Instead of stopping by a mainstream pizza joint, Petrillo has been my new spot to satisfy the pizza cravings. I recently ordered a pizza and came to pick it up. The order was ready within 30 minutes. I went on a Friday night around 6 pm and found it hard to find parking. Be prepared to park a little further away and walk. Make sure to head into the pizza side versus the dine in restaurant. The pick up was straightforward and easy. In terms of the order, I got a personal sized pizza. I wasn’t super hungry, so I felt this was a nice portion. I decided to get a 4 topping pizza and selected Italian sausage, pineapple, black olives, and mushrooms. Overall, it was a good pizza, but I probably not get the mushroom topping again.

My favorite pizza spot in SoCal. 🍕 🍝 ♥️ I grew up eating Petrillo’s. I am 32 years old and moved away from the SGV but when I am back in town, I make sure to grab a pizza from Petrillo’s. My go-to order is a large pepperoni and sausage but when I’m feeling extravagant, I order the Petrillo’s Special. I love their pizza. Their pasta is great. The restaurant is a great place for a lowkey date. Trust me, girls love it. 😉 Quality Ingredients make great pizza! Pro tip: eat at the restaurant at least once in your life!! Overall: Delicious flavor for quite a few of their pizzas. Can't really go wrong with any style of pizza. Price is a bit high for pizza. Only complaint (this will be a personal perspective) is the bread. I am not a fan of very fluffy bread on my pizza. You get full not from the toppings and eating multiple slices but just from the bread itself. Regardless of that, as previously mentioned, the pizza is a delicious and toppings are of good quality.

Food is always good, however the server wasn't good...at all. Mature women thin dirty blonde hair and tattoos on her upper shoulder. Never brought bread to the table, never asked if we needed anything and drinks we had flag the bus boy to refill our empty drinks. It's a same some that mature, should know better, no common sense! Customer since 1978 worse service ever.

There was a very large party taking up the entire center of the restaurant. This first visit was surprisingly very good. As busy as they were, the service was good. The portions were huge. The downside was not enough sauce for the portion of fettuccine. Also, the eggplant flavor was off. The spaghetti, lasagna, soup, bread, and mozzarella sticks were very good. Will have to come back and try the pizza.

I tried Petrillos about a month ago with my boyfriend and the place doesn’t disappoint. We ordered the fried calamari and a medium Petrillo’s specialty pizza changing the salami for Canadian ham instead. Man that medium pizza was half the size of the table 😳 but it was delicious and filling. The fried calamari was also very good and tasted even better with some limon on it. The free bread appetizer was not our favorite, it wasn’t warm and it didn’t have a good taste. Finally the service was great, friendly and helpful staff.

Great local spot if you're in the SGV! Their pizza and pasta are spot on, and definitely order the Georgino sauce to dip the bread in--it's an absolute game changer.

Unclear of dine in time. I Called to see if they were open for dine in and they said yes. As we arrived I went to open front door and a woman behind the counter waved they weren’t open. Grew up going here and loved it. The service since covid has been extremely slow with no regard for their customers. After 48 minutes of waiting for just two dishes I finally got my food. If you have the time to wait then go for it, it’s great food!

When they told me the price, I thought something went wrong with the transaction in the app. But the app charge went through, and then they didn't even cancel my charge on pickup. I didn't realize they were mainly opened for takeout only for the most part. Although, you'll need to verify, as some of the other reviews says they only open on weekends. Wow the young lady with the doc marten boots, leggings, coach purse taking orders working there today 9-20-25, 2:00pm is extremely rude. Was rude when I called to put an order and she made sure she was also Rude to me when I picked up my pizza. Very unprofessional for a very delicious pizza place.

It has nothing of real Italian flavor. The pizza isn’t bad, but it tastes like Domino’s. As for the rest, they overuse lemon in the salads, and the pasta feels like the kind you buy at Walmart, just with a lot of tomato. The worst part? The chicken parmesan—by far one of the worst things I’ve eaten lately.
