This was my first time here. I don't know how I have missed this place all these years. Burger was fantastic and it was really fast to get our food. I'll have to come back with the kids as the outdoor area looked like a nice place for them to play.

The food is a little pricey, but that's because the servings here are huge. You'll definitely be leaving this place feeling full! The hamburgers and fries are delicious, and they have many different hamburgers and ways that you can have them prepared. They also have a nice outdoor seating area to go with their indoor seating area, and a field for people to run around and play in.

Expensive but burger Patties were very thick and tasty. My 10 year old will go with a single instead of double cheeseburger next time. Will eat here again if I’m back in town.

I love this place, I really want a branch in Austin area. Great meat for the burgers, great atmosphere, great service. Price according to the quality of the food. The restrooms can be cleanest.

Went there for a retirement party, pretty good. I wish the food was a little warmer. Can't really complain it was a party of close to 100 people. The food was really good otherwise. Will most likely come back.

It was a beautiful to enjoy the outside seating while listening to some live music. Plenty of space for the kids to go off and play.

I went to Big’z Birguer Joint because a friend told me about this place so I decided to give a try. The main thing that I loved is the quality of the meat! It’s delicious and truly unique. The fries are good and the place it’s big enough to take large groups of people or share a bench with a friend. If you go to SA, this is a must try.

In the Top 5 for Hamburgers in S.A. It's a simple place- they make hamburgers and they do it incredibly well. The portions are huge, the fries are hot and well-seasoned, and they have cool specialty aioli sauces to add the extra to your burger. They have selections of beer and wine making this the perfect Sunday afternoon hang out. The place is extremely family friendly with long picnic style tables inside and white butcher paper tablecloths you can color on. The real pull is the outdoor space covered with umbrella covered tables, and a huge green space covered in artificial turf and supplied with athletic balls for kids (and adults) to run around and play. So bring the kids, settle in, and enjoy your meal while they run out all that energy. Their kids meal options are also perfect for picky eaters. The place occasionally hosts live bands as well and I believe has rental space for small or large parties. While I just lunch there, if I ever needed a great, large space for a casual event or birthday party, this would be high on my list.

First time and it definitely won't be my last time. Best cooked the way I asked, fresh veggie toppings, toasted buns, big juicy 100% beef patty that was actually cooked the way I asked and loaded with great flavor (but not to the point to where seasoning overpowered the flavor of great quality beef) burger I've had in a long time. Definitely will be returning for another in the near future!! Mmm Mmm Mmm 😋

Creative delicious fresh burgers. 🍔 I highly recommend the homemade chips and asked for them ahead so you could snack on them while waiting for your meal. on the weekends, you need to get a crowd good luck finding a parking space and you’ll wait forever for your food. My kids like the Chalupa burger chicken tenders. They have gluten-free buns that are really good and fresh as well as like pretzel buns and other cool things to elevate your burger. I also highly recommend the salad. It’s super fresh and really good. They have sweet potato fries if that’s your jam. Speaking of jam they also have tons of different sauces and spreads. They serve beer and wine and milkshakes brownies and cookies so basically anything if you want to be naughty.

Looking for a new burger place found this place on google so decided to give it a try. Very friendly staff lots of options i decided to go with the double. After only a few minutes i got my order... let me tell you this burger is huge!!! It had two huge strips of bacon on it. It was delicious while the fries were nothing special the burger nor than made up for it...i am stuffed and satisfied i will go back!!

Place is amazing! I was really impressed with how fast our food came out given there was an entire soccer team that showed up. The staff there is a well oiled machine. Come hungry. Beastly half pound burgers with somehow even bigger burger buns that are still too big for the burger. Even more amusing is they place the toppings on the side (Let, Tom, Pic), the amount they give looks as if they would fit on a kids burger. Food tasted good though. After church a buddy and I wanted burgers for lunch. We had been to Big'z Burger Joint many times over the years and always had a good experience . They even ask how thoroughly you want yours cooked. I ordered mine Medium, but next time I will ask for Medium Well. They advertise their single to be a half pound so I considered that sufficient. They also offer a double for those more adventurous souls. They offer it as a combo meal with a soft drink small fry for $3.99. Since a drink by itself is $2.99 the combo is a value. I ordered my burger with optional Swiss cheese ($1.29), optional beer-braised onions ($0.99), and optional sauteed mushrooms ($1.79). Altogether the total was $17.92 including $1.37 taxes. The burger and bun were so big that I cut mine into quarters. Eating this way eliminated me getting messy. The burger was very tasty. The fries were hot and crisp on the outside, soft on the inside. They also offered Hunt's all natural ketchup, which I prefer over Heinz. They have plenty of seats available with plenty of long tables. Ideal for large gatherings. They provide ketchup, mustard and a roll of paper towels at each table and have a floating busboy always ready to take away the dirty trays and waste. My buddy and I each had a satisfying meal. Big'z doesn't disappoint!

Original location off 1604/huebner is fantastic. Quick service, floor attendants are very quick turning over tables and picking up trays. Food is very good and has nice portions. Love the chocolate shakes. Would recommend for celebrating milestones or end of the year fun. Tons of space!

Great visit to the 1604 location! I know me n my buddy were the first ones there, and I guess the kitchen crew was ready to go cuz I had one of the juiciest burgers I've ever had!! Every bite, I had to wipe the edges of my mouth and watch out for juiciness ...ohhh man, it was good! They went to town with the jalapeños and bacon, the fries were so crisp and the onio rings are good, although I always thing they're missing a little umph..🤷‍♂️ But all in all, I couldn't have asked for a better lunch. My buddy made one of the best mistakes you could make and ordered a double (1 lb) thinking they were 1/4 lbers... I too made that great mistake once..🤤 BIG'Z NEVER DISAPPOINTS!

I tried the chalupa burger and it was excellent. A giant 1/2 lb burger cooked to medium rare perfection which sat atop a crispy tortilla topped with cheese, refried beans and Pico de Gallo all in a perfect bun. The fries were excellent as well, crispy on the outside and soft and potatoey on the inside. I will definitely be back.

I have celiac disease, and finding restaurants that actually make you feel like they are confident with food allergies is rare. The guy(i think was the manager) made me feel well taken care of and my family and I absolutely loved the food. 10 out of 10. We will remember to come back when in San Antonio again. They have gluten free buns and you can safely eat the FRIES ❤️❤️

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 I stopped by Biggs, BIG, Apostrophe V, Burger Joint in San Antonio and ordered the single bacon cheeseburger with fries and a large drink. They do have great lunch specials for $9.99, but I had my eye on that single burger — and it did NOT disappoint! I got it on Texas toast, and wow… it was incredibly good. The burger was juicy, the bacon was perfect, and the fries were fresh and hot. I enjoyed it so much that my daughter saw my sandwich and immediately asked me to bring one home for her. Amazing food, great portions, and definitely a place I’ll be coming back to. Highly recommend!

Food was fantastic. Great burgers and fries! Staff was excellent. Our server trip over a loose board but was able to save our order without dropping a single thing. They came out and put a cone over the area so no one else would trip Everyone was super friendly. Great place to eat!

There is always a bit of a wait to order, especially if people are ordering alcohol while in line but the food comes out great. I ordered a single medium with provolone cheese and a Chicago dog; both were delicious. The meat was very juicy and cooked well. Restaurant was very clean and staff excellent.

If you want choice burgers this is the place to go. They have many options and you can tailor the additions as you wish. I got a single meat patty with Swiss cheese and avocado. I made it a combo and drink and fries were included. The meat patty is cooked to your preference and this is a thick patty. They put the lettuce, tomatoes, pickles on the side. The burger and fries were excellent. They have seating inside and outside. Outside they also have a good sized playground for kids. Staff were helpful and friendly. Overall great place for burgers and relaxing environment for dining with family.

Overall this is a great burger joint and I will be returning again. Starting with my burger, I got a single with American cheese cooked medium. Burger was perfectly cooked and let me tell you about that BUN! My goodness it was perfectly out together and that is what I can a fantastic American Burger. Next my friend ordered the Rodeo special. It was a great size patty, juicy, crispy bacon, and crunchy onion rings with a twist of bbq sauce! Also had someone who ordered the Mexican Vanilla milkshake and as a self-proclaimed vanilla expert, she highly recommends this milk shake. Next let’s get into the service. Super friendly, prompt and caring. Loved the customer service here. Eat here!

This is a good place to grab a burger and let the kids run around. I visited on a Sunday and was surprised that they only had one TV to watch football in their dining area. I would recommend they add a few more tvs to comfortably allow customers to watch the game. We enjoyed the sweet potato fries and onion rings. There isn't much of a variety, so plan on eating burgers.

The burgers, fries, onion rings were good a bit pricey $32.00 for 2 burgers one order of onion rings and fries and 2 drinks, but I would go back. I loved there pickles and it was a nice environment

The food was good, everything is a la carte so it can shoot up your bill fairly quickly if you're not careful. We were there for a party and we were definitely crushed in. The bathrooms were dirty, the baby changing station in particular was horrible. It was very hot in there and had broken ceiling fans where we were seated. They had some floor fans going but the problem was, they also allow dogs in the restaurant, and in our case a woman literally walked her husky in front of the fan to cool him off, and that dogs hairs flew all over the place and directly to our table where we were eating. So you can imagine how upsetting that was because now we're hot, sweaty and full of dog hairs! Don't get me wrong, I love dogs but I believe the restaurant needs to have a clear policy of where they are not allowed to take their dogs. It's a family atmosphere and there is outdoor seating so it's a nice place, but this location needs serious upgrades to their AC system and fans, and better upkeep of their bathrooms, until then, I sadly cannot recommend this location.

The food was good. Good burgers and chicken sandwiches. The fries were also tasty. I’ve wouldn’t say it’s the best burgers I’ve had, but they’re decent. If you don’t like rowdy kids, you’ll want to avoid it. There were a lot of large parties and a huge lawn with kids playing. My kids enjoyed it and it was a good time for them.

If you like a relaxed atmosphere with delicious burgers, this is a place you should try. Only downside is that the burgers are a but pricey for not including cheese or any fixin’s like bacon, mushrooms or jalapeños. Still, the meat is quality and everything is fresh. A four star stop for sure.

Got the triple with mushroom, bacon and swiss, food was great. We did have a reservation for a birthday party but when we got there, there were people in mid meal at 2 of our tables. The employees still made accomodations and got us another section. Besides that issue everything else was enjoyable.

I ordered the #1 because i'm not big on burgers. My iron is low though..... so I wanted it! I added a gluten free bun, Pepper jack cheese, grilled onions, and a side of jalapenos. The total came to $18 with fries and a drink. Yeesh. The onions were more sauteed than grilled. The burger though.....amazing! Fries were ok, nothing special, but they have ice pellets for the ice selection-heaven! If ever in San Antonio again, I'll come by!

The burgers are huge they definitely do not skimp on the toppings. We also had onion rings and they were on point . There is a field for kids to run around and play and there were a bunch of kids out there. Would recommend and go back for sure again. Oh the Serrano Ranch 💣💣💣

Great burger place. The inside is well maintained and the staff is super friendly. A bit pricey but you get your money's worth. Overall a fantastic time as a must try place.

Stopped in for lunch and had a few burgers. Atmosphere was great and this is an order at the window style of restaurant. Sports bar style place and has at lot of indoor and outdoor seating. Offers full bar and even has a banquet room. Food portions were great and food tasted great as well.

My family met here for my brothers birthday. It’s a big place with a lot of room for bigger groups. There is plenty of outdoor seating for when the weather is nice. This is a burger joint so the menu is pretty simple. As far as the burgers go they really aren’t super special. I felt the. Price was good for what you get. They offer add ons for extra money which were a reasonable price. I don’t think the burgers will win awards but they aren’t bad either. Better than fast food and made to order. Great for larger groups and gatherings. I’m sure we will be back.

A huge burger joint on the far NW side of San Antonio offerring indoor and outdoor seating. Great for families with kids. Spaces available for private functions. Large grassy area out back for kids with a lot of energy to run and jump and holler while parents sit (not too) nearby for some (some) peace while eating.....wait for it......burgers! Of course they offer a wide variety of burger styles, fries and dogs. Adult tipple available as well. Was there for a private party so food samples limited to side salad and regular burgers. The burger patty was thick and still juicy-ish for a medium well to well cooked patty. I know, I know, but I guess, it's safer for the kids. It was very crowded today and parking was already full and a lot of people had to do street parking.

Bigz has reminded me what a good hamburger should be. I have been going there a few times a year for several years. I’m not sure what has happened but my last trip was a change from the past. The food came out as ordered but the staff seemed more interested in joking with each other than taking care of the customer. My previous visits you sometimes had to search for seats but not this time… only four other people there. The floors were littered and the men’s room smelled like sewage was backing up. It will be awhile before I go back to see if things go back to how they were.

We cane here on 11/30/25 late morning with a large group. We really enjoyed the food and would’ve enjoyed the experience but unfortunately the lady at the register was very impatient and rude. Not only to the guests but her workers. Her lack of customer service was making for an awkward moment for guest and staff. I felt more sorry for her workers having to deal with her everyday.

Big disappointment. Only thing that's big here is their buns at least an inch bigger than the burgers. I got there around 11 30 ask for a number one with pineapple was told I couldn't get pineapple . I explained it was listed on the menu she told me I could only get pineapple if I ordered the special that they were saving the pineapple for the special. if they have pineapple on the menu and they have pineapple in stock if I ask for pineapple seems like you should be able to get it certainly can't expect to have it your way here. Having the correct amount of stock on hand shouldn't be a customer problem it sounds like a management problem to me I would be more understanding about it if it was late in the afternoon but when I showed up reasonably early they should have plenty of pineapple left only being open for an hour and a half. Nothing special about their burgers. I believe if your business is about cooking burgers, then make them in a way so that we will remember our dining experience. Not about this place! Typical mediocre plastic, kind of truck-stop cheap bar food. Two members of our family had GI problems that looked like a food poisoning. Highly likely from this place. Good playground for kids outside. That’s it. Not coming back for sure.

Service and atmosphere is pretty decent. But as far as the food goes.. not up to par for the price. Burgers have no flavor at all. I was expecting a wow factor for the price. The onion rings zero flavor and the batter had a powder residue on them. I don’t intend on giving this place a second d try.

$50 for mediocre burgers, look at the pictures. They ask customers for a tip when you order. I give a tip expecting my food to be delivered and drinks too. No, they just yell out your name. They don't bring the food or assist in any way. You need to stop asking for tip if the is no waiter service. Food needs to improve tremendously. I'm never going back.

Orders their loaded fries and would not get them again. Menu said it came with chili con queso, pico and jalapenos. When I got them they looked like they just opened a can of chili and dumped it on frozen fries and added cheese to it. Very disappointed.

Good burgers but a welcoming place for sure. Plus the guy who attended me had a BLM tshirt and that's the last thing I need, political propaganda even during my lunch. I respect people but political views leave them out the door! Not ever coming to this Big'z!

1. Burgers were salty… couldn’t even eat them. 2. Ordered a medium burger and it was well done with an over medium egg that was left off the burger… when I asked for it- I received an over easy basically uncooked egg. 3. The picture below was AFTER we had asked for a replacement tomato because the first one was smaller than the pickle slice- now it’s at least the same size. (This is for a double cheeseburger) 4. Almost $40 bucks for horrible food. Could have spent way less at mcds and enjoyed it more. 5. Service was horrible. Impatient cashiers when you’re ordering for the first time, kitchen staff had a horrible attitude…the only thing decent was when we got up to leave a lady came up and asked if we needed a Togo bag/box. 6. The only good thing about this place is the environment. I think it plays mind games with you… because it makes you think the food HAS to be good… but had the same food been in a normal restaurant environment, it wouldn’t be open anymore. 7. The presentation of the food was good. But if you’re actually planning on eating it- go somewhere else and save money and your stomach.

BEWARE OF RAW MEAT. just ordered from here 10 days ago and all was well. Today our food was raw. We had it delivered since I don't drive. I called the restaurant manager Alexander he told me they cook it to standard. The standard must be raw. I tool several pictures and filed a complaint with the health department. My daughter ate half her burger before she realized it was red. I hope she doesn't fall ill. After all this the only thing the manager said was that they temp the burgers and standard is medium to medium well. I offered them an opportunity to save me as a customer but Alexander must have cooked the burgers because he did not offer to replace them or even take responsibility. That's bad business. The business has only the 2 location phone numbers and a generic email address. The owners obviously don't care about us customers that pay for food and keep business running. I draw the line with my kids health and my health especially now during Covid 19. BEWARE!!!!!!!! I just happened to be checking my account today in 2022 and I saw that my pictures have all been removed so I just reposted it to make sure that everybody knows about the hazards of eating here.

My family and I have been loyal customers of Bigz for over a decade and have always had positive experiences with both the food and service. Unfortunately, our most recent visit today, Jan. 10 2026, was an exception. My father ordered burgers for takeout and specifically requested a sourdough bun, but the order was incorrect. When he called to politely explain the issue and discuss how it could be avoided in the future, the situation escalated unnecessarily. The manager, Alexander, responded by accusing my father of being dishonest and spoke to him in a disrespectful and argumentative manner, offering no solution. This interaction was deeply disappointing and unprofessional, especially coming from a manager. Customer satisfaction and respectful communication should always be a priority. While we have valued Bigz for many years, this experience has unfortunately left us feeling disrespected and reconsidering our future visits.

Went last night for the first time with my son. We got there around 8:10, ordered our food and sat down. There was a crowd there including a large table of about 20. We started enjoying our food but at about 8:40 the clean up staff started staring us down clearly waiting for us to leave so they could leave. It was incredibly uncomfortable. About 8:50 one of them came up to our table and asked for our trays even though we were still clearly eating. I understand they close at 9pm but there should have been plenty of time for us to finish our food. We felt we were being pushed out when our trays were taken even though it was only 8:50. It was a very uncomfortable experience. We weren't the only table left in the restaurant but we took the hint and took our food home. I would not go again as the staff was very rude by rushing us.
