Absolutely fab MCM inspired cool place. Great music, excellent fun vibe. Very inclusive. And last but not least, the food. Omg. The white bean dish is to die for! Everything I’ve had has been amazing and the wines offered are obviously chosen with care. My go to spot when I’m in town!
This is my favorite wine bar in SF now. Their food is fantastic. It's a decent restaurant! The quality extends to the bar food. The menu changes frequently, and all of it is seasonal. This is my fourth visit.
Ordered the beets, beans, and some wine. Everything was incredible. The food was fresh, vibrant, and full of flavor. The wine selection was great and everyone in our party was pleased with their choice. The service was wonderful - everyone was friendly and our orders came out fast. The space itself was great - they have indoor and outdoor seating. We decided to enjoy the sunny day in their covered area.
Another one of my go to places in SF. This place is a 5star all around! Rather you’re on a date or eating with a friend or family keep in mind this place is not very kid friendly… kids are welcomed but it’s just not a kid friendly environment. They spin some nice vinyl records-it can get a little Loud but in a good way! the food and service is always outstanding. Everything is made in-house with super fresh ingredients, From the bread to pasta to desserts. Wine selection is also great and the service is super awesome :) I love it I love it I love it 😍 keep it in mind that their menu is constantly changing very seasonal!! I always get a couple of apps then a delicate fish dish, salad, maybe a main dish if I’m sharing and dessert to finish dinner properly.
Super cute wine bar. I tried a natural local wine which was amazing, recommended by the waiter. We had some olives with the wine also very tasty. I’ll definitely be back for more wine and would love to try the food too. Atmosphere was very chill… great spot around the mission!
20 Spot bar delivers an impeccable blend of vintage charm and contemporary offerings. The decor is undeniably cool, effortlessly merging a nostalgic aura with very welcoming vibes, primarily showcased by an impressive array of old records lining the walls. The staff here goes above and beyond, ensuring your experience is warm and delightful. Though we didn’t partake in their culinary offerings, the food, especially the small plates, lamb dishes, and pizza, being enjoyed by fellow patrons, looked incredibly tempting and well-crafted. The crowning jewel, however, is their amazing selection of wines, offering a sophisticated palette that speaks to both novice and seasoned wine enthusiasts alike. A must-visit spot for an elegant, yet cozy, evening in San Francisco.
This is the epidamy of a corner bar with tapas, beautiful men that work there, and incredible food! I was taken by surprise by this venue when my new daughter in law made arrangements to have an after-party after their wedding service. This is in the mission, but you have to take a walk there either during the day or come at night. The food will fill your sense as your drinks fill your head. I will come here again, and again. Amazing!!
I’m not exactly a wine person (I know, that’s illegal in Northern California!) but this wine bar is a go to when I’m near the Mission. The service was great and our waiter took the time to help me select a red wine that I actually enjoyed. When I do drink wine I prefer white but I decided to step out of my comfort zone and I was not disappointed.
I will say now that I don't love wine, but my friends do so the five star rating is earned in part because of their wine selection. 20 Spot changes their menu frequently, but they always offer interesting dishes with a good mix of options for people of every dietary preference. The servers were very helpful in pairing wine with each dish and they were excellent according to the people in my group that had wine. I had the "flatbread" which was a vegetarian squash and caramelized onion flatbread style pizza. It was excellent. We ended with ricotta cheesecake with fig and it was very well balanced and delicious. The prices were pretty reasonable with the most expensive item being the $18. Although the portion sizes were a little smaller than you might expect for the price.
In the heart of the Mission district, beautiful location; the food is excellent. The oysters were so fresh, and their rectangular pizzas are delicious. For dessert, we tried the yogurt panna cotta - light yet so tasty! The ambience is perfect for a date.
Really vibe-y spot with a great selection of wine and beer. I went with a non-alcoholic spritz that was amazing! And the food looked pretty good, we just didn’t get any.

Great drinks (we tried both vermouth options on the menu u and got a natural wine bottle all at the bartender’s recommendation and she consistently steered us right; super knowledgeable) and really solid food (the kitchen really knew how to take advantage of peak tomato season). Loved the 70s vibe. It was pretty packed on Friday evening, but the staff managed to work efficiently without giving off hectic energy.
I just had a private event here for our office Christmas party. The food and drink was catered to the size of our party. The price was competitive with others in the area. My wife and I loved to come here over past few years, and it was the perfect place to have our party. Shout out to the amazing chef and their locally sourced menu. Everyone loved the food and drink selection. Thank you for an amazing night!
Great spot! Stopped here on a Saturday around dinner with a ground of 6 and we sat inside and shared a bottle of Cab Franc, a couple of pizzas and some salads and sides. Everything from the low-light vibe, to the music, to the food to the service was great. This would also make a great date spot and they've got tons of outdoor seating too. We'll be back.

Had a glass of wine. Wine was amazing and the ambience of this place is sexy. Didn’t try food. Would definitely visit again.

San Francisco has no shortage of wine bars, but 20 Spot in the Mission district manages to carve out a special niche for itself. It's a solid 4-star experience, perfect for a cozy date night. This review is mostly focused on the ambiance and the service because my friend and I already had dinner at a restaurant next door. Ambiance is King: This place nails the intimate vibe. It's housed in a former record store, and they've kept some of that charm with exposed brick and stacks of vinyl lining the walls. The lighting is warm and dim, creating a perfect atmosphere for conversation and connection. You can also snag a spot on the comfy couch in the back for some serious snuggle factor. Wine & Bites Delight: The wine list is impressive, with a strong focus on interesting finds from California, alongside some classic French and Italian options. The staff is knowledgeable and happy to recommend something based on your preferences. Our bartender was very light-hearted fella and had a great sense of humor. They also serve modern American fare food. Their menu mostly consists of snacks, cheese boards, and small plates with 1-2 mains and some desserts. We tried their house bread with pimenton oregano butter, and it was perfect for sharing. A Few Caveats: It's a popular spot with limited seating space, so be prepared for a wait, especially on the weekends. Also, the focus is definitely on wine, so the cocktail selection is a bit sparse. Overall: If you're looking for a charming and intimate spot for a date night with a focus on great wine and delicious bites, 20 Spot is a fantastic choice. Just be prepared for a wait and the slightly limited seating options. For the ambiance and overall experience, it's definitely worth a visit.
Pros: - excellent wine selection! - pleasant indoor and outdoor seating ambiance (outdoor heaters helped) - service was helpful and friendly - charcuterie plate was a lovely spread, also tried the pate which was very nice Cons: - the pizza was alright, crust was very crunchy and some of the toppings were burnt - service was unfortunately very slow. We waited over 40 minutes for our pizza Still, the pros outweigh the cons and we will keep this on our list to come back!
Good wine list, good food, great service. Cottage core vibes? Mission prices, but what do you expect.
The wine list was slightly limited, but still a cute spot to hang out.

Super cozy wine bar. The wine I selected was really good and I had a second glass - it was a Mouvedre from Spain. I didn't have any food, so I can't comment on that. The servers timed the check-ins well. One downside, it was really warm in there. To many people for such a small space maybe.

primarily go for the atmosphere but don’t expect much from the food. lively interior with moody lighting and vinyl records on display and great date spot. brussel sprouts: decent dish, didn’t hate it but didn’t love. uninspiring calamari stew: nice for a cozy night. the bread was really tasty. overall nothing spectacular
