Guilty pleasure of the fast food chains for me as I really enjoy their rotating and usually interesting 5 dollar meal deals. Jack in the Box kind of reminds me of 50's type diners just thinking about that slice of cheesecake that they offer as a dessert and the style of the franchise as far as their color scheme and tapestry. This location is like a diamond in the rough. Easy going staff. Quite the nice traffic passing through here. I enjoyed my evening on this visit.

I had a tow truck with a car hooked up. They had the door closed around 12 noon. But they let me get in and order inside because my tow truck would not fit through the drive thru. I ordered and used the restroom. Clean place. I would come again. Thank you for letting me order inside even when you did not allow people to go inside.

Very friendly workers, and quick with the burgers, also the Oreo Mint is a great shake but very heavy, I drank a large one a few days ago and that nearly ended me but damn it was good.

I had a mix up with my order where I was charged for someone else order and I didn't realize it until I got home. I called and the manager was very understanding and apologetic. She gave me a refund for the difference for the whole ordeal. In the end I still end up there at least once a week lol

I’m updating my review after taking a break from Jack in the Box for a few months to kick the fast food habit. We recently decided to give this location another shot, and I’ve placed three online orders this month. Unfortunately, all three had something missing. Today, it was one of the chicken sandwiches from the 2 for $10 deal. I really hate having to stop the line and dig through my bags before leaving, but it’s looking like I’m going to have to start doing that just to make sure everything’s correct. It’s frustrating to come back, spend my money here, and still walk away disappointed more often than not. That being said, I do want to give a shout-out to Erica — she’s the only one who gets my order right every time. She’s the bright spot in an otherwise inconsistent experience.

I stopped by this Jack In the Box location today to pick up my mobile order. I got the jalapenos popper for my wife and the jack spicy chicken burger. I also got their Oreo shake. The drive thru pickup was simple and quick. The food was made correct and tasted great. The Oreo shake is only good when it's cold.

Received my food the way I ordered it. I was interrupted a few times by a team member at the drive-thru while I was ordering.

The girl that handed me my order did not respond to my greeting, she just walked away.

The guy has a real thick accent and is hard to understand and he is not a good listener. The tacos aren't being cooked long enough they are cool not warm or hot as they should be. They forget what you order sometimes even though it's on the screen..Training, more training is needed!! Also if your working the register touching money, you should not be working with or touching any food unless its wrapped!

They need to improve their customer service, ppl there are always in a bad mood even tho we are polite to them, she got the order wrong went back and they still rolled their eyes.

Food felt a little cold bout time we got home, I had to microwave it. Other than that it was tasteful.

The fries were very stale. I had to throw them away.

I'm really on the fence about this location. It depends on who's there but you either get fantastic service to terrible service to no service. I made an order early morning through their app to find that the drive-thru had been blocked, making an impossible for me to actually get the food I had been charged for. The district manager has rectified this so all is well, but the fact that I even had to go through the effort is irritating. Really takes the fast out of fast food.

Why is the dining room closed? Restroom was filthy. Dining room is closed because they don't want to service walk-in customers. They use COVID19 as an excuse to be lazy and not clean up. At least the service was fast.

Sooooooooo slooooooooow. In part this is because the customers wait until they get to the front to decide what they want... Come on! The line is 10 minutes long, plenty of time to decide what you wanna shove in your mouths! But once the order is placed, the wait is a drag! I ordered two items and waited 12 minutes to receive it. I don't get it. Something must have been lost in translation. Was the burger good, sure... But given the option of waiting 12 minutes again, I would just go to In and Out next time.

They straight up have either given me the wrong thing or forgot to give me an item every time. Kinda impressive actually.

I've ordered often through Uber eats and this jack often gets my order wrong or is missing items. I've driven up 3 times to let them know my order was missing items never an apology. I would throw a free item for the inconvenience but NOPE never happens. The last time I asked they actually gave me free fries. 🙄

Worst line ever, Their drive thru has become a horrible waiting line over 20 minutes just to order. The quality of food has gone down a whole lot. I love Jack but I will no longer go to Jack just not worth my time or money. Most of the time when I order food it's not fresh, it's like they reheat the food, its disgusting..

We walked in at 10pm and the manager was mad, asking the employees "what happened to the door". She then told someone to take our order. The cashier told us "the doors was supposed to be locked, but I could take your order". The sign said dining area closes at 11pm. There was trash everywhere, no exaggeration. Napkins, used ketchup and taco sauce packets and other trash everywhere.

This place has been an institution in the same location in this city since I can remember. I ever coming here when it was just a window where you picked up your food. Now since the pandemic you never know when the lobby is going to be open and when you do the drive through you see the pork staff are so exhausted. This used to be a great gathering place for many older people in the morning would come for breakfast and coffee. And I know that sometimes when you get here in the evening the manager of the night shift is so rude that she will actually throw you out and tell you that the door should have been locked and you can't even be in there.. that happened to me and even though I argued that the posted hours said the lobby was open she still would not serve me. I even went as far as to complain to the Jack in the box customer reply line but I never got any kind of answer. That's a shame

The staff is nice but something is odd here, always something wrong with my order and the vanilla ice coffee taste bitter here. So I just go to the sylmar location on Hubbard no issues so far, iced coffee is just right there.

This particular Jack in the Box never allows you to order using the app once the evening hours approach and beyond. That's why I gave the low rating. Other than that, everything else is great.

Wow....this was disappointing to go, they had no fries, no onion rings and the wait in drive thru was15 min. To top it off my order was in correct. 😔Don't understand what the delay was. They need a new system in line to keep the flow going. Three Staff was standing around. Shaking my head😒

The lady was super rude. They were not serving shakes on New Year's night at 230am. I wanted to add two chicken sandwiches at the window, and she said "no, I make already next person order of one soda, so you come back again in the line." The curly fries were not hot as well.

The indoor dining was closed I am not sure why. The food was cold and terrible I ordered a sourdough jack burger it was supposed to be toasted bread it was not it was cold the fries were cold. The cashier did not greet did not give us straws napkins or ketchup and I am for it.

no stars for tonight! I pulled up to the drive-thru to order my food and was told they ran out of onion rings. There was no way for me to get out of line I had to wait for the cars in front of me so that I can go through. When I got to the window I have the young girl how does Jack in the Box right out of onion rings? She was very sarcastic started pointing in the direction of other Jack in the boxes at the same time she was rolling her eyes and giving me attitude. When I ask for the manager, she looked to be probably around the same age and was just a sarcastic. Everything I was saying she had something to say back to me. I told then that she said they should not be treating their customers this way and they really didn't seem to be bothered by it. I will be calling corporate office in the morning to report these two young ladies.

Do not go here. I just had to go in twice to get a bacon egg and cheese, one croissant and one discuit. First round, one with sausage and no bacon, the next with ham and sausage. I come back to the car and find out now I have two with NO bacon. So I go back in. By the way, handicapped with a cane...no one in the place at 340pm. The manager asks what's wrong, asks to just throw bacon on, I said I'm just hurting and don't want to be walking back and forth anymore and hands, throws bacon on and hands it back and tells me says thanks. Thanks for what?! You can't get a simple bacon egg and cheese right?! I would never thank you. No sorry, no nada. Thanks for nothing is more like it.

The person in the drive thru window is very rude, with no sense of wanting to work in a fast food environment. Can see her tounge pierced. I was in the drive thru 11/3 around 3:30 PM. First bad experience when it came to extra sauces she claim they were out of everything except ranch. Someone came to the window to give me my food, then asked if I needed sauces, I asked for something the first lady claimed to be out of and he gladly gave me some, when the other girl saw he was giving me bbq sauce she tried to stop him. Then worst of all when I was given my soda. There was no ice in my drink and was never told they were put of ice and was served a soda that tasted flat and warm undrinkable such a dissatisfying experience. Hope management can correct it.

I was ordering on drive thur and your worker Angelic was being rude I was telling her what I wanted to order and she kept saying what what after a few times I asked for two shakes and she said she only had one but when I was waiting she was making three shakes for the car behind me so does she just choose what customers she going sell shakes to ? the worst Jack ever. I just got turned away for the 7th time in the last year at night (different times of night) call it bad timing if you would like. I call it bad management/service. They have lost my business indefinitely, and they will loose my friends business too. I hope they just make more parking lot space here for the other businesses, by removing this waste of space.

I just came back from going through the drive-thru and let me just say I never thought asking for barbecue sauce would turn out to be this ridiculous. The lady in charge of the place at night, MARIA (claims that's her name) was very rude and disrespectful to me. I understand you don't give people a hard time because we don't know what they might be going through in their lives but damn i had my 2 kids with me. She refused to give me the barbecue sauce so I offered to pay for it. She said "no, I can't give you another one" then she closed the drive-thru window, and walk away while I tried to ask her for a reason why I couldn't get one more sauce. So I waited until she came back to the window, just so she could yell at me, telling me "leave, you're not getting another sauce" and closed the window and walked away. Again! My kids were asking me why she didn't want to give us another sauce. She kept going back and forth telling to leave in the most disrespectful way ever. Eventually, I drove to the other side of the building, to the main entrance after she got on her phone and pretended to call the cops. Pff, the cops. Ha! Lucky for me the door was unlocked. I went in there and... there's more to this story. I could be here all night writing about how this situation could have been avoided but that would take long. I just want to share this with Jack and anyone in customer service to let you know you don't treat customers with this level of disrespect. Especially over something this petty. Barbecue sauce! The sad part is I come here A LOT! I sure hope this gets the attention of the right person, to whom this is intended to, so they can do something about her. I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO DISRESPECTED IN FRONT OF MY CHILDREN BEFORE. On the bright side, I am thankful I got to show my kids how not to treat people. Thanks!

7/16/2020 @ 12:12am I just went through drive through to order some food and the lady who was taking my order was extremely rude for no reason she was huffing and puffing because I wanted to change my order. So instead of paying for bad service I’d rather drive to the Jack in the box on foothill. Very rude never going to this location again if I could give 0 stars I would.

Really rude customer service. Food temperature was awful. I ask for no salt on fries and still got them with salt tried to tell the cashier but gave me attitude and walked away and close the windows on me.

I came a few times after midnight. They put the small burger patties on the big burger buns. The food is always sloppy and looks smashed. Tacos are cold and soggy. I don't understand how the quality can be this bad and nobody does anything. Never come to this Jack late night.

Ive had my fair share of issues here in the past, but last night my food felt off and now I have food poisoning. My tacos were not good, whether old or something. My partner also got sick from the tacos. I ended up having everything come out of BOTH ends at the same time. Vomiting on the toilet with severe abdominal pain. Currently still in pain and it’s hard to move. Honestly done with this location.

The employee who took our order, Consuel, messed up almost everything. I asked for a spicy chicken sandwich without cheese and the spicy sauce, both of these requests were ignored along with the medium fries we ordered also missing. We waited at the speaker in driver thru for about 5 mins until someone asked, “what’s your order?” We then had to repeat our order about 3 times because they weren’t paying attention. We didn’t receive a receipt. The drive thru person kept us waiting for about 3 mins for our shake that we could clearly see because she was busy looking outside the front windows at nothing. Then, when she finally gave us the shake, she said there was no whipped cream and shut the window before we could even respond. Who ever is in charge, really needs to retrain their employees. I couldn’t even get a refund for the shake because I don’t have the receipt. I’m never going back to this jack in the box again.

I like Jack in the box menu, but this place, always give me the tacos very oily, cold, and they are not crunchy, this can be fixed by making food at the moment of order, no before and have it seated on the table, it seems they do that with common foods bad and very bad... COLD FOOD IS NOT GOOD.

Very disappointed , I was hungry and went for a late run . I ordered a buger and 2 tacos .I love Jack ,but last night the food was horrible . Burger was really really dry. And the tacos were cold , like if they were sitting out for like an hour. Not coming back ever.

Twice I've told myself I'm never going back. I always get served fries and onion rings that have been sitting under their hot light. I can tell if their freshly made. I always have to go back and ask them for a fresh batch. I get attitude and argument that it is freshly made. No way no more. They are a crapy eatery.

What can I say? The food quality is bad! I just went today and I bought a lettuce wrapped burger and it had some bugs in it!! Plus I asked for a plain burger and I repeated my order twice and they still gave me everything on it 😡. I called the store to let them know about the bugs and they just left me hanging in there and didn’t even bother to help me. Please make sure that what you are selling is in a good condition! This is the nearest jack in the box from my house that I visit often but will never be returning to this location ever again since their customer service is terrible, the female workers there alway have a bad rude attitude for simply having a job. Being polite to them does not inspire them to be better humans towards their customers. A half-hour ago I was hungry and chose this place to eat. I have gone there often, and I liked the way they served the curly-fries so I ordered that I also ordered pita chicken fajitas but they were cold and when we told the cashier lady named Deanna if she can exchange for fresh curly fries she looked like she wanted to help and told as to go wait in the front of the store. As we waited for the fresh curly fries a few minutes later, the worker Deanna personally came outside to deliver the fries. To my surprise they were not only the same fries but they also heated them up so hot that I could burn my mouth. Only because I asked for a fresh fries. I just went home very disappointed, and sad that I ended up throwing away the food for the fear of tainting my food. The rest of our order was cold as well. Lazy meal preparation, will not be returning.

I order jacks tacos after my son’s doctors appt! My song was craving tacos 🌮 and when I was about to pay I asked the manager since she was at the window sorry but can you add regular fries sorry about last min and she said no get back in line and order them. Past by this morning to have my breakfast but the front clerk had a horrible attitude toward to me when i asked for creams for my coffee. Lacked of what it is customer service. Maybe somebody can remain that person that customers keep the place open and she employed.

Walked in took 15 minutes to get the food. Mind you it was just 1 customer in the lobby besides us. Simple order straight forward. Not a complicated order. They kept making drive thru orders and had us wait over 15 minutes. Additionally, fries where cold, they disnt have coke in the lobby. Had to ask the cashier and we got the worst attitude. Got our order, Jr cheese burger was. Missing the cheese. Went back to advise to add the cheese. Yes, they gave me a new one. Which included cheese plus rhe worst eyes ever. I ordered two four piece mozzarella sticks and received both orders burnt with zero cheese on the inside and completely hollow. (See photo… I know it sounds ridiculous but these were really completely hollow.) Also ordered two jumbo jacks with no cheese and received these two jumbo jacks with double cheese slices. An order of large fries that were hard as rocks and stale one has brown and a Coke and vanilla shake I paid $51 for this order and My entire order was inedible I was only able to have the Coke i ordered and my children were not able to eat and only had the vanilla shake. I called the store and strangely enough the lead who answered knew exactly what I was talking about without me providing details of date or time when I ordered. So if this is their idea of a joke I’m not laughing cause you messed with a child’s food

Worst jack in the box I've ever been to. There's a worker there that I think she's the manager. Her name is Angelica, she treats the employees with such disrespect. I came to grab some breakfast and as I am waiting for my food I notice that she is telling one of the employees to do everything for her. Also, they let homeless people come in and use the fountain to wash themselves. I was completely disgusted, it's one thing to wash yourself using the bathroom sink but using the fountain where I get soda, that's nasty. The owner should see and read my review so they realize how employees are being treated here.

Visited this location on Thursday October 30, 2025.Placed a mobile order and waited. I informed the staff that I had arrived at the restaurant and told them my name. So I waited. And waited. And waited, watching them get Door Dash orders together, take new orders in person....it was not crowded. My family and I at one point were one of two tables occupied in the place. I finally got up and inquired about the status. My food had been sitting on the counter, getting cold. The cashier said oh yes that is yours but I just need to make the shakes. But she did not. She kept me waiting another minutes as she took not one but two additional orders. Not very good service or attention to me. The wait time was about 20 minutes for 4tacos and some fries?????? Very irritating and disappointing. Wish I had gone elsewhere.

The ABSOLUTE worst jack in the box I’ve ever come across!! I would give negative stars if I could. I come here about 2-3 times a week if not more because it’s one of the few places that is open late by where I live. Every time my husband and I come here, the employees are either yelling, cursing, and playing around at the drive through window or complaining about their jobs among each other while we have to sit and listen to all that. In addition, they take forever to give you your food because they are doing everything else except work on your order, only to end up messing up your order and not giving what you asked for. They also never give a receipt. If this is an independently owned location, I feel really bad for the owner and hope he/she can find better employees.

One of the workers had an attitude and wasn’t listening when I was ordering my meal. And rude with an attitude at the window. She was tall and dark hair and light skin get better customer service. Update: Today when I ordered chicken nuggets. It said on the machine but when I got my receipt and order it wasn’t on my receipt at all. When your employee magaly F claimed she got the nuggets on the order. Because of your employee magaly’s mistake we had to come back to the drive thru to order again for the chicken nuggets. This happened at 12:54Pm, what I found so gross was that I found makeup on my receipt. Magaly F had black hair in a bun and black glasses and so much make up on. I visited the Jack in the Box at 314 San Fernando Mission Blvd, San Fernando, CA and had one of the most humiliating experiences of my life. After purchasing two large burgers and spending over $25, I went to use the restroom. I was in there for no more than five minutes when someone apparently told the manager something, and she began banging on the door and demanding that I come out — even though the stall clearly showed “Occupied” and the second stall was empty and available. This behavior was completely unacceptable, unprofessional, and humiliating. The restroom lock indicator worked perfectly — there was no excuse for disturbing a paying customer in such a rude and aggressive way. This incident demonstrates a serious lack of respect for customers and a failure to provide basic privacy and dignity. The manager in question should be terminated for misconduct, and the establishment should be fined for this outrageous behavior. I am preparing to take legal action against this location for harassment and violation of my rights as a customer. Shame on this store, and shame on the management for allowing such unprofessional conduct.

One of the worst Jack in the Box i have been to in a while. Went a first time the messed my order up. Forgot to give me some items. No biggie i called the manager said she would note it down and when on next visit claim my missing food. I give this place a second chance. Idk what the order taker was foing other than taking the order but completly messed it up. When i try to claim my missing items from last time. They said there was no note that i never spoke to any manager. There service was horrible. They messed up my order 2 mofe times while i was in the window. They treated me like i was asking for free food. I was told by one employee that Eilliam was my order taker. He is unprofesional, no customer service, no attentiveness really not fit for the position. The food was cold ! The overall experience was horrible. Avoid this restaurant at all cost. Make the drive somewhere else.

I've never felt so humiliated trying to justify to the "good hearted manager" that the app charged my card, took the money from my account but they don't have my order in their system. I have screenshots of the account of the card stating jack in the box and the amount it took for the order. That my account is now less than a dollar and that was the last of my money. . He insists I call my card provider which I proceed to do just to be told the offices are closed till tomorrow at 8am. . Nope! That's not good enough. Jack in the Box stole my dinner money and there is "Nothing they can do.." my order didn't even cost $6. This is why corporations stuff their pockets and little people who don't matter, like me, get screwed over again and again. There's no fairness, there's no justice and I get to go hungry. There's no such thing as a person with a good heart anymore

Drive thu order#1248 I went thru the drive thru and unfortunately received my order incorrectly missing drink curly fries. Very sad and disappointed after working a 12 hour shift receiving a horrible order experience doesn't help receipt number 4618465233923

I went this morning and got a salad and their was barely any chicken in it. I called and the worker sydney was rude and told me there was nothing she could do about it. Definitely wont go back their again.

Yeah..... I been coming here for years and not once was I ever disappointed in my favorite food item the bacon Swiss buttery jack the sandwich had no love to it and was burger was flat and barley had any bacon and the cheese look like it was melted plastic. But aye I'll stay a loyal costumer there's always next time.
