I wish I can give a rating of 50 stars just seems more American to me, but absolutely love Black rifle coffee I live in Corpus and I hope and pray that they open one up down here. Lot of coffee addicts out here in Corpus Christi.

Waited to be one of the first for the opening but the Chinese's virus 🦠 ruined my plan. However, it may be a gloomy day in SA but a cup of Cortado that knocks your socks off, couple with a cinnamon roll, which is the most flavorful ever, I m forever ready to defend my coffee ☕.

We stopped in for a quick coffee and lunch while passing through San Antonio. The spicy, sausage and egg sandwich was delicious and the cold brew mocha was fantastic. Staff were friendly and place was super clean. Wish I had one in Western Washington.

I have become so obsessed with this coffee shop that I’ve started Customizing everything I own black rifle! My girlfriend used to get Starbucks all the time, but this is her new favorite coffee shop, and she really enjoys the tea as well. I would love to either work for the coffee shop or corporate! Regardless, atmosphere is fantastic, and the coffee SLAPS around competitors. Love this place, and wave me down if you see me on the road!

I had the latte, it was bold and pleasing. No goofy sizes that make you feel like you don't know how to order a coffee. I truly enjoyed that the music was loud enough to hear but not so loud that you couldn't have a conversation. Plenty of seating in and outdoors a great place to get some work done.

I am a long time coffee club member and I recently got to experience the in person drive thru. I am so obsessed with their ground coffee and I go through two bags a month. The drive thru seemed to work similarly to Starbucks just with the amazing black rifle flavor that I love. They also give a military discount and regularly contribute to bettering the lives of local veterans. Love this place.

Love this place!! Even if you don’t like coffee, get their sweet tea, it’s my go-to!! This is a place where you could stay for hours just studying, being productive, and chilling. Staff is always super nice and I love their selection of fresh food in their fridge section! They have salads, sandwiches, fruit, and drinks! Highly recommend this place!

I first learned of this company through my instructor a year or so ago, and then tasted one of the samples at my auto mechanic/repair shop, who also happens to be veteran-owned. While my wife and I are typical regular coffee consumers, this particular brand caught me by surprise, and when I learned that the shop was in San Antonio from the same previously mentioned instructor, I knew I had to try it when we planned our trip to the area. I have only tried a couple of flavors (purchased a bag of Vanilla and bought a cup of Matcha Latte on this particular visit), I have to say I believe they have officially gained a loyal customer. The shop was pretty cool with some nice merchandise and my 7-year old daughter was even digging it.

So I have been wanting to try this new coffee shop since it's opened and today I finally got around to doing so on my way to hobby lobby. I was very impressed with their menu, everything from an iced coconut creme tea to a hot mocha latte. I am a HUGE fan of cold brew but wanted something chocolate to drink and a pastry today. I drove up to the menu and the first thing that caught my eye was a MOCHA COLD BREW, which isn't something you see at most places just yet! They don't have too many sweet treats there but, enough to catch your eye. The cold brew is excellent, the breading for the danish is melt in your mouth delicious and the customer service was wonderful! I dealt with two ppl while ordering, both were knowledgeable and extremely friendly! I want to lastly add that the pricing is very reasonable as well. I was honestly expecting Starbucks prices and was shocked/happy it wasn't as expensive. Not to mention, at the bottom of the receipt they give you a link to fill out their survey to get a free drink at your next visit. I recommend trying Black Riffle if you are in the area and if it isn't obviously, I'll definitely be returning to try more.

Friendly service and good coffee. They have a large menu with some unique items and they always have a seasonal menu. My know complaint about this place is that when you try to order, you get 3-5 sales pitches... Way too much. " Do you want to try this new food? Do you want to try the seasonal beverages? We're having a sale on our shirts inside. Would you like to send a pound of coffee to the troops? Would you like to send energy drinks to the troops?" It's all good stuff but it's just a lot.

This place is pretty cool and fancy. Lots of cool merchandise inside the store, they sell tons of different coffees. They had these cool bacon egg cheese buns in the case... looked so delicious. I come here every morning and get a small vanilla latte. It's my go to place. They seem a lot healthier here too. Less sugars, whole milks, lots of protein in their food options.

Great coffee place! I grabbed a sweet tea for my son, a decaf pour over for me, two hot chocolates and a mocha for my girls, and an americano for hubby. Everyone enjoyed their drinks. The only decaf available is pour over, which I don’t really understand because they could use those beans to make espresso. Yet, they say only decaf pour overs. 🤷‍♀️. Service is a bit slow, but that’s okay, because they make the drinks correctly. Also, I grabbed a bag of whole bean ak47 for hubby to make espresso with at home. It’s really good! They had a few “coffee or die “ shirts left, mostly in larger sizes.

I absolutely love supporting veteran owned and operated businesses, and BRCC is definitely an easy one to come back to time and time again! The coffees, teas, and food is always top notch! The staff is always very friendly, and helpful with any questions I have ever asked. The atmosphere inside is so cool! I love the theme and decor, as well as the abundance of outlets, and strong WiFi signal; I often spend hours at a time sitting in there getting work done on my computer! The pricing is pretty consistent with most coffee shops, but if I had any complaints, it would be the amount of ice to drink ratio. I often feel like I get a cup of ice with a splash of beverage. I would like to feel like the amount of drink is worth the cost. While this is not going to stop me from coming back, I do wish that I would get more bang for my buck. I was unable to create a response back to the comment left, so I decided to add me answer to the end of my original review! The coffee I could recommend the most for any new comer, is me personal favorite. The Vanilla Draft Latte, iced, extra sweet, with whip cream!

The staff is great! It was pretty busy but the drive thru was moving quickly. I went in the store to look at their merchandise. They have a good selection of their coffees and merchandise. Checkout was quick. They offer a military and first responder discount also. I left them a healthy tip I hope you do also.

This place its awesome. This shop is usually pretty full but if you are impatient you can always go to the almost empty starbucks a few yards down. The store also has cool swag so check it out.

Visited 7/26/21 for a coffee date. Great concept, decor and themed merchandise. The shop was very busy mid day. Parking was ample but every spot taken and the drive thru was busy. Convenient location right on Hwy 281 and near lots of shopping, restaurants and businesses. Staff was friendly. The hot chai latte I got was delicious, very spicy and left a tingly sting down my throat. There were various seating options inside, tables out front and even an enclosed dog park by the front entrance. Glad to have visited and look forward to going again. Highly recommend.

Great Latte, egg/cheese croissant is yummy, love the leather couches and chairs, because when I go to a coffee shop I’m there for a while doing work on my laptop. Love the support for the military. This location having a drive thru is genius! I saw Starbucks a few yards away with only a couple cars and BRCC had a full drive thru. The cashier was cheerful and friendly. It wasn't quick but the time it took was reasonable (less than it would take at Starbucks). I got a honey latte, which was too sweet, but I've had a caramel latte from them previously and it was great. I'm a big fan of their espresso. And l learned that they are a franchise - l hope they grow and open more locations because we need a good coffee franchise in SA.

Visited this.location via drive thru. The line wasn't long(3 or 4 cars in line ) but the wait was long (10-15 mins). To be honest that is about average wait time at any coffee drive thru location (sadly). I ordered a americano with vanilla syrup & cream. I also ordered cheese Danish. Both tasted great.

I've been wanting to visit Black Rifle Coffee Co for a while. While visiting family I finally made the time. What a cool place! It feels more like my speed. I was never in the military but regular men are welcome here. No computers, tech talk, fake meetings, man buns or slim fit pants required. I'm sure all that is welcome just doesn't feel like it's required. I'm sure any person that wants to drink coffee here is welcome. The staff was very friendly and inviting and seemed to fully understand their position. The seating area was clean and plenty of open chairs even though it was fairly busy on a Saturday morning. I recommend it! I definitely had to leave with some pods for my stash at home. I'm now a fan. See you guys on the next visit. I'll definitely find the location close to me back home.

Just moved to the area and wanted a quick coffee stop. Went through the drive through and staff were very friendly and patient. My iced coffee with salt caramel toffee and oatmilk was amazing. Perfect ratios not too sweet and not too bitter. I also tried the chicken fajita burrito and it was so delicious! 😍 Will absolutely be coming back through when I am in the area.

Love this location, been here several times for drive thru, solo work and social meetings. Always a calm, quiet atmosphere, even when busy. It’s a quick u-turn if coming from 410, or you can turn left on Embassy Row and come behind the Chipotle. Service is always attentive, dining area and restrooms have always been clean. I will say, I often get a little chilly, so if you get cold easily like me, bring a light sweater. But the indoor temp is well maintained for the weather and customer base.

Black Rifle Coffee Company (BRCC) is one of the coolest Texan coffee shops in the area. The shop blends all the Texas elements into their products and coffee naming. This store in San Antonio has a wide selection of their products, from coffee beans, T-shirts to many out wears/gears. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. And you occasionally see chess clubs hosting tournaments in the store - Great ambiance.

First time here. The barista was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I ordered the hot sea salt toffee caramel drink and a hot liberty bell (vanilla caramel matcha). Both drinks were delicious and gave me a gentle energy boost. I enjoyed the fact that none of the ingredients overpowered each other and that you can really taste each flavor. Service was quick, the place was clean, and the price was great!! Veteran owned is a plus, too!

Be warned there is a fair amount of merchandise surrounding you as you enter but if you truly want to support this business than it need not bother you. We tried a cappuccino & caramel latte (both hot) and enjoyed them. The cappuccino did have a malty smell that took a bit to get used to. Ended up grabbing a bag of whole beans of their Thin Blue Line roast and we tried that this morning. Great tasting roast, bold yet smooth, with the slightest hint of smokiness at the end. Overall enjoyed my experience and will definitely be back to explore their menu further!

Went to the 1604 location twice in last week, and both times staff got order wrong. Ordered a Hot, medium size, 2% milk, 1776, and first time is was made iced, but remade. 2nd time same order. Was asked if I wanted order made with 1/2 &1/2, said no wanted 2% milk, but order was made with 1/2&1/2. Didn't realize that til I had left location. Don't know if there is new staff or staff not listening to what customer is saying. Won't be back for awhile. Disappointed

Dang good coffee!!!! My review WAS 5 stars. I bought a hat there for $27. Got home and found the made in china label. Very disappointed. Only time I paid that much for a hat was because it WAS made in the USA!

While the coffee was actually quite good the experience was weird. They didn't have large cups so they split it into two 12oz cups. Theu honestly should have jist said small or medium only. Haha I asked for easy ice multiple times during my order to be clear and got quite a bit of ice. Why easy ice? Because when. They put a bunch of ice and a little milk it makes the coffee much stronger than I like. The order person was a little confusing, the lady who gave me my drink was nice though. Picture is of how much ice they put after having drank the drink and 15 mins of sitting in the car. I didn't have any food so I can't speak on that.

Ordered a cold honey latte and a salted caramel cookie. The coffee was weak and just ok. The cookie was warm and phenomenal. Probably one of the best cookies I've had anywhere in a long time. I'll go back and give the coffee another shot and definitely get another cookie.

This coffee shop is always busy. Anthony Bourdain once said if there's a long line it must be good.....but I dont really think it was good!!! The Customer service in the drive thru was great but the product itself.....not so happy. The horchata coffee was horrific. I took one sip and then spent twenty minutes trying to get my face to go back to normal, it was stuck in stank face....after a while I tried it again, just to make sure, and yup...had to trash it. The unicorn (no coffee) milkshake was good! The pecan square was delicious and very wholesome and not sugary at all, the 3 stars is literally for the pecan square it saved the review. I also got a vegetable quinoa bowl for like 6.something and I felt like I bought a bowl of quinoa....it had small pieces of cucumber.. a few baby tomatoes and some feta cheese I think it was. The cheese was the best part but I just felt like it was just the biggest bowl of quinoa. Came with a little side sauce which was good but clumpy.

The experience of going here was pretty good for the first time. However the sizes that you pay for the price need to be managed better. The Google reviews clearly have the prices established in the pictures. I had to pay a dollar extra for sweetener. Really?! I was very happy to be a patron at the establishment for its first week open. I had no problem buying the merchandise and the pod coffee! I will wear the merchandise proudly. However, I think pricing is not commensurate with the size that you get, especially today's times when people are looking for value for their dollar. People are giving you their disposable income for your product. I may go back in if I happen to be in the area, but I don't know. The calling out of the customer's orders needs to be more efficient. When you're crowded, the call out for the customer's name and needs to be very loud for people to hear it in the back of the store. You had way too many drinks sitting on the counter with no customers names, and very friendly but very busy employees were doing their best to get the orders out. I love the fact that you guys have moved to San Antonio and made this place your home.I love supporting any and all veteran-owned businesses. But please, rethink your pricing.

I really wanted to like this coffee spot because I love everything they stand for; but the customer service was off and one of the drinks we got was awful. My friend was buying my coffee and a hat, coffee, and mug. She is a physician for the ER and didn't get the first responder discount. She had her badge and the man still wouldn't give her a discount? Our total was over $80 worth of merch and coffees. We ended up returning one of the coffees because it tasted so bad. The almond milk was not good at all.

Went to the drive through during an errand for work on this side of town and ordered a matcha latte with oak milk and a cookie. The employee taking my order was really nice and the cookie was delicious however they forgot my matcha in my drink as it was only the milk portion….

We usually enjoy Black Rifle Company, however this particular store seems to struggle heavily with app pick-up orders. Both times we have ordered (two weekends in a row) we waited well past our pick-up window. Last weekend was about 20 minutes past due to a label printer issue. Today we waited 30 minutes past our pick up due to a “tailgate issue”. We ended up leaving without our breakfast. If app orders are unable to be fulfilled within a reasonable timeframe I don’t understand why they offer it at this location.

Don't buy into the hype. Do some research about their values. Coffee isn't even good. The staff are rude, and I would rather support a true American company.

Every time, the staff at the drive thru “do you want to leave a tip?” That’s such a strange comment. I haven’t even received my drink yet. And the last few times I received it. It wasn’t good. It’s also very strange to ask if you wanna leave a tip. If somebody wants to leave a tip, they will let you know. It’s extremely uncomfortable and I avoid this place like the plague because I don’t want to have to go through saying “no” … Bad business plan.

So, Sad that this place has not been able to find good help. Went through drive through. Ask about the Cortado. Person on the speaker helped me get it ordered. Got to the window and a different person helped me (“AB”). AB tried to give me something I did not order. When I tried to point out the difference, I was basically told too bad. BRCC's coffee is WAY better than Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts or San Antonio's "Local Coffee" company! I have visited several BRCC locations and their coffee is consistantly great. Now, let's talk about the bad. Their prices are very high and their cups are very small. A "medium" looks like a small, and the "large" is barely the size of a medium. (When my hand easily wraps around a large cup of coffee... that is just too small) You also pay a premium price for small cup of coffee. Then they nickel and dime you to death. I just paid $1 to add a little bit of vanilla to my coffee. When I am paying $4 for a little cup of coffee; don't insult me by charging me another $1 for sweetner!!! Their building is super nice, but their location is hard to get too. Summation: A great cup of "Joe", but because of the small cup sizes, I will only occasionally be stopping at BRCC. What a shame... They almost did it right.

This establishment no longer cares about health. They no longer offer healthy sweetener substitutes like Stevia. Now it’s either straight up sugar or Splenda which is basically rat poison. Sandwich came with uncooked bacon. Had them remake it and the second was exactly the same. I won’t be back BR is really going down hill

Visited 2 weeks apart and still can’t order product so you can make drinks as advertised. Fruit punch tastes nothing like berry. Continuous disappointment from this location.

I hate to do this…black rifle has been great to me. Their coffee is top notch and being a veteran myself I love what they do for the vet community. I just can’t sit by though and let the scam company continue what they’re doing without speaking out. I ordered coffee from them two months ago and paid for over night shipping. Nothing happened with my order for over a week, until finally, a notice came through their website about moving websites. They delayed my order several times till finally just ignoring my inquiries out right and told me just to wait. They stole my money and won’t send me a product. I have no choice to push this further and seek legal action.

We stopped by Black Rifle Coffee for our Sunday morning brew, and while I was curious to try it, the experience didn’t leave me wanting to return. I ordered an iced latte with oat milk, honey, and cinnamon. Unfortunately, the drink was overwhelmed by cinnamon, throwing off the balance completely. As a barista myself, I’m very familiar with preparation and portions, so this was disappointing. My boyfriend had an americano with a pump of their wild blackberry syrup, which actually worked nicely — not too sweet and allowed the coffee flavor to shine. What stood out more than the drinks, though, was the atmosphere and culture of the shop. At checkout, I was asked if I wanted to donate to the armed forces, which I don’t mind in principle, but the suggested donation was a whopping $8, unusually high for a coffee counter. Then we were invited to browse their merchandise, which prominently featured gun and weapons-themed magazines. I have respect for veterans and officers, but that’s simply not my thing, and it felt very front-and-center here. As a Hispanic woman whose family has been in Texas since before it became part of the United States, I felt an added layer of discomfort. While my boyfriend was adding sugar to his drink, an older white man abruptly got in my way at the bar. I stood my ground, but the dismissive, entitled approach was hard to ignore. The environment didn’t feel inclusive or welcoming. Overall, the coffee wasn’t worth the off-putting atmosphere. While I respect what the brand stands for, the experience just wasn’t for me. I won’t be returning.
