I haven’t been to Shipley since I left Houston 10 years ago, and today I finally went back! I ordered my favorite cake donuts, and they were just as delicious as I remembered—soft, fresh, and full of that classic flavor. It felt like no time had passed at all. So glad to be reunited with an old favorite!

Absolutely loved this place! The donuts were fresh and hot you can really taste the quality. Everything was soft, delicious, and made perfectly. The shop itself was really nice and clean, which made the experience even better. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the service was excellent. I’ll definitely be coming back again!

I love this place. It’s perfect for a quick coffee and a fresh donut. Sometimes the lobby is super dark and locked but the sign says open and it’s closed when they are supposed to be open at least according to the operating hours. But the staff are super friendly and I’ve never had issues with the drinks or donuts.

The donuts and kolanches were delicious however I got a dozen glazed and the donuts were so small they were almost bite size. They aren't that small at other Shipley. If the price goes up the product shouldn't get smaller.

The location that I purchased was Shipley was close to the Lackland military base. Trinie provided excellent service and assistance. Only thing that doesn’t give Shipley a full five star, is the difference in price of two different locations.

5th time trying to get chocolate filled donuts. We fell in love with them when we visted the location on 1218 W Bitters, that location, their donuts are almost double the size of these and they are filled with filling. We were excited when they open the one by our house. We are not in the greatest part of town but come on. You charge $1.65 for 1 filled donut we bought a dozen to have them with a squirt of filling and the size. I should have gone to Dunkin.... not good..... never again!!

Donuts are usually cold or hard/old unless you go super early. I've given them more them 2 chances and have had the same outcomes. Although the employees may be friendly, the quality of food is below subpar.

Came to this location 2x on on different days. Both times their product wasn't great or tasty. Seems like an ingredient is off on their dough for the glazed donuts. Ordered the same product both times. First day my total was nearly $10 the second time it was almost $16. For what? Half a dozen glazed and a chocolate milk.

New location on Valley Hi dr. Near Lackland AFB second day open I decided to stop in and try. Unfortunately they didn't have a lot of variety. Just had a few donuts displayed. They said they been really busy but when I went in nobody in sight . Don't think this place would last long in business. Just went to HEB to get a donut it's right next door to shimply Do-nuts . Definitely will not be coming here again wasting my time.

I got the duo meal and asked if I wanted coffee which I did but wanted hot coffee. Get my order it was iced, no biggie I love iced coffee.. didn’t make a fuss. I get home started eating my food 🤦🏻‍♀️ I wanted a sausage and cheese kolache they gave me jalapeño with cheese in it! Ugh 😑 I don’t know if i would go back

False advertisement, says hot glazed guarantee, came today @9:50 am on 2-25 And no hot glazed smh I guess it’s because of location, this happens frequently

I was so excited for this place to open, i went in it was 10:40am on a sunday they where already out of kolache with eggs, we talk with one of the workers that took our order he was nice kind of explained to us, was that they make kolache in single order as they get the order, we got back home and decided to order online the one that we want it egg, sausage and cheese and bacon,egg and cheese, when my husband pick it up they said they where out and they only give him 6 cards for free kolache for the "inconvenience" that you can redeem one per costumer mind you i order a dozen half and half, they o give us what they had kolaches with sausage and cheese ☹️ i understand they are Young workers but they need better management, how a place that sell kolaches run out of kolaches Variety

I’m always excited when new businesses invests into our area and I was eager to support Shipleys donuts. Unfortunately, every single time no matter what time of day I’ve gone the donuts are cold or stale .Donuts are cold even if you come before 11 and request hot donuts. They will legitimately give you cold donuts instead of letting you know there is a wait or saying they don’t have them. I have taken Do-Nuts back to be remade twice. The last time I visited I said I’d like a half dozen hot glaze. They charged me for one dozen. And gave me 6 cold donuts in the box. I said to the cashier you charged me for a dozen and gave me 6 cold donuts. They microwaved the ones I gave me then gave me an additional 6 cold donuts. I did not argue because I know no matter what coupons they send or specials they offer I will not be supporting them with my purchasing dollar any more. This location is consistently slow (not a big deal) and poor quality (big deal for the price) I don’t see this location being open very long.

Horrible experience especially with the GM, JACK. Had to make 2 trips to get my order correct. In my 34 years as Human Resources Director / Investigator, I would terminate him, immediately!!
