We were visiting from Dallas, TX and met up with some friends in Rancho Bernardo. We called ahead to find out when the kitchen would close, since we were looking for a place to eat. Trevor answered and was super friendly. We had a great meal for a party of five: a couple of club sandwiches with onion rings, beef brisket, bbq burger and a basket of fries. The food was good and hot, and the beer was cold. There were a couple of tables to eat outside. There were several pool tables inside, and it appeared to be a locals hangout, nice atmosphere. Trevor was the host, bartender, and server. Did it all in a very friendly manner. I offered to help him out, but he cheerfully declined. I thanked the cook, and was grateful that she kept the kitchen open for us. Nice, tucked away spot, with great food and cold beer.!

A lay back pub, it is has a local vibe. If you have a fancy attitude towards high classic bars, this will not be your place. But if you're a patient person you'll enjoy your time here. Don't take everything personal. Service is standard good, though long waits for service if you want a waiter to help you. Or at the bar, since seems there is one server or may be too and if it's crowded like the time we were there, then patience will be your key. On top of that it's a good place for billiards and pool even groups.

Great Vibe and we love the bartenders, its our normal thursday night! The food is always good and tons of sports on the TVs.

I've stopped in here maybe 5-10 times and the Monday/Tuesday bartender is awesome. Never had a bad time here, the crowd is always chill. There's a patio on the side where you can drink (not visible from the parking lot) which is always a good perk for a bar. Never tried the food. Beer prices are very reasonable.

We have been looking for a local place to play cheap pool and we love Kelly's! Sometimes it's hard to get a table in the evening but that is typical for dive bars. We love getting the happy hour pretzels with the yummy beer cheese. And of course the cheap beer pitchers. For the food, so far we have tried the cheesesteak, reuben and turkey burger and they did not disappoint. We seem to get the same bartender Brittney who is the sweetest ever and is super attentive to us every time. We will be coming back soon!

They be hittin bottlecapes From left to right into the trashcan like three pointers. And don't even get me started on the kickass conversations we behaving. So when you come to this bar it's a vibe.

I honestly can't believe I lived in this neighborhood for two years without ever stepping into Luna & Sage Bistro. From the outside it looks small, but inside it’s cozy, warm, and filled with the smell of fresh herbs and garlic. I came in for a solo dinner on a rainy Tuesday and was blown away. The grilled octopus was tender (not rubbery!) and the citrus glaze on top gave it a bright kick. My server, Natalie, was patient and helpful with wine suggestions and even brought me a free dessert sampler when she found out it was my birthday week. I left full, happy, and already texting friends to come with me next time.

They were kind of understaffed initially, but once we figured that out and walked up to the bar, we got good drinks and yummy food! The Ortega burger was delicious and the mahi mahi tacos were huge! Too busy digging in to take pics! You'll have to go check it out for yourself!

Bartender was super friendly and accommodating. We came in with a large party after a wedding and they were very supportive. Beer was resonably priced and there was a good selection. Tap is mostly standard fare and IPAs but had a number of interesting bottles to fill out the selection.

Tiny bar. For an introvert that's good. Not too many people to deal with. The bartenders are nice. Customers choose the music on a jukebox so the range of music is good. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves.

Typical Irish dive bar. Fish n Chips was great. I'd give it a 8.

Kelly's is one of the best Lil neighborhood type bars in the area. Pool tables and good bar staff along with an always lively atmosphere & good crowd... The I. R. Has a Different pace ain't bad... it's super chill neighborhood bar. , this is a good spot to hang with a friends and have a few.

Open early and close late place. Food is good. Tater bombs- gotta try it. Beers are ok too. Staff is awesome, the crowd that shows are regulars and awesome!!! If you want to go to a bar at 8 am in the morning, or afternoon or at night this is the spot.

It's a dive-style bar that serves food. Our waitress was very nice and kept checking on us. I enjoyed the food, but draft selection was limited to 8 IPAs and a milk stout-not Guinness, either, apparently they ran out before 7pm and didn't replace. If there was more than 1 or 2 non-IPAs to choose from I'd give more stars.

Saw prior reviews, so we went in, sat down, and waited for service. After 8-10 minutes we decided if they did not care, maybe we should not either. Could have been policy to order at the bar, but no sign indicating that. At any rate we decided to leave without prejudice due to the noise level and lack of a server. Give them a go as it could just have been a poor timing incident and other reviews are good.

Pretty good spot. Service varies by who is working. Ownership and staff changes more than ususal. Food is good except wings are not as good as it should be. Has pool and other gamings. Crowd sometimes, not often, can be bit rowdy and can make you uncomfortable. The service I consistentcy is why I am giving them a lower rating. I do go there often.

The food was pretty good overall and there was pool. There was only one bartender though and few other people working when I went. Overall okay.

Average Dive bar.. Not a bad beer selection. I believe they had around 10 to 12 beers on tap. Not bad.. Just kinda overpriced but right in line with other bars unless you know one of those spots with 4 or 5 $$ pints.. I give the spot an average grade for a dive bar. We had 2 beers each and bounced.. I haven't ate here in years but I do remember the wings being good!

Neat sport bar around rancho Bernardo, especially when not many sports bar around. Good selection of beers and other spirits. Nice food, not so great, but goes well with beer. Good options to play here, shuffle board and billiards table. Friendly bartenders, very nice to local people. Happy hour is value for money. Management could do better job, they need to save this business and be more lively

Worst pub in rancho bernardo. Charging $7 for a basic lager and $9 for guiness draft is just robbery. To top it all off when you order guiness you get forgottten about and sometimes the bartender forgets to even pour your drink let alone pour it correctly. Then they don’t even give you any pricing on alcohol you have to ask how much something is it’s not written anywhere.

Been trying to get a hold the manager and owner because they over charged my account and no calls or even an answer I call just about everyday and no one is willing to help or give my money back it’s annoying that the services here is bad. This was a great place 5yrs ago now it sucks which is why I don’t go back and the time I did they charge way extra disappointed in the new management. Highly recommended a better bar

Its Ok,.... Bartender "noticed" me (a non local) only after serving several others, going to the backroom, serving several others... well, you get the idea. If you're not a Local, don't expect good service. Too bad. Isn't that another form of Discrimination?

This is not it. The bartender would leave the bar and go chat with the regulars every chance she got. I’ve had better service in fully packed bars than being here when it was pretty dead. Felt like the kind of place that the show Bar Rescue should come to
