Came here for my wife’s birthday dinner and it was beautiful I wish they would’ve had availability for right before sunset but was booked but that goes to show you how fast they book you here. Santos was our waiter that went above and beyond to meet all of our accommodation and the food was cooked to perfection definitely will be back and next time stay at the resort .

In A Nutshell: -Don Manuel's is located on the property of the Waldorf Astoria Pedregal in Cabo. -They only serve breakfast/lunch during COVID-19, but you should keep checking directly w/ them. -The menu's are all QR coded/downloadable to your smartphone. -I was able to enjoy breakfast everyday during my stay & it was all FREE due to my Hotels.com Gold membership. -Breakfast is phenomenal! -I tried just about all the menu items & everything was top-notch GOOD. -I enjoyed the: Huevos Rancheros, Scrambled Eggs Burrito w/ Chorizo, Chile Relleno & Cabo Benedicts (both the Smoke Marlin & the Crab Meat versions). -After ordering waters w/ fresh lemon/ & lime slices & house coffee, I always ordered the Acai & Gogi Pudding + the Tropical Fruit Plate as appetizers, both are freaking delicious. -I also suggest the "Moon Phase Juices", especially the "Waining Moon". I drank that everyday & I ordered more than one each time. -I will admit I pigged out at breakfast & also ordered sides of Chorizo & their Sausages (the sausages were so good b/c they weren't salty at all!). -The service at Don Manuel's is 5 STAR, from the hostess to the wait staff and the manager who came out to greet us, I felt like a celebrity. -All seating is outdoors & social distance away from other people. Overall, Don Manuel's is one of the best places I've ever enjoyed breakfast in the world!

We had breakfast here during our stay at the Waldorf Astoria. Our Hilton gold benefit included the continental breakfast with fruit, pastries, yogurt, and granola. Sure that doesn't sound like much but daaaang. The papaya was melt-in-mouth tender, the granola was homemade with macadamia nuts, the pastries were so light and fluffy I thought I was eating delicious air. The coffee was not to my PacNW standards, acidic and reminded me of what I had at a chicken place in Georgia and other southern US states that isn't open on Sundays. Sorry rest of the western hemisphere, but coffee is perfected by those if us in the evergreen state. No stars deducted because I'll be dreaming about those pastries and the papaya for the rest of my life. The coffee was terrible though.

Excellent service from hosted Stephanie and waiter Hernando. Way more personalized than in all inclusive hotel's restaurants. Kitchen is very good 4+. Tender, interesting, but not exceptional, thought we enjoyed our experience. Live music is great- relaxing and chill. 5+ Price is little bit high, but not only they have exquisite design and first line proximity to the Ocean and mountains(which is hard to find in Los Cabos) but also they have separate vegetarian menu.

Amazing. We’re in town for our honeymoon and I did some homework on top restaurants in Cabo so I made a rezo for us a month in advance. My wife had no idea what to expect, just that I planned a dinner for us. Pulling into the Waldorf Astoria was unreal. The giant gates, the tunnel, and the welcome staff was fantastic. Then we get shown around as we’re guided down to Don Manuel’s and just WOW. My wife was speechless and beyond excited. The whole setup and atmosphere was top notch. There was a live band playing wonderful music, hearing the waves crashing, getting to hang out around the restaurant area to get awesome pictures. Just perfect. Then on top of all that, the food AND the service were great. When my wife asked if they had rosè, a heads up that a glass was $50 would’ve been nice, but we’ll let it slide. So happy we went here, fantastic experience. Would 100% recommend.

What a lovely lunch overlooking the water! We were visiting the resort for lunch and had their tacos (i’d recommend the sea bass), along with their “B&B” cocktails, and their Tres Leches cake for dessert. All were superb, but the true Waldorf-Astoria touch was in the service from all the staff, including our experienced waiter Martin. We had impeccable service throughout, and when there was one tiny blip, the restaurant manager Andrea resolved it immediately. Would strongly recommend.

As a guest of the Waldorf Astoria I've actually had breakfast, lunch and dinner here a few times. All were equally amazing and the service was always above and beyond.

Don Manuel's offers private beach dinners for special occasions. In fact, this is where I got engaged at! We had a 6 course dinner which was all fabulous. This is what I image going to a Michelin Star restaurant is like. I couldn't believe how gorgeous this area is. The service was unbeatable too, I felt so well taken care of.

I found out this restaurant by browsing at Google Maps. I have a call and answered right way. I asked if it was allowed to non guests and the answer was Yes. They let me in to the hotel before the reservation time. All the staff is very polite and the give you a lot of attention! The restaurant is by the pool with sea views. All of restaurant staff was great. Special thanks to Régulo, Erick and Javier (manager). The menu is broad and pleases most guests. Again, thank you and I hope to stay here next time.

Where to go to experience the following: some of the best food in the world, top notch service with huge pacific waves crashing 50 yards away, soothing live music, understated elegance, Baja architecture?? All at Don Manuel's!! Is it pricey? Yes, but whatever we paid fades into insignificance compared to the overall experience! Amazing breakfast buffet, lunch and dinner options. Drinks menu is awesome too. Most days we just walked over from the resort we stayed at and one rainy day we caught a cab to the restaurant.

We came for dinner to celebrate a birthday. We had the catch of the day, the cod fish, lamb, and the ribs. All entrees were a 10/10. For added sides we had the Mac and cheese with truffle. 10/10. For appetizers we had the octopus 10/10 is was way better than expected! The apples were a great touch (if you eat it try it with red wine perfect) and we ordered a bottle is US Merlot. In total everything was $488 (4ppl). For a 5 star restaurant I would absolutely do it again, definitely worth it.

We were lucky enough to stop in on a night where our chef was a Michelin. Star award winner. It was an elegant and amazing experience. Emilio our server went above and beyond in every way. The entire staff was kind and attentive. It truly was a wonderful experience. I can’t say enough positive things and of all the restaurant reviews I’ve done I can count on one hand how many I’ve given five stars.

Place is really amazing. Cocktails were best in Cabo I had. Service was over the top outstanding and food was very good. Ambience also stellar and they had live music. Hats off to a very well run restaurant which my kids say was their favorite meal due to the waiters sense of humor and entertainment during our trip to Cabo. We had yuri at the bar and then Oscar and my boy victor as our servers. Such a great time at this spot. My kids say this strawberry dulce de leche desert was the single best thing they have ever eaten. We got a 2nd one. Mexican perfect martini was Smokey and 100% on point. I was a huge fan of the churros also.

We dined mainly at Don Manuel’s during our 4 night stay at the Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos for our two year wedding anniversary. We got the breakfast buffet from Don Manuel’s every morning and it was delightful. They had fresh fruits including papaya, kiwi and melons in addition to fresh fruit pressed juices. They also had an omelette station with a variety of toppings in addition to different Mexican dishes every morning such as shrimp, chicken and mushroom quesadillas. Coffee was excellent. We also dined at Don Manuel’s for lunch in which we ordered burger and chicken tacos which were very good. Service was impeccable and you really feel cared for. We enjoyed the food here that we passed on dining at El Farallon. The view facing the adult only pool and the Pacific Ocean was also unlike any other. We will definitely miss the morning bfast buffet here and the friendly faces. Thank you!

With Hilton Diamond Elite status, you get free continental breakfast here - coffee/tea, a pastry basket, and a choice of either oatmeal (not recommended) or granola with yogurt (recommended). Not bad for a light breakfast. Or you can pay $20 per person (with service charge and tax it will be $26.20) to upgrade to full buffet breakfast. Definitely worth it as a brunch. Service is impeccable and the view is also beautiful.

Staying at the Waldorf Astoria, this is a super convenient breakfast and dinner spot. Had the complimentary diamond breakfast here twice which I'd highly recommend and was great value, super filling, tasty delicious and good portion sizes. For dinner, it was also excellent although pricey. Ordered a few of their tacos since I wasn't super hungry and they were definitely the best tacos I had in Cabo. Ask for the house water as I think the bottled water is a waste. Breakfast also came with free fruit juice which was appreciated.

We stayed at the Waldorf for four days and had breakfast here every morning. We also tried their dinner menu one evening. The service is consistently excellent and the food is good. The cocktails lean on the sweeter side, but the live band that plays every night from 6:30 to 9:30 adds so much to the atmosphere. We really enjoyed the music. I would recommend this restaurant if you are staying at the Waldorf.

AMAZING restaurant with outstanding foods, curated to perfection, and impeccable service. During our stay there, I went for breakfast every morning. Granola was absolutely top quality with premium nuts. For lunch, my absolute favorite was seafood ceviche, it was fantastic the very best ceviche I’ve had and I couldn’t imagine it could been any better ever, I ordered that two days in a row. I also enjoyed their Mexican take on pizza. Dinner i enjoyed sea bass(it’s similar to Chilean sea bass, but heard caught locally right there) For a mild fish like that they really executed it perfectly with balanced flavors. I tasted the pork dish chef chose for my husband, it was amazing as well. On the service side, I can’t say enough how well all the servers did, in the morning they move around parasols so that sun don’t get on my face; hostess move chair for me to sit down and place napkins on my lap; at dinner our server Alex was very attentive and descriptive on dishes. This restaurant might be the best restaurant overall, yes you heard me right, I think it’s better than any Michelin star restaurants I’ve been, less pretentious, more genuine and laid back but well executed dishes, and casual but good caring service.

A wonderful restaurant in a beautiful setting, overlooking the resort's infinity pool and the Pacific ocean. A contemporary jazz band played mellow jazz in the background and it made the experience/atmosphere even more special. The service was exceptional, all staff members were super friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely professional. They were always nearby and ready to fulfill any requests (not hovering, just super attentive). One novelty was that the menu lighted up when you opened it. I have never seen this but it really came in handy dining outside under the stars. The food was amazing. Our meal started with freshly baked bread which was made with pumpkin and other spices, served with fresh butter topped with sea salt. We decided to share the watermelon goat cheese salad. The watermelon was infused with hibiscus and the goat cheese was coated in tortilla ash, giving it a slightly smokey flavor. I ordered the lobster pibil which was incredible. It was accompanied by "grandma's pasta," a delicious take on fettuccine Alfredo. My wife ordered the pork chop which was tender, juicy, and grilled with an interesting array of spices. It was served with grilled pineapple and a Gordita, which was made with a with plantain and cheese. We managed to save a little room for dessert and we ordered the Chocolate Craving, which included a chocolate and sesame cracker on top of chocolate mouse and mezcal infused ice cream. Simply to die for. We thought we were done, but as we waited for our check a staff member brought us a plate of four miniature desserts, a perfect ending to a perfect meal.

Came with a buddy here for dinner and it was overall a great experience. The views were phenomenal. The wait staff were very attentive and kind. The food was really good. We had a wonderful night celebrating our anniversary here. Carlos and his team were amazing. We informed them in advance we were celebrating and multiple staff members congratulated us upon arrival, they also made sure we had a nice table with a view. The live music was very awesome - 4 piece band playing cover music but at just the right volume and calm style to fit the atmosphere. My wife ordered the catch of the day which was a Black Sea bass and was super good. I had there “emanadas” which is their version of enchiladas and they were excellent as well. Good drinks, good bread, and the apple carmel dessert was very good as well. This hotel is incredible and highly recommend dinner at Don Manuel’s

I’d go with 4.5 stars. I liked the pink kiss. The service was absolutely amazing. But the lobster tail was a little too dry, not my favorite. One last thing to mention, the live music was fantastic!

Even if you are not staying there, it’s worth the visit to enjoy great food, views and live music. Would definitely recommend to get earlier table to enjoy ocean views and sunset. Service was impeccable, friendly and “not in your face”. The food was positively surprising and delicious. Amber service was playful and engaging with rapid switch from sweet to sour. Lamb with mole was tender and fantastic, not fan of mole but this was amazing. Catch of the day was perfectly done and fish melted in mouth. We had side of max and cheese with truffles and that ended up on a third place of Mac and cheese I ever had. To that wine selection is excellent and highly recommend trying Mexican Bordeaux One starter and entree left no room to try desserts 🥲 Now you will wonder why 3 stars? Well, for the $200 per person, expectations are high. I would expected fresh shaved truffle on Mac and cheese. Table properly cleaned up between courses.well

Los desayunos bien a secas. Parece que te están haciendo un favor al darte el plato de frutas que debe tener 20 pedazos. Los precios astronómicos para el servicio y alimentos.

Eh. Don’t bother. We went to enjoy the view, the WA experience, etc. But also Don Manuel’s is a top rated restaurant. Maybe for dinner. Breakfast was totally mailed in. No real effort. Taking advantage of guests with inertia perhaps. Coffee was lackluster. Huevos Rancheros easily the worst I’ve had, anywhere, and especially worse than at least three places we went to in Cabo, a couple were holes in the wall. The ranchero sauce was just bad. Beans were nonexistent. Service was not great. Was this bc we weren’t staying there? Who knows. But it was a waste of a breakfast we could have enjoyed elsewhere. Wish I could have my money back. 2 stars for the view and the beauty of the resort. And tunnel!

Fantastic restaurant near Cabo. Food quality is superb; service is outstanding. Not inexpensive but worth every dollar. Treat yourself and you won't be disappointed. UPDATE : I've been going to Don Manuel's twice a year since they opened and throughly enjoyed it. Tonight, took a 180 degree turn. My entree was cold and I waited forever for a replacement. I finally told them to forget it (my wife had been done with her entree for a long time) and ordered dessert. When the bill came, my waiter proudly told me they took my entree off the bill. No other accommodation, no we're sorry, no word from the manager. I'm sorry about my previous review. You most certainly can be very disappointed with this restaurant.
