This place is a must-visit for an authentic açaí bowl experience. I was looking for a refreshing and cool bowl, and I left very satisfied. Their açaí base is packed with flavor and clearly made from fresh ingredients. It wasn’t too sweet, which made it feel healthy. They also make their own peanut butter and granola, which I thought was a nice touch. I tried their Cupuaçu base, which is derived from the cacao plant and is the national fruit of Brazil. It had a chocolaty and melon-like taste that I really enjoyed. The service was friendly, and I could tell that the people who worked there were passionate about their work. I’m very grateful to have tried this spot!

The American Açaí Cafe was SO good! The staff were so friendly which really made the experience so enjoyable. They were able to answer my questions about the ingredients in the granola since I’m allergic to nuts. Unfortunately there are Brazil nuts so did not get any granola but got the açaí and unlimited toppings - so worth the value. I also liked how it wasn’t too sweet! I’ll definitely visit when I’m back in San Diego!

There is a reason this Cafe has been consistently given 5/5 stars. We got the American Acai with protein. Both our reactions was "This is incredible". The honey cinnamon latte is also amazing. Great service. Very friendly.

My (new) wife and I were in San Diego Pacific Beach for our mini-moon. As with all of our beach vacations, we find Acai Bowl locations to commemorate our stay since we don't have many options for good Acai in Minnesota. This place was recommended on Reddit and was very close to the pier cottages we stayed at. When I tell you that this place was INCREDIBLE, I mean it. We went twice during our stay and both times we were met with incredible service, the freshest and most authentic tasting Acai in North America. The gentleman who assisted us was there both times and he remembered us from our first visit and was very grateful for our kind words and our second visit. The Acai Bowls themselves, we ordered the medium (16oz) bowls and we could decide to go with a house-made favorite or a build your own. The build your own was the same price and you could ask for any of the toppings for no additional cost which is a rarity. My wife got a house favorite, The American and she added coconut shavings. I had a Build Your Own with almost every topping they had. Again, the fruit and Acai was so fresh!! Highly recommend stopping here and bringing it to the pier to watch the surfers and the waves. We will definitely be back.

Very delicious Açaí, bit melted but don’t mind at all. The place it’s quiet and bit cozy, it was a single guy both the register and serving so it took some time taking orders, preparing them and getting supplies from the back room. I didn’t mind this at all, it was a holiday and guess that’s why he was by himself. Got myself into reading and didn’t felt so long of a waiting time after all

Simply the BEST açaí you’ll find in all of San Diego. They don’t miss. The quality is top notch, sourced straight from Brazil, and you can tell! All the pastries and drinks are amazing too, and the guys are super friendly! Not to mention, you can get the newest drink craze in the game, Innerbloom!

If you are tryin’ to find a place to get authentic Açai from, then look no further. This place is absolutely divine! While visitin’ from out of town, I went to this place several times and interacted with multiple staff members. Everyone is friendly, but more than that they are authentic and genuine. Customer service will be the reason this place continues to succeed and Henry is a huge part of that. He’s a hell of a leader and has put together a solid team. But don’t take my word for it though, please experience this place for yourself. And here’s a last note for açai lovers… Add paşoquinha! ✨

The acia cup was DELICIOUS 🤤 I also got the Honey Cinnamon Latte which was amazing too <3 Our server, Caio was super friendly. My dad wasn't sure what he wanted in the acai cup, so he told Caio to make it however he wanted. Caio made sure my dad wasn't allergic to peanut butter and explained it was made in house along with the granola which he was going to add to my dad's order. He was very courteous and mindful about making sure he made something my dad would like. He was quick with our order, made sure after we had a few bites and sips that we liked/enjoyed our food and drink, and was very polite and made sure to say goodbye to us when we left. We will definitely be coming back because of the food and superb service! I recommend this place to anyone who loves acai!

Pure and real acai, sweetened with organic sugar cane and banana,no shady or overloaded with sugar, and so delicious! Also the other base is yummy and packed with antioxidants. It's called cupuacu, try it! The staff is knowledgeable and helpful.

Really delicious açaí with unlimited toppings makes this place such a sweet deal! The granola is excellent — perfectly crunchy and flavorful. This has become our go-to açaí bowl spot in San Diego. Great sit down area too. Always fresh, satisfying, and consistent every time we visit!

They have homemade granola and peanut butter which sets it leagues above! On top of that, it’s unlimited toppings so you can pick what you love without having to worry about the price adding up. I felt bad about arriving 5 minutes before closing, but their service was super friendly and welcoming!! I didn’t feel rushed at all, the gentleman asked me how I’m doing and let me order all the toppings I wanted. They didn’t close early, and the other gentleman handed me my açaí order with a smile! I even got to chat with them a bit saying I was super excited to try their açaí and homemade ingredients. Once I got to my car, I literally couldn’t stop eating it - it was so delicious and each bite had some type of toppings!! I can’t wait to be back, tasty açaí bowl, great price, and friendly service! 🙏❤️

Great acai spot in PB. The staff are super helpful and love to share about their menu! They offer a lot of Brazilian specialty toppings that you wouldn't find at other stores. The interior is very clean with seating. Main thing is that the acai is $14+, so I could not afford to eat it everyday :(

This is the real deal. Wife is from Belém where this all comes from and can verify. Not adulterated açaí or cupuaçu. The first place in the US I've ever experienced this. Super friendly staff. Top notch coffee. Lots of pre and post workout drinks for PB locals.

As a Brazilian-American who loves açaí and is always looking for a little piece of Brazil everywhere I go, this is the best I’ve had in California! I highly recommend pairing it with a warm coxinha. All around wonderful with the friendly staff, great music, and relaxing ambience!

Personal preference- I prefer harder açaí and this was very soft but had a good taste. Great granola, fresh fruit which was good quality but could have been more of it. Friendly helpful staff.

Dirty place (them chairs at the entrance are extremely dirty). The pastries are unexistent, service is very slow, and the coffee is mediocre at best. Oh, btw, I saw Kirkland coffee products, I thought they served Brazilian stuff? 1/5
