We are so happy and so proud of the Poppy's team for the opening on their new location, which turned out beautiful! We have been loyal Saturday customers since we first discovered their truck last year. We highly recommend their White Poppy latte, blueberries and cream latte, apple pie chai, and short and sweet chai. This location is also a perfect place to hang out or walk around outside. It's also pet friendly (outside patio) and they serve puppaccinos! Check them out :)

I went to Poppy’s Coffee House after a Run Club at O.P. Schnabel Park. I got the 16oz iced americano and sat on the well shaded patio chatting with friends. The coffee wasn’t burnt and had great flavor. The atmosphere was great. Service was timely considering there was a great deal of customers throughout my entire visit. Would definitely come back.

Fast service! By the time I was putting my money away my coffee was ready I’m not kidding 😂. Place was pretty full which is a good sign. Coffee was good ! The overall feel of the place is very warm and cozzy. Downsize is the lack of parking but it may be that the other building near had an event. We went on a weekend at noon. Will definitely come back and try their valentines menu since they change their special menu depending on the season.

Poppy’s is a charming, cozy coffee house! My sister and I love visiting to relax, enjoy good coffee, read, and soak in the atmosphere. I highly recommend it.

Poppy’s new location is so cute and cozy! 🤍🪻☕️ Sabrina, our barista was so sweet and friendly despite us coming in before closing time. The drinks were delicious whether you’re looking for coffee or a tea refresher. We got the White Poppy latte and the Peachy Palmer. This will definitely be my new study spot, there is plenty of space with comfy chairs and large tables to get work done.

Really adorable coffee shop with iced lattes, matcha, and small bites to eat. Inside an old home, this is perfect spot for a coffee with friends. They even host fun vendor fairs and craft events on the weekends.

I got the chai and it was tasty. Super cute place to relax and read/watch something. The outdoor patio is cute and shaded. Inside, is cute with lots of places to sit. The music is a little loud for my preference but that's easily mitigated with headphones.

This is probably my favorite coffee shop in San Antonio, full stop. The espresso is always great, but more importantly the ATMOSPHERE is amazing. I have come here to both chat and get work done, and the soft music is the perfect background to anything I need to do. The decoration is very feminine, it is the perfect written-by-a-woman coffee shop.

Today, I went in craving their incredible cold brew from last month's menu, and even though it wasn't listed, they made it for me! Seriously, they went out of their way to make my day, and it was absolutely delicious. That kind of customer service is just unheard of these days! Not only is the coffee fantastic, but the entire staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. It's so convenient being so close to my job, and now I'm recommending Poppy's to ALL my coworkers. I finally checked out Poppy's & I absolutely loved it. The ship set up is so cute & I love their seating options. The service was great & fast. I ordered the honey nut latte & a vegan strawberry pop tart & my sister ordered the bluebonnet matcha with a banana nut donut & everything was delicious. As a vegan I appreciated the vegan pastry options :) I definitely will be back & I highly recommend.

Nice coffee shop- it was pretty busy for a Saturday at 2:30, but we were still served quickly. The person taking orders was very friendly and kind. They have a spinach puff pastry that was excellent, and the iced matcha latte has good flavor and isn't as sweet as Starbucks. A bulletin board held some fun info on book clubs and pet adoptions. I'd definitely come here again, it's got a very clean atmosphere and with plenty of room to have a seat to study or hang out. Great place for a morning or afternoon pick-me-up.

The place has 3 different areas. We picked outside. ( bring mosquito spray) It was very chill Comfy seats. Inside lots of space . Games and areas to meet or chat. Coffee was delicious. Clean bathrooms and everything just kinda felt like you were at home. Parking a bit small but alternatively was close enough.

They have a base menu with some limited time offerings. Nothing crazy. Overall, this is a must try place. We will definitely be back.

IMO this would be the perfect cozy spot to work on homework or meet up with friends for coffee. When it's cooler outside you can hang out on the side porch. Owners, please consider serving a simple breakfast and you'll really pull in a lot of customers. This is exactly the kind of coffee shop I've been waiting to see in San Antonio. The staff was helpful in giving us recommendations on coffee to choose. What really sets this place apart is the atmosphere. It's like having coffee in your grandma's house! There is seating, tables, and even an outside back patio. There were a few people working quietly on laptops when we visited. Even without a drive thru, this is a great spot to relax when you have a few minutes to actually savor your coffee and start your day.

I used to go to the coffee truck they had at HEB at Bandera & 1604. I finally checked out their physical building. Still great drinks and desserts. This café is cute and roomie. The baristas are very nice and helpful. Definitely would recommend this coffee spot.

Maybe my favorite coffee place in San Antonio. Very cute vibes walking in. Their specialty flavors always hit, the barista was nice, and it wasn’t too pricey. Between the board games they provide and the nice public park and the library across the street, I could spend then entire day in the area.

I want to give a shout out to Poppy's for acknowledging nurses in the first responder/teacher discount 🙏 but before they started this discount I fell in love with matcha thanks to their brown sugar iced matcha! I'm a Snoopy fanatic so if you are go visit and see the Snoopy items throughout the cafe. Staff is always sweet as well. Go visit!

We have been customers/fans of Poppy's since they were a trailer in the H‑E‑B parking lot, their drinks never disappoint. As with any evolving business comes the inevitable changes and adjustments for customers, etc., however it is a bit disappointing to see the number of non-service related dogs within their new, small brick & mortar business; this visit had 3 dogs all in the small living room area. Hygienic issues aside, the lack of courtesy & awareness for those who may suffer from dog/pet related allergies was alarming. I could understand if the patrons moved to the beautiful patio after ordering however this was not the case & I could not wait to get my order and exit. I hope Poppy's management reconsiders their policy on non-service related pets so all can continue to enjoy their delicious offerings.
