Great sports bar/arcade at Pier 39, located by the carousel. We stopped in around lunch time during fleet week. Friendly service and a solid cheese steak. The arcade was a great distraction. At least for me, there were several new types of games. Great collection of sports memorabilia.

We decided to visit Players on Pier 39 in San Francisco for lunch and were greeted on arrival with a friendly welcome. As it was a little quiet, we were given a choice of seating options which was a nice start. Our server, Allison (name taken from the check), came over to take our drinks orders and then returned to go through our food options. She was pleasant, helpful and attentive throughout our visit which made the experience more enjoyable. For food we decided to share nachos and chicken strips, and we chose to upgrade the fries to garlic fries. After a short wait our food arrived, nicely presented and enjoyable to eat. The nachos were a good size for sharing and the garlic fries were a tasty addition. Players has plenty of TV screens around the venue which makes it a great spot for watching sports. During our visit we were able to watch Premier League football which was a highlight, although the sound was not available. The music playing in the background was actually good though, so it did not take away from the experience. Overall, it was an enjoyable visit made better by the great service from Allison and the relaxed setting.

I was at Fisherman's Wharf and wanted something simple and hearty before I left. This place hit the spot. Quick and easy. We had a Player's Burger and a Pulled Pork Sandwich both w/ Fries. The only problem we had was the constant chill from the breeze blasting through the doorway! Other than that, it was perfect! Definitely recommended if you want something simple.

Had lunch here, crab sandwich w/ garlic fries were really good. Salad had some spicy sauce that I didn't really know before ordering. The mango slices were really hard. The clam chowder was good, not the best on the Pier but good.

Really enjoyed the food and atmosphere, however their service is below average. Our waiter just didn’t have good social skills and struggled with time management when it came to taking our order and taking our payment. Expect to spend at least 90 minutes there around dinner time with a party of four. That’s just ordering one round of drinks and dinner. We ended up going somewhere else with better service for drinks afterwards.

Our server was great, especially for us having a big group. I ordered a clam chowder and the flavor wasn’t the best. It was more on the watery side and lacked flavor. Someone at my table and ordered a burger and it was very oily. I do love how there is a good amount of seating, both inside and out with outdoor heaters. I was a bit bummed that their changing table in the women’s bathroom is stuck & you aren’t able to pull down. Overall, I wouldn’t come here if you are looking for a good quality tasting meal.

Went here twice, the first time was alright but the second time was terrible. It smelled musty, order a soda and my girl ordered a drink 🍸 she took a sip and seen a dead fly in the ice 🧊 cube. Talk to the guy who was in charge he said we can get you another drink i said no thanks. Never once did he say sorry or how can we make it better. I told him we were leaving he said okay go. Do not go here !!

I’ve never felt so humiliated in my life as I did at this establishment. My sisters and I went in expecting a simple meal and some time together, but what we encountered was blatant discrimination. While other guests were served without hesitation, we were ignored. The bartender looked directly at us and continued serving every other customer around us. Minutes turned into nearly half an hour, and still nothing. We were the only ones consistently passed over, despite being respectful and patient. This wasn’t just poor service. It was targeted exclusion. It was demeaning, hurtful, and something I will never forget. No one should walk into a restaurant and feel like their presence is unwanted because of who they are. If you care about fairness, respect, and basic human decency, avoid this place. Until management acknowledges and addresses the racism in their staff, it does not deserve the business of any decent person.

Everything was disappointing. We ate because we were starving, but the pizza was dry, the BBQ ribs were overcooked and burned, and the calamari was overly greasy. We had to wait more than 15 minutes just to pay the bill. We asked for the manager and called for her multiple times, but she never came to check if everything was alright. I paid for our meal and was waiting to provide her with feedback about the terrible service, but she still didn’t show up. The server only took our order and didn’t return until my brother mentioned that we were leaving and pointed out our long wait. This used to be my favorite restaurant at Pier 39, but after tonight, it has become the worst.

They literally gave me a smashed burger! I've had a better burger at am/pm! Plain smashed with jalapeños inside. Not to mention the handful of fries on the side. Best part was their Blue moon on tap. Wouldn't recommend eating here

I just missed our original bartender by a few seconds, the new bartender tried helping us just now, I had to ask him to clean the bar, he wiped it down, left hella food on the bar still, we decided to leave. This place really doesn't get the customer service part. O-Riley, get it together bud.
