I grew up in the downtown area, and for some reason, I never went to this place. I obviously missed out, but I'm glad that I tried it out, and I will definitely be back. It's definitely athentic food. The girl there didn't speak much English but she definitely did what she could do to help me. But most places don't do is give you your temples or napkins and they made sure that I had everything including any extra lemons or sauce that went with my food. I give it a 10 out of 10

I love Checos! I take my dog there often. They don't mind. They even give him goodies. The food is delicious. One of the best Mexican I have been to. They have truely HOT salsa! And try a mango margarita...bet you want a second.

This place is open and the food options are delicious! Their barbacoa is a specialty along with lots of seafood options. The lady running the front was so nice. It just feels like a wonderful neighborhood restaurant. 😊

Great food just waitress need to be more open to wait for customer to decide what to order,also need to request basic stuff like salt and chips just one small plate of chips for 7 people same for the salsa restaurant provide a mini cup of sauce.Also no parking for customers

Great little Mexican restaurant, they seem to focus on quality not exactly quantity, that's a good thing but small portion leaves you still hungry when you leave, There Shrimp was great, service was good, wish they made homemade tortillas

The food is great just a bit pricey but worth it. The only problem is when calling to place an order they don’t pick up because it rings once or twice and then you hear click. I asked them about it and I was told it’s because they didn’t hung up the phone correctly. It happens more on Saturday’s. I’m not sure if they don’t want to be bother taking orders over the phone. Also double check you get your order correctly, sometimes you get charge for it and they forget to give it to you or they forget they already charged you for it.

My 3 star review is limited to fried taco de pollo and shrimp with red sauce. I will try big Mariacos platter next time for sure. (I need more friends to go with!!)

I found 3 eyebrow in my menudo and the chef made a really bad excuse and they still charged me. After 4 years not coming here I decided to give you another chance. And what a mistake. Order a menudo again , but this time is was good.. now my complain is how long take them to give me my order . More than 30 min. It's was over 90' and the ac was off.. quick tip just to make sure you asked for the receiver and make sure the prices in each item do you order because I still believe they overcharge me $20. Never again.

Jesus! Only come here if you want to stand around and wait! Cuz they aren’t in any kind of hurry! For 2 tacos it took over 50 minutes and I’m still waiting!
