Giovanni’s Pizza

This is the best Italian food I have had in a long time we are from out of town and eat out every day and when we found this awesome place we just could not believe it. We simply love their food. Best mom and pop restaurant in San Jose the chicken fettachini is to die for and the calzone is literally a pizza folded over and cooked perfectly. We will NEVER eat any other Italian food in San Jose. 5. Stars********

Its all about the crust!! Giovanni's crust has that texture, that smell, that crunch making it one of a kind. Makes the crust from all other places taste like wet cardboard. Tangy sauce, stringy cheese, crispy pepperoni slices and my, oh my, oh my, that crust!! -- come together to result in a five star pie!! But don't stop at the pizza, this small eatery also serves up some very generous portions of lasagna, ravioli and spaghetti. You can easily feed a bunch of hungry relatives or out of town friends (who are bored to tears with fried chicken) a hearty Italian spread for well under $100.00, check them out!

Just had dinner here with my family... From the homemade pizza and saucy pasta the food was all DELICIOUS!!! Even better than The Spaghetti Factory...I loved the family atmosphere and customer service was amazing prices were fair and servings were huge ...We will definitely be back!!!!!!

Shame on me for not stopping by this gem of a small family owned business sooner. Finally had a chance to try this place and it was AMAZING! I ordered a simple cheese pizza and I wasn’t disappointed. Something special is going on in the back of the house and I can’t wait to try the rest of the menu.

This place has very delicious pizza and food I would definitely go back. The pizza was perfect the pepperoni was perfectly crunchy just the way I like it had lots of flavor and was not bland. It great experience ordering there the people working very kind and hard working welcomed me nicely. I would definitely would recommend that place it was just a overall great experience

The pizza here is pretty good. The service is always friendly. Although the place is pretty small, there is always room to sit down and eat. Delivery is free if you are in the area. Much better pizza than chain pizza, and the prices are more than reasonable. Even though I have moved out of the area for delivery, it is still one of my first choices for pizza.

Giovanni's is a family-owned restaurant. The greet the customer like like family. The price is unbelievable reasonable for for all the pasta and the pizza. It's a very small place but cozy you can bring your family children they do have takeout and that's even delicious it comes to you if you don't believe me you need to call Gianna vias Pizza it's a great place to eat I'm going to give you a five

Pizza was awesome it was hot it was on time everything was fresh the dough is good everything was legit They have their own delivery guy so if you don't have doordash or ubereats and you want to actually get a real hot pizza that hasn't been tampered with please try their Pizza it's delicious. Almost definitely be ordering back from them for sure.

I really liked the pizza. It was lighter than a lot of pizzas I've had in the Bay, particularly because it had lesser cheese than the average pizza. Taste wise it was good but not the best I've had. I would still highly recommend it and also might have it again, given how well it is priced!

First time in. A couple of nice people working in an old lil pizza shop on 13th at Heading. Not particularly dirty but not all that clean and has that old restaurant smell. Four beers on tap. Pizza is just ok. Dough is dry and lacking flavor. cheese is on the oily side. Pepperoni was ok, not crispy, mushrooms were fresh. Pizza looked better than it tasted. Over all just ok. I will probably not go back because there are other choices in the area that I like more. I was hoping fore better. Two Modelo 10oz on tap and a large pep with 1/2 mush. $26+2 for tip. If the pie was better the price would work.

I Ordered some pizzas but they made them smaller didn't even offer me a discount or an apology just redoit I didn't want to spend 20 minutes more. I am not coming back. Plus it's kinda pricey.

I ordered through the slice app, and got a message saying the calzone was done. I got there they still needed about 10 minutes I sat in the parking lot and went back. The kooks on me come in and pulled my calzone out even though it was still White. I ordered two extra size of meat sauce instead of taking my order out I ate in the restaurant and asked the chef if she was sure she gave me meat sauce. She said yes. I then asked her why there's no meat in it. She says it's pureed and you would not be able to see even any tiny specks of meat. Then I got to the end of my calzone and I had this overwhelming taste of mold in my mouth. So my cook was a liar, and might have been trying to kill me. The help she had was great and kind .
