We enjoyed our meals and the flavors were very enjoyable. The only downside is that they're located in a very busy area and parking can be a challenge (Trader Joe's is right next door), but you can do some shopping and get a great meal on your outing. We agreed that the Tikka Masala was the winner over the Coconut Curry. The chicken pakoras and samosas were great appetizers (if you want Naan you will have to pay for it). They also have a nice selection of soda, lemonade, and tea. The food comes out piping hot and service was great. We'll definitely be back.
I love this place. The food is consistently good (highly recommend chicken tikka curry, chicken korma curry, garlic naan, mango lassi to drink, vegetable samosas, vegetable pakoras, chicken biryani) but all of their food rocks. Their customer service is ALWAYS kind, polite, upbeat, and seems to be happy to work there. The inside is chill, cozy and warm, although I always order to-go. I'd say for Indian food, their taste pallets lean more toward Americanized Indian versus truly traditional Indian; the plates are Indian food but the taste is more mild overall than the way Indian food has more spices. Thanks for being my awesome count-on Indian food place!
Good Indian food. Always nice staff. Great app to order off. Never have dined in, but restaurant looks real clean. Super nice staff though. Good prices and always delicious
Delicious food, very customizable menu. Great place if someone is new to trying Indian food. Fast service. We have to eat gluten free because of my husband's severe allergy. He has never gotten sick here even from cross-contamination. Menu is clearly marked with gluten free items, the majority is GF.
This was our 1st time to eat Indian food. We ordered 2 hot Chicken Biryani's, cheesy naan, garlic naan and unsweet tea. The Biryani was delicious, but when they say hot believe it, I think next time we'll order the medium. But overall it was great we like spicy food.
My go-to for fresh, quality consistent Indian food in San Antonio. The consistency is unmatched here. I always leave feeling like I don’t have to check my order, it is correct and on time. Multiple vegan options and clearly marked. Really appreciate that!
We really enjoy Indian food 🥘 and India Oven has been our quick go-to every time we’re in San Antonio. The food might not be the most authentic but it’s great nevertheless. We really enjoy their garlic and cheesy naans and there’s nothing a warm Indian soup won’t cure. The service is always quick, friendly and effective!
This was delicious. Just FYI, "hot" means hot. I enjoyed it, but for those who are sensitive to heat, you might wanna go with something less than "hot." The plates (including the kids plates) were also great portions. They both ended up taking their leftovers to go. The garlic naan was amazing 🤤 We didn't eat outside, but there is a decent sized outdoor patio with seating.
We enjoyed the food from here. The samosas were tasty, chicken vindaloo with basmati had the traditional flavor but could have had more chicken than potatoes, the saag was very good especially with some garlic naan. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the Madras soup. I'm used to a smoother texture, more coconutty flavor. This one clearly had spices that tasted more like a sauce than soup. But my girlfriend liked it very much. I joined their reward program because we will continue to order from here.
The only way to describe it is fast food Indian. It doesn’t taste what you would expect of fast food. It was delicious and authentic. I appreciated the small touches like the metal dishes. Portion sizes were larger than expected. I felt I got a lot of food at an affordable price. This is a place I will regularly come back. The garlic Naan was melt in your mouth good. I liked that I could pick which protein I wanted to accompany the flavor profile.
I love this place. The food is consistently good (highly recommend chicken tikka curry, chicken korma curry, garlic naan, mango lassi to drink, vegetable samosas, vegetable pakoras, chicken biryani) …
This place is still so good. Always busy. Great food. I just wanted a snack so stopped in for a mango lassi and some samosas.

The area tends to be busy given that it’s in the same area as Trader Joe’s. The food and service were great. The spiciness level was accurate making the dishes enjoyable. The portion size is deceiving at first sight, but the portions were very reasonable and the food was fresh.
I’ve stopped by several times whenever I’m in the mood for this type of cuisine, which isn’t all that often. That said, I always go for their chicken curry with medium spice and jalapeños—it's my go-to. The warmth and spiciness hit just right, especially on a cold or rainy day. The staff has always treated me well, and the service is consistently great.
OMG absolutely love this place.... Spices, flavors, delicious mmm mmm pure goodness. If you love to try something different this place is absolutely a Must Do. Its good clean flavorful food that's cooked, prepared and presented very well. The restaurant is always clean and the staff is always helpful and never mind explaining what the dish ingredients are (so be sure to ask). Ive been to both locations (Stone Oak & 151) and they both are very consistent with everything. This was a very good experience!

More to come on my review \nBut so far very friendly and clean, food smells and look awesome
The food, service, and ambiance are on point. Everything is so fresh and the staff will assist with any questions.

I was looking forward to a flavorful, authentic Indian meal, but unfortunately the dishes did not meet those expectations. The Lamb Vindaloo lacked depth of spice and complexity, and tasted more like a standard tomato-based sauce rather than a slow-cooked, layered Indian preparation. The naan was also more doughy and heavy than traditional, and overall the meal felt more on the Americanized side than authentic Indian cuisine. The service was polite and the portion sizes were generous, but the flavor profile and preparation style did not reflect the richness or authenticity I was hoping for.
As the kids say - this is pretty mid. It's ok, not bad, I'd eat it again in a pinch craving for Indian but the depth of flavor on the Tikki with chicken was not there, the naan wasn't as cooked as I'…

Beyond the decor, Nothing Indian about this place. \n\nUncooked yellow dhal, sour paneer Tikha masala, biryanis - are they?

This place used to be delicious but it was absolutely disgusting. I normally get Tikka Masala, with chicken, medium spicy, and garlic naan. The tikka masala was very sweet for some reason and zero spice. The garlic naan was so gross with literal garlic smooshed all over it. I was better off walking across the parking lot to Trader Joe’s and getting something from there
