaded by numerous umbrellas. From the typical mountain menu, we tried a mixed platter, excellent, especially the cheeses, followed by a vegetable flan with fondue, baked potatoes, and a plate of polenta concia, all delicious. The service was very friendly, even though there was a slight wait due to the large number of diners. The bill was good, although the platter was perhaps a couple of euros overpriced, but its quality made it easy to overlook this impression. We ate a good lunch while enjoying the wonderful view.

The food has improved greatly over the years: fortunately, they've recently offered a selection of traditional local appetizers, first courses, and second courses. The quality is average, but it definitely has potential. The place is still charming, even after 17 years of commuting on skis or in hiking boots!

The polenta concia and the potato stew were really good, and the apple and cinnamon cake was pretty good too, I must admit. It's the perfect spot to enjoy some healthy rest and an exceptional view on a tiring day of skiing in Prali.

It's my first time climbing the 13 lakes. My friend, who knows the locals, and I took a circular tour to see all the lakes and everything else that was historical, a lasting reminder of the wartime past. On our return from our hike, we stopped at the Capannina to finally take a break we hadn't had during the hike. We ate and drank something while sitting outside in the sun. A stunning view opened up before us from the balcony, a truly peaceful experience. The staff was friendly, helpful, and attentive. I will definitely be back.

The fantastic location and magnificent view certainly contribute to the positive review... regardless, it's still a welcoming and informal place! Good value. It's the perfect place (aside from the fact that it's the only one near the chairlifts) to refuel before or after any activity you choose to do on site.

A day characterized by violent gusts of wind mixed with snow, everything was frozen and on the ground not a grain of salt or gravel, it was the saga of the tumble especially for the little ones, and thank goodness otherwise you know the femurs ... the important thing is to make money, the rest ... Light and shade on a Sunday at the end of the year. The self-service menu is incomplete, with some prices incomplete, but above all, the portions are inadequate... Does a ladleful make a plate of polenta concia? Acceptable quality, but not noticeable, with no reference to local products. The rustic interior is pleasant, but the outside is better for the view and the terrace. If the Lanzo Valleys have much to learn from this entrepreneurial spirit (slopes and restaurants), here we have something to learn (the good things) from the Aosta Valley or Trentino...
