100% my go-to at SFO. I don't have it often, but the spam musubi is a perfect tasty filler before my flight. when I've taken it on longer flights, my seat mates are usually... what's that? That looks and smells so good! I recently had some luck and had the ube butter mochi and WOW! I understand why it's sold out. I'm from Hawaii, so butter mochi is a staple at gatherings. 💜 LOVE this ube version, it's a huge huge slice and can be shared by 3-4 people. It's a delicious, dense slice of butter mochi goodness. Both salmon and tuna poke salads are fresh, flavorful and nice sized portions. I always look forward to flying out of Terminal 1... it means I can get my "local" food fix and an ube butter mochi (which btw, you can freeze!) I noticed people had feedback on prices. Well, what isn't expensive these days? You're also in an airport, where rents aren't cheap. There's pizza slice for $15.00 in the terminal! Sorry, but I'll take a poke salad or spam musubi's!
This place is my new go-to for a meal before I flight at SFO. The staff was super friendly, willing to talk about the food with a smile on their face, and provided probably the best meal I’ve ever had at an airport, and for sure the best Korean Beef Short ribs I ever had. Although I genuinely question if they are tradition Korean beef ribs, as they had no bone, and seemed like a good fatty cut of beef. My food was perfectly cooked, not overly chewy, and I could still take a bit and rip half of it off my fork with my teeth. The sauce was amazing, and perfectly seasoned. I got it with the Mac Salad, and white rice. Both really good. Lastly, I did get a “Ube Butter Mochi” that was so dense I feel if I tossed it at someone I could knock them out. (Kidding, but it was REALLY dense, and REALLY good.) I ordered another Mochi to to take home with me for friends to try. Paid for the experience I had. Great food, I WILL be back again.
I took a Poke Salad, it was like $18 plus taxes. Service is fast, portion is big, everything is fresh and tasty:) I definitely stopping by next time I’m in SFO :)
I had the breakfast fried rice. The portion was huge and the food was good. I substituted the vegan sausage, it was made of black bean and I wasn't a huge fan of it, but it was decent
Poke bowl was delicious, I ordered a spicy tuna bowl. Service was great and speedy. Food really tasted fresh and high quality.
Kiosk ordering lets you fine tune the ingredients. Early brunch at 11am on a weekday. Waited less than 5 minutes. Delicious food. Large portions. Recommended!!
Solid poke bowl. Order took 5 minutes to come out. Convenient ordering system. Hope Harry Li gives these guys a second chance. No line, 7:30pm. Kitchen seemed competent.

Probably one of the more expensive options at SFO, but honestly, just the right flavors, veggies, carbs, and proteins to satisfy this exhausted traveler.
I’m very picky when it comes to fresh fish, was definitely fresh. Good protein portion. A bit Expensive but it’s poke and we’re at an airport, so not to bad

We stopped in for some Spam Musubi just before we took off for home. The staff were polite and the food was a nice change from the normal fare we would get at an airport before flying. Portion sizes are decent but the price was much higher than what I would say it was worth in retrospect. That said, the food was excellent and flavourful.
Good-sized portions of fish and rice that filled me up. Free add-ons except for select items like avocado, so you can actually add quite a lot to your bowl. The poké is really fresh-tasting. The mac salad was a little too vinegar-y for my taste. Poké comes with a side salad of greens that is meh. I wish I had gotten the taro mochi brownie!! Quick service, can order in-line or at the touch screens. Less than ten minute wait, which was pretty good. Some limited seating available.
If you’re passing through San Francisco International Airport (SFO) and need a quick but hearty meal, Sam Choy’s Poke to the Max is a decent option for island-style comfort food. I tried the Loco Moco, and while it was okay, it didn’t quite hit the mark. The beef patty was decent, but the gravy lacked depth, and the overall dish felt a bit underwhelming compared to a truly great Loco Moco. It wasn’t bad, but I’ve had better. On the other hand, the Garlic Chicken was a standout. The crispy, golden-brown pieces were coated in a flavorful garlicky glaze that was the perfect balance of sweet and savory. Paired with rice and mac salad, this dish made up for the lackluster Loco Moco and is definitely something I’d order again. For an airport meal, Sam Choy’s Poke to the Max offers solid Hawaiian flavors with quick service, making it a convenient option for a layover. Stick to the Garlic Chicken or other plate lunches for the best experience!

Food here was okay. Price is pretty high for what you are getting. I guess I was hoping for amazing food and when it was just alright I was a little disappointed. For the airport it was okay but it was pretty slow and I think I would try another place next time.
The poke bowl tasted good and the salmon was fresh but this is a bad value for $25. Don’t be tempted to add avocado for +$3 as you just get a couple slivers.

I appreciate a quick, healthy option at the airport, but as far as poke places go this is a miss. It is not the choose your own options as you go type place. I ordered the poke salad and there’s very few choices or edits that can be made. The poke is tasty, but the salad is dry and without any seasoning. It’s missing so many of the yummy textures and flavors that a poke bowl or salad would normally allow me to choose.
Overpriced food. Beef rib gave me a pretty good jaw workout trying to hack at it. But it is quite well seasoned. They'll also ask you to tip despite being counter service, so just click "Custom".
Mediocre at best and charging $3 for a small slice of avocado is robbery. I understand airport markups but at least have the decency to provide an adequate portion… Unless you’re traveling for business, I’d recommend eating somewhere else

I just got the basic poke bowl. Rice is dry as hell and tasteless. The salmon is sad. Seasoning is ok. The salad is trash. Total rip off. And then I heard the cashier berating the coworker in front of me who called up my number.
The packaging was completely inadequate. The container leaked during transport, and by the time I reached the aircraft everything had spilled. I ended up having to throw away a $40 poke bowl that was ruined, which is unacceptable. I also explicitly requested no onions. That instruction was ignored, and when I pointed it out, the staff had to redo the order. Worse, instead of discarding the contaminated food, I watched them transfer it into another bowl. That was extremely unhygienic and disturbing. Given the level of carelessness and food-handling practices I witnessed, this place should not be operating. In a high-traffic area, it’s especially problematic that customers are exposed to this kind of experience without warning.

the breakfast burrito is already $18, but you can pay another $5 more … for them to sub the meat for a HORRIBLE BLACK BEAN BURGER???!? in Hawaiian food??!? it’s not good. there’s so many superior veggie patties, doing a black bean burger is a heinous crime, tastes terrible, and feels like an unfortunate cost cutting regime upon an already overpriced burrito. pls to the love of god, could you guys do a better fake meat?
Ordered from kiosk and they forgot my order. It was not until 20 minutes I asked, and the man did not even apologize. Then there was a hair sitting on top of my poke bowl. Would not recommend if in rush or care about having hair in food.
Worst poke. Salmon looks terrible and tastes terrible. The glass in front of the poke tray is not clear glass. They are probably hiding their expiring poke. Why are they allowed in the airport. Looks like a public health hazard. Don’t eat their food, you will get food poison for sure.
