nice small kinda authentic Thai restaurant, just next to Hilton SF hotel. The Green Curry is definitely amongst the best Thai curries I've ever experienced! affordable prices. unfortunately I haven't seen anything like a lunch-combo-special. The interior could be a bit more "thai-cozy", plus it was too cold. but overall it was very good and most definitely the food was supertasty!
Gorgeous facility. The duck was tender, the panang curry was creamy, spicy, and the dish was hot the entire time. I got the Thai iced coffee and it was strong and velvety. I highly recommend this restaurant. Sumit was a very attentive server and the table was cleaned constantly. My crystal water cup was never empty. Compliments to the chef and Sumit.
Fairly priced for the area. Hearty portions of fresh Thai options. You will need to ask for chili powder or chili sauce if that's your thing. Tiny space, frequently packed (a good sign of the quality). Food prep time is a bit long, but fast and easy to pay up, box up, and move along on a lunch.
We ended up here when another Thai restaurant was too busy but ended up loving it. The guay tiew lord was full of seafood and had an amazing sauce. The larb salad was delicious and had plenty of spice and mint. The fried bananas were also super tasty. The whole time we ate we talked about how we want to come here again. Server was really nice but definitely was busy with how packed it was. Anyways, can’t be beat for $20 a person sit down dinner and dessert.
Very delicious Thai food, very generous portions for a very good price. Highly recommended!
Definitely a great restaurant to get real Thai food. I had Pad see ew. They should change the name to Pad see awesome because it was awesome!!! Kind of similar to Drunken noodle. The taste was just right. I must have came during slow hours because I didn't have to wait to get a table. Reasonably priced around $17. I highly recommend this place. Will definitely come again next time I'm in San Francisco.
Small but cozy place, with outstanding service and very flavorful food. We brought one opened drink from outside and there was no issue with it. The restroom was very clean, just like the entire place. We ordered the Duck Noodle Soup and the Pad Thai with chicken. You can adjust the spice level to your taste using the chili containers they provide.
I just moved to the city, this is my first real meal here and it’s one to remember 🥰 I ordered The Pad Thai, medium spicy with extra chicken and I am very happy with the amount of food 😍 it tastes delicious and I wanted to say thank you ❤️❤️❤️✨
I was here last night with friends celebrating Mom. We were seated as soon as we entered and the place had a big group that was dining there. The lady server was the only one helping so she was too much tied up but still she was good with serving water and menu cards. They do have separate menus for alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks besides the food menu. The menu has vegetarian, meat, seafood, noodles and main entrees. We ordered Tom yom soup, pineapple fried rice, chicken noodles, salmon curry, catfish curry and side egg fried rice . Everything was good. The catfish curry looks spicy because of its color but it's not spicy. We also requested dessert fried banana with ice cream as my friend's mom likes it. The lady later brought sticky rice with mango with a candle on it. Also, with music playing happy birthday to you , that was very touching what the server lady did. Something which none of us expected. We loved that gesture and left happily. I will definitely recommend this place as it's open till midnight and the food, service and ambience is great and it's not too pricey.
I walk by this place all the time, and it's always full. So tonight I went and was not disappointed. For being in the Tenderloin, this is the best Thai I've had in a long time. Portions are really big and very reasonable priced. Just don't say you want super spicy, I like super spicy foods, but that was a little too much. Definitely recommend it to anyone who has never been there.
You MUST go to this restaurant if you are in the area! Run by a lovely lady, the food is SUPERB. There’s a joke on the wall about things being ‘Thai spicy’, but she checks to make sure you can handle spice and the food is made differently according to your spice tolerance. Delicious and very affordable. I would highly recommend 🥰 ขอบคุณมากๆนะคะ ✨
We stopped by Million Thai for lunch before a matinee show at the Curran Theater. The menu had a good and fairly standard selection of dishes. The yellow curry was DELICIOUS - a lovely depth of flavor and nicely spiced without being spicy. Their Thai Iced Tea was also delicious (and most unexpected in SF, served with a plastic straw, thankfully). The server was very friendly and personable. We'd definitely come back again for future shows at the Curran.
I love curry and the curry at million Thai tasted like the one I had in Thailand last summer. I had the Panang Curry and it was delicious. We also had fried rice and duck as well as Pad Thai. Absolutely recommendable are even the fresh spring rolls. A pleasure. And the garnishes looked amazing. Further the prices are moderate for downtown San Francisco and the portions are large. Very considerately and friendly stuff.
I loved this place! I ordered the B.B.Q. Beef Short Ribs and they came with sweet and spicy sauces, incredibly savory!! And the Thai Iced Tea was so delicious!! The whole restaurant looked very welcoming and calm but everyone was happy. Amazing experience 😋
This Thai place was the bomb! Food was very good. Just one server but he was on it. Highly recommend this place. There's 4 levels of spice I'd suggest starting with mild.
Tiny restaurant but the meals are packed full of flavour. My husband and I LOVE Thai food and always try to get it wherever we go. We can confirm that the Thai food here is reaaaalllll gooooooooooodddd!!! So delicious that we came back twice during our 1 week trip. It was also a sure fire way to get a solid serving of vegetables in which is always hard when travelling and staying in hotels. Definitely recommended.
The food are so good. I can’t explain how enjoyable I was eating them.
Nice little Thai restaurant located in union square area. Friendly owner and great thai food selection, very authentic and delicious.
The server was so kind and quick, always refilling our water glasses. Food came out quickly and looked beautiful, and even more importantly tasted great! It’s exactly what we were looking for, with reasonable prices.

Excellent food. I tried the Papaya salad and the mango dessert. It was very delicious. The service was very friendly, too. Will come again.
Probably one of the most authentic thai restaurants in the city! if you love spicy this is the place for you 🔥 service is top notch, the lady allowed me to go in before a few mins before they opened since i came a little too early the pad kee maw is very delicious and filling, it tastes more on the sweet and sour side, and perhaps a little runnier than other places ive been that are more dry noodles. oh the Angel Wings are also super worth a try! the place is amazing but its literally next to homeless population (right in front of their windows). So just be careful!
This restaurant is open till 11 PM. Service was good, fresh flowers on the table, very cozy. Food was delicious but the chief cook could have fried the onions and green beans a bit longer.
Food was good. Service wasn’t good. Only one staff and it’s hard for him to go to every table. We waited but figured that’s how we can get our food. Overall would prefer takeout.
Pretty good Thai option. Small place but with a menu with a lot of tasty sounding options. Lunch specials available, even on weekends. The pad kee mao was not too spicy but still quite good. Nice fresh green beans were used. I was not expecting the chicken to be ground (even though it is traditional) so personally I would try a different protein in this preparation if you don't want it this way. Lunch special included choice of a side - the spring rolls were fine but nothing special. Also a small salad and some fresh fruit. Even though it was a lunch special the portion was large. Presentation was nice. Decent prices for 2023 SF area. ($20 after tax)
It was our first meal in SF so we were anxious to get food! The food was tasty althought a little heavy for us. The place was quite with a nice environment, althought a lot of smell to fried food (obviously). As expected, they asked us if we have the vaccination probe to sit inside. (Oct. 2021)

Nice food, friendly staff, fast service. It’s a small place so not ideal for big groups. The pad see ew was very good. The cashew nut chicken was flavorful but over seasoned - salty. Otherwise enjoyed the meal.

I have no idea who would give this place anything more than 1 start. I ordered a combination fried rice, it was just plain white rice with almost no seasoning or vegetables. After digging deep I found 1 shrimp. I'm surprised to see the awards hanging on the wall. Complete disappointment.
I used to eat here frequently because I worked a few blocks away. I just had lunch here and noticed right away the menu had changed from the last time I ate here. I was the only customer which is highly unusual fr a Friday as this restaurant used to be busy. In hindsight this should have been my first clue. I ordered yellow curry with chicken. The plate was delivered to my table quickly and I first noticed the curry was very watery. It tasted bland and the carrots, potatoes and onions were still very raw. I asked the waiter to please have it cooked more. He brought it back from the kitchen but it was not much different. I couldn’t eat it although I paid for my meal and went to another restaurant instead. Sad that this restaurant has gone downhill. I won’t be eating at Million Thai again.
Perhaps I just ordered the wrong items. People seem to like this restaurant. I ordered seafood with asparagus. I do not think this dish worth $21. There are only 4 small-medium size shrimps and one piece of squid. Two mussels. About the cakes and fish balls.. I am not sure if I would consider these “seafood”.
