Where to begin!?! First the ladies working here are incredibly sweet, kind and helpful. My first time trying Kakigori and it was outstanding. Fluffy soft snow that melts in your mouth with real fruit throughout. I had a mango and strawberry combo with milk syrup and sweet condensed milk. Although I’m just in town visiting from Orlando for the weekend, my buddy who shared it with me lives here in San Diego and will be bringing his kids back. Thank you for a great experience!
Staff is so friendly and had great suggestions. All of the syrups are house made and delicious. We shared the mango and matcha between 3 people which was the perfect size. The mango was so fresh and the matcha had some of the best red bean I've ever had. Highly recommend!
This is a small cozy dessert place that has Japanese shaved ice with ice cream in it. They’re known for their polar bear design and a small cup of strawberry syrup that you can pour over. This was very good, simple, and refreshing we will be visiting again.
Came here for a super delicious and light dessert after lunch and loved it! The staff were helpful and the food came out quick. We shared the shaved iced between 2 people but it could easily be shared with 3-4 depending on how hungry everyone is. Can't wait to try more flavors!
This evening we stop by to have Japanese Shaved Ice known as Kakigori. We have always wanted to try them and they are delicious. I had my eye on the Strawberry bear which has a great Strawberry Flavor. Chuck had the Chocolate parfait which had bananas and cereal. That was flavorful as well and the chocolate was delicious. The restaurant is not big but there are two small rooms with several seating areas. We had a little laugh as we noticed that each of the table tops were decorated differently. We sat at one's with Rubber Duckies and a bear in the middle. The service has been great and the staff are always very welcoming. We will definitely return again.
Dessert Gem Alert – LOLI Bar This place was awesome. Let’s start with the decor and ambiance — it honestly felt like I stepped into a cozy little spot in Japan. Small, cute, and authentic. The resin tables and artwork were such a nice touch. You can tell they cared about the details. Now… the desserts. Being our first time here, we found a new love. We tried the mango shaved ice and it blew us away. It wasn’t overly sweet — just decadent and refreshing. This wasn’t your average pile of shaved ice with syrup. It tasted like they froze actual cream and shaved that. The texture? Wow. Just 👌. Topped with fresh mango and a surprise crunchy cereal topping — it was a 10/10 experience. 5 out of 5 easy. We’ll definitely be back — not a one and done Wishing we had tried more!
Dude! OMG! this place is epic. Who new shaved ice can be made to taste so delicious, and that's just where it starts. Hanika and Noah where very helpful and never made me once feel dumb for asking noob questions.
Best shaved ice in San Diego hands down. Probably the best dessert place too. Fresh ice and fruits! Ice straight from Japan! Ice melts with ease. No brain freeze. Stays cool long enough where there is no puddle of ice at the bottom of your bowl! Will be back!
Amazing Kakigori! Such fun flavor combinations, and festive menu options for Halloween. I absolutely loved my Spooky Raspberry Cheesecake, and my husband still can't stop talking about his Japanese Autumn flavor. We will definitely be back soon!
Right off the bat, the atmosphere is welcoming, warm, immersive, and cute! There are partitions giving each table a sense of privacy. Additionally, there is a good mix of classic and unique flavor options. I had the S'more Kobocha chai one and loved it! The servings are sharable but they also have smaller options.I Highly recommend this place, I will be returning soon!
Good quality Japanese shaved ice with cute interior and plenty of seating. We got the seasonal POG flavor
The Kakigori here is legit. We tried the strawberry one and it tasted very authentic, just like Japan. Creamy and fluffy with enough strawberry sauce, do not be intimidated by it’s size. You can and will eat one entire thing, I guarantee. There are a few flavor to choose from, so I’m sure anyone can be pleased, and can come here at least a few times before getting bored of the flavors. They may have seasonal flavors, I didn’t ask, but a lot of Kakigori places in Japan do that. The space is cozy and ambiance is nice, I’ll be back to fill up on Japanese shaved ice!
A cute & tucked away Japanese dessert spot with the best aesthetic that transforms you out of San Diego. It does get quite busy so be mindful of timing and seating. I would recommend going with smaller groups (less than 3 people). We ordered the strawberry shaved ice with the teddy bear face (so cute!), matcha drink (very rich) and the fruit sando. I would say the shaved ice was the best out of the three!
Sweet and creative treats that are always very adorably decorated. There’s fun stuff in the middle and great to share if you want a sweet treat that’s not as heavy as ice cream. Always enjoy there season stuff. We got the strawberry, match, and coffee one between 4 of us and they were all quickly gone.
The matcha was really really good! The mango was also pretty good but MNGO does it better (unsurprisingly). Still, would definitely come back here!
Really amazing place to get shaved ice! I got the Mango flavor and it was really good, my friend got the bear and it was also really good! It is an intimate space, it makes you feel like you’re in Japan. Highly recommend this spot!
Delicious dessert. Very light and refreshing.

Whenever we’re craving quality shaved ice (ice is shipped from Japan) then we come here. The character bowls are filling so you will want to share with another since they have fillings inside and the syrups are of good consistency.
We got the coffee & strawberry kawaii cups and they were both delicious! Super refreshing for a hot day <3 The employees were so friendly too!

Seriously delicious Japanese shaved ice! We are from out of town and always stop by Ko-Li bar when we are in the area. It’s a must try!

Recently came with a friend. Enjoyed their Japanese dessert. Flavors were great. Their strawberry sauce was delicious. Also got their chocolate parfait, and cantaloupe shaved ice. Only thing that we didn't enjoy is when the shave ice would accidentally fall onto the wooden trays. Wished they would use different tray for sanitary reasons. Also, fruit flies, they were flying around my friend while she was eating. It wasn't a pleasant experience for her to eat dessert. But would recommend to try !
Probably more of a 4.5/5. Would definitely recommend to anybody who loves shaved ice / shaved snow to give it a try. I recently came here on a hot, summer day got the Strawberry Bear and also the Manga shaved ice menu items to share with a group of 4. Everything was generally solid / delicious. Portion sizes are fair for the price you pay. My main / only complaint was that I wish they gave just a tiny bit more pieces of fruit in the mango one. After eating about halfway through, it definitely felt less generally flavorful since all the mango syrup + cream had been consumed off the top. I think there was only like 3-4 pieces of mango and probably would've been more willing to give this a 5/5 if there was at least an option to add more fruit, even if it was on the side that I could add on later.

A small, dessert place that serves Japanese shaved ice. The place is a little dark but gave the feeling of you being in Japan with its decor. The shaved ice are definitely shareable, especially if you get the large one. The cup ones were still shareable, in my opinion. I think it's a little costly for what it is but it's worth a try. I've visited this place a few times and tried a different flavor each time. I liked the matcha flavor the most. I liked how the flavors aren't too sweet but depending on the fruit season, sometime some fruit flavors are not as good. Also, in the past, they served fruit sandos and they were delicious. However, I haven't seen them since. Maybe they're seasonal as well?
