Was Kunden über Crab Station sagen
Crab Station offers seafood like clam chowder bread bowls, Dungeness crab, and lobster rolls at Fisherman's Wharf. It's considered a good value compared to nearby restaurants, but some find the quality average and seating limited. Seagulls can be a nuisance.

It’s my 3/4 th time back….They are just the best! I just need fresh steam crab and lobster and they can do it to perfection! The owner was so nice, he even got me a free soup and shrimps. Thank you again.
This was our second place to eat while visiting San Francisco. The staff were lovely and the outdoor street dining was a lovely experience. We ordered crab roll and an order of chowder. Both were good but the crab roll was a clear winner. Ask for extra lemon!
I had the 2 Item Combo for $20. Had shrimp and Calamari. Food was served up quick and hot. Food was good and they had a small seating area.
This place feels like you’re eating local even though it’s located right in the middle of a tourist area. The prices were much cheaper than most places and the portions were a good sized. The shrimp roll was loaded with shrimp, just wish the bread wasn’t so hard to bite into and cold. I wish it was like toasted or with butter on it or something. The crab was reasonably priced and was super good!
If you are looking for value, it’s really a great place. We got two fresh large crabs, fried squid, and shrimp cocktail and juice. All for $74 + tips (versus other restaurants around $65 per crab). We assume the reason the review isn’t perfect for this restaurant is just because of the environment as it’s a bit small. Will definitely come back again!
Crab Station #2 has the best Dungeness crab. Cooked perfectly and they crack shells. We had the fastest crab for only $55.

When there is a line at a restaurant you just know they serve good food, this is my experience at the crab station. This small food establishment serve delicious clam chowder, I ordered the clam chowder on bread, I was so full that I had to wrap the bread to go. The serve other food that you also must try like the seafood cocktails and sandwiches. Will definitely look for this place again when I am in San Francisco
This is the best place to grab a clam chowder bread bowl and fried shrimp, just be careful with all the seagulls around not to drop any bread or you will get swarmed. The prices are not bad at all, two of us had a nice lunch for under 25 dollars.
Rather to please. We ordered a boatload of food. One crab, one lobster roll, 4-piece raw oysters, 6 piece fried oysters w/fries. One of the raw oysters in our ordered smelled bad, we brought it up, they seemed remorseful, apologized profusely, and insisted on 4 more raw oysters, on them. After a few minutes, we changed our mind and asked them to get them. They said, no problem. They brought out 6 fried oyster! On the house! Their seasoned curly fries are excellent. After all that food for 2 people, we swing by on the way back to our hotel, we got another order of their succulent fried oysters. They're juicy and have an effervescent quality to them. We asked for the order with out fries that normally come with them. They doubled the oysters! Love these guys! They're a humorous group!

Tried The Crab Station at Fisherman’s Wharf. The quantity was good, but the overall quality wasn’t quite as high as some of the other seafood spots nearby. The clam chowder was a bit underwhelming — not as rich or flavorful as others in the area. However, the food came out quickly and the service was efficient, which is great if you’re short on time. Overall, a decent stop for a quick seafood bite while exploring the Wharf.
Considering I’m from Maryland the food was good. Definitely needed some seasoning. The Dungeons Crab and shrimp was fresh but some seasoning needed. My wife had the Clam Chowder in Sourdough Bread Bowl. It was very good. My son had Corn Dogs and curly fries. He was content. Not enough seating. Only outdoor seating and it was 48 degrees out by the water. I wish I had gotten the Lobster Roll. Everyone was saying how good it was.
The food is delicious, seafood and chips, their main signature dish is clam chowder. Fried shrimp are my favorites, in my opinion the food is very tasty. the atmosphere is familiar and it is close to several shops and attractions
The crab station is a tourist trap but since we’re in Fisherman’s Wharf, we are going to try the seafood and this place is probably cheaper than other places here. We got the lobster roll for $32. It came with plenty of lobster, the bread was cold and a little hard to bite into. But I found myself enjoying it more and more as we ate it. In the end, I was pretty satisfied with my meal. I wish the bread was tossed in butter and toasted but this is a fast business with long lines, so I get it. There are other less expensive options like crab sandwiches which look around the same size as the lobster roll. Would come here again to try other stuff!

I just want to advise anyone that's looking for some seafood along the piers, I think you could do better. The portion size and price was more than it should be. The crab cup was 18.00 and my son ordered the lobster claws that were straight rubber. I was told it's because it was frozen and warmed up. I wish we looked at the place to the right, their prices were fair and everything is fresh. I recommend to take your time to find the right place for you!
Fried combo with shrimp and calamari was okay—crispy and fresh, but not especially memorable. At $20 before tax, the portion felt small for the price. Feels like it’s mostly geared toward tourists. Might try somewhere else next time.
If you ever go down to the Fisherman's Wharf you come across many different food stalls in front of there respective restaurants. One of these is Crab Station. The staff is nice and not too pushy like some of the other stalls next door. The price is the same across the board for all of the food stalls. The down side is no seating unless you eat in side the restaurant where you pay a premium for the same food. The food is okay, but nowhere the best for this type of food. I have been here 3 different and the experience is always the same which is a plus.
Dunno if this is the right place. Ran by Chinese and do kit really have a lot of seating places inside. Just a few bar style stools. The oysters cocktail was not bad. The place operates on principles of street food and so are the prices that are cheaper than in neighboring places with seating. The bread was standard for all these stalls outside.
I was looking forward to seeing grand tasting but was a bit disappointing. I heard the food in the piers of San Fran was to die for but.... No. I'm not really into fried seafood but this was nothing special. Tasted like any other deep fried seafood joint.
Street food station along Jefferson street. Food is average for hungry stomach. The fried oyster is fresh and crispy, pretty nice. But chowder is not as fantastic as I thought, can be better.

Beware: The good reviews are for the place next door! High price for so little lobster. I ordered the lobster roll sandwich. It came with small pieces of lobster sprinkled over large scoops of shredded crab. I ordered a lobster sandwich, not lobster topping over crab. It was fresh but with way too small bits (small pieces, like leftovers) of lobster especially for a $33 price tag. We won't be going back. Look at the picture, the white bottom is crab, which is most of the sandwich, covered with lobster on top. It's hard to tell, but it's mostly crab. Also, the roll was pre-made, handed it to me right when I ordered. It needs butter, it was very dry. They give you a sauce but it doesn't substitute for butter.
Terrible food! I order two crab cakes and two cans of soda … $35.00 for what ended up being imitation crab. It was crap! I demanded a refund. The owners were laughing during this exchange. Do not waste your time nor your money at this place.

Absolutely awful. You'd think that a seafood place where you can literally see the ocean would be fresh, but unless you want your night ruined, don't eat here. I bought a very small crab cup for $20(that was even recommended to me by one of the employees over other items). The crab was food poison. It came right back up not even 2 hours after consumption. Total waste of money, time, and my energy. I sat by the toilet the whole night. Do NOT eat here. EVER!
