I celebrated my birthday at Galpão Gaucho Brazilian Steakhouse for the first time, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish! From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, setting the tone for a fantastic evening. The selection of meats was outstanding, and everything we tried was perfectly cooked and flavorful. The highlight of my night was the 24-karat steak, prepared right in front of us on Himalayan salt—it was absolutely delicious! The grilled pineapple and the grilled cheese with honey were also incredible, adding a perfect balance of sweet and savory. To top it all off, my drinks were phenomenal, complementing the meal perfectly. Overall, I highly recommend Galpão Gaucho for an amazing dining experience. Can’t wait to go back!

As others have stated it is the best Brazilian Steakhouse I have been too. I tried everything except garlic steak. My top 4 favorites in order were the ribeye, lamb, pork ribs, and beef rib. All of the food was amazing and on par or surpasses Steak 48, RPM, Mortons, or Lou and Mickey's. Amazing overall meal. Don't forget to get your 24K steak 🤑

That is my first time for the 10 years that I tried delicious meat and shrimps. I almost swallowed my tongue from how delicious it was. And special Golden Steak was cherry on the top. Awesome dinner, definitely worth every penny.

The salad bar was also packed with fresh options that complemented the meal perfectly. There was so much to try, and every bite was absolutely delicious. The staff was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our dining experience. It truly made my birthday celebration special. I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for an authentic and memorable Brazilian steakhouse experience. I will definitely be coming back!

Enjoyed our July 4th authentic Brazilian lunch experience. Unlimited meats, wide array of gourmet salad bar items, and side dishes (cheese bread/mashed potatoes) Pork Sausage/lamb chops garlic picanha/rib-eye/fillet mignon wrapped in bacon/grilled shrimp were all tender and well seasoned. 5/5 Crispy candied bacon: so good! 5/5 I wasn’t a fan of the bottom sirloin and most especially the 24 karat golden steak which is the least tasty/favorite of all the meats we tried. 3/5 I thought price was regular $55 lunch but since it was July 4th, it was $75 which is still worth it because of the outstanding dining experience! Staff were courteous, welcoming, and attentive. Will definitely coming back! Free holiday parking!

Peak service and fine dining experience. All the staff were so attentive to my gf and I's lunch date here. I felt like a priority and that's saying something since they were juggling other customers. The staff made excellent recommendations on the fly like their Brazilian soda Gurana Antartica. It was a great way to explore dining somewhere new with a new experience. When my gf and I thought we were finished eating and we saw an amazing steak on the floor, the staff got us extra plates just for us to try. my gf also asked for a Midori Sour and they delivered and the bartender delivered quickly the moment he heard it a good 4 feet away at the bar without missing a beat. We loved it here. 5 stars across the board.

This isn't the first time I visited Galpao Gaucho for lunch. The staff were quicker than expected to help me and my dad out with drinks and appetizers (bread.) There was so much meat, even a food bar yet so delicious. Only though the staff came every 2 minutes to give us food, it was amazing and for the second time I've never experienced such quick service. I'd only regard our waitress being barely seen to check up on us. Long story short, this might be one of the best Brazil steakhouses in San Diego and yet I highly recommend this.

Food was seasoned well and cooked to perfection. They often offer the good cuts of meat and take requests. Highly recommend ending with the honey cheese and/or the honey glazed pineapple. The salad bar is clean, we'll organized, and fully stocked. Lots of choices and none of them are bad. I will be coming back.

Definitely a must try in San Diego if you’re looking to try a variety of different meats! I was surprised to see they had grilled salmon and grilled shrimp as well to try in their 18 selections from the grill. They also had bacon wrap chicken. They also have lamb and pork. My favorite was the 24K Gold steak, The bacon wrapped filet mignon and the grilled shrimp! The salad bar was fresh everything was stocked up! A variety of cheeses, salads and other sides! The shrimp from the salad bar is a must try! The chicken salad was good too. Definitely coming back! Don’t forget to try the 24K gold steak! Service was top notch very attentive and great customer service!

Dining here is more than just enjoying great food—it’s an experience. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy incredible flavors and unique touches in a warm, elegant setting. My husband and I visited Galpão Gaucho Brazilian Steakhouse on Valentine's Day, and it was an incredible experience! I was particularly excited as it was my first time trying Brazilian steaks, and this restaurant did not disappoint. The ambiance is fantastic, with elegant decorations and a clean environment that made our dining experience even more enjoyable. The staff were amazing and incredibly helpful, especially since it was our first visit. They took the time to explain the various meats as they came to our table, which enhanced our experience. Some of my favorite items included the delicious cheese bread, grilled pineapple, golden steak, lamb chops, and chicken wrapped in bacon. The salad bar was also impressive, offering a wide variety of options to choose from. Overall, Galpão Gaucho made our special day even more memorable. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience!

My Sister and Brother-in-law gifted my husband and I to dinner at Galpao Gaucho tonight to celebrate our 50th Wedding Anniversary. I have to say we were so impressed with all the Customer Service staff and the Servers who were all so kind, attentive and personable. This Brazilian Steakhouse had impeccable service and the food was so amazing. I’ve always liked Fogo de Chao, but Galpao Gaucho exceeded way past our expectations; I highly recommend to all who love Brazilian cuisine, to give this place a try. You can’t go wrong. The variety of drinks and desserts offered was well over the top as well.

We had a great experience here! We went for NYE dinner and had the best time. All waiters were very nice and quick. We did the “experience” for $77 pp and loved the rib eye the most of all the meats, and the pineapple was absolutely amazing. The salad bar was well stocked, we decided to focus on the meats though. All in all, we had a wonderful dinner experience!

There’s also a buffet station with various salads, cheeses, and other sides. The meal was so satisfying! The restaurant is located near Seaport Village, making it perfect for a stroll after eating. Plus, the restaurant covers 75% of the parking fee.

Very consistent service of meat and they definitely listened when we requested picanha. I ordered caprioska and they kept asking if I meant caprihena. I get it I'm white but damn people do know what they mean when it's the third drink. They kept trying to upsell a passion fruit or mango version which my buddy got and it was disgusting. The caprioskas were very good. About me I've been to churrascarias in Rio, Sao Paulo, Recife and a ton of places in between. And obviously many in the states. This was upper mid. I will prefer Rei do Gado until something better comes along.

I had a party of 16 yesterday with a reservation for 5:45 and once we were seated, all the meats literally came at once. No lie, every worker came within the first 3 minutes and flooded us with meat. It was chaos! We had like 6-7 meat carvers at our table, the waiters pouring the wine at the same time too. It was really hard to enjoy the food and we didn’t want to miss out on any foods in case they didn’t come back. It would have been a much more relaxing dining experience if they slowed the pace down instead of trying to rush all the food at once. Maybe they did this because we had a group of 16, but I definitely won’t be back with a group. I’ve been before with just a couple people and had a pleasant experience, but never this large of a group.

The price-to-experience ratio is too high. Having eaten at other Brazilian Steakhouses that were less than half the cost, I'm not quite sure what I was paying for. The service? No, they brought out my dessert about 10 minutes after my wife's. The food? It was good. But I never even had a sniff of the golden steak. And not twice as good as Rodizio or Tucanos. Overall, a disappointing experience.
