I wish we ordered more! Stopped by for a post-climbing snack to share, it was pretty close to closing when we got there. We passed by on our way to the gym and were so excited by the smell we knew that we had to grab a bite after. We ordered one Al Pastor Mulita ($9) & one Auga Fresca (I believe it was ~$5)! They had horchata and pineapple for the self-serve drink options. We got the Pineapple, it was a bit sweet since it was close to the bottom of the pitcher, but once the ice melted down, it was perfect. Additional refills do cost extra, but totally worth it for the size of the cup they give! The mulita came out in less than 5 minutes and it was piping hot, oozing with cheese, and you get as much grilled onions and peppers as you want on the side. Also, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the tortillas are homemade. I could honestly eat the tortillas on its own! The al pastor itself was very tender & well seasoned. I really enjoyed the amount of pineapple chunks they mixed into the quesadilla! The caramelized onions on the side were sweet and still had a slight crunch to them. There are also several homemade salsa bottles on the tables. We tried two different ones, which I unfortunately can’t recall which ones, but both were refreshing & not too spicy. It was the perfect compliment for the mulita! The staff was so kind— even while they were closing up and cleaning up, they still let us use their dining area. They also gave us a free refill of aguas frescas because it was going to be tossed after they closed anyways! As I’m looking back at pictures of the mulita now, I’m still surprised by the sheer size of it! I’ll definitely be back to try some of their other items, I’m very excited to try their Sope some time.
Went here on a colleague’s recommendation. One of the better Mexican places in downtown San Jose. Their corn tortillas elevates everything. I really liked their al pastor - flavorful.
We’re from the central valley visiting for the weekend, we were staying close by so we decided to give this spot a try, it did not disappoint, we had the burritos de asada, tacos of chorizo and carnitas with homemade tortillas. My husband had to go back and get another taco. I’m picky with Mexican food, and this is a must have if you’re down town San Jose. After we took a small walk around and all all these art murals
Toñita is very well whipping up the sickest tacos in San Jose. Everything is super fresh and the business is completely family run. The corn tortillas might be the best I've had in the states. Stop by grab some tacos & a gordita, and take a pic with Toñita before she gets too famous and leaves us.
Always amazing food! Hand pressed tortillas, grilled up right after making them, tons of cilantro and great salsa choices! I come eat here everytime Im in San Jose.
This place has the most incredible quesadillas and their chili complements their food perfectly. I also had their Gordita and Torta with my family. We were curious because we’re from El Paso and I’m very picky with Mexican food. This street taco shop is the real deal. The torta was good along with their Gordita, but them quesadillas…. Them quesadillas…. Incredible.
The salmon taco was incredibly delicious — fresh, perfectly seasoned, and enhanced by a beautiful charred aroma. Lengua was very tender and I recommend it also.
Fresh cooked shrimp for the shrimp taco, Chicharon prensado taco was super good. Served up on Cooked to order homemade tortillas. Grilled Serranos, lots of salsas and an assortment of aguas frescas to put out the fire. lol. Definitely will come back.
Handmade tortillas for the tacos and mulita were great. Al pastor, asada and pollo meats were tasty with good salsa’s to add. Friendly service and covered place to sit. First time there, but won’t be our last!
No frills, just tasty food. The stars of the show here are the homemade corn tortillas for the tacos. Tacos are a little pricey compared to most taco trucks/stands, but with homemade tortillas I'm willing to pay that premium. This is a little taco cart on the street corner, so don't come here expecting ambiance or decor. It's just no-frills, good food.

Great homemade Tortillas, soft and fluffy. Carne asada and chicken were delicious. Highly recommended, worth walking the extra block.
Steak taco was amazing. Steak quesidilla was very good. High quality food and price was very fair
Definitely an underrated gem near downtown. The real star of the show are the burritos; $12 is their current price and are massive. No “super burritos” here, avocado is included in the price.
I’m never disappointed when I visit this taco truck. The homemade corn tortillas are fresh and soft, and the savory, well-seasoned meats are full of flavor. The hot sauce actually brings real heat, which is a big win for anyone who loves spicy Mexican food. The only downsides are parking, which can be a real challenge, and the fact that seating is outdoors since it’s a food truck—tough on colder days. Still, if you’re searching for authentic street tacos, taco trucks near me, or great late-night Mexican food, this spot is absolutely worth it.
I highly recommend this spot! I came here to try their tacos because I was interested in doing some catering with them and it absolutely blew me away just how good everything was. They make everything themselves including the tortillas and you can taste the love they put into their food. I loved it so much, I ordered a large delivery order from them for my wedding and it was SO YUMMY! I ordered 100 tortillas, 3 types of meat, and all of their sides. Everything that was supposed to be warm, came warm and everything that was supposed to be cold, came cold. I could not be happier! All of my guests loved the food and we had almost no leftovers because it was so good! This business is very professional, was quick to answer any questions I had, accomodated all my preferences, and was able to deliver everything I wanted at the same quality it is when you sit down. Any time I'm back in San Jose, I know where I'm going for lunch. Las Delicias, thank you so much for making our wedding so special with this amazing food for our guests.

Best tacos, and a small family run joint. Very tasty chips as well. Went for a pick up, and the wait was for about 10 minutes- not too bad. They accommodated our veggie version as well. Must go!
It’s worth coming here just to try the homemade tortillas - they really make the tacos better. Everything else was fine, nothing special. But there are good places to sit and the salsas are nice. A bit on the pricey side for a food truck taco
The handmade tortillas are the best part of this place. The meats, salsas, etc. are very average and at $4/each, it's not the best taco deal in town...but it's worth trying for the freshly made tortillas! 🌮
We were looking for the best street taco’s in San Jose and this place had 4.8/4.9 ratings so we decided to try it. We heave ordered, the Beef, Chicken, Salmon and Shrimp tacos. The beef and the chicken were dry a bit and I wouldn’t get them again, and if I come back again I will get the Salmon or the shrimp as they were richer with sauces and have more flavor.
Saw this place while walking through downtown and decided to give it a shot. Food/Taste/Flavor: 4/5 - street tacos of lengua, Al pastor, and asada. Lengua and pastor was juicy and flavorful. Asada was unfortunately dry. The sauces were AMAZING and a great compliment to the tacos. Needed better distribution and amount of onion and cilantro. Wished they provided lime instead of lemon for the tacos since lemon adds too much sweetness rather than acidity sometimes Ambience: N/A - appreciated the hand sanitizer available at the tables. They set out some tables in the parking lot next to their food truck with some simple lighting. Simple but gets the job done Service: 4/5 - maybe had a slight language issue but they were really nice. They did bring the food directly to us and some napkins to where we were sitting Value for price: 5/5 - affordable and cheap compared to some restaurants around

I suggest rethinking your plans to eat here. I ordered the Taco Estilo Tijuana specifically because it said it came with avocado. But No avocado anywhere. When I asked, the response was literally, “Oh, do you want avocado?” Yes… yes, I do. That’s why I ordered it. 🙃 They took it back, slapped some avocado purée on it. Only the remaining three-quarters of my taco got the avocado purée upgrade. Look, mistakes happen. But when the reaction makes you question whether anything you ordered is correct, that’s a whole different issue. Disappointing.

This was a late night stop as we had passed by several times and wanted to try it out. The hand made tortilla tacos are ok the carne asada can use some more flavor like alot more. I had a torta and to be honest really didn't like it. But that's not to say you won't. I see this spot as a college student quick bite type of joint. Sorry to say I won't be back.
