Originally tried going to another place down the street, but with a big party, we wouldn't all have fit. This place had room for our big group. I had the Korean army stew hotpot. It was pretty delicious. They had a deal for half off drinks of you dined in so that was pretty nice.
Great value - generous tasty creative! Chef is fantastic and super friendly!
Wonderful food. Made me miss japan! The staff are super friendly and helpful. My bf got ramen and loved it, I had takoyaki (octopus balls) and a beef and rice with an egg on a sizzling hot pan. We both got teas, mine was a bubble tea.
Keep in mind this place is small and shares space with a tea counter. Recommended to go on off hours for no wait, or get lucky during lunch hours. Love this little spot, food is great and cooks at your table. One of my favorite restaurants in the city!
Sizzling HK cafe style food. The black pepper beef over rice is very good. You can also order boba drinks. Service here is really friendly. I've also ordered to-go here and it's always well packed.
Very scrumptious food, chicken wings are tender, a must try
The plate that the food comes in is ripping hot so you mix all the ingredients yourself. Everything is flavorful and very filling. It's also right next to a boba shop so you can get your fix next door.
This is our favour restaurant, we always come and have dinner. I recommend the beef hot pot and the chicken ramen ,the beef is high quality than lots of restaurant. And they have tea brand own by themselves, and we live the tea too.
Delicious Asian style comfort food and good prices. Can't complain! 🥰🥰🥰 I got the cheesey omelette rice with beef and the garlic pepper sauce. Mmmmmm!
Love this place! Always love the experience of a sizzling pot dish and the young woman who usually serves on the restaurant side. She's so nice!!!
Lord have his mercy! So tasty, toasty, and safer than the bulgogi cause they put a lil paper skirt on the thick cast iron pan.. i come here for lunch , its the bees knees
My favorite restaurant in the city! It's connected to a boba shop and you can order boba with your meal. The real star of the show is the sizzling items (teppan). I almost always order the chicken cheesy omelette. You get to choose a sauce with it and after trying them all the garlic pepper tastes the best to me. You get the dish in a hot skillet that you pour the sauce into and it makes a satisfying sizzling noise. It's really worth sitting down to eat vs. take out for the dishes that come in a sizzling pan. If you have a larger party (5 and above) it's a good idea to call ahead to make sure they can accommodate you since there is limited seating for larger groups. There is a clean bathroom for customers to use.
This place has some really good food. I wanna say it's Japenese, but there seems to be a Korean spin to everything, so that's pretty good. The staff are really nice and accommodating, and the way the food is presented to you is just amazing. YOU GET TO COOK YOUR OWN FOOD. Well, not really, but just enough so that you feel like you had control over your meal, but not enough to make it a drag. Also, there is a tea shop integrated into the restaurant, which is really cool. P.S. Get the wings.
Service was super quick, then again I got here around 5:30ish, so they were still prepping for dinner guests. But honestly it's really good here. The food here is clean, decor is clean and fits well with what they're selling and serving. I got the Curry and cheese over beef I think. It's really good. They serve in a hot iron plate and it cooks while you eat. Pricing was average around the neighborhood, so don't expect anything more than like 12$. Also E-Tea is literally right next to it so you can always grab a drink after to wash down the beef and rice. Most likely I'm going to go back for lunch again.
I came from Sacramento Super Pan exclusively for the Hot Pot. I always get the veggie hot pot with the Tom Yum soup base. I frequent Michelin star restaurants in northern California and beyond and other trending restaurants. There's no hot pot as good as this one in all of California. Their other dishes are pretty good too but I seriously recommend the hot pot. While you're at it get the Taro King with almond milk or a lightly sweetened chrysanthemum tea.
What a delight! Went into this restaurant on a whim and ended up finding one of my favorite restaurants in the city. Not only did they have the sizzling plates, but they also had single serve hot pots with huge portions! The staff were so incredibly sweet and considerate. They gave us fries on the house and also a special sauce to go with the hot pot. Definitely going to come here again and try the rest of the menu!
Great for kids. Very generous with the beef steak portions !
Really loved this spot! Good food and pretty good value. Also they are super fast! If I lived nearby I’d definitely be a regular here. Only tip I’d give is that for the hot plate beef dishes, make sure you move the beef around to cook it!! Unless you like more rare meat, if you don’t move the beef around it’s not going to all cook.
Feeling like some Hot Pot for lunch? Super Pan is the place. We ordered the House Spicy, Tom Yum. and Herbal. All the soup were very tasty. Price is very reasonable. Portions were generous. Definitely coming back.
Surprised by the super tasty Ramen at just 11$. I liked the texture of the fried chicken. The light music in the background sets a peaceful vibe for you to enjoy your ramen. The adjacent milk tea boba place is also run by the same owner. If you have any space left in your stomach after the delicious ramen then don’t miss out on the boba!
Updated review: 1/28/2022: My friends and I promised to make a concerted effort to eat healthier in 2022. Today was my dairy day. I order the combo platter $16 (calamari, karaage chicken & cheese garlic fries) and omurice $14 (omelette fried rice.) The highlight of my meal was the omurice. They did a good job of using fried rice, instead of just white rice, with tiny pieces of bacon, corn and spam. Instead of the usual tomato sauce or ketchup on top, they added two cherry tomatoes cut in half on top. The omurice I usually eat in Japan is much more runnier with a demi-glace brown sauce. Super Pan's version uses a thin egg omelette without cheese or sauce. The cheese garlic fries were the fancy little frites type. It hardly had any cheese or garlic taste to it. The four pieces of calamari only contained tentacle pieces without any rings. The karaage chicken tasted bland. They should have added some basil, paprika or peppercorn. I had to ask for kewpie mayo to make this less boring. The supplied sweet and sour sauce and ketchup didn't do it for me. Regardless, this was a good meal. Original review: Indoor dining 6/9/2021. Super Pan has little personal hot pots. Who knew?! What a great idea for people dining alone that want hot pot. Usually hot pot is for two or more people. Super Pan is more known for their sizzling dishes with the paper around the iron plate to protect your clothes from the splatter. Tonight I picked hot pot #10 with the tonkatsu soup base $16 with added sausage/spam for an additional $5. The pot comes out pre-warmed with all the items in it already. The waitstaff will light the little fuel under the hot pot. Within a few minutes, the pot will start to boil. The instant noodles is served on the side. Everything tasted great with good service. I like how there are beef and fish balls at the bottom for a nice surprise. Great job everyone at Super Pan. I left full and happy.
A small restaurant that shares space with a shop that sells tea drinks. Decided to check this place out since it seemed interesting and I've never tried teppanyaki style in a fast casual setting. Came in for lunch on 1-2 pm on a weekday and there weren't too many people. Service was quick, seated quickly and was served water before I ordered. Decided on the beef peppered rice. It had pieces of corn on top of rice, surrounded by beef slices. Wait time was about 5 mins, fairly quick. The dish came out sizzling hot and crackling on a hot griddle plate, was quite a sight. Came with instructions to mix everything and pour the sauce that came with it, which was a watery mixture of garlic pepper. Everything tasted pretty good and fresh. I recommend this place if you want a meal that's quick, fresh, and wholesome.
Real authentic Japanese! I had beef brisket and dumpling Ramen. My gf had tacoyacki and a beef rice and egg skillet
The service was very good and the food was amazing. Very good ramen and meat. We love it. Thanks to the workers and chef for your niceness to our family.
Very good food and good service! If you want something different than traditional Japanese & Korean food this is the right place!

Visited that place recently. That’s my second time ordering there. I ordered online and my order didn’t went through. So don’t order from the website that will say MenuStar. It’s not working anymore. But the beautiful thing is that I’ve been taken care of. The stuff was very nice and very worried about my order didn’t work. So if you wanna order something for a pick up the best way to do that it’s over the phone or in person. And also, you will receive a little discount by doing that and supporting local business to avoid fees. The food was delicious. I ordered Pepper garlic beef with rice. It was fresh, looking good and tasty. This place deserves more recognition! Thank you!
One of our favorite places in SF! Beef pepper rice and mango sago are the go to, and I haven’t found anything that compares throughout the Bay Area. Super friendly owner as well with great service. My wife and I first ate here in 2017, and look forward to many more visits.
A cozy place we usually go to after big work outs :) Delicious meat, especially with my favorite white sauce! I also like potato croquettes, always tasty and crunchy.
Simple. Excellent. I got the thinly sliced beef ramen with the spicy miso base.
The appetizers are hands down the best part of the menu. We got the combo platter which had fried chicken, calamari and fries. I would have to say the fried chicken was my favorite. Perfectly crispy texture and robust flavor. As for the entree, I got the garlic pepper beef. The meat was incredibly fresh, tender and of high quality. Mixing it was very fun. But if I come here again I think I would like to try something different.

Excellent teppanyaki and boba tea combination in the sunset. Never had a bad plate here and I would put this as one of the top dinner/late night bites on the sunset side of the city. Appetizers are standard wings & such. I'd save the room for the entree My gotos: cheesy curry rice w/tonkotsu or cheesy omelette rice w/beef
Quick, deliscious & sizzling hot. Cook the beef to your personal preference then mix it all together for extra yummy good times. The quality to price ratio is very high. Great spot for a quick lunch. Easy going down to earth staff.
We go to lunch here all the time and get the chicken and salmon combo. I recommend dropping some rice into the pan early to make it crispy. Put in the sauce towards the end or it will splash all over you. There's also an option with a egg and everything tastes better with an egg.
This is a great little spot to stop in for Japanese comfort food. You get a ton of food for the price, and ingredients seem pretty high quality. Chashu ramen was good, definitely will go back to get the Super Pan Special.
Had the peppered beef with teriyaki sauce and an egg on top. It was delicious. Loved how you can cook your food to your liking... I think I could probably eat two or three of these pans in one sitting...
Admittedly the food doesn't LOOK that appetizing when it's served (it comes in a big iron pan with the food still semi raw), but it's actually pretty good and smells amazing. Definitely try it with the egg.
Really great spot, loved the pancake best! The meat on sticks is nice and spicy 🥵
Service is great at this place. Super fast food, well, because you cook it yourself, lol. The chicken always comes out kinda of dried mainly because they got cooked longer with the hot pan. Make sure to get the beef over the chicken or you'll be disappointed! Service is great. The waiters here are very attentive. Even when I'm muttering to my friend about wanting hot sauce, they still heard me. :)
It was pretty quiet when we went in. Service was good, they even recommended against MSG for the kids. We ordered the beef kimchi plate, the combo appetizer, and one of the ramen dishes. The taste IMO was average, and I felt the appetizers were a bit over breaded, but it was decent.
A Korean hot plate. Good food, good portions, good staff. Not a great place for vegetarians. Note that sometimes the food arrives nearly raw. You must cook it yourself on the hot plate.
Small place, fair prices for the ramen. Dumplings were a little cold in the soup.

Fast food quality Asian Fusion. It's alright. I wasn't satisfied. The hot plate serve as an interesting presentation. Might be worth a second visit to to try other dishes.
It was decently OK. Had the chashu ramen. Appreciated that you can order pearl tea drinks from E-Tea right at the table.
Presentation is pretty cool, majority of the main dishes here are served on a hot plate but the food is pretty mediocre tasting.
Tried this out on a Friday night around 7-8pm. Inside was empty so service was good. Still hard to find parking in this area at this time. I got the Korean Beef Rice in hot pan. 7/10. I ended up paying $23 with tip and only had water nothing extra. Pretty expensive and nothing really stood out. Maybe try this place for a lunch price might make it worth it but i know other places servicing the same dish with a lower price and better parking options.
Very friendly staff, we only had some snacks which was good. But the bubble tea was too sweet (asked 50% sweetness) and buba too soft.

Friendly enough staff, but this comes up in the search as a teppanyaki restaurant. It is not a teppanyaki restaurant. They have no teppanyaki tables, no teppanyaki chef, no teppanyaki anything. If you want to go to a restaurant that doesn't have teppanyaki I would suggest Luigi's Trattoria on Columbus. At least they don't pretend to have teppanyaki.
I ordered tonkatsu and rice, everything lacking of taste, tonkatsu tasted like nothing, pan was extremely hot it just make the curry dried out in seconds when i pour into, i was hoping curry could save the whole dish but it didn’t, i’m leaving very sad. definitely not coming back
