Kevin, the manager at Panera Bread, truly stands out for his exceptional hospitality. Every visit is made special by his warm welcome and attentive service. He consistently goes above and beyond to ensure that each customer feels valued and satisfied. Whether it's remembering your favorite order or just asking about your day, Kevin's personal touch makes dining at Panera Bread a delightful experience. His dedication to customer service not only enhances the atmosphere but also sets a high standard for the entire staff. Kevin is undoubtedly a significant reason many customers, including myself, keep coming back.
I am autistic and Panera is my go-to place for takeout and dine-in. Immediately upon walking in, they have order kiosks, so if you're like me and not great with social interaction, you can order on the kiosks instead of at the front counter. They also have headphone jacks if you need the menu narrated to you and braille on a couple as well. The atmosphere is great. They don't have loud music playing, and they don't have harsh lighting- the lights are dim and ambient, but bright enough that I can still see easily despite my vision issues. The staff are phenomenal. I'm a regular and they know me well, but even when I was just starting to go there, they were kind and patient with me and my stuttering tendencies and occasional non-verbal moments. They know I always order a large drink, so I never have to remind them to hand me a cup, they know to hand me one as soon as I walk to the counter, and they always smile and they're very gentle about it. I really, really appreciate their dedication to making customers like me more comfortable. I love their charged lemonade, because the high caffeine content helps with my chronic migraines. Also, most of their food is very consistent in texture and therefore very good for those with sensory difficulties and ARFID. I do also have a trained service dog that comes with me a lot, and the staff definitely know the ADA well, seeing as they've never challenged me about her yet don't allow untrained pets. I've never seen another dog in Panera other than a trained service dog. I really cannot say enough good things about the Almaden Panera and their amazing staff. It can be very hard navigating life independently as someone with autism and chronic health issues, but knowing that I have Panera as an option for easy dining makes everything a little easier.

Great place for soup and sandwiches. Lots of different options and combos. Prices aren't bad either. Lots of seating both outside and inside. I also really like their breakfast pastries. Their muffins are awesome. Staff is friendly and helpful. Great place for a quick bite.

This is my first Panera Bread visit in California. I was disappointed with the ambience. I remember Panera Bread always offers very good ambience, classical music. Food is good. Just I have expectation for good ambience at a Panera Bread. Also I find some trash on the floor...
The Bacon Turkey Bravo is no more!!! This "Bravo" sandwich is not even close to the BTB and the pickle kind of wrapped it in a neat bow of pain. Only 1 working kiosk to order and no person to take orders while I was there. It's a sad day today
Counter service chain restaurant serving soups & sandwiches. Parking near the restaurant is usually tricky. Service is friendly and the food is good. The tables at this location are sticky.
We visited because I had a reward visa card that was in contact with panera bread. The machine didn’t accept my card. Tried a few times, no luck! The gentleman at the cashier didn’t know about the card and the issue. I paid with another card. Later I called and spoke with “store manager” that knew nothing about the card and possible issue. She referred me to the customer support. Later I called the card services and appeared that the problem was with the machine at the store! And store manager was just holding the title and knew nothing about issues at her store. Pros: spacious and clean indoor space, ordering kiosks are very helpful when busy, easy parking, food can be customized

Sadly, I think this location is becoming diminished in its service to customers. Twice in 2 weeks a simple egg/sausage/cheese sandwich order to go was missing the sausage and when I unwrapped my order it was egg on Ciabatta, no cheese, no sausage. Not going back to this one.

Just received the grossest chicken salad sandwich I’ve ever seen in my life from this place. It wasn’t even chicken salad - it was stringy slices of chicken slightly torn up with two pieces of grape and a few slices of almond and thrown on bread. Nothing like described on the menu… just greasy, tasteless. Went in the trash. Do not recommend. Yuk.
I'm used to creamy chicken and wild rice looking creamy! As pictured with the spoon in it, but the one with the receipt is what I received. They sometimes make a mistake and give me chicken noodle and when I complained they pointed out that it is chicken and wild rice. Either they changed the recipe or don't care about quality control there. Plus for $7.79 you think it would be full, minus the bit of space to close without spilling. Everyone was nice, but I still won't be going back for awhile.

This is the smallest portion I have ever received when choosing you pick two. When I asked the employees they said it's like that because I chose the pick two. I paid $15.62 for this and clearly it's not worth it judging by the portion size. You get bigger portions at other paneras in San Jose.
I came to this establishment today around 7pm, and was rudely greeted by a sassy blonde young lady, she seemed a bit messy, disoriented, and unpleasant, she payed more attention to her phone then to the customer. I also came a few weeks and was surprised not to see her still on a chair today at the cashier. I also ordered a steak and white cheeder and received nothing but rubbish as my meal. Do not recommend Sincerely Rodny Baker
Beyond the fact they charge $7 for a small side serving of Mac n cheese and up charged me for a stale multiday old multigran roll that should have come with a kids meal to top if off I see this right before my kid takes a bit of it. I already know this place is over priced for what it is but you gotta step up the service/care/food quality if you charge this kinda money. Probably felt they could dump this off on me because it was a to go order. Feel free to make this right Panera Bread, but I'm too busy to swing back in with two kids to complain to a manager about the kitchens lack of effort and care.

The employees in the counters are not really better than the kiosk, they have no idea what ingredients you can customize for the different items. Also, Whats the point of calling it a "warm bowl" if they serve it cold?

Very poor customer service from Deisy who was at the cash register. She snapped on me when I corrected her the order she plugged in for us. Please send her to the kitchen and just wash the dishes só as she doesn’t ruin your customers experience at your location. The brocolli cheddar soup is very salty at this location. Used to be our favorite.
