A bit of a hole in the wall, until you get in. The shopping center is very decrepit, but don't let that fool you. We went here for takeout, and got a cornucopia of Chinese food. Excellent pot stickers, among my favorites. We have Kung Pao chicken, again, it was really tasty. My wife and sister-in-law loved the Chow Mein, though I thought the noodles were a bit thick. So they gave that a five star, and I would give it about a three store. We also had sweet-and-sour Tofu, which was delicious. Well worth it, if you're in the area!
Szechuan Prawns Is it authentic no idea...but I've never had anything better in terms of Chinese food You go here for that item I hope the restaurant lasts forever cause of that item
The food is a little pricey but it's worth it it is so delicious The wonton soup is the best. And it's so much food. I will go there again..
This is our go to for all family dinners especially celebrating birthdays. It had become a family tradition for over 13 years now. The food is super fresh and not greasy, the safe is friendly and helpful. Most of all the service is fast and the food is hot and delicious!! This is a gem of the San Lorenzo area and even when I moved to Oakland I would still drive out there when I was really craving good Chinese food.
Moved into the area in 2002, and this is great, inexpensive, solidly put together food. Most of the wait staff have been there for 20+ years, and we have never had a bad meal there. Very happy with you guys!
Great place in Hayward for Chinese food !
Food it's great Service
This place is one of the East Bay's hidden gems. 10 outta 10 would recommend 👌 I always order the Wor wonton soup with my meal and it never disappoints. I also really like the variety of Duck options they have too.
This place has been serving me some of the best Chinese cuisine I’ve ever had since 2014 and had always been delicious. Their house soup with hot tea is how I start every meal and you can’t go wrong with any kind of rice I love the shrimp fried rice and salt and pepper fish with pot stickers. This family is amazing and they continue to have fast service and friendly service. Love the atmosphere and hospitality I get from them. I don’t live in the bay area anymore but when I come out this is still my favorite restaurant.
Love this place. My go to dish is BBQ Pork Chow Mein with Hong Kong style Pan Fried Noodles. I dare you to try and find a better place that serves this!! This place gets it perfect; the sauce at the bottom of the plate is just the right amount. Sometimes some places will add too much sauce and then it turns into a soup, but here its just right. I also tried the Honey Walnut Shrimp since the one at Panda Express was okay. Holy cow, this is amazing! Shrimp is delicious and the glaze they use is perfect. Havent tried anything else yet but i'll be back for more soon!
my chinese-filipino from Ilo-ilo who's grandpa spoke fluent cantonese has been going here for 20 years. :) i think that they deserve all the stars they can receive just for humoring him for that long. :)

Good Chinese food, generous portions, decent prices, great service.
First-time visit to this restaurant. A pleasant experience. Staff was friendly and attentive. Food was excellent overall. Looking forward to coming back.
good Chinese spot. they delivery and the food always hits the spot. We usually get the hot-n-sour or egg drop soup with shrimp fried rice and sweet n sour chicken.
The food is good, the service is great and they have tables big enough for the family. Thank you for a great experience.
Very good, not over salty, generous portions.

Excellent menu. Very tasty food. One of my favorites is the combination noodles with Hong Kong style noodles or known as crispy fried noodles. Also they do War Wonton soup like no other local restaurant. When you're not in the mood to cook, call and pick up War Wonton soup and take it home. Yummy!
Our family has been coming here at least since 2008, maybe even longer. This restaurant has been our go-to place because we like the food, the prices are still reasonable, and service is good. Parking is easy and there are always tables available for large groups which we are, when we do come here. There are of course a lot of good Chinese restaurants around but we continue to come here because of familiarity and we have not experienced anything negative in this place. If you have a last minute gathering or if you have a large group and need a place to eat at without a need for reservations, do check out Peking Garden.
Great egg foo young Looked so forward to it all day. Hot and sour soup was so good, had to oder a bigger size so I would have lunch for tomorrow. Service was obviously geared for to go orders and they were non stop the lobby was always full. I have to say even if there was a wait it would be worth it. One of the hardest Things to is find a really good Chinese food restaurant. Luckily I did.
The food is great! this is my go to spot in the area, however I feel their customer service could be better. They aren't as friendly, and they're kinda stingy with their sauces for take out. Giving the restaurant 4 stars for the food, I'd give them 5 if they had great customer service.
I really enjoyed my experience with this restaurant. I was a bit leery because it was not that busy at almost dinner time. I take into account that it was a Wednesday night, but they have been around for awhile. I really enjoyed the house sizzling platter and the spinning table top so our group could share dishes as they were served, sort of like a dim sum without the unexpected dishes, since we already knew what we ordered. The Cashew chicken, egg plant with pork, and the shrimp platter were very delicious. The rice was nice and sticky. The service was very pleasant and a polite experience. The only disappointment was the plum sauce on the egg fu yung was quite salty and we really could not enjoy that dish since it is one of our favorites and the only reason I did not deliver a 5 star review. I will definitely enjoy a meal here again in the future and recommend it to others. I was surprised google did not show them on the map, a bit disappointing, to be quite honest.
Food is consistently good but nothing extraordinary. Orders are taken and food brought promptly. Waitresses are friendly. CHECK YOUR BILL AS THEY'LL ADD A DOLLAR OR 2.
Enjoyed the sizzle of that black pepper beef platter, and really liked the flavor of the mu-shu filling, which tasted much like a good chow mein dish. Not quite as into the appetizer platter, as they were too greasy for my taste. But based on the rest, I'll be back!
Dropped by to dine in. Been going to this place for a while but it was only for takeout. The place has old school chinese restaurant vibes. The food is the star here. Everything tasted better right out of the kitchen. The service was okay. When we went there was plenty of parking and seats. Overall a gem in the area.
It is located in a strip mall. There are lots of free parking spaces available. Indoor seating only. Tried their Mandarin crispy duck, and it was delicious.
They have free parking located in a strip mall. I usually go to Hunan a few blocks away but they were closed. I got the sweet and sour pork lunch special for 8.95. It was hot and crispy, much better than anything from a steam tray place. I am willing to eat here again if I'm in the mood for quick chinese.

We haven't been to this restaurant in YEARS, but the food is still very good with large portions! I highly recommend the lunch specials which included hot and sour soup, 2 fried wontons, your entree with a choice of white or fried rice. Very nice variety and there's the entire menu too!! The staff is friendly and quick with service. We ended up taking 2 more lunch specials to go and the amount of food seemed even larger! Will be going back soon!

Hadn’t ordered from Pekíng Duck for almost a year. The food was good but I was disappointed because I ordered the Hong Kong style pan fried noodles combination (beef, shrimp and chicken) and literally found 1 piece of beef, two small pieces of shrimp inside the entire order. All noodles no meat?
The restaurant was clean with a nice atmosphere. The food was not the best and the service was the worst. The server was unfriendly and not very helpful and apparently added her own tip. NOT!!! The bill came and the math was incorrect. I advised the lady in the front who quickly fixed the error. I am usually a great tipper but not today! Never again!
Had a luncheon special today. $11.95 for Mongolian beef and fried rice, served with a 1/2 cup of hot/sour soup, which was warm, not hot. Food was OK, I asked for extra hot and spicy, was just hot. Fried wonton were cold/stale and the fried rice was just warm, not hot. Hot/sour sauce was way too sweet, didn't use it. They now charge $1 for hot tea. Water is free but you have to ask for it. I also waited about 20-minutes to get my main dish. Apparently, the kitchen was a bit confused over my order (1st dine in) and a take out order. I saw the "chefs" going back & forth about what was going into both dishes. Service was OK. I think Covid has really affected this business, as I was there just past 12noon and they were only 3 other tables waiting for food.
Take out in San Lorenzo on Hesperion. Food is okay but service is slow and staff seemed a bit stressed. But it was Mother's Day and the restaurant was pretty full. But great to for a meal in a nearby park
Food was absolutely delicious. But they're woman's restroom was out of commission directing customers to use the men's restroom which was abhorrent, disgusting backed up. I notified the waitress she called someone from th kitchen who went back there came and out with a went hand and went back into th kitchen GROSS. NEVER GOING BACK!!!!
We did beef in black beans sauce, mixed veggies with tofu and generals chicken. They were okay, but not really above average in our experience. Ithe generals chicken was disappointing, because it's on their list of house specials. I think I would try something different next time. On the positive side of things, the portion are decently sized.
TL;DR: Food is pretty good, service SUCKS. 15% mandatory service fee+ “open food” fee??? I dont normally write reviews but i’m calling them out on this one. The waitress we had looked like she didn’t want to be there and didn’t say anything after our greeting. She then came with the tea and didn’t place, but drop it on the table making an audible bang. I just scoffed it off as her having a bad day. Fast forward to our meal be served and we’re all spiced out needing water. We politely asked for some more and were told “okay”. We then saw her deliver drinks to at least three other tables in a span of eight minutes until I had to ask her again. At the end, we got our check and saw a mandatory 15% fee that is conveniently not written in English. On top of that they had a one dollar “open food” fee.(???) A regular tip was expected after as well. Although the food was pretty good, the service was awful. I’ll take my business elsewhere.

I am a fan of Wor Wonton Soup - but this restaurant adds only cabbage as a vegetable. I asked for them to add in a few more veggies like broccoli, carrot, snow pea, onion, zucchini … and they said they would need to add $9 onto order, for what looked like barely 1/2 cup of veggies! Outrageous. The Hunan Restaurant nearby on Hesperian is the same… they wanted to charge me $3.99 for each additional veggie added. Too bad, because I found a number of other places that add a great variety of veggies to their soup along with the meats and wontons. (Frannie’s, China Garden, and more).
Food is Really good actually. My family loves this place more than me that’s for sure. 3 star only because I’m pretty sure they charged me couple more dollars when it came to picking up than I thought the price would be in my head. Note: if preferring through the phone, ask for the price afterwards. They usually just tell you the wait time and hang up, and once you pick up THEN is when they add everything on the calculator. Caught them one time, I’d like to say it was accidental, almost charge me for a medium wonton soup when we ordered a small lol.
The food was good and would say that the portion size is also appropriate for the cost. I would recommend this place for the tasty food. But improvement is needed for the service. They need more staff for when it's busy, we felt like others came later and served and left before they serve us. We waited for quite a while to be asked our order. I had to remind the server for our hot tea. I would also recommend that they keep there men's restroom facility cleaner.

Aside from the food taking forever and the service being inadequate… my daughter and I got FOOD POISONING. They refunded my and that’s nice but watching my kid have violent food poisoning reactions was awful. It was diagnosed and confirmed by a doctor to be food poisoning. When I called and reported they said they couldn’t find any issues in the kitchen to know why of how this happened. This is alarming and why I highly recommend not going! They couldn’t find a reason and in turn, can’t change what they are doing wrong. No solution? Sorry, then no business! 🤷🏻♀️ If you go I wish you luck. The second star I gave cause they did fully refund my money with out any trouble.
The food is really good but, when you receive the bill you are charged more than what you ate. This has happened various times. Be careful when you receive your bill because they overcharge/ rob everyone from your bill and charge you unknown fees. So, before you order your food, calculate the final price of everything you are about to order including taxes so when the bill comes, you don't get robbed.
I agree the food is good, but the service isn't great. Our group split the bill, when the server came back she said my card didn't go through but couldn't explain what happened. I gave her another card and it went through. I checked my credit card and the original had gone through. After several calls, with no call back from the manager, Debbie, and being hung up on I now have to dispute the charge on one of the cards. Very bad customer service.

I’ve never written a bad review on a restaurant, but I’ve never been to a restaurant where the employee talks and raises the voice at a customer. An older lady whos english you can bearly understand spoke to me in such a rude way. I went in for a pick up. I asked for my order in which another lady proceeds to ignore me and place an order on the counter. The old lady then comes and screams at me for touching the order. AGAIN the previous lady did not say a work to me an just placed the order on the counter after I had asked for the order. The older lady proceeded to tell me “cant you hear she said not to touch it”. In which i replied that the lady hadnt told me anything but place the order infront of me and turned around thinking it was my order. The older lady proceeded to scream at me in which I just left and didnt even bother to even get the order. Its so humiliating. This restaurant has constant racism and never decided to to leave a bad review. Im always about respecting employees but this older lady made feel like complete garbage.
Served us many days old roasted duck, tried to over charged us on tea. Food quality was from poor to fair.
I just want to say that my family likes the food here like their entrees of orange chicken, fried rice, and the broccoli beef. But this time around my family had a bad experience with expired sauces (odd smell) and unfriendly tip needed to pay that was excessive charges. Upset tummy’s from all that:(
This place is close to my home so I thought I would try it, big mistake. I ordered food over the phone, it was ready in time. Went to pick up, I received my food and I asked lady for extra hot oil and she said you have enough, (there was 3 little containers with the food) I asked for 3 more, she said she was going to have to charge me, I spent about $65 & she wants me to pay extra for more sauce, she acted as if I was asking for blood. Took food home, it was OK. I will not be returning to this spot and will go to my regular spot in Hayward.
Very Disappointed; food lost flavor. They rose their prices up and they charge for the hot sauce when you take out. Plus they include their tip in the bill when ordering take- out. I guess they are trying to make up for money they didn't make during the pandemic. They lost a very unsatisfied customer of many years.
I don't know what happened to Peking garden, but the food is not the same. I thought this was the best place for Chinese food but not anymore. I ordered the combo chow mein and it was super greasy! It was not like this before. Ordered the chicken with black bean sauce abd super oily as well. Below average, won't go back!
I have gone to this restuarant over the years, and until this online order the food was decent. Don't order on line! The Sweet & Sour pork was burnt and the sauce leaked into the bag. Fried rice very bland, chow mein also a big disappointment. Sizzling Rice soup was good. Thank g-d there are many Chinese restaurants around to try.
Very Expensive , Staff is semi -rude, and for the price of a meal I would expect the food to be excellent however its below average and not great. Overall. This place is a RIP off. I ordered the beef chow funn. Might as well been called the onion chow funn. There was literally 5 pieces of meat, some noodles, the whole plate was filled with onions and other vegetable filler. Find somewhere else to go for your Chinese food desires. I know I will.
I’m just agreeing with another customer that wrote in, about checking your receipts before you pay. I looked at my bill everything was written in Chinese, so I asked the cashier to translate what each item wise.she was 17.00$ off.she had 3 items I didn’t even order.. check check check your receipt.
Let me start off by saying I never leave reviews. My family and I dined here and ordered several dishes and found the food just not good Chinese food. One of their fish dishes had about two pieces of small fish while everything else was vegetables smothered in ketchup, yuck! I brought it to their attention and the owner got upset and told us we had to pay for it regardless. She then brought over a few pieces of RAW fish and threw it on our table. We kindly told her the fish was raw, and again, she said too bad we had to eat it and refused to take it off our bill. When the bill came, they made their calculations wrong and overcharged. After arguing with them, they finally saw it was their error. Later that day we were all sick and throwing up from other plates we had. I have never encountered such rude customer service in all of my years of dining. Just not good food either. Never ever coming here again. Stay away from this place!
