Delicious food .... price was great value. . The chicken kabob was very juicy & tender Must try !
This restaurant one of the best restaurant I have ever seen in my life. The owner is very nice and food quality is very good .
Authentic Persian dishes and a warm hospitable host such as Ms Azita have made our dining experience a success.
After 2 years living in san fransico finally we found the best persian food in Reyhan restaurant. fantastically delicious!!!!
persian food at this place - great. i think i might become a regular. it has a great atmosphere.
Nothing but positive things to say about this place. Customer service is always on point and very helpful when it comes to choosing what you want. My family and i have tried different restaurants and Nothing compares to Reyhan the quality of how the food is prepared and cooked is 100% well done.
great spot if your eyes are open wide new to the area getting some tires saw the store front persian food right here are you kidding me had to try very good food we enjoyed sitting outside Azita the owner is wonderful we will return for sure
Outstanding chicken skewers and rice dish in an industrial part of old San Jose. Although they are busy filling orders, you can get in and out fairly quickly. Staff aren't so much friendly as they are efficient.
My first time eating at the restaurant and i enjoyed their food so very much. Service was great, the owner served us too and she's soo nice. I will definitely go back.
Very quaint family restaurant serving authentic Persian food. Small, but very inviting. Great food and the owner is fantastic! Makes everyone feel at home.
I hadn't been there for ba couple of years! I decided to get multiple meals to have different tastes! So delicious and great as left overs!
The kobedeh is Better than most Persian restaurants.... The only thing is the ambiance and area... So if you can get over that... I think you will enjoy the food....
Excellent kabob! The mast moosir was to die for! Can't wait to try their stews next time. Owner was super sweet and helpful.
Great food! I will definitely be coming back! 😊
Exceptionally delicious Persian food. No, exceptionally delicious food. Very cozy place. I got excellent service every time even though I was alone.
This is literally the best Persian food in the South Bay. I got takeout here and loved it. The chicken was perfectly done.
We love this place. The food is always wonderful and authentic. Whenever we have family in town, we take them here for some authentic Iranian food.
Love this place. It’s small but if you like Persian food. This is your go to place. My favorite is the chicken kabob with zeresh pollo😋
Perfect kebabs, great meat quality, reasonable prices. It's a small place in not crowded area but delicious food in a homely atmosphere.
Any time I met with my brother LSI Construction founder , our best place to get one of the best Iranian home made food,I love this place, very sweet and friendly owner and her employees, great food.
This restaurant has the best persian cousin in the Bay Area.
Fantastic job, really delicious juicy koobideh kabob, I ordered a sample of Ghormeh sabzi looks great taste amazing, friendly atmosphere like I ate my lunch by my family I enjoyed my lunch thank you all.
The best Persian food in town. The portion is large and the price is reasonable. I love the taste ofc.
Excellent food. Loved the Fesenjan both veg and chicken are great Hole in the wall place.
We drive all the way from Pacific Grove to San Jose just to taste the food at Reyhan restaurant. I have tried every Persian restaurant in the Bay area and none of them come even close to what Reyhan has to offer. The food is just the best my wife and I have ever had. The quality is superb, the service is wonderful and the prices are amazingly low. I highly recommend Reyhan to anyone who wants to have a mouth watering Persian dish.
We were at. Rayhan restaurant two weeks ago, the owner and manager Ms. Azita was extremely gracias and generous, she provided the most delicious and freshest kebabs, and some complementary Tah Dig. It was Friday after noon around 1:00 pm, we ordered Koobideh and Joojeh kabob, we totally enjoyed the food and the service, the prices were reasonable and we ordered also Ghormeh Sabzi to go. She follows all professional protocols of the restaurant industry and it was a joyous experience, we are going there again this Friday needless to say that we live about one hour drive from where she is located at. I highly recommend Ryhan to all persian food lovers for delicious food and memorable experience.
Amazing food! Ordered the filet mignon. Large portion. I was absolutely stuffed. The spicy raw white onion was a nice touch. The baklava desert was delicious, too. It wasnt like the usual layered, buttered-up sheets baklava we get at Costco.
The food is great and just perfect. Rey Jan is jewel in the rough. The owner is super and a people person. She always adds her special touch which makes the experience one to remember. Thank you.
There are lots of ways to rate this category of restaurant especially in San Jose! Being from the Middle East you tend to gravitate towards kebabs no matter where you are. Luckily in San Jose, we have a few famous kebab places that are significantly better than others. I put Reyhan Restaurant at the top of all of them. At one point Negeen Restaurant was top choice and Chelokababi in Sunnyvale could not be beat. But these days, I'm putting my money on Reyhan. A hole in the wall that you miss if you drive more than 30 miles an hour, this quaint restaurant is affordably priced and is consistently good in any of their foods. Other restaurants we use baking soda to fluff up their kebabs nothing like that here! Pure meat done right and affordably priced. In fact I want to say it's even cheaper for you to get your kebabs here then to buy them yourself and make them home. But don't focus on the kids I was only you'll miss out on all the stews and specialties on Saturdays and Sunday mornings, kaleh pacheh! Go ahead give it a try!! You'll be back for more...
The best Persian food in the South Bay, bar none. The koobideh kabobs are to die for. Don’t miss out on a menu item that’s listed as salad: the Persian feta cheese and herbs. DO NOT use the online order option listed on Google. That company is not associated with Reyhan and does not pay them for online orders. Just call the restaurant to order.
If you're looking for finger licking authentic, delicious, fresh and amazing Persian food: there you found it! Any Persian food aficionado that disagrees with my previous statement, private message me only if you're 23andme result beats 96.7% Persian. Generations upon generations of them crazy delicious dishes, that's how we do this.
This is the best Persian food in Silicon Valley. Tucked in a tiny oasis, the people here really care about others. On a street filled with auto body places and other light industrial businesses, they've taken the time to create green space with a bird bath. Inside the people here care about what they're doing. They greet you warmly, take care of you, and above all, feed you well. We got the rack of lamb, chicken kabob, a salad, and a dip. It's not cheap, but you absolutely get what you pay for. Absolutely delicious!
My husband and I have eaten here almost 20 years combined and the food is always outstanding. The owner and her staff are so friendly and welcoming. The food has been consistently delicious and well cooked, every single time. This place is a true hidden gem in San Jose.
Superb Iranian food. You are hearing it from someone who has lived in Iran and has had the real ethnic food. One of the best in the valley. Needless to say, representation of the food is superb also. You will not be disappointed. I’m going back to them.
Best kabobs hands down! Always fresh, so juicy and full of flavor! We love to dine in and it's also our go to for all our catering needs!
The best kabob koobideh that I've had in the Bay Area. Thank you for being generous with the basil, too. Top tip: if you order a lot of meat, ask them to put some bread underneath your kabobs to soak up all the delicious kabob juices and you'll be in for a real treat!
The best koobedeh in the bay area, I kid you not. I have been a regular since 2010
Reyhan restaurant is the best Persian Food in the South Bay, perhaps the greater Bay Area! Azita and her team have very high standards and their kebab and lamb shank do not disappoint! They are our go to for catering all Persian parties! Well done as always Azita! Thank you for making my birthday delicious!!!!!!
I had the most delightful experience at Reyhan Restaurant! The service was impeccable, with attentive staff who made sure we felt right at home. The food was a true culinary masterpiece, bursting with flavors and authenticity. The ambiance transported me to Iran with its warm and inviting decor. A must-visit for anyone craving an unforgettable dining experience.
Reyhan is a unique little hole in the wall. I love Persian food -- they have the best yogurt sauces I have ever had. The chicken kabobs are juicy and delicious. The staff is attentive and friendly.
The best quality Kabob in a cozy restaurant. I have tried almost every single Persian food place in the bay area and this one is the best of the bests. the owner works there and keeps the hospitality and quality of service high. There is nothing bad about this place. NOTE: IF you are a big party, remember they have limited space. take out is a better option for large parties.
I am not a picky person about service, when you go to a restaurant you will concentrate on food, right? I can live with a so-so service, if you don't mind. Having said that this place is in the middle of nowhere when I was driving around with my foodie daughter and we decided to go for a taste of Persian. It turned out that we made a right decision, We were served with a plate of lavash bread and onion, mint and other nuts, almost like a platter for starter, it is a nice touch. The koobideh plates we ordered were delicious, very tender and tasty, some other places we ate before, the meats were too dry or have no taste at all. The rice was also very nice... Thanks, we will be back again soon... And, yes, the lady owner was a bit of a quiet person and has an air of important, but then again, I don't care, all I am concentrating is the food.
We tried Koobided, Tahdig with Gheime and Ghorme, and they were delicious. This was the best Persian food I had in the bay area, and I've been to numerous places. The Reyhoon also seemed to be grown by their own and smelled/tasted great.
The BEST place in all of San Jose. Ordered Chicken Kabob plate and Beef koobideh, everything was juicy, flavorful and had plenty for left overs too. Even the chai and dates for dessert was delicious!!! Azita was super sweet, had us laughing the entire time and made sure we were taken care of. 100/100!!!!
delicious food ; and great customer service 10/10
Great food. Restaurant was spotless, and staff were warm and attentive without being intrusive. Delightful lunch. We'll be back!
I can imagine this is how persian mom cooked meals would be. I feel the love eating my food and I came out of this place stuffed. Lady who runs it is lovely- chat her up 😉 …oh, and she closes at 8pm! Respect this woman’s hard work and time- come earlier for dinner.
Every-time I order here. I always leave full and happy. The food here is so delicious . I ordered a beef wrap and managed to only finish half of the wrap. Great portion size! I highly recommend coming here. It’s a cute restaurant and the owner Noel was very welcoming and always checked up on me.
Nestled in the heart of the city, Reyhan Restaurant offers a delightful escape into Persian cuisine, where every dish tells a story of tradition and flavor. During my recent visit, I had the pleasure of indulging in their renowned Soltani and Jengeh Kabob, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of extraordinary. The Soltani Kabob, a combination of juicy koobideh and tender barg, is a true testament to the mastery of Persian grilling techniques. Each bite was a harmonious blend of succulent meat and aromatic spices, leaving my taste buds dancing with delight. The koobideh, with its perfect balance of herbs and seasoning, melted in my mouth, while the barg, cooked to perfection, boasted a smoky richness that was simply divine. As for the Jengeh Kabob, it was a revelation in itself. The tender chunks of marinated lamb were grilled to perfection, resulting in a dish that was both tender and flavorful. The subtle hints of saffron and garlic elevated the taste to new heights, making it a true culinary masterpiece. What truly sets Reyhan Restaurant apart is not just the exceptional quality of their food, but also the warm and inviting atmosphere they provide. From the moment you step through the door, you are greeted with genuine hospitality, making you feel like a cherished guest in someone's home. In conclusion, Reyhan Restaurant is a must-visit for anyone seeking an authentic Persian dining experience. Whether you're craving the classic flavors of Soltani Kabob or eager to explore the depths of Jengeh Kabob, this culinary gem will not disappoint. Prepare to embark on a journey of taste and tradition that will leave you longing for more.
Easily the best place for fesenjoon! It’s quite flavorful and the chicken is so tender. Wow. I got it with tahdig which is crispy rice wafers. So so good! Appreciated the extras like mint onion and pita. Great value and very high quality! Totally recommend.
I don’t live in the bay but every time I’m there I stop by. I was there on Saturday and as usual wasn’t disappointed. Great atmosphere delicious food and friendliest owner.
This place is a GEM I tell ya! My fiance found this small restaurant. At first I thought it wouldn't be so great but I was fooled and I'm glad I was! The shocker was the raw onion...I was like EW! (I instantly thought of Shrek who compared himself to an onion...don't ask why)...but the raw onion compliments the meat and rice so smoothly that you actually enjoy eating raw onion, it's sweet, crunchy and juicy. (I know what you're thinking BUT give it a chance!) I've ordered the lamb plate and the koobideh (beef). Both meats are juicy, plump and full of flavor! Try their yogurt sauce, it's to die for! 🤤 ..man...I want some now 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Literally the best Persian restaurant in Bay Area. This place offers the best Kabab ever! Friendly atmosphere. Great food. Reasonable price. What else can you ask for?

Great food. Restaurant was spotless, and staff were warm and attentive without being intrusive. Delightful lunch. We'll be back!
Chicken kabobs, salad, pita bread and yogurt were all super fresh and quite tasty. We happened to spot this place during a Google maps detour, and decided for a quick take out. Chicken kabob especially was so fresh. Quantity was also pretty good.
We got their chicken kebab with rice and tomato skewer which was very delicious!! We had it with sumac, basil and obviously raw onion. The owner is super nice, welcoming and kind. Highly recommend reyhan to everyone! 👌🏼👌🏼
I’ve ordered from Reyhan Restaurant multiple times, and it has never disappointed me. The service is always friendly and efficient. Although the restaurant isn’t fancy and is located in an industrial area, the food is absolutely delicious — definitely worth the visit or perfect for takeout!
Reyhan is one of our go to take out restaurants. The food is always delicious, and we’ve consistently had a great experience with the staff. Everyone, including the owner, is super nice and accommodating. You can truly tell they care for their customers. Definitely recommend!
Yum. So freaking delicious. The ground chicken and beef skewers are perfectly juicy, the basil and grilled Tomatos are like childhood. Service was welcoming and kind, the seating and restaurant is somewhere I’d want to invite people who are new to San Jose and surprise them with this delicious restaurant nestled in industrial San Jose. Def coming back.

Great food at small family resturant. All of my group enjoyed their food. I will go back again.
Delicious Persian food. Great portions. I had take out and the rice and chicken was delicious.
I tried their beef koubideh kabab first time, it looks good but little overdone.
If I wanna talk about only food it would definitely worth 5 stars. But the way that the lady who was the owner -I guess- acted, was very insulting and impolite. We did not felt welcome at all. The place was not clean enough either. It was dusty and sloppy. But the food and the prices are covering up for the negative issues. So go for it make your order TO GO!
Go for the excellent beef koobideh and also get chicken Kabob to complement your koobideh ... All foods comes with fresh basil, onion and lavash bread. If you don't like their location or small casual place it is definitely worth it to place an order to go and make the trip to pick it up ... Highly recommended as the best Persian food in Bay area ...
happened across Rehan by chance. It's in an unusual spot in the midst of a bunch of industrial and secondary car repair shops. having tried many of the Persian restaurants in San Jose, we decided to try it for lunch! Service was very fast and friendly. Prices were a little bit more expensive for the area that it is located. My meal was the Barg Kabob and my lunch companion had Koobideh and chicken. While I enjoyed my meal, the Koobideh was OK, but did not compare to Stone Stew's. Tomato was good as was the rice. Generous portions with plenty to take home. The restaurant was clean and could seat about 20 with two outside tables.
Reyhan is a small mom & pop restaurant with about seating for roughly 20 people and parking for less than 10 vehicles. I’ve come here about 5 times in total through the years. The food at this place is fresh and very tasty, but the pricing in the Bay Area has really affected the way this place is pricing their menu. After tax, the salmon kabob which was probably the cheapest meal item came out to $29 and change. Other items showed on the menu for $30 & $38. It had been a while since I’ve visited, but this may have just been my last. 🥲
The food is good. Tasty, even though this last time the beef kobab was a little rare. The prices are very high especially for small appetizers. The service is so so lady at the front not very welcoming. But other wise the food is good. They could use a saucier dip.
Small place good for chicken, beef and fish kabob entrees. Not a place for people looking for veggie options.
Very pleasant first Persian experience. The chicken, beef and sausage skewers were juicy and delicious. Enjoyed the bread, basil, onion complimentary starter plate.

Their food was for the most part good, but I got an appetizer (Tahdig or Crispy Rice) which was all burnt.
Small quaint spot nestled in the middle of an industrial park. Kabob was juicy and the service is hella relaxed. Not a bad spot when you’re in the area and want a quick lunch. Only had the kubideh and it was decent.
Pretty clean for what it is. It looks very old though. There are only 6 tables. This is a pretty casual place to go. The reason I came here was because I was heading to the airport and wanted some Persian food, and this was the closest. The location just sucks, though the food quality is pretty good. If you're looking for a quick place to eat Persian food, this is a good place to keep in mind.
Consistency in the quality and flavor of the food has gone down a bit in the past year. The last couple of times I've been hete I was quite disappointed. It seems that now that the owner, now that she is giving more control of daily operations to the manager, with him the quality has gone down somewhat. When she (the owner) is there, it's much better. This use to be one of THE BEST places to get consistently delicious Persian food. Hopefully the quality doesn't continue to diminish. We'd love to keep this as our go to place as were have for many years.
Once you are over the fact that the location is in the middle of a few junk yards, the food is very good, inside the ambiance is nice, service can be improved.

⭐ 3/5 – Decent Food, Best for Takeout, Small Space Reyhan serves decent Persian food, but it’s nothing exceptional. It’s a small space, and it seems like most customers opt for takeout rather than dining in. The location is a bit unusual, and while the food is fine, it doesn’t quite stand out among Persian restaurants. 🍽️ The Food: 3/5 The flavors are solid but not amazing. It’s decent for a quick meal, but if you’re used to great Persian food, it might not impress you. 🛎️ The Service: 3/5 Quick and efficient, but nothing beyond the basics. 🏡 The Atmosphere: 2/5 The small space and takeout-heavy setup make it feel less like a restaurant and more like a grab-and-go spot. 💰 The Verdict: Okay for a Quick Meal, But Nothing Special ✅ Food is decent if you’re nearby ✅ Quick service, good for takeout ❌ Small, not ideal for dining in ❌ Nothing particularly memorable Would I come back? Maybe for takeout, but wouldn’t go out of my way.

Koobideh kabob (ground beef) was half burnt outside half raw inside!!! Looks like they just wanted to cook it in very short time!!!
Honestly one of the worst restaurants I’ve been. As soon as I got there she rushed out and asked me what can I get you as I was standing in a disrespectful tone of voice. When I wanted to ask which table can I use. She said “You can’t here, also I’m busy, it’s either you buy to go or I’m not serving you.” Then I decided to buy a sandwich to go, and she offered two free drinks, but she charged me for it later on. The sandwich had literally big pieces of tomatoes and weired leafs plus big chicken pieces too. Never hated a sandwich until I bought it from here. I’m not saying don’t but from there, but if it’s your first time trying Persian food, just make sure you’re familiar with it, if not 100% you’ll throw it just the same way I did.
Unusual place and scary . I ordered beef and chicken kabobs: beef kabob is ok, chicken is plain- Service- poor and unwelcoming. Will never return here again.
Food is bland and lacks flavor. If you used to a lot of seasoning and flavor in your food dont eat here. No issue with staff; outside of whomever made the food lol
A hole in the wall kind of place. It could be much better than it is. The food is just ok. The spices were not much. The portion of the salmon was not much. The costumer service is no good. This lady have a bad attitude with us as a costumer. The prices are no good/dead flowers at the table/not really organized/clean. I asked to have half rice/half salad with my food instead of just rice. The price was already high. She wanted to charge me more for that. In other Persian restaurants they always agree to bring half of each(salad/rice). Also, they have a variety of herbs, cheese, nuts that come before the meal with a warm bread, but not at this restaurant! Very disappointed with Reyhan Restaurant!
I have been here twice. The atmosphere and service are unfortunately undesirable. They have some good dishes. Overall, considering the price, it is not worth the risk. I am not going to return for a third time unless major changes are made. The owner/server is not friendly and makes you uncomfortable and unwelcome as if she is bothered that we came to eat and are paying her!

The quality of the food was not that great. It was old and the service was Not comfortable. I was approached 3 × three different people not understanding that I have service animal even though I've shown my service card for my animal. The owner still said that I probably bought that online, which was very rude. Telling someone that has disabilities. I take medication three times a day.And it must be on time. That's what the animal is there for you don't have to be handicapped to own service animal.. Oh, well, I learned my lesson. If you want quality, food and fast, go to real kabab, which is down the street. I spent $30 just for food. Did not get satisfied at all

Was good at one time .this time took order to go was over cooked like beef jurk sorry I have to say that .I don't care how much I have to pay but give me my money worth.
The owner is very rude and impolite, if you want to pay money but rescive a bad service, this is the restaurant you should go. I have should read other review who all mentioned the owner Nadia staff are nasty.
Not very good food. Last time I was there, the food quality was so bad. Also, the old woman who is the owner of the restaurant, has so bad attitude toward Persian people. Somehow it seems that she has mental issue I think.
Disgusting food even not cooked. Super rude the owner. After I got my food to home I realized the chicken barbecue wasn't cooked well and then she said put in microwave for 5 minutes. Dont waste your money here!
I’d give it 0 stars if I could. They didn’t even seat us. It was just the two of us but all we were told is that they were too busy to even accommodate us. “Sorry” was what the owner said and turned us away.
Very bad experience, food quality is normal, the staff are terrible. The owner or manager is a nasty old woman. She does not know how to deal with customers. Never try again!
Koobide was undercooked, no taste, and swimming in liquid/grease. Totally gross. This was the second time I ordered over the last 3-4 years, same problem both times.
The owner is really rude. Zero respect for customers. The worst place ever thanks to the owner.
We ordered Koobideh and chicken kabok. After the first bite of the chicken kabob I stopped eating it. The taste was too bad. I wonder how somebody can make chicken taste this bad. Sorry for being frank, but the chef should learn how to cook some of the dishes. The koobideh was edible even though did not taste good and smelled a bit. Finally, they charged us for everything even though we did not eat the chicken kabob after the first bite. Also, the place was very cold with bunch of noisy guys and gals. This would not bother me that much if the food was good.
Very expensive and most of the food they give you is bulked up with mostly rice and bread. Very few vegetables too. It just doesn't feel like a complete meal with any amount of work put into it. You're probably better off going to some other Mediterranean place for the same fare for better value, and meal completeness.
We used to like this restaurant and their koobideh kabobs a lot. Today we went for dine in and guess what!! We found a hair in the bread basket... when I took it to the waiter he pretended that he couldn't see it.. nice try!! He finally saw the hair and said he will bring some new ones. He DID NOT APOLOGIZE!! then he served the food and there was a tiny curly blavk hair in the rice... I called the waiter and this time not only he didnt apologize but he didnt even seem to be surprised!! So that covers the service and the clranliness. As for the quality of food, IT HAS DROPPED! I have no idea why koobideh should be spicy? When has anyone eaten a hot and chilli koobideh??? I gave 1 star only because there is no way to give 0 star rating. We will never go back to Reyhan ever again. We paid over $61 for 2 koobideh and a skewer of chicken and a mast o moosir none of us ate the whole plate. Reyhan used to be good but please make sure you read all reviews before you go to this place.
Terrible food. Nasty smell. Not fresh at all. Don’t recommend! Owner was very understanding and apologized for the inconvenience. Never going back. 😑
I had a very disappointing experience. The hospitality was poor, and the staff were impolite and unprofessional. The service was slow and unorganized, and the hygiene standards were unacceptable—there was nowhere even to wash hands. Overall, I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Food was terrible. Soltani and barg beef were almost uncooked and not tender. RICE was not cooked right. Price was so high for the lousy food. For beef soltani was $38 and for beef barg was $32. Location was bad and worn out area. I do not recommend this place. Do not waste your money. Ate burger fast food and save your money. It was waste of money and time.
