I decided to try (Habibi Yalla Libanese Original) after all the social media buzz, and I have to say: it genuinely intrigued me. Some relatives live nearby, but due to timing constraints and the often long queues, going in person wasn’t an option this time. And here’s my first expert note: if you’re short on time, this might not be the most practical stop. That said, if you do have time, the place itself is absolutely worth experiencing. So I opted for delivery instead. The delivery service was flawless. On time, precise, and with truly impressive packaging: elegant, eco-friendly, and clearly thought through. That already set expectations high, and thankfully, the food fully lived up to them. The shawarma was simply sublime. Easily one of the best I’ve ever had, and I’ve tried quite a few across different cities, including places that pride themselves on almost homemade-level quality. What I really appreciated is the philosophy behind it: you can choose the meat, but the filling remains the same. That’s not a limitation, it’s a statement. It respects the original Lebanese balance of flavors and lets you experience the dish the way it’s meant to be eaten. The hummus deserves a special mention. Both versions were outstanding. The classic one had a deep, creamy flavor with a beautiful sesame aftertaste. The eggplant version was just as impressive, with smoky, rich notes that felt bold but perfectly controlled. Two of the best hummus variations I’ve had, full stop. And then there’s the Dubai chocolate. Honestly? Sublime. Especially considering it’s packaged. Rich, indulgent, and clearly crafted with the same attention as the savory dishes. Habibi Yalla isn’t just riding the hype wave. There’s real quality, coherence, and respect for tradition behind it. The flavors are confident, the execution is precise, and even the delivery experience feels premium. Of course, popularity comes at a cost. Queues can be long, and if you’re in a rush, it may test your patience. My smarter suggestion? Either plan a relaxed visit when you can truly enjoy the place, or do exactly what I did: delivery first, dine-in later. That way, you don’t let logistics ruin an otherwise excellent experience. I’ll definitely be back, next time without rushing, to fully enjoy the atmosphere as well. Well done to the whole team.
I've got to know about Habibi from Instagram but never got a chance to check the real thing until today. Luckily enough we were early so we immediately got a table. After looking at an incredibly rich menu we got an appreciated help from our waiter and opted for lamb neck (18 hours cooked) tasting menu. The appetisers were colorful and tasty, and the lamb deliciously tender and cooked to perfection. We definitely need to get back to explore the endless menu.
Really nice place, recently renovated desig n
Best kebap i've ever tasted, will come back for more!
Habibi Yallah , Best shawarma in Italy ! Dema was absolutely outstanding! His kindness, professionalism, and incredible courtesy made our experience unforgettable. If you’re lucky enough to be served by him, you’ll see what true hospitality feels like! 👏
Excelent food, very nice staff, very nice restaurant. I recomend it gladly!
a very elegant and comfortable place, the food was very tasty and I especially liked the falafel
Location is wonderful outside and inside. Service is perfect, staff is super kind and explains everything. Food is superlative, meat is perfectly spiced and high quality, the bread isn't gummy at all. Really feels like eating in a super reastaurant in the middle east. It's the third time i come, I'll come again without any doubt
Food was amazing and tasty, meat and salads, Falafel was very good. Service was nice, kind people, they gave us opportunity to seat immediately even with lot of people. Location is cozy, great atmosphere.
🌯🌯Best libanese cuisine I've ever eaten in Milan!🌯🌯 Whether you are in the mood for a full course meal or if you simply need to eat something truly special and made with love on the go, this is the place. The meat is EXTRAORDINARY, ingredients are extremely high quality and the shawarma is FANTASTIC ( you might have to wait a bit for takeaway but the wait is made easier by the fantastic frontman Davide who's always super friendly and happy to have a chat)
My wife and I were excited to find an authentic Lebanese restaurant in Milano and Habibi didn’t disappoint! Happy days. Everything was delicious and the experience overall was wonderful. We can’t wait to return. Grazie Mille!
Food is great, we took family box, the fries are so good and shawarma is just unique. So hard to get delivery we came 3 times!
I was pleased with the customer service and atmosphere but the food wasn't for me, would've preferred steak cooked better and overall everything else had a bit too much salt in it. Had to wait in the queue for 20+ minutes as well
We had shawerma, falafels and hummus that was not particularly tasty but ok. Service was good and fast. Place neat, clean with plenty of light.
Good food but in the evening it's very expensive for a restaurant in a terrible place like San Donato
The place is only open for lunch time for dine-in and for dinner time they do only takeaway and deliveries. I guess it would be better if they indicate that somehow on google maps this information. The atomosphere of the place is really nice even though i didnt eat there its a pity you cant have dinner there. The shawarma wasnt really the lebanese shawarma i expected, took the chicken shawarma but it didnt have toume (garlic cream) in it and also the pickled cucumber was missing which is essential in any shawarma, instead it had salad and tomatoes inside it which is more like a piadina kebab. The chicken inside was also not according to a real lebanese shawarma, tasted more like some spiced up curry shawarma. Overall great place and service and quality which is good to see in Milan but basics are a bit missing with food. Also hummus wasn’t really the best tasted very sour.
Update: We got served raw chicken, I felt the manager im guessing, could just have just apologised instead of arguing with me, that it's ok to serve raw chicken. Absolutely crazy, a simple apology instead of argument goes a long way. Please get better at customer service & take accountability where it's needed. Update: this is exactly the passive aggressive gas lighting replies you can expect for saying anything is wrong. I had just came from work, my mam was eating the chicken, it could of been very serious if we didn't spot this. Please just protect your customers!!! I only told management cause the waiter tried to tell me it was cooked. I will be spreading the word in my work place about you trying to say I was drunk & the raw chicken. Respect your customers!!!!!!
There is nothing authentic or original about the food in this place. In general, overly spiced to hide the taste of poor quality meats and vegetables. Salads and sandwiches that are not made the authentic Lebanese way. Nothing wrong with that, but don't make yourself out to be authentic lebanese cuisine when you are not. To top everything off, the owner was rude and arrogant - definitely not characteristics of a true and honorable Lebanese man.
