Yummy, real Italian food! Cozy place with outdoor seating. Service was quick and friendly. We loved our pizza. Baked good and topping was great. We had number 8 in 16 inches and it was good for two people with extra pieces. Store was cozy and we watched the Olympics on large screen. Good experience.
Went today with the family, ordered. 16” combo with artichoke and French fries the pizza was amazing, the music was very welcoming. Service was amazing owner really takes care of his customers. Definitely recommend.
I am new in town and looked for a local non-chain pizza place to try out. I ordered the Calzone since I was pretty hungry after moving boxes all day. I haven't had a decent Calzone in a long time. Places usually get the crust wrong. Pizza Maria did it right! Perfectly evenly browned all over, no hint of sogginess when the delivery arrived. I will definitely be trying more from them
Great pizza NY style 18” pepperoni for $25 and they have a giant TV with red zone while you wait
I love having lunch or dinner at Pizza Maria. Chef's 💋 😘 kiss delicious.

I just went like 20 minutes ago and I was with my 2 other friends. I got a soda and garlic fries. Nice place reminds me of home. Good prices. Would I come here again? Yes of course! There is a karate place next to it and i hopped right over to Pizza Maria!
Small family run place. Had calzone to eat in and 4 topping personal pizza to go. Toppings were generous amounts Large screen TV in 6 table dining area.
Pizza has always been good here. It seems to be family owned and they’ve always been decent to deal with. The tiramisu is good too, maybe not the best I’ve had but still hits the spot (and they use coffee instead of amaretto, which is good for people with nut allergies). “Atmosphere” is kind of an odd category here. The place is small, clean, with a handful of tables and chairs. It seems well taken care of, but isn’t really fancy or pretty. There’s a huge TV, which in general I’m not a fan of, but they keep the volume low when it’s on, so that’s not a big issue. There are a couple of old pinball/arcade games in the back that seem hard to get to, but I’ve seen the lights on so they might be working. Honestly, it’s basically what I hope for from a nice, family-owned pizzeria. Never had a bad experience or a bad pizza with them.
Good cheeseburger which has lettuce, tomato and pickle. Great French fries. Previously, I tried their spaghetti which is a good portion and includes bread and salad.
I never ever like anyone's spaghetti but mine 🍝 The spaghetti here is excellent and better than Spaghetti Factory. I was actually surprised that I enjoyed it because I am extremely hard to please with spaghetti in restaurants. My sister and nephew and my dad love this place. Now me and my husband love it too. And just a side note: They are cat lovers and feed and care for the few stray cats that come around their business. You can catch a glimpse of a cat or two outside the window on the patio where they have picnic tables and umbrellas 🐈💜
Absolutely love this pizza. It's the way pizza was meant to taste. Priced to taste. Fresh and ripe ingredients are used and traditional oven baking method insures you a delicious dining experience. I know I sound like a advertising company but I am not, I just really love this pizza place.
This is amazing pizza.. best pizza in the area, love the sandwiches and pasta! . Fresh and tasty at an excellent price. This place is a small little gen so support your local business as there are so few left and tell them they are appreciated! I’m so glad that I no longer have to eat chain store pizza.
A great neighborhood pizza restaurant that we have visited many times over the years. The pizza is always fresh and delicious, and we have never had any issues. Their crust has a great texture, and the toppings are not too salty. They have a wide range of options for pizzas and toppings.
The "slices" are thick-crusted squares and individually made to order. Definitely worth the 7min wait. The toppings are very generous and the thick crust holds up well with all the moisture. I definitely recommend this local east-side spot (it is on our weekly rotation).
Outstanding Pizza & Italian Food in San Jose – A Hidden Gem If you’re looking for the best pizza and Italian food in San Jose, look no further. This place is an absolute treasure! What sets it apart is the commitment to quality: everything is made with 100% organic ingredients, a rarity in today’s dining scene. The pizzas are perfection—thin, crispy crusts with just the right amount of chew, topped with the freshest, most flavorful toppings. You can truly taste the difference in every bite. Their handmade pasta is another highlight, with rich, authentic sauces that transport you straight to Italy. From the fresh salad to the cheese cake, every dish is crafted with care and attention to detail. The ambiance is cozy yet vibrant, and the service is always friendly and attentive. If you’re a foodie who appreciates fresh, organic ingredients and bold, authentic flavors, this spot is a must-visit. I can confidently say it’s the best Italian dining experience in the area!

Local mainstay for pizza. Their deep dish crust is so delicious - try the deep dish Toni's special, it's our favorite!

The Sicilian pizza’s crust lacks crispness, is very bread-like and dry, and a challenge to swallow. The sauce is tasty and the volume of cheese and toppings is adequate. This pizza would be a good choice for parties given its filling nature, but certainly not for someone seeking a savory juicy pizza experience. Tip: this pizza tastes better re-heated the next day than fresh out of the oven.
Tried their Sicilian slice. Very interesting location but very underrated. It was decent 7.8 Pizza. That's the review.

3 stars for the Italian sandwich - although a very tasty sandwich, cheese/ham/pepperoni we're good, a filling average 6" sub, & great texture as I devoured it; BUT was also quite salty (I think it was the sausage) and the bun was 'so so' IMO. Perhaps a soda or beer to offset my palette would resolve this, but it was straight up eatn' 😁👍 - I'll be back nonetheless to try another menu item & appreciate the ' family owned ' vibe ... give em a try 👍

6.7/10 Honestly, the pizza is oily, lacks flavor, and is too expensive for what it is. The toppings fall off of the pizza and don't stick, surely any pizza joint knows how to avoid. This time I got the deep dish was ok but, also oily and lacked flavor and had the same problem of toppings falling off. Tomato sauce is decent but kinda it. One of my worst pizza scores It's ok if you want something quick, but if you're looking for solid pizza to impress your guests, you're better off buying a frozen pizza from Luckys across the street Don't let the pictures fool you, the pizza isn't that great

They seem to be running an illegal gaming party, Friday 07/12/25 9:30 pm. Turning away regular costumers.. Very shameful. But, illegal money is also green to gready people. Im Very disappointed.
