The dishes are delicious and varied, and I love that they offer a comal option, as they bring the food (like tacos, quesadillas, and chalupas) freshly cooked right to your table. Every time I go, I take the opportunity to try something new. The service is excellent; the waiters and hostesses greet you and serve you with kindness. Olla de Barro is a good option for large groups. There's live music, so the atmosphere is very relaxed.
Excellent place to eat a variety of food. Be patient, as it can take a while to get a table. We went on a Saturday around 10 am and it took us 10 to 15 minutes to be seated. They have their own parking lot, but there's also parking nearby. Their traditional Mexican coffee (café de olla) is the best, and the staff is very attentive despite the high volume of customers, which is normal for this type of establishment.
Wonderful place. Punctual when it starts. You'll be warmly greeted by the staff and seated at one of the tables. Arrive early because the place fills up almost immediately. The food is 10/10 (the tamales weren't the best, but everything else more than makes up for it). The price is very reasonable for the delicious food, the friendly service, and the wonderful atmosphere, complete with live music. Highly recommended for breakfast before exploring the streets of Cholula.
The chalupas were delicious, as were the stews, and the service was very friendly and fast. Unfortunately, I only got cold coffee, which was the only downside. Something I did like was that they constantly refill the dishes as they run out. The bread is very tasty, and the blue corn atole is also delicious. There's a line for the restroom, but they have ample parking.
Review from Sunday, November 2, 2025. It's a very good buffet of Puebla-style food. On Sundays, they offer mole de panza (tripe mole). They have a variety of dishes with 100% homemade seasoning: chicharrón salsa, mole poblano, potatoes with chorizo, fried tacos, tostadas, tamales, atole (a hot corn-based drink), and champurrado (a thick, hot chocolate drink), as well as a comal (griddle) service with mini quesadillas and chalupas poblanas (a type of chalupa). The place is very pleasant and has complimentary parking for about 21 vehicles. As for the service, the servers are attentive at all times, especially Michelle and Jonathan. They accept cash and cards, except American Express. It's a great option for going with the family.
The place and the service were delicious. I suggest arriving early or making a reservation. We arrived at 9:30, and there were already several cars waiting to get in. A good point is that there's a parking lot, but there are also parking meters outside. There was live music, and the saxophonist was very good; that was one of the things we liked.
If you want to spend a pleasant time with your family, eat delicious food at a good price, this place is an excellent choice. Personally, I'm afraid to try new places because they often end up being bad, but this place left me very satisfied, along with the excellent service from the staff. I definitely recommend it.
The place is spacious, with a variety of food. There's a griddle area where you can order and have it prepared fresh. The seasoning is good, and the important point is that the stews aren't spicy. The parking lot is large, but you might not get a spot and have to find somewhere to park your car. There's a special price for the birthday boy or girl!
Very good
Nice buffet of Mexican food, open air, beautiful plates and cups. Cafe de olla was delicious
We went for lunch on Sunday, and while it was busy, the good thing is that it has parking, and while you wait for your table, you can use the bar. The wait was 10 minutes, which didn't seem like much at all; very friendly for a Sunday. We ordered chalupas and cochinita tacos from the griddle, in addition to everything else on the buffet. Don't miss the red pozole ❤️. We enjoyed some very pleasant live music (saxophone).
A couple of blocks from the center of San Andrés Cholula, it has parking. The staff was very friendly. The flavor is not the best but it is not bad either. There are around 10 dishes, the best is the coffee in a pot, believe it or not... there is flavored water. When I went there was orange, mango, and Jamaica water. There are chilaquiles, red pozole, chalupitas, mini chicharrón quesadillas, squash blossom, mushrooms. There were two and three dishes of stews. The place is nice, there was a guy playing the guitar. In general, it is a good place for breakfast, although it lacks a little seasoning, but it is acceptable.
It's a nice pleasant place to eat. The food was ok, it wasn't bad but not the best in the area. One of the Conchas I ate was stale. My favorite part was the agua frescas, they had Jamaica, mango and pepino when we were there. The staff was very attentive with us.
Reviewed October 2025. Buffet restaurant located a few blocks from Cholula's main square. They have their own parking for at least 15 vehicles. 10/10 service, outdoor facilities, and a roof to avoid the sun. The menu is buffet-style, with varying prices depending on the day. They have stews, appetizers, and a small bar with Americano coffee, café de olla, and two varieties of atole. The chilaquiles and stews are delicious; however, the tamales and mini pancakes are undercooked, the sausages have a bitter aftertaste, they don't provide tortillas or bread to eat the stew, and the atoles are cold. They have live music, which is very enjoyable. The facilities are clean. Cash and credit card payments are accepted.
Below average food. No thanks .
