Legit. So good. Chicken Pad Thai, Egg Roll, Thai Iced Tea. Add your own spice level.
Needed a quick and light lunch. I lived in Bangkok for several years and I can say the flavor here brought me back to my local small street vendors in my old second home. They are very nice and it was fun to chat in Thai for a little bit. Recommend each customer adds a Thai fried egg to their Kaprow!
I like that this places opens late. Very good service. Waitress was very helpful and informative on what to choose from the menu based on spice level, type of meat etc. Food was Delicious!! I got the drunken noodles and my partner got the chicken fried rice and egg rolls and the portions were big.
Great place ! Great food and service!!!! If you know flavor your in for a treat💯
ingredients are fresh. nice space to hang out with friends or grab a quick meal.
this place is fantastic. Haven’t had such good eats since thailand.
Amazing Thai restaurant. Great service, atmosphere and food. Will definitely come back!
The food is nice, Poppy is a really fast waiter and her service is awesome! The food is wonderful, it tastes like home!
IThai is amazing. The food taste exquisite, it’s the right amount of spice and flavor for someone like me. I am very picky and they did a great job. The thai iced tea and pad kee mao is my favorite!
Nice cozzy place with goid prices and beautifull food, the waitress was helpfull. Definetly comming back to try more things
Had a really great time here! The crispy pork belly stir fry was so flavorful! The khao soi was a bit too sweet for me but they did a great job overall!!!!!
I love this place, love the people, very authentic food. Such a great comfort lastly best spot to sing your heart out with your friends! Loveeeee
Thai food was amazing - probably one of the best we have had! Service was also amazing. We had egg rolls, chicken pad thai & tom kha soup. So warm, hot, tons of hot sauce options and menu was easy to read as well. Street parking available and super cute and cozy on the inside!
This is a 'hidden gem' Thai food option right in the heart of San Francisco. I had walked by this restaurant several times and finally decided to eat here with a friend and it did not disappoint. The restaurant does a terrific job of displaying their food on their menu so you know what your food will look like before ordering and it comes out looking just like the picture, at least our food choices did. We had the fried pork, pad Thai, and Thai fried rice. Those 3 choices were excellent, and I can't wait to go back to try other items that look tempting. We also had sake and a beer, so that drove our bill up a bit, but we made it out of there for about $50 per person with tip.
The food is delicious and served very quickly. I like their tablecloths. It’s a lively place, yet there’s still good privacy between tables. I like the vibe here.
I had the lunch special and the entree had excellent spice and great flavor. Definitely get a spring roll. And brings a friends so you can share an order without feeling guilty! I really wanted another spring roll, but knew I’d INHALE all of them on the order. The service was quick and friendly. Stop in at iTHAI and don’t forget the Thai tea!
First time to eat here since my husband recommended this place. He works in the hotel across and it did not disappoint us. The food taste good.. the restaurant is clean.. friendly service .. we already ordered more food to go for our dinner tonight
Every time I come here, the food is just right, - authentic Thai flavors with just the perfect amount of spice. It’s always so satisfying! The pink milk is also a must try, super refreshing and brings back childhood memories. This is one of my favorite Thai restaurants in San Francisco, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for delicious, comforting Thai food.
Nice restaurant with a nice, comforting, and warm atmosphere. The food was great, too.
Ordered iThai fried rice (chicken) and pad see ew and both were delicious. I would have liked a little more broccoli in the noodle dish. Glad it is open late!
Great authentic Thai food if you're looking for it esp late at night! Has the typical dishes but also the authentic street food that I crave. The Thai music playing and Thai staff made it feel like I was in an establishment in Bangkok. We ordered an assortment to share: Pad Kra Prao, Som Tum, Tom Kha and sticky rice to soak up the juices. My friends ordered Massaman Curry and Khao Ka Moo (one of my favs!) and both were delicious. We also ordered unfiltered sake (not exactly Thai but a welcome drink!) - quite the feast! The leftovers were divine! 🙏 kap koon naka
Everything I've had here has been solid. My favorite is the pumpkin curry, but I also really like the Panang Moo and Praram Neur dishes. Beef pad see ew rocks--the beef is so tender. Love the egg rolls too! Attentive service and fair portions.
Let’s Start with the ambience they were playing that It movie which was interesting because there was a lot of blood and gore but the restaurant is usually empty, I feel like I’m a lot of people take their food to go. On the service was pretty standard nothing to upper echelon nothing terrible, Our server was attentive and pretty much brought us everything we needed. Starting with the fresh rolls: Definitely true to the name very fresh Fresh and pretty standard overall I am filled with vegetables and tofu served with a chili lime vinaigrette. The cucumber salad: to me is one of the best things on the menu you definitely cannot go wrong eating this cucumber salad I’m not sure exactly what that sauce is that it comes in but that sauce is amazing so if you do come here test out the cucumber salad. Next step was that IThai fried rice and added some chicken in there which made it splendiferous, This is my go to when I come here I cannot come to iThai and not get their chicken fried rice I know this may seem basic but he got to stick to what you know I’m so I would definitely suggest grabbing some fried rice adding the chili paste for some extra flavor. Last but not least the sweet-and-sour vegetables: was amazing I swallowed it it had a lot of flavor vegetables are cooked to perfection and it wasn’t overdone. IThai is a place you go to right before you’re about to go out and have about 10 drinks because I know that’s what you San Francisco people love to do is drink so come to iThai for a little pregame the food is not that expensive and it’s usually empty if you want to just sit down and eat.
My favorite Thai restaurant in this country. I recommend their soft shell crab curry to everyone. Just wish the restaurant was closer to me (in South Bay) or at least not in the Tenderloin.
Delicious Thai food. Very authentic dishes here. The pad krapow was so good!

Great food, staff and pricing. Highly recommended!
The atmosphere is super fun and the service is great! :) Good prices for good food as well near downtown SF!
Ordered takeaway tonight and walked 15minutes back to our hotel. The food was still really hot and so delicious. Probably the best beef Massaman and green chicken curry weve ever had and weve travelled and eaten in Thailand. Shame we fly back to Australia in a couple of days as definitely would have eaten here agan. Highly recommend.
I had the pleasure of visiting this amazing Thai restaurant during my trip to San Francisco from Toronto, and I can’t recommend it enough! The food was absolutely delicious. Flavorful, fresh, and perfectly spiced. It came out quickly, which was a huge bonus after a day of exploring. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. I was with a diverse group, including people from the States and the United Kingdom, and we all couldn’t stop raving about the meal long after we finished. It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip! If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and check this place out. Highly recommend to anyone craving authentic, mouthwatering Thai food!

Different type of Thai food, but definitely very tasty!
Great kao soi with tasty pickles on the side. Cozy, neighborhood spot in lower Nob Hill. Smells great in here!

The food is nice with great ambience.
Tired of eating at other places where the ratings are high and the food is meh. I’m so glad I did tried this place which is open till late and serves authentic food. Sometimes late at night the place might seem empty but don’t be fooled as the food is so good. Its run by a thai family and sometimes you can see the girls doing homework:) The spice level can be altered to make it spicy and they do make it spicy unlike other eateries. Love their pad kee mao, pad thai, curries and everything! You can alter most dishes to make it vegetarian 🌱.

They are fine, nothing is ever bad here… but they have the same prices as the much nicer thai restaurants in the city. There is absolutely no reason to eat here when thonglor is open just a few blocks away
I ordered mango sticky rice and fried rice for me dinner. I have been here for many times but it’s my first time tried the mango sticky rice here and also the first time I ordered the mango sticky rice with no any fresh mango. It’s funny that that i ordered two of this. Look at the pictures i was surprised how tiny it was and cost 24 dollars.
Unfortunately, my experience was not good. The restaurant clearly does not have enough staff for the number of tables. They assign almost 10 tables to just one server, which is completely unrealistic. The food takes far too long to arrive, and it’s obvious the issue isn’t the staff’s effort, but rather poor management and organization. The owner should seriously consider hiring more employees because the wait time is excessive and it negatively affects the entire dining experience. I hope they improve this, because the place has potential — but as it stands now, it leaves a lot to be desired.
