I remember Manley's Doughnuts when Mr. Manley ran the store in Willow Glen. Back then he used to Give us kids Doughnut Holes! Before someone figured out "hey I bet we could sell these things"

Manley's has really good donuts and even a lot of breakfast options. They also have multiple locations which I didn't know until recently. I used to go to one of them frequently in the morning and they would always give me a bunch of donut holes for free. Really nice people here.

Good doughnuts (donuts). Nothing fancy, but it is worth it to come here versus other local donut shops. I wish they had fresh donuts later in the day when I'm ready for a snack, but they seem to have more traditional hours.

This places breakfast sandwiches are good and hot, but when ordering cheese other than Cheddar, make sure to repeat your cheese preference. It's not great when you get down the road to take a bite and realize... it's Cheddar instead of Swiss. Ugh! They have Doughnuts too.

Extremely Disappointing Experience & Unprofessional Staff I am incredibly disappointed with my recent experience at Manley's at Bascom, especially after being a loyal customer since my kids were little. Two weeks prior to an event, I pre-ordered 5 dozen donut holes ($17.50 value) and paid for them. When I arrived on the pick-up day with my receipt, cashier Kim told me my order wasn't there and suggested I had "probably already picked them up." Despite showing her the receipt, she dismissed my claim. She then said she would check the cameras to see if I was, in fact the one that came that day, but then claimed it was "too late" and that "no one pre-orders 2 weeks in advance." This was incredibly frustrating as I had proof of payment. When I simply asked for a refund of my $17.50 so I could get donuts elsewhere for my event, she flat-out refused. My husband and I returned the next day, receipt in hand, and were met with continued argument and refusal to acknowledge the error or issue a refund. The way Kim treated me felt like I was being accused of lying about picking up my order, which is unacceptable customer service. It's truly shocking to receive such poor service and be denied a refund for an item I paid for but never received, especially after years of patronage, and all over $17.50. This experience was incredibly disappointing. I never got a chance to talk with the owners. I told Kim and the other cashier that I would be shocked if they thought this is how you treat a loyal customer. I am hoping the owners read this and understand how disappointing this was as I used to like coming to their shop.

I ordered a surprise bag from this store on Too Good to Go. I checked the order status before I left home, and it said “pending pickup”. 30 minutes later when I arrived at the store, the order status was changed to “cancelled by store”. I told the cashier that I had to drive 30 minutes to get here for the surprise bag, and asked politely if there was any chance that she could still put together a bag for me. She just said “Sorry, we forgot to cancel it earlier!” That is unacceptable customer service. Don’t order from this store ever again.

My husband has gone here 3 times now and asked for donuts with pink icing. He knows I love pink icing on my donuts! He’s colorblind and can’t see pink so he trusts he’s getting what he asks for. The first time he received no pink donuts at all, even though they said they put them in there. Mind you, he gets 2 dozen every time and that’s a lot of money on donuts to not get what you ask for. The 2nd time he went in we got 2 pink with sprinkles and I do NOT like sprinkles. They told him there were a lot of pink ones. NOT!! Today is Mother’s Day and he decided to try again. He asked for all my favorites with the pink icing. He clarified 3 times asking to make sure there were pink ones in the box. They assured him every time there was pink donuts in the box. When he got home, we opened the box and AGAIN, there were NO donuts with pink icing. They have lost our business for good now. We’ve searched and found another place to try and that’s where we will be going. There donuts really don’t taste very good anyway. I would stay away from that business because it’s apparent they don’t care about customer satisfaction.

This donut place just got bought out. It used to be great, but the previous owner just recently sold it. It has changed very dramatically, and not for the better. The current owners just want to SCAM YOU out of your money. And they're not even friendly when doing so. I have been going there for 10 years but WILL NEVER GO BACK AGAIN! Stay away, unless you want to get scammed.
