Had a short wait to be seated but not bad, they were pretty busy. Our server, Sam, was excellent. Wife and I both had steak, and I had shrimp as well. We were both quite pleased with our meals. Food was cooked perfectly and we'll seasoned.
Wife and I finally came in for our first formal dining experience at the new Longhorn Steakhouse. I had the bar set high based on the other stores I have been to before. Safe to say they met my expectations. Fast seating, kind staff start to end. Our server Kiera was especially kind and helpful. Tip: Come before 630 to beat the dinner rush crowd we saw building up as we left. Here's the run down of what we got: Mine: 14 oz 7-pepper NY strip with steamed broccoli. Truly Amazing!😋 A perfect medium and 10/10 on flavor on every bite. Wife: Parmasean crusted chicken w/ loaded baked potato. Moist and tender chicken, spot on salt crusted baked tater, generous portion of each. 10/10 score.
We had a great experience at LongHorn Steakhouse! The food was delicious — our steaks were cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The sides were fresh, and everything came out hot and timely. The atmosphere was comfortable and inviting, and the restaurant was very clean. Our server, Serena S was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without feeling rushed. Overall, a wonderful dining experience — we’ll definitely be coming back!
Me and my bf went here to celebrate his bday a day early and we LOVED it. The price is up there but for good reason. Everything was delicious from the bread to the sides and everything in between. The stuffed mushrooms were our app and it was soooo good. Gage was our waiter and was very helpful in helping us choose things. We will definitely be back to try more things on the menu!
We ate here two nights in a row while staying in San Angelo. The steaks were cooked perfectly both times to medium and medium rare. There was a wait each night - a Monday and Tuesday- as it appears to be popular or people trying as the location recently opened.
I’ve now been to this LongHorn Steakhouse location twice, and both experiences were excellent. The first visit was just my wife and me. I ordered the Parmesan Crusted Chicken, and she had the sirloin. Her steak was cooked perfectly to order, and my chicken was absolutely delicious. We also tried the Brisket Queso appetizer, which I highly recommend—it was outstanding. A few days later, we returned to celebrate my grandmother’s 87th birthday. She loves shrimp but only fried. Although fried shrimp isn’t listed on the menu, our waitress kindly checked with the kitchen, and they were happy to accommodate. My grandmother was thrilled! That night, I had the Chicken Fried Steak with mashed potatoes, gravy, and rice pilaf—everything was cooked to perfection. My wife ordered the Parmesan Chicken this time and loved it just as much as I did. Both visits, the service was friendly, attentive, and professional. The staff made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. My wife and I have visited several LongHorn Steakhouse locations in different cities and states, and the San Angelo location absolutely lives up to the brand’s reputation for great food and great service. Even though it’s a newer location, the wait times haven’t been bad—about 20 minutes on a Sunday afternoon. Overall, this is a fantastic restaurant with quality food, attentive service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend! Disclaimer: I failed to get pictures of the food on the visit with my grandmother!
I know live in the DFW area. To come back home to Angelo and have a great place like Longhorn Steakhouse to eat at since Zentlers or Zentliers Daughter's is fantastic! Please ask for Sam! He's is a great server! Very attentive!
My husband and I came for our anniversary dinner and the staff absolutely blew our expectations!! Our waitress was amazing (Shay I believe was her name!) and the manager even came out to personally to apologize about my husbands steak (not the restaurants fault AT ALL!! He just wanted to try something different and didn’t like it) and they offered to comp the meal, gave us a discount and we got a delicious dessert! We will definitely be coming back and hope to have have the same waitress every time! Everything came out at a timely manner, everything was perfect!!
It was our first time trying the new LongHorn in San Angelo, TX, and it was a great experience. We have Paige as our waitress and she was phenomenal! There was a delay with our appetizer and overcooked steaks but she was on it with getting the manager, Jay, and taking care of us. Paige was friendly and attentive. Best waitress we’ve had in a while! Jay, the manager was also great! She came by to see how we were doing and what happened with our order. She was down to earth and friendly. She even gave us a free dessert for our troubles. All in all, even with some issues, this was a great first impression of LongHorn and this location.
Amazing experience. Our server, Cathryn, was incredibly pleasant and attentive. Really enjoyed her. The shrimp appetizer was killer, every drink and food item tasted wonderful. We were appreciative of the portion size, and price was fair. Also noteworthy, the restaurant was very clean. I hope they keep it up because we really enjoyed the place. Can’t wait to go back!
The food was great, service was great. First time visiting and the place looked great. The restaurant was a little chilly!
It was the grand opening so we decided to give this place a shot and we were shocked! The ambience there was nothing short of amazing and you knew immediately when you walked in, that you were in the great state of Texas! The waiter was professional, friendly, and well knowledgeable of the menu. The food was sent from the heavens above! The chefs are experienced and they delivered! We enjoyed everything from the wait to exiting the building and its safe to say, we will see you all again! Bravo! Bravo!
Felt welcome as soon as we walked in. We went at opening and there was a line. We were seated and shown the high points of the menu. We ordered strawberry lemonade. They are good but very very sweet. Bread was complimentary while we waited for our orders. The ambiance is nice with a western flair. The music is not too loud which was great. The food took a good while to come out. I would call it a extended wait time for the food. It was swell seasoned and hot. The steaks were pretty good. Parmesan chicken was excellent. The desserts are big enough to share. Overall good experience.
Great atmosphere and service. The food tasted great. At the time that we went there wasn’t a long wait. I would definitely recommend coming here!
I was traveling for work, and recommended to try the firecracker chicken wraps. They was a lot of delicious sounding appetizers, I would love to go back for. I got the Sirloin parmesan crusted and it was awesome. The server was wonderful and very engaging. I wish I had one of these closer to me.
We waited about a month after the grand opening just so it wouldn’t be so busy but we still had to wait about 30 minutes for a table to become available. The atmosphere is really upscale and welcoming. The prices were a little higher than I expected but of course with the cost of everything going up it was to be expected. Our server was very friendly and helpful however I think she was also still trying to learn the menu. We ordered our food but when I got my ribeye it was not cooked medium well. I asked the server to confirm if I did indeed request medium well or if I said Medium. I did in fact ask for medium well. She said she could take it back to be redone and I said yes. Especially cause I can’t eat a rare bloody steak. Call me weird but if I wanted a red bloody steak I’d just walk out into a pastor and take a bite straight from the source, a living cow. Eww! Anyway, once my steak was cooked longer, another lady which i’m guessing was a manager brought my steak and asked me to check it. I did and it was ok, not exactly to my liking but I told her it was just so I wouldn’t be that “customer”. And mind you the entire time she was standing there with a look of annoyance and even had the audacity to roll her eyes when I told her it was good! Come on! Really? you’re a manager and your job is to make sure your paying customers are happy with their meal so they can keep coming back for more. Unfortunately after this one and only visit, my family and I will not be coming back to this location. I will say that my favorite and so far, the best steakhouse here San Angelo is the one and only, Texas Roadhouse!
I spent I total $178 With my family. I ordered the steak and it was mediocre at best. The flavoring was off and I ordered medium well and it was a medium. I don’t complain, but I had better experience at Texas Roadhouse. My sides came with an asparagus, and that was just really chewy and too much salt on it. I also ordered the baked potato and it wasn’t anything wow about it. Honestly, I’m really disappointed. I expected like a high-end restaurant with high-end food and I could’ve stayed home and made this food myself. Maybe I’m spoiled by Texas roadhouse but, the food was OK at best. The only thing I could say was good was the chocolate cake. I highly recommend it was so good. My family also ordered similar food and they also were not impressed. I give the food a 2 out of 5. As for the staff, they were very friendly, but you had to wait for a good minute On ordering stuff and getting your meal to you. Which is understandable they were very busy. They had a lot of customers. 3 out of 10 As for the atmosphere, it was just really loud. There was a lot of people and you did have to wait to be seated when I went. Which is also understandable Because they were packed. 2 Out of 10 And in the words of Keith Lee, this is only my opinion. Y’all are more than welcome to support them And try it out for yourself. And of course God bless.
Lots of recommendations on improvements, I think they should have waited longer to open and give time to train and retrain as staff leaves. Corporations are so quick to make a dollar by throwing their brand name on a building and charge $25 for a “Longhorn Steakhouse” sirloin steak that can easily be confused with a bag of beef jerky. I am sorry I can’t give a review on my Chicken Fried Steak because I got a Chicken Fried Chicken instead but it was pretty good I shared it with my daughter and I finished the beef jerky I mean sirloin. Their sweet tea is good also so I can give 2 stars for the Chicken Fried Chicken and sweet tea. The servers were overwhelmed and spent more time running back and forth, they need to learn to work together, as well as, training and so do the cooks on how to cook a steak.
Best part was the bread 🍞 tone down the salt.
We were really looking forward to trying this place, especially since it’s only their second day open. Our experience was disappointing and I’ve previously been to a Longhorn in Arizona with better service. After being seated, the table that arrived after us was attended to before we were. It took over 10 minutes before our server came by and that was only because I approached the GM to notify them. When the server Elena arrived, she seemed very flustered and inexperienced during our time there. Throughout the meal, the service felt rushed and lacking. In the middle of eating, we were unexpectedly handed to go boxes and a bag with a “no rush” comment even though we hadn’t asked for the check or shown any sign of being done. Desserts weren’t offered, which left the meal feeling incomplete. At this point I was ready to leave. When we asked for a correction on our check due to an error, it took so long that the server forgot about it when she passed our table again. Another issue was the temperature in the restaurant. It was cold, to the point where I noticed several other guests crossing their arms tightly or even sitting on their hands to stay warm. It made the environment less enjoyable. Surprisingly my husband mentioned it being cold as well which is rare. I understand it’s only the second day and there are growing pains, but between the service delays, mistakes, and the uncomfortable atmosphere, the overall experience didn’t meet expectations. Really wouldn’t recommend. Go to Texas Roadhouse instead.
Waited over 20 minutes past the promised order time in curbside. Called and they left me on hold, someone finally came out several minutes later. They did not apologize or offer any explanation. It wasn’t even busy. Worse yet, they over cooked my steak. they gave me a well-done steak that was extremely dry. Been here multiple times and they continually mess up on food and never get food out on time. Bad service, inconsistent food. Take your business elsewhere.
hour and half wait had to get seated. Had to get two separate tables and the hostess didn't communicate to the waitress the two tables were together. ordered drinks and had to remind staff that we still had not received those drinks after some time. Ordered burgers medium rare just to have them come out raw. This restaurant is all over the place, too many waitresses in training maybe after some time they can get it together right now though, not worth it.
Waitress was nice and attentive, seating was fairly quick for our family of 6. Food was not up to expectations, brisket queso was too salty and my chicken fried steak fell apart and was bland. Disappointed since we’ve been excited to come try this restaurant.
Food was not great, it was edible but not great at all....I've been to the location in Texarkana and that place the food was great.
Did not get a chance to experience the restaurant. Checked in and was told it would be 15 minutes.. 30 minutes later we find out we were removed from the list. No call out, no text message, no notification of any kind.
Food too salty, service was not good! Restaurant needs new management after I over heard the hispanic manager yell & belittle a waitress right in front of our table. Was able to get the Managers 1st name- LETTY!!!! I felt so bad for that waitress 😏
So excited to try the food since it’s a new restaurant to Angelo. Got sat pretty quickly but not the friendliest staff. Quiet and unwelcoming. Once my family and I got sat we were not acknowledged. Sat for awhile before leaving the building. Mind you it wasn’t a busy Sunday. Very disappointed.
We strolled in around 1230ish, not super busy by any means.. were told 15 minute wait, despite the obvious open tables that could be spotted from the parking lot. So we wait, 25 minutes later a short lady asks if we were waiting for take out??? Clearly they need to separate that section to avoid confusion. So we get seated at the bar finally, 10 more minutes before we get a waiter/waitress. Drinks take another while to get, refill, suffice to say I hope you're not thirsty. We order the onion petal appetizer, no signature sauce, guess they forgot to make it. Their seasoning is described as "bold" uhh, no it's called SALTY! we ordered two salads, the ones with steak and one salmon. Never got them or I'd have included pics. We were in house over an hour, with no food. People who came in way after us, didn't seem to have an issue getting their plates. We cancelled our remaining order, paid for the drinks and left.. still hungry. Long story boring.. this was our first and absolute last visit to this longhorn steakhouse and looking forward to it closing it's doors. Customer service, integrity, pride, all have failed to be delivered. Management and owners alike should be embarrassed. Do yourself a favor and GO ANYWHERE ELSE!
