This is not one of those pizza's you will see on a football commercial or one of those pizza's that looks like it was painted onto cardboard. Fresh ingredients piled high and deep. You will eat until you are stuffed and keep eating long after it has gone cold. This is REAL pizza! You can't go wrong with Pizzele di North Beach. I wish I had taken pictures but it was gone too fast.

Wonderfully perfect pizza. Was almost everything I was looking for in a New York style pizza. Nothing crazy, not trying to be too fancy or original. Was a perfectly balanced flavor all around. The crust could have used a bit more of that yeasty flavor, but it still had a good taste and was cooked perfectly, flaky outside soft and warm inside. Sauce was sweet and mild, not acidic. Cheese didn’t over power anything but wasn’t hidden either. Got it delivered and was still hot and delicious. Definitely my go to when in town from here out.

Loved this place! We needed a quick bite for my loud family and it was perfect! Ready in seconds, the person working here was SO nice. My daughter says he's nicer than anyone she knows haha. Eat here for the gracious host and the hot quick pizza!

10/10 customer experience from all staff but Martell goes above and beyond! First time here and they made pasta fresh. I will be back soon.

After first time visit I am return customer because I was impressed by the Pizza and other items on menu.

Simple local pizza and slice shop. Not fancy and not very unique, but it’s the pizza I want well executed every time.

My wife and I always stop here first when we visit SF. They have best chicken parm sandwich for a reasonable price and for bring SF you can't beat it..

Honestly, I was on my way to Hon's Wun Tun House for a delicious bowl of noodle goodness when I spotted the pizzas in the window. I looked at the guy behind the counter, poked my head in, and said, "I'll be right back." So, I got the Wun Tun noodle soup and then walked back to Pizzelle di North Beach. There, I ordered a pepperoni slice along with a Dr. Pepper. I’m still thinking about that slice days later, even while I’m in Hawai'i. Your pizza was amazing, and I can’t get it out of my head!

The toast had exactly the right texture I was looking for, and the sesame seeds on the bun added a great touch. I got a salad on the side, and Alex helped me out promptly and courteously. The portions were massive, and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. I’ll definitely be coming back. And the sauce? It was incredibly unique and delicious.

Other places are too hyped and pricey. But here the pizza tastes carefully made. The dough is “crisp” not crispy, and soft but not doughy. And the dough has a really good flavor to it I can’t explain. Most other places the grease will leave the bottom soggy but here the bottom stays crisp. A light amount of sauce and cheese and ingredients are fresh and delicious. This is not a paid advertisement. Just my go to spot for pizza perfection. Service is always great and consistent, that’s also why I keep coming back. Philly Cheesesteak: on point, packed with flavor, bread goes perfectly with the cheesesteak and good size (I ate half in the photo).

Stopped in for a NY style slice. Ate some good hot pizza and then as we were leaving they pulled a pesto cheese pizza out of the oven. We had to get a slice. IT WAS THE BEST PIZZA WE'VE EVER HAD. Pesto was the best, pizza was dripping with olive oil. We are going to make a special trip to sf next week just to buy two whole pesto pizzas.

Great slice of pizza. Pepperoni had a good slice to it, and the crust was crispy/fluffy. More like a cracker crust. Good New York style pizza.

My husband walked from the hotel to the restaurant 15 minutes each way. He ordered the Venice special. The pizza was still hot when he got here and it taste fantastic. I'm big on garlic and I was not disappointed. We're mostly vegetarian so this was perfect. Mushrooms, bell peppers, olives, tomatoes and pesto sauce. My husband told him it was for the two of us plus our 3yr old daughter and he threw in a cheese slice for her. The service was great and the pizza was just as good

I came in from Vegas for work and this was the first place I ate at, I was walking to my hostel and ran into this little place , I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it since, the pizza is so good and the slices are very reasonable for that price , I could only finish one slice, and the sanpellegrino /pom & orange was so addicting I literally walked to the market to find them, this is the only place that has them, I came back two days later and everything was still so great and the customer service was amazing ….. pepperoni slice/pesto pizza ❤️❤️

15-sept 2018 just had lunch here. This place is on the edge of Chinatown. I was looking for a quick bite on the way for a trip over to Golden Gate Park.... Though I'd give Pizzelle's a try. Glad I did. I like NY style pizza. This was close. Slightly thicker crust than a traditional NY pizza, but by no means was it "thick". Just thicker than you'd expect. I ordered a slice of cheese and a slice of Hawaiian (pineapple and ham/Canadian bacon). I actually wanted a slice of cheese and a slice with ground beef and mushrooms. They said they could only accommodate that on a custom full pie. Too bad. I requested this at another place a couple of days ago at a place on O'Farrell St up the street from the Hilton Union Station. Just for one slice. They accommodated me by taking a cheese slice and adding my requested toppings. Done. Oh well, The food was good at Pizzelle's. I took off a star for lack of flexibility and accommodation.

I ordered a 'Cheese pizza' slice when i was passing by this Place ... I was starving and needed a fast bite on the Go. The place from the outside didn't look so appealing but i decided to give it a try. Ohhhh the crunchy crust was rewarding with every bite. Cheese was perfectly melting, But the Red Sauce lacks flavors. Maybe more sauce will fix it ... I don't know but it was tasty. Will definitely give it another try when passing by this area. Not to forget About THE FRIENDLY STAFF.

I went to this restaurant today to pick up a doordash order and my friend also went. When I tried to help, the worker treated me badly because my friend's order was too large. And I couldn't help my friend, so maybe no one knows about this.
