This place is a real gem and very authentic! I got the 4 taco style appetizer as a meal. I chose the steak and carnitas for meats. They were amazing!

Great food and super friendly staff. The owner and her family run the place and you can see the passion in their attitude and taste it in the food! From arepas and empanadas to bandejas colombianas and sancocho, everything is super tasty.

This place is amazing! I always see it on my way to T-Street Beach, and finally decided to stop in with some friends. So glad I did! The food is so delicious and flavorful, and the service was great. Ashley, our server, was so nice and super fun to talk to! She had our whole table cracking up and my friends had a great time. I got the Bandeja plate and would highly recommend! We also tried the plantains basket (carnitas & ceviche) and those were to die for. It's on the appetizer menu but could totally be a meal for one person! Save room for the flan as well -- it's homemade fresh and sooo creamy, almost like a cheesecake. Even if you think you don't like flan, you'll like this one. So glad to discover this restaurant!

Authentic Colombian food. This is one of those whole in the wall gems! Very friendly staff that are also family. The wait was a little long but so worth the food. It was like my childhood on a plate. Even the music they played was authentic. I lived in Colombia in the 90's so maybe I'm a bit nostalgic but I love having a Colombian restaurant right in south OC without having to drive all the way to LA.

This is one of my all time favorite hole in the wall places to eat. As someone who HATES bananas, I'm obsessed with their plantains. I DREAM about their plantains when I am away. Their pollo asado is so flavorful, but don't forget their salsas! The green onion salsa is so amazing, my bf and I ate the whole thing. The dressing they put on their salad is light and delicious! My bf got the sobrebarriga with the arepa 🤤 The beef and chicken were both fresh and tender. Service was super friendly, our waiter was in an infectiously happy mood. Every time I leave I can't wait to go back.

Extremely tasty food and friendly service. I had the empanadas, the Sobrebarriga, the chocolate flan, and loved all of it. I recommend this place and will be going back. This place is family run and the staff is great, but when the abuela (grandma) is around she really makes you feel at home. For me it brought back memories as a child visiting our next door neighbors who were also Colombian.

This place is like a hidden treasure. It doesn’t look like much from the outside but I’m telling you GO GO GO. The food DELICIOUS. May very well have had the best ceviche I’ve ever had. They have a GREAT happy hour menu. There is some limited patio seating, small bar, and inside tables. The staff is so friendly and very helpful. It is a family owned business and you can tell they are very proud of their restaurant and work hard to make your experience great. Short walk from the ocean so it was a great spot for a date night.

I love this place!!!!! The staff here always makes you feel welcome. We generally like to sit outside in their patio under the heaters. Our server Natasha is absolutely a joy and always gives us excellent service, great recommendations and makes us laugh! It’s always nice to see familiar faces! We ordered the beet salad which is so good! I’m not typically a fan of beets but they taste like they have been marinating in lime juice for a week. So fresh and delicious. We ordered the vegetarian and meat empanadas! They are a must ordered when coming here. There are delicious and I drool over the dipping sauce that it comes with. So good. Natasha recommended the shrimp scampi and what a great recommendation! It was super juicy and had an amazing flavor that made me finish ever last drop of the broth that the shrimp were sitting in.. lol yep it was that good. We came on a Tuesday and they just started serving tacos!!! My mom ordered the carnitas and steak tacos and she loved them. They were light and filling. They only serve tacos on Tuesday and during happy hour. We also ordered the cheese quesadilla (which is also a new addition to the menu and the only item that has a tortilla~Colombians don’t do tortillas ::-)) the quesadilla had bbq sauce in it!? So good!!! It was HUGE! Like seriously a big quesadilla we had to take some Home! we ordered a delicious Belgian farmhouse ale by tank 7 by boulevard brewery. They have a great selection of beers on draft and also have Pabst on draft. We appreciate the everything about this place from the delicious food, warm staff, great service and authentic ambiance. This place has become a staple restaurant for me and my family. Thank you so much La Colombiana :~)

One of those hole-in-the-wall kind of places where food is unexpectedly great. The balance of all the ingredients total more than the sum of the equal parts. Just savory. Our server, Tara, took time to figure out what would fit our taste the best, patiently described each one from the menu and made her recommendations on what would be good for us as this was our first time. We settled on the Plantain Basket for appetizers and Sobrebarrigas for the main course. After partaking in what was served us, I was sure this won't be the last time. Buena comida, volveremos por mas!!

This place is a gem. Nice local eatery that appears family run. Great place to watch soccer and try some Colombian food. We were greeted by Natasha, who is such a doll. Food was excellent. Patacones and Maduras were so good. I will definitely be back when I am in San Clemente. Btw Google will take you in the back alley but front door and parking is on main street.

I’ve really enjoyed each experience we have had here. They do a great job with any meat dish. I always get the beet salad. The empanadas and any version of cheesy bread is fantastic! The Ambiance is definitely a bit rustic but that’s part of the charm. Today my wife tried the soursop drink which was very unique and tasty. This is a great change of pace from all the Mexican fare in SoCal. Looking forward to my next meal there.

My sister's favorite spot. Everything is fresh. Great Quality. Flavorful and authentic. Friendly service, nice people. Affordable. I try something different everytime I go. And it's all excellent. Have been here a few times now. I feel like the place gets even better somehow.

J

I love this restaurant! It's family-run, which, off the bat, is a huge plus. But beyond that, the food is fantastic. The arepas with cheese are the bomb. The happy hour dishes are not only a great deal, but some great food. The tacos are made with arepas as a shell instead of a tortilla. The Pablo Escabar balls are a must-order (papas rellenas). Any dish with chorizo--you can't go wrong. The tamales are classic Columbian comfort food. Put ahi on everything. The staff is friendly, and if you're lucky, you'll catch Grandma Eddy greeting you and maybe even dancing a little. 💃

I haven’t been to Colombia since I was a kid, but when I first ate here it took me back to my grandmothers cooking. I was greeted at the door, great music playing with the game on the TV, and offered a drink before sitting down. I had my favorite food growing up empanadas (they were served fresh and hot)and I had their version of a bandeja paisa. The food was amazing.

What a great little Gem of a restaurant !! Friendly staff who helped us with our selection. . Owner came out and said hello to our table and the food was very delicious! ! Empanadas were very yummy !! And the carnitas although different than what I am used to again very delicious. .. plus enough for lunch the next day ... definitely going back and trying something different until I try it all :)

My girlfriend took me here as a weekday outing. It's got the hole in the wall vibe but still has the San Clemente prices. But trust me it's worth the taste. I had the Colombiana tostada with carnitas which is served on a fried plantain pancake instead of the Mexican traditional fried corn tortilla...DELICIOUS! My girlfriend had the Columbiana tamale and it could have used more flavor so we kind of felt like we were eating salsa to make it taste good. I would have loved to try the seafood here but my girlfriend is allergic so I save those occasions for outings with coworkers and family but other patrons there seemed to be raving about the shrimp. Servings are large and we didn't really need the appetizer between the two of us but if you go in a group of 4 or more I recommend the stuffed plantains, it's 4 mini Colombiana tostadas. We got 2 potato... yummy and 2 carnitas... and there's a choice of shrimp too!

One of my local favorites! The food is made to order, but is definitely worth the wait. They have a great columbian menu and even columbian beer. The owner is pleasant and she seems to always be around. Great place for a pleasant date, lunch or dinner.

I was born in Colombia. I’ve lived in Colombia and on the East coast. Elizabeth, NJ and Jackson Heights NY. I wasn’t expecting good Colombian food in California. I was wrong. It was damn good. They nailed it. I would for sure go back, and I live in big bear lake CA. That’s like 2 hours away.

Some of the best food and sangria I have had in awhile! I suffer from celiac disease and it is hard to find restaurants where you can eat practically all the food they serve. So much flavor and love put into the food here! I tell anyone that is headed down to San Clemente, to stop here. You will not regret it 😁

This place has the best combination of atmosphere(latin music), service(family owned and operated), and food. If you have been to South America you will no doubt enjoy the delicious, authentic food. The empanadas are like no other, perfectly fried, a masa crust(not dough like other places) with delicious meat, veggies, and spices inside. Everything we have ordered has been delicious.

Cozy atmosphere indoors with sidewalk dining to enjoy San Clemente weather.Friendly staff. Delicious food like no other. I recommend trying something unfamiliar. You will be satisfied. Entertainment was provided by Karalin. She wore traditional Colombian festival attire and sang beautifully.

This place is phenomenal!! Everything from the drinks to the appetizers to the entres to the desserts is delicious, and try all the sauces for sure. It looks a bit unassuming from the outside but it will be the first place I recommend to anyone in the area and will be the first place I take anyone visiting me here. Fantastic service, even better food - will be going her OFTEN!

As a Colombian myself, the food here was outstanding! The arepas are are honestly the best I've ever had. My lady had Sancocho, I had the Bandeja and we shared beef empanadas. Everything was absolutely delicious. We will for sure be returning !

N

Delicious. Arepas are fantastic--i want one right now-- as is the shrimp and the quesadilla. The tamale needs a little more flavor for my taste. Fortunately there are several sauce options. The margaritas are strong! Beware. The blackberry and passion fruit ones are fabulous. Flavored sugar instead of salt. So good!! This is a chill very, very laid back place. I felt like I could have sat there till morning and they would have been ok. They probably would have brought coffee and sat with us. That kind of place. Very good for my celiac wife. Almost everything is gf

I love this place. I come mostly on weekends because I looooove their soup/sancocho. The owners are awesome. They make you feel like part of the family. The wait can be long but, all hispanics restaurants are like that. We are so used to tables turning every hour that we don't appreciate talking to our companions and enjoying time together. Put your phone away and enjoy!

A
Ashley Sano

Absolutely love this place! I've never had a meal that I didn't like and the costumer service is amazing. The owner is always here and goes above and beyond to make our experience memorable. It's a fun atmosphere and a beautiful spot to enjoy their bottomless mimosas and delectable Columbian coffee (which they refill readily and without prompting). Just this morning a birthday party was scheduled to come in and eat on the outdoor terrace. The owner put up birthday balloons and a banner to welcome them; she was so excited. The empanadas and carnitas are to die for and the rest is just as heavenly. The outdoor heaters also make sitting outside on any type of day possible. We will always come back for more!

What a terrific, little restaurant! The owners brought their Colombian tastes with them to this city and it is terrific. You can enjoy San Clemente's weather, listen to the salsa music or sometimes their live singer, and relaxe with a cold Aguila. The staff is very kind, humble, comedic, and full of energy. The men and women behind grill put their 100 percent effort into the food they craft, and it turns out excellent every time. Whether it is for lunch, dinner, or even breakfast on the weekend, I recommend this gem to everyone. I would also like to boast that they have the best coffee in all of Orange County - or dare I say all of California.

Absolute gem. Cute beach place with excellent food and service. Wife is Celiac and has to eat gluten free. They were knowledgeable of gluten free and had lots of options. I had the Churasco Steak which was cooked perfectly but, the real winner was the homemade chimichuri sauce. Will definitely be back.

Love, love, love this little place! The food is wonderful, filling and very tasty. We make a point to dine at this venue at least once a month. Sure, it might be pricey for those of us who aren't flush with cash, but the food is totally worth it. The owner and her sister are both from Columbia and even import some of the food from the country for true authentic taste. Everything is cooked to perfection and they have something for everyone. Service is fantastic. Bottomless mimosas for Sunday brunch!

Had a wonderful dinner here with my partner. I got very personalized service here. Waiter/bartender Jose sat in front of us and explained the menu to us the next second we shared that we have a plant-based diet. Jose was very nice, knowledgeable, and fun to talk to as a human being. Other employees were incredibly pleasant as well. Food tasted amazing, and I will be coming back to this place more than once for sure!!! Drink that Jose prepared for us were delicious as well!

Always thought highly of the cuisine but the service was always a bit lacking. I respect the slow paced continental dining experience... As long as my beer stays topped off. However, the last time I went with my girlfriend it was fantastic. Honestly, one of the best dining experiences I've had in Orange County. Friendly, sociable, attentive and knowledgeable. But really now we're here for the food aren't we. It is a restaurant after all. The cuisine is indescribable. Menus not long but I haven't had a bad thing on it. He absolute must have is the plantain basket appetizer. I'll give you the choice of meat I suggest all carnitas has the chicken can be a little dry.

The food was exceptional, and the service impeccable! The menu was on the pricey side, but well worth it. Honestly, I coupd have had 2 meals from the portions that were given. The fact that I ate the whole plate is a testament to how delicious each bite was. Normally I can't eat copious amounts of the same dish, but they diversified the flavors, making each bite unique. The servers were not only super friendly, but very attentive - my water was always full. I will definitely be back to try some of their exotic beer selection! This trip I tried their Colombian Latte, and Guanabana which were both delicious.

Amazing. I visit from Seattle once a year and finally got to try it after 5 years. The chimichurri over the steak plantanos bite was insane. Coming from a chef this a great menu. So many options for all taste buds. Staff/owner was very friendly and real. Even the chicken packed flavor I wasn't expecting. Can't wait to go back.

We will be back. I thought this would be a lot like Cuban food. It was unique and yummy. I can't really tell you what I ordered because I don't remember how to say it and I don't know how to say or spell before it's that would be the food. It was amazing. I love the Caribbean beer too. Got to go back and get more familiar and write a more intelligent review. It should be on everybody's Bucket List. It was really amazing and a great night.

Super tasty, authentic Colombian food served in a friendly, family atmosphere. This place is a hidden gem! I was in town for a weekend vacation and staying across the street, thought I'd give this place a try and was not disappointed. We previously lived in Bogota and have never tasted authentic Colombian good since leaving.... until La Colombiana. The food is authentic and delicious. The family and love behind the food really makes it shine. They have 3 generations of family looking on people and serving incredible food. Check it out soon and often.

Z

The place looks rundown and unkempt. I would not bring a girl on a first, second, or third date here. But I would definitely bring them here on evey other. The food at this joint is spectacular. I had Bandeja Columbiana plate and that thing was full of vibrant flavors. The steak was well prepared and perfectly seasoned, the plantains were perfectly salted and the sauces they came with were mouth watering. The egg with beans did not over power the plate but actually complimented it. The only down side was my rice. It was perfect in all ways except one I don't like the pegao (the part of the rice that sticks to the bottom of the pot and gets hard).

David Ochi

Fun local environment with a staff that is attentive and enjoyable. The food is a nice break from the standard Mexican cuisine that is common in Southern California. The quality of the sauces was remarkable and the empanadas are something that you should definitely consider starting with.

YUM! Expect a wait (for both table and food) but it's worth it. The scampi is good, although it was better on previous visit, and the chorizo is amazing, but the surprise star of the show is the little side of aji verde. Slightly pricey but large portions and friendly service even during busy times.

I have had much better Ceviche.... so the recommendations for that are questionable.... The Plantains were great so that recommendation was on point! Had a couple other menu items that were good, but not rush back to explore the whole menu good :/ Staff was fantastic as per other reviews!

We are Colombians trying to live the vegetarian/vegan life. But even still we have to ask, Where is the chicharron? The Bandeja Colombiana was tasty and filling. The Churrasco Colombiano was delicious and enough for one person. The dining in experience was pleasant although the restaurant was a little too cold for us to get comfortable.

A

We stayed at a hotel cross street from this restaurant so we decided to give this a try. The food was good. Big portions. However the menu is not clear some of them when you order it does NOT SPECIFY WHAT MEAT YOU ARE GETTING. The waiter seemed to not have any experience and wasn't helpful in providing information about the food. You're American, you have no experience with other cuisine, so make sure to explain what is the food that the restaurant serves, there's no picture so make sure to be mindful and explain that concept. Unless we asked questions, he would answer. I know what rice and beans are but I don't know what carnitas are and he even didn't bother to explain if it was beef, pork or chicken. The restaurant was pricey. I would NoT go back there due to my unfortunately experience. I love to go to a place when the waiter takes the time to explain things that's when I give big tips.

J

Super delicious Colombian fare in an unsuspecting location! Staff was pleasant and food was served in a timely manner. They must a star for the prices though. The plates are large in the American fashion, so they aren't too overpriced but the Colombian cheese breads (pandebono) at $4+ each is crazy.

We visited for a family lunch, and really enjoyed the authentic Columbian food and the personal service. It is a very small, family-owned restaurant with a limited number of tables, a small bar, and the kitchen is open to the bar and tables. Everything we had was good, and there are vegetarian and meat items on the menu. I recommend that you try the Columbian style plantains.

E

I love this little hole in the wall! Really unique food, fun, friendly, just a great experience. Colombian food is not Mexican. Flavors are more subtle and less spicy. Eat on the patio at sunset and order the fish, maybe some empanadas to start.

I’m biased since I grew up eating my families Colombian food. It was okay, it fulfilled my cravings and there aren’t many options in this area (understandably so). It was as if the ingredients were there but the flavor fell short. If you’re looking for the real Colombian food experience this is still good but it isn’t it. Staff was friendly however we waited awhile for our food.

It was good to see a Colombian restaurant that had added an international twist to our (I am Colombian) traditional food. The restaurant has become popular and probably needs to grow in size to accommodate the demand. The food was good overall, but I will not define it as a "typical Colombian food", there are enough twists and substitutions in the ingredients to make it appeal to an international crowd and/or to replace items that would be more difficult/price to obtain in Southern California, that it did not fulfill my expectations. Also, the owner (a nice, chatty lady), justify the changes not in difficulty to introduce new flavors or the cost of shipping spices or meat cuts, but hides the lack of ingredients on a "non-scientific" approach to "healthy meals." I usually add photos to my reviews, but nothing impressed me enough to take a picture. If you want to try authentic Colombian food, Sabores Colombianos in San Diego (although not as beautiful of a setting/neighborhood as La Colombiana) is a much better option.

We arrived at the place around 6:45 PM, and it was busy. Hostess/waitress was an absolute darling, truly an ambassador for Colombia. While the staff servicing this place was beyond reproach, the food was another thing altogether. Being extremely familiar with Peruvian cuisine, somewhat Argentinian specially their quality beef, Venezuelan while living there, Colombian was yet undiscovered, and even though I had watched Andrew Zimmerman in Bogota, I had not tried their food. Chorizo, $8.95. The description said it was a Colombian pork sausage, served with an arepa (kind of like a sope, a corn dough deep fried). This chorizo lacked all the elements of a decent one. Starting with the flavor, size-like a bun size hot dog, very thin-this was just the beginning of a let down meal. The arepa was hot in temperature, but bland and tasteless. Overly prized, and undeserved. Avoid. 1.5 Stars. Colombian Empanadas, $14? A disgrace compared to the better tasting ones. Basically an arepa, stuffed with long strands of chewy pork, and not a thing more. None of the ingredients mentioned in the description, kind of like hey let’s just throw some stringy and hard to chew pork meat, with zero attributes, and serve it to this innocent trio. Arrived very crispy with some salsa/sauces, none of which would win any prizes any time soon. Overpriced, and very mediocre. 1.5 Stars Plato del Pobre, $10.95. A poor man dish, apparently, that mixed beans and rice together, with slices of boneless grilled chicken, which to be fair tasted decent. Right around this time I started thinking 💭 that this particular cuisine like Venezuelan and Mexican to some extent. 2 Stars. Colombian Tamal, $8.95 a la carte. Big tamal wrapped in banana leaf, half potato twice, extra fat carrot and big chunk of chicken and pork, respectively. This brute in size tamale version was the hardest to swallow. The dough lifeless, did they even forget the salt? Chicken and Pork average at best. Where really good tamales are concerned, they don’t have to worry to be outshined by this version. We purchased two, but 50% remained. 1.5 Stars. Yet, by checking the many glowing reviews for La Colombiana, we incorrectly assumed we were in for a treat. Not at all to be. Business is good, so all I can surmise is that the enthusiasm of the reviewers are a little deceptive. Yes, we could have asked for their $20+ dishes, but I am thrilled we did not fall for it. As mentioned above, nice people working there, but the food...Ay No, Mama Mia! $60 plus with gratuity, acid reducer extra. Water surprisingly acceptable. 2 Stars.

Review from a Colombian: The empenadas are just okay. I really liked they used shredded meat vs ground meat which I have seen used in other places. Shredded meat is how they serve them in Colombia. I found that the filling was lacking flavor. There didn't seem to be refrito inside, just chunks of tomato and onion. The Tamal was a little dry and and the masa was over seasoned. Very peppery and very salty. The pique they serve here is chunky not finely chopped like I'm used to. Overall it was also pretty expensive, 17$ for 4 empenadas. This food is labor intensive and I know from experience how long it takes to make, so I can understand the pricing. I am willing to pay it if the food is excellent - but this just wasn't. I will still give this place another try. Maybe they can work out some of the kinks.

Well! As a Colombian (born and raised) I have to give them two stars for effort. The empanadas aren’t authentic. The salsa was only a large green onion badly chopped and it didn’t even have any salt. What is more disappointing was the price for those four sadly prepared empanadas. The Chorizo was good. I was so excited to come here today because thanks to the pandemic I haven’t been able to go back home, but I just left the place with disappointment.

Really average food and cocktails but what was most upsetting was the price tag. Bill was 120 bucks and for what we ordered in quality should have been $70-$80. Service was average too so maybe 2 stars is too generous.

As a Colombian native, I was expecting to find a kind of my famous country warmth, but, nothing I was disappointed , nobody working there were from Colombia, The cooks looked like Mexicans Nationals, (Nothing wrong with that, but one expects to find at least one Colombian person in the kitchen), the waitress, was American, didn’t speak Spanish. Not That I don’t speak English, sometimes it’s nice to be greeted in your language. The food, terrible, the prices, even worse, we paid over $50 for 2 simple breakfast plates and some bunuelos, those bunuelos were very good, though. I understand that the place is well located, but the price and the food quality, don’t match. It was my first and last time there. The piece of beef that I ordered wasn’t edible.

As a Colombian myself. I would not recommend this place. I went with my brother and they took more than 40 minutes to bring us an appetizer, the place was empty... then the food was not the best and the meat wasn’t cooked well. (I ordered medium well and they gave me a burnt from the outside patty and raw inside) The yuca was also not cooked all the way through. This places is way to expensive for the quality of the food. We where very disappointed. Will not be returning.

I am Colombian and very disappointed with this restaurant, it is not Colombian Cuisine. I took a couple tamales home and to mi surprise they were made with some kind of white dough as masa, dry and tasteless, little dry chicken, no juice meets, eggs and typical favors that make a tamal unique Colombian cuisine. please review your recipes or get a Colombian cook, a good one... As a colombian, I don't recommend this place. We ordered the famous "Bandeja Paisa" and 1st they took like an hour to bring the plate and 2nd they don't have any idea what bandeja Paisa is. The beans are not Colombian beans, and the plate is just not the way it should be. It's expensive and does not represents Colombian food at all.

Service okay, but no air conditioning, over priced, and mediocre "Colombian Theme" food and atmosphere. Fish served was stinking and old, disgusting. The 7hr steak is a cooked piece of beef covered in the same sauce as the fish dish, nothing special. Please don't bother with their special foreign Colombian beers, had 3 different favors which all tasted equally dull. I really hope this isn't true Columbian...

Not authentic Colombian food at all!! First of all most of the items I've tried from this restaurant did not follow traditional recipes. I was born and raised in Colombia. I've been to multiple Colombian restaurants and this has been the most disappointing plus expensive out of all. They made arepas with cheddar cheese and it tasted far from what a traditional arepas should be. The steak was burnt, the rice serving was like a size of a tea cup, and the beans were very watery. None of the dishes really had flavor. Above all, I paid 70$+ dinner for my wife and I. If you're looking for an authentic Colombian food I would recommend the one in San Diego.

I would not recommend this place to nobody especially the Colombian population. It is actually very embarrassing the plates that they serve and say that they are Authentic Colombian plates. To begin the most authentic plate of Medellin Colombia which is where I was born and raise was nothing Colombian. Cheese on top of the beans what?! Feta cheese on the arepa what?! The meat is not even the correct meat to serve with that dish. Beans tasted that came out of a can. Why! Colombian beans are the best when made fresh and right. The meat and chorizo were burned and the dish didn’t even have chicharrón. The platines weren’t even platines they were petacones which is something completely different. NOT TO MENTION THE FOOD IS VERY PRICY. Empanadas cost $17 dollars and they are the tiny empanadas not the actual size empanadas that should of came considering the price of them. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY IN THIS PLACE I WISH I WOULD OF READ MORE OF REVIEWS ON THIS PLACE AND IT WOULD OF SAVED ME A TRIP OF 40 MINS AND OVERALL FOOD PRICE OF $60.

Disappointed & Expensive. The empanada, $5 and is not even a real colombian empanada, the filling came out in one bite. The sancocho was ok but they serve it in a very shallow plate so you barely get any broth. The ceviche is prolly one of the worse and tasteless ceviches I have ever had. The buñuelo, was dry. That + 3 beers is all we got and cane out to be $78 USD... prepare for a expensive and disappointing meal, especially if you are Colombian and craving our food.

We went there the last weekend with our friends. We were 7 and we asked for split the bills. The bill was too expensive. They charged automatically 18% of tip each bill because they said more than 6 people they can do that. So then we asked for the military discount that they have. But they said they could not apply to our bill because we didn't said before eat. The actitud of the owner of the restaurant was really rude and yelling. We never gonna come back to this place. And the juice don't taste like juice is just ice. 😐👎

I was there yesterday and the place and service was good. After waiting more than an hour for our food, the food was not great. Let me start with the arepa it tasted it awful. I have eaten arepas before and this one felt that I was eating the uncooked dough with cheese. The beans didn’t taste good for me needed more spices and salt. I understand they were understaff in the kitchen, but we did not know this after we were already waiting for 30 min. The meat was very good, but this is definitely not the best Colombian food so I don’t get why it even has a 4.5 star.

Wow! This place is a disappointment. I lived, traveled, and eaten all over Colombia. Do NOT order the ceviche. The fish is cooked with heat as opposed to cooking it with lime juice. Ceviche in Colombia and anywhere else in the world is cooked in lime juice. Further, it is overpriced--$15.95 for heated talapia. To add to the experience, the waiter sat a couple directly behind me. They smelled like a wet dog. The same smell that is emitted from a car's air conditioner. I left that place so fast!

When the owners got a new crew to cook everything? Not going back, EVER! Shame, it was a great place. The second, I bit into my empanada???? Nope, & I hadn't even broke all the way thru!!! No, thanks. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!
