He knew the menu inside and out, gave excellent recommendations on both steaks and sides, and timed everything perfectly without ever feeling rushed. What really stood out was his attention to detail—checking in at just the right moments, making sure every request was handled flawlessly, and keeping the experience smooth from start to finish. Service like this is rare and absolutely elevates the quality of a great steakhouse. If you’re dining here, ask for Carlos Sanchez. Spectacular service, exceptional serve yourself appetizers and salads. Then came the meats! Every meat had great flavors and was perfectly cooked. This was a private party and when the room was ready, a server carried our drink while escorting us from the bar to the dining room.

You will definitely leave full! We chose this place because of the great reviews and it did not disappoint. We went on a Monday night and it was packed. The kind of great service where your water glass is always refilled. Constant attention. You don't need to dress up for this place. We went on a whim so I thought I'd be underdressed, but when we got there folks were in t-shirts. Everyone is comfortable, kids and babies, just eating and drinking and being merry.

First time here and the food was amazing! Every single bite i ate had incredible flavor. The salad bar was extremely nice too. We went on a Friday and it was really busy with workers walking everywhere quickly and attentive to everyone. (I got a little dizzy watching them lol) Our server was very sweet and we got a special treat for celebrating our anniversary. I've heard people say this place is phenomenal and I completely understand why! Bravo!

Helped me know what things I was allergic to (have a bad berry allergy) The food was delicious. Great experience all the way around.

This was my first time here. The salad bar was incredible. You could get full on all they offer just from the salad bar but try not to the best is yet to come!!! Every meat you could dream of will be served and it will melt in your mouth as well as mashed potatoes!! So very delicious!! I highly recommend Chama Gaucha Brazilian Restaurant!! You will not be disappointed!! Be sure and make reservations.

To start of with food with a very objective honest review. Meat is good - no doubt about it-is it better than any other decent Gaucho steak house around, not really. It’s all the same. What sets this place apart by far - is atmosphere and their staff. Well oiled machine that keeps on delivering. It seems like they are all over you but interesting thing about it is - they are not overwhelming you with pushy service leaving you to think they just wanna get rid of you. On contrary they leave you with a feeling of leaving grandma’s house after the meal. Where she pushes everything out for you just so you can be happy. That’s exactly how these guys work. This all comes down from great training and management of the staff. MGR GORAN delivered above and beyond service on multiple tables including ours. No one was left behind unattended and everyone left happy. What a refreshing experience for a restaurant of that large of a scale - OUTSTANDING performance and kudos to all staff members involved. We will become regulars that’s for sure! Thank you!

Best service I’ve EVER had in my life. Food was outstanding as well. Drinks are strong, but delicious. Overall ambience is very refined, soft, and warm. Probably the best place to take a first date in San Antonio.

The first Brazilian Steakhouse I’ve ever been to and I got to say it was definitely an experience to remember! I went for my 22nd birthday celebration with my brothers from church and had a blast! Food: ♾️/10 The best meat cuts I’ve ever had in my life, everything was super tender and juicy, everything was cooked to absolute perfection, and even the fiery cheesecake dessert I had was something to die for! Best tasting meats I’ve ever had! My personal recommendations would be the Lamb Chops and Fireball Cheesecake! Service: ♾️/10 The service was perfect and excellent! All the food was served very timely and with a bright smile, our main server girl was very nice and sweet, she made sure we had refills and every request met, and also made sure my birthday dessert was served (even had a little happy birthday message written on it). The manager was very polite and friendly, he continuously kept up with our table and asked about our experience. Many little things I could go into but overall the service experience was unlike any other! Atmosphere: ♾️/10 The atmosphere was great, the area was continuously clean, and the whole dining room was filled with happy and satisfied guests/servers. The decor and aesthetic was very pleasing to the eyes as well as all the artwork and lighting! Overall a real boujee restaurant atmosphere! Overall: ♾️/10 Everything about this place was perfect, timely, aesthetic, and very much enjoyable! Definitely somewhere I’d recommend for a birthday celebration, a romantic date or wedding/anniversary dinner, or pretty much any big occasion worth having steaks over! ♾️/10 will be back again!!!

The food here is outstanding. Our server told us not to fill up on the salad bar which was incredible, very good advice. Then the meats started arriving to our table as well as a few very tasty sides. Every item was superb. We must have been served by at least seven different people and the were all very polite and courteous. We were very well taken care of and this was out first time dining there. As much as the food was on point their service was even better!! Can't wait to return as this meal was an experience not just another dining outing.

Similar to Fogo De Chao, this is an all you can eat Brazilian BBQ. Their salad bar was extensive with many choices ranging from charcuterie to deviled eggs. Personally, I enjoyed their picanha the most and got many cuts of this meat. The other meats weren’t bad but picanha was my favorite by far. It was a bit pricey ($60ish) per person, so make sure to come hungry. They also brought us out a celebratory flan as I was celebrating my birthday, which was very nice.

Phenomenal service, high-class, great experience. Admittedly, I had hoped for a bit more variety in the types of meat being served, but they do also take requests to ensure customer satisfaction. Be aware that kids are no longer free at age 2, and the adult meals are pricey. Most diners will find it to be a very worthwhile endeavor overall.

Came here for Valentine’s Day and the experience was pretty average overall. We checked in about 15 minutes early but still didn’t get seated until around 20 minutes after our reservation time. The host was also rude, which didn’t make a great first impression. Food was just okay. The steak and some items were overly salty, and the salad bar surprisingly had no fruit selection. For all the hype and it being a special occasion, it didn’t really meet expectations. Not a bad place, just not worth the anticipation.

I had a pretty good dining experience at Chama Gaúcha Brazilian Steakhouse. I went with a few friends to celebrate a birthday, and the atmosphere was great. We went on a Saturday, so it was definitely busy, but it still felt like a fun, lively vibe. The salad bar was okay — I just wish there had been a little more variety, especially considering the price point. That said, we all know the main attraction is the meat. The steak was good overall, but the real standouts for me were the filet mignon and the lamb chops. Those were absolutely amazing. Honestly, they could have just kept bringing those two all night and I would’ve been completely satisfied. Overall, it’s a really good restaurant and a cool dining experience. I probably wouldn’t go all the time, but it’s definitely worth checking out for a special occasion.
