Food was amazing for a late night eats. Came here after Niteharts festival at SnapDragon. The atmosphere is dimly lit and lively, with karaoke rooms on one side of the restaurant. We ordered the Seafood and kimchi pajeon, beef bone soup with ramen, kimchijjigae, and bibimbop. The portions are huge but we managed to big back it all. There were side dishes as well, but we were never offered refills on it. Seems like service is operated with a button setup to streamline their workflow, where there’s a service button for: water, bill, server. Overall solid place that closes late.
So good… eating out in San Diego is a bit expensive, especially when your food is often disappointing. Min Sok Chon was did not disappoint! With large portions of food, and additional side dishes. My beef short ribs came out sizzling and the flavor was on point! Some of the best Korean style short-ribs I have had. And the Tokyo Tea was a new try for me, a yummy green drink that has a hint of green apple and Mountain Dew flavor that went great with the food. There was a chill ambiance and private tables so I was able to get some work done while I was up late.
This is the best popcorn chicken I have ever had in my entire life (also one of the best pajun!!) Come here and share plates with your friends. It will be so fulfilling.
The food was amazing, portions are big and the food is super hearty! Great playlist
A hidden gem in Convoy! With a GORGEOUS layout, incredible flow, and one of, if not THE best Soju menus in San Diego. Oh, and did I mention there’s Karaoke as well?
It is a good spot for a date. The seating area at the booths provides some privacy for a couple. The security person was so kind and he recognized us although that was our second visit. The food is served in a reasonable portion, and they have plenty of options for high protein meal. I ordered a bossam and the homemade dumplings. Bossam was delicious, and the dipping sauces were great. I personally don't like the dumplings because of the ingredients in them. I thought they could have used beans or rice as the filling, but I'm not so sure about that. The dipping sauce for the dumpling was too sweet for me. Overall, it was a great experience.
This place is so cute on the inside! The atmosphere is great to hang out with anyone & the food is real good as well!
Min Sok Chon Food was great. The big pots are more than enough for two. Saw the people next to us left some behind and learned why when we ordered one ourselves. The bonchon (side dishes) were different than traditional Korean options and there was only 4 of them which was weird. But, they’ll refill them you ask. The large soju was a full carafe and delicious at first. But, we quickly realized it’s mostly juice and then it was just painful to drink. It’s nice to have buttons on the table to call for help when needed. Which all restaurants would do that. We went when they were playing hip-hop which I enjoy but some people might not.
The portions are massive! Food is good. Great place to go with friends or to share plates. The flavored soju is really good too! The music and atmosphere is fun. I'd go back.
This place is sooooooo good!!!! Can't wait to come back and try other items on the menu. They also have a huge selection of soju flavors, gotta try that. They open for dinners only and stay open late . Cool spot , recommend

I'd give a solid five-star rating just for the awesome budaejungol experience. And let's not forget the super cool call button that summons food, the bill, or my all-time favorite: water! Plus, the music and vibes were absolutely on point! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🔔💧🎶😄
Overall not a bad meal, but nothing that made me want to share with everyone i know. The portions are pretty large; every dish we got is made to be shared. Between 3 people we had a lot of left overs. The japchae was one of the highlights of the meal as they were well seasoned and not too greasy as that's been an issue at other restaurants. The bulgogi wings are good, tasty, sticky, and enough we had about half left. The potstickers weren't anything amazing. Incredible large where I just had to hold it with me hand and sauce to dip was lacking compared to others. Bibimbap is a massive serving! There was plenty to go around and to also take to go. We did get an order of the soft tofu soup and while it is seafood it is an overwhelming taste and smell of it. So much it kind of was inedible which is unfortunate of the cost and size to waste. Overall a big area this is offers karaoke rooms which aren't as sound proof as I would've expected. They have a call button for each table which is nice to only call over when you actually needed them. Again the pricing really only justified the portions and not so much the flavor, but I'm not entirely dissatisfied. It was still a filling meal.
A good destination for dining at a late night since it's open till 2 am. We came around 11 pm as there are still many seats available. There would be some K-pop songs playing ad BGM here. One thing to mention is the staff did not offer us appetizers until we ordered our dishes. We tried the bulgogi chicken and it's large in size with the chopped chicken thigh and onions. We tried the famous Seafood Pajun as it's large in size but it cost too much as $25. The Beef Bone Soup is great as there would not be too much oil and the beef is lean. The soft tofu soup is just all right. However, we ordered one bowl of white rice which did not come yet but showed on the receipt as Free Rice :(
It's very dark late night spot, with loud music and club atmosphere. I like they have some private rooms for a large party. The foods there are nice, I like my bibimbap. But their side dishes are little disappointing. There're only 4 side dishes with pretty small amount of foods in it. I asked to refill the cucumbers, the waitress didn't really bring it to us, maybe here is different than other Korean restaurant and doesn't do the side dish refill? Overall, it's a nice spot, but I hope the service could be better.
A fun Korean soju bar/restaurant to eat, drink, and vibe. The drinks and the food aren't anything special but the late night convoy vibes hit right here. Alien Juice/Area 51: Get Just good flavored mixed soju drink that'll be an easy crowd pleaser. Galbi Short ribs: Get Always a good choice, you can't go wrong with these flavorful and savory ribs. Bossam: Maybe? It's a lighter option than the above that's way less savory, it was enjoyable as well. Maybe you'll feel more healthy because it's a wrap lol Service was great in the beginning with a really friendly and nice guy but then changed to a stand off ish and curt dude after. Food: 6/10 Service: 5/10 Atmosphere: 7/10 Value: 6/10
No more karaoke!!! Boo! Came here on a Sunday night hoping to get a karaoke room and were told that their karaoke rooms were still closed. So disappointed. We ordered 5 dishes for 5 people. Fast service, food came out quickly. Kim chi fried rice is a must!!! Not impressed by the rest of the food.
Went with a large party around 5 PM and wasn’t very busy which was nice. The Seafood Pancake, Tteokbokki, Fried Chicken and Bossam were definitely the highlights of our meal. Portions were very large and generous. Atmosphere is very dark and karaoke-like, and service was pretty attentive.
Really good food. I recommend the beef bulgogi and dumplings. Has a rickshaw atmosphere with hip hop music playing in the background.

We arrived about 30 minutes after they opened and we were seated right away. The smell of Fabulouso was very overwhelming. The service was OK, we asked 2 times for a sauce that we never received. They charged us for the sauce, but removed it once we let them know it was never received. They charged us beef broth soup wasn’t very flavor able and the glass noodles were very starchy.
This place is only good for ambiance and drinks, It was my first time here and I regret so much eating here. First the glasses smel like bleach I order ramen and the bowl smelled like bleach and even worse it tasted like bleach!!!! My friend ordered Fried rice with shrimp and it was salty with no other flavor.. I also had dumplings and the ones from costco taste better, I dont like leaving this kind of reviews but i wish i knew this before coming here and leaving all of my food without touching it.Definitely I do not recommend food here.
Came here on a Sunday night. Ordered 2 main dish and a dish of fried rice to go with it. First main dish came by and was informed there’s no more rice for another hour. Our main dishes are somewhat on the heavy side of taste, it’s almost uneatable without the rice, so we ask them to cancel our second main dish and give us the check so we can go somewhere else. We then got informed that our second main dish is already cooked and they won’t be able to refund/cancel it and there’s nothing they are willing to do beside handing us the check. We understand that sometimes things happens at a busy restaurant environment, but not offer any alternative on a mistake that’s on your end and did not even apology is definitely not a way to treat your customer.
