Breezy is relatively new restaurant with really cute decor in downtown San Juan capistrano. The food is an eclectic blend of Filipino mixed with some Hawaiian vibes. We had a local Moco and langanesa with eggs and garlic rice and it was all very tasty there hot coffee and lattes were good as well. We will definitely be going back.

The Ube root from the Philippines gets the well-deserved top-billing on this whimsical, colourful café's menu! "Ube French Toast" with ube-flavoured mocha coffee... Heavenly. Popular place in SJC -- expect a wait during weekend peak hours.

Salmon Eggs Benedict. Very delicious. French toast also yummy. Friend had pancakes and they were so fluffy and delicious! Staff are very friendly. Definitely will come back. Beware of wait times around 30-45 minutes in the morning!

I did not expect to find my new favorite place when I woke up this morning. The food, atmosphere, and staff were all absolutely incredible. What started out as a mission to find an Acai bowl quickly turned into one of the best food experiences I've had in years. At the host's suggestion I went with the Adobo Breakfast Burrito and I was not disappointed. After what I thought was possibly the best thing on the menu, I was quickly proven wrong after I took a bite of the Ube French Toast. I have never had a more delicious french toast in my life, it was absolute perfection. Perfectly sweet, with a really nice crunch that sends it over the top. We also had the Avocado Toast and the Loco Moco and both were delicious. We will most definitely be back, thank you so much for such incredible food and an amazing experience!

This place is a Gem. Small so there will be a wait, but i feel it's great American/Filipino breakfast fusion. The serve Ube waffles and pancakes, pulled chicken and pork adobo, and of course longinisa. They have delicious coffee drinks and surprisingly they also serve Acai bowls. You put your name on the list and when they call you, you must order at the counter and then you're seated. Interesting concept but it worked nicely. Whenever I'm in the san juan Capistrano area and it's brunch. I'm returning to Breezy's

Visiting from out of town, we found Breezy through a suggestion from someone local. Awesome breakfast! Coffee is excellent. It was not busy, they have outdoor seating. Great place to eat right across from the Mission.

Very cute restaurant. You order at a counter and then they will give you a number. We went on a Tuesday morning and it was empty. The food was really good.

Heading down 5 south; found this on line. Beautiful decor ! Pinks and golds. Great service and positive vibes. Delicious! I opted for classic eggs/ bacon / hash brown ; hubby got the ube French toast and raved about it . Comes with toasted coconut, pineapple and other fruit. Coffee so fresh and tasty . No food pics … we ate it all quickly 😃. So glad we stopped here !

This restaurant is a MUST!!! There was a long line to get in, but it was well worth the wait. We ordered the Ube French Toast, Smoked Salmon Benedict, Adobo Breakfast Bowl, Kekoa Bowl, Kali Latte and a Muddled Berry Refresher. Everything was a symphony of flavor with the perfect texture! The whole experience was delightful - the staff was genuinely kind and helpful; the atmosphere is bright, airy and fresh; the food is DIVINE!

Had a wonderful brunch at breezy. The restaurant has a colorful, modern, light and airy atmosphere. The service was friendly and attentive. The food was not only delicious but visually appealing (just check out how the ube pancake looked). Two thumbs up. Definitely would recommend!

I absolutely love Breezy! I’m in town about 2 times a month and this is my go to breakfast restaurant. I’ve been about five times and I leave happier and happier each time. My favorite is the honey basil ribeye bowl- the meat and rice are so flavorful and the egg and arugula tops it off. I would also recommend the breakfast burrito and the longansia bowl. The matcha green tea latte is yummy, and the berry refresher is very flavorful and sweet. The ambiance is very trendy, with an all pink restaurant. The service has been great as well- with staff being very helpful. I would definitely recommend, and I can’t wait for the next time I’m in town.

very nice aesthetic, great location, good food. the experience is excellent with good service that makes you feel welcomed as soon as you walk in. I got the Adobo Chilaquiles, Classic French toast, yuzu peach green tea and the kali latte. All pretty good and really filling. the only thing that bothered me was that the ube whipped cream on the Classic French Toast was lacking in flavor and was more light than what I initially thought it was going to taste like. the same thing can be said for the yuzu peach green tea. it also feels like something is missing from the overall flavor and was not strong enough. as for the Adobo Chilaquiles it is very filling and has a great flavor to it. i also added some tabasco to give it a small kick. as for the kali latte it was very good. one thing i’d say about it is that the coconut flakes block the cap when you try to drink it. overall it was a very good experience and definitely worth checking out again

I’m not familiar with Filipino food, but tried this spot because my sister raved about it and it was incredible. We got the pancake stack, longanisa bowl, acai bowls and tried the chilaquiles. Everything was very flavorful, unique and very delicious. We’ll absolutely be coming back.

Amazing brunch! We've been to a ton of brunch spots in the OC and most places we never return. This spot will be on our regular rotation . Great quality, solid service, and top tier management. Definitely coming back ans ordering the ribeye bowl and the ube pancake.

This place has a staple of my childhood. I’m half Filipino and it was nice to find a place that mixed some of my childhood favorites. The area is conveniently located next to a parking deck and free street parking. Internally, it was very beautiful and the staff was extremely friendly. I would drive here time and time again. If you are stopping by, make sure you come here.

I live in Los Angeles but every time I am even remotely in the area I have to stop by to get Breezy. They have the most phenomenal food, drinks, acai bowls and great service. I usually get the mushroom avocado toast which has a blend of savory flavors that I've never tasted elsewhere and it consistently tastes the same kind of amazing every time. I also really enjoy their coffees, they have a great dirty chai latte, their acai bowls are amazing for when I'm in more of a sweet mood or their ube pancake stack which is just the right amount of sweet and not overpowering sweet like at other places. During peak brunch hours there may be a little bit of a wait but it is 100% worth the wait and the friendly staff will work quickly to get you a table. Thanks!

One of the best places I’ve had in California. Staff is so friendly. Customer service 10/10. Location is very clean. Not only is the food aesthetically pleasing, but is flavorful, filling, and cooked to perfection. Pancake was fluffy, bacon was crispy and not fatty, hash browns were crispy golden brown, and scrambled eggs were fluffy - not runny nor dry. A must try whether you’re nearby or far away!

Came to SJC because my mom wanted to see Mission Basilica. While we waited to go inside the church, we found Breezy which is a cute Hawaiian-Filipino fusion spot near the train tracks. The vibes and aesthetic inside are IMMACULATE. Felt my girly pop era cuz it's just so pretty inside. It's decorated in BABY PINK and greenery inside. Regardless, the food was OUTSTANDING. I am almost mad at the fact that I gotta drive 45min to get here, but I will visit you again!!! My mom got the adobo Burrito. Amazing. The pork was tender. It had enough sourness from the vinegar. I wish it did have more soy sauce flavor but that's just me. The egg, the salsa it came with... They all just worked so well together!! I got the classic Eggs Benedict. This is how I test if a brunch spot is good. When I tell y'all that the hollandaise sauce was the best I've ever had.... Please check it for yourselves. It was flavorful! This isn't your classic hollandaise because they got theirs spiced and because of the Calamansi (Philippine lime), it was complex. The sweetness and sourness balanced the richness of the sauce. I even sauced my burrito 😏 with it and it was even better! They got so many good things in the menu y'all. My mom isn't into sweet breakfast food, but if you like your savory options, Breezy is the one! Also, the tatted owner is part of the breezy experience cuz he fine. Just gonna put that out here.

Friendly staff and delicious food 💕 My first time ever having a fusion of chilaquiles and Filipino pork adobo. Also ordered the ube French toast, which my cousin and I shared. Cousin also ordered an adobo burrito. Great experience! I would love to dine there again this morning, if I didn’t live so far away.

Sheeeesh, where do I start? First it's an order first before seated restaurant of which the staff is very friendly and will assist you from point of entry to assisting you with your seating. The menu is pretty straightforward, simple but if needed, the staff can help explain the flow of operations. The staff was definitely attentive to my lone self for lunch and even suggested I try their unlisted/not on menu new dish; they let me know they had a country fried steak dish if I'd like to try. Sure, why not, let's order it. I was not disappointed and basically it's Tapsilog (beef steak w/ eggs for those who don't know Filipino combo words) but country fried with gravy. Crispy batter with the bite, yolky creaminess that complemented the gravy, and garlic rice that all combined together created GMF (Good mouth feel). If anything, that country fried steak could easily turn into a loco Moco if I asked the staff to just layer them on top each other and drizzle it with the gravy. 👀 Overall, fun and quick lunch spot for me since I work the south county area and always up for Filipino dishes that aren't the typical norm. I'll come back to get the daily set menu since I came in on a whim and was curious to spend my lunch break here. PSA: if you're a tita/tito expecting a traditional Filipino menu, this is not the place. Instead this is an ideal filipino American cafe that is inspired by the traditional dishes. Much like other great eateries like Lola's of Anaheim, Lasita of LA, or Baboys of Carson. Just absorb the new country style, with old country inspiration.

I love this place! The food is a work of art and so delicious!! I am so glad the restaurant expanded! Love the new decor. If you’re ever in San Juan Capistrano, you have to stop by this family owned restaurant! You can’t go wrong with any of the dishes, but my ultimate favorites are: Ube French toast, Adobo Chilaquiles, mushroom avacado toast, honey basil ribeye bowl, and ube matcha latte!! I’m getting hungry just writing this post! Can’t wait to go back! 💚

Outstanding Welcome Right as we walked through the door, Angelo greeted us with a smile and quickly found seating for our party of 12 Filipinos—which is no small task for a busy brunch spot. His customer service was amazing the entire time: attentive, patient, and humble, setting a positive tone for our meal. Service from the Team Once we were seated, Natalie and Anthony took over and did a fantastic job taking care of our table, making sure everyone’s food and drinks came out smoothly. For a party our size, everything came out organized and efficient, and they remained friendly and upbeat throughout the meal. Food Highlights The adobo burrito was fantastic—flavorful, filling, and exactly the kind of Filipino-inspired comfort food that makes Breezy special. The pancakes were flawless: light, fluffy, and cooked just right. Humble Owner After our meal, Angelo took time to come back and chat with us, asking how everything was and connecting with our group on a personal level. Only then did we find out he is actually the owner of Breezy—something you’d never guess from the way he humbly worked the floor like any other server, which earned a lot of respect from our whole table. Overall Everything about this visit—from the warm welcome to the excellent service and delicious food—was perfect for our family gathering. Highly recommend Breezy if you’re looking for great brunch, Filipino-inspired flavors, and truly genuine hospitality in San Juan Capistrano. 5 stars!

Our final meal during our Fall Break trip to Southern California was Breezy in San Juan Capistrano. The food here was delicious and high quality. Parking is $2 per hour which you prepay so I recommend paying for 2 hours. The ambiance was hip and cool. The one downside is that checking in gives you a free drip coffee. The perk is nice but the coffee was forgotten which we asked for 3 times. Finally the manager came out and asked if everything was ok to which we replied that our coffee seems to have been forgotten. He apologized and gave it to us in a to go cup. A kind gesture but I felt that it was a minor hiccup in an otherwise great brunch before heading to the airport. 4.2 stars rounded up make Breezy a bonafide 5 star for me! Thanks guys.

Cute spot for a Filipino brunch in SJC. The wait can be pretty long so plan to put yourself on the Yelp waitlist and wander around town. They’ll send a text when your table is ready. We went on a Saturday morning around 11am and wait 45 minutes. We had the longaniza bowl, adobo bowl, and breakfast plate. The portions were bigger than expected. I only wish the garlic rice had a stronger garlic taste. They have ube pancakes on the menu which we had contemplated getting but then found out it was just ube filling in between regular pancakes. Didn't really expect too much coming here as I thought the restaurant to be more focused on the aesthetics and "Instagrammability" of the plates, but I was pleasantly surprised by our orders! We had the loco moco, adobo, and ube pancake stack. All of them had great flavors but I think I most enjoyed the adobo. Paired nicely with the richer umami dishes we ordered. Be prepared to wait on weekends.

This place has delicious food. My wife, daughter, and I went here before heading to the airport as a great (and positive) way to complete our trip to CA. We parked about a block away (pay for parking, but reasonable) and had to wait for ~40 minutes to get seated. The staff was friendly and helpful, and got us seated after taking our orders. The setting was very casual and you could tell a lot of locals were enjoying their time. When we got our food I knew I would leave stuffed. My pork adobo burrito (which my daughter ordered as well) was certainly big enough I would have been fine with half. My wife went for the Easy Breezy, and couldn’t finish. And top it off we ordered the ube pancake stack, which we barely touched because we were so full. Check this place out.

As we first entered, we were cut in line by a group of 5 who then proceeded to take 17 minutes to figure out what they wanted, ensured every ingredient was up to their standard, and then order, while we we waited patiently to place our order. I feel the staff should have asked this group to step aside since they weren't ready but I won't hold this against anyone other than myself for not speaking up. But with the arrival of the food, i was pleased by the bright colors and high contrast of the dishes. If beautiful presentation is what you're looking for z then look no further than Breezy. Unfortunately, I can't say I was as pleased with the taste. The French toast was literally burnt toast that i doubt any eggs at touched and the Avocado toast was an untoasted raw slab of bread. However, the salmon Benedict was well seasoned and perfected prepared. 1/3 dishes is better than a clean sweep but not what I expected based on what I've heard.

We came here for lunch/brunch and ordered Jax loco moco and Honey Basil ribeye Bowl. The food was good but the star was the honey basil bowl. The loco moco was good but it was the same flavor through and through which is fine. However the Honey Basil bowl had sweet and salty and basil and other flavors in different layers through the bowl, and the meat was just absolutely perfect! The place was crowded but clean and the staff were friendly. It can get loud since the space is a bit cramped so just be aware of that. You’ll also have to find parking on the street and walk (like in almost all the adjacent area).

We ordered the adobo burrito, ube pancake stack and honey basil ribeye. Their servings are generous, it will really fill you up. The ribeye taste good, it was a balance between sweet and savory and it wasn't gummy. It was cooked perfectly. The burrito was also good, it was wrapped nicely it wasn't falling apart and the sauce delicious. I wasn't really impressed with the ube pancake, I couldn't taste the ube enough. It could be better but the portion is good for sharing for sure. We went on a Monday so there's not much of a line. The place is also cute, it was clean and neat.

Such a cute spot! Walk in and you would order. They will seat you and put a number on your table. Food comes out fairly quick! 10-15 min Ube French toast: $16 - price is a bit expensive but I do like Ube so gave it a try. There’s not a lot of Ube.. more banana and coconut flavor than Ube. The milk bread was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. I really enjoyed the bread. Honey Lavender latte: $6.25 - it was okay but I think could use a bit more of the main flavors. Staffs: super friendly and will check up on you to see if you need anything. Parking: it’s walking distance from the restaurant! $2 per hour

My boyfriend and I have been waiting for such a long time for Breezy to reopen as it is one of our favorite spots, so we had to go on their grand opening weekend. We got sat right away, as I think we just missed the brunch rush on Sunday. The location looks great!!! So much seating and it’s just super cute. We sat outside which we enjoyed. We ordered the honey basil ribeye bowl and burrito which my boyfriend loved from last time. His only complaint is that the meat was a bit dry but he did ask for the sauce on the side and when he added it, he loved it!!!! I decided to try the loco moco this time and really loved the flavor. I ordered their banana latte and I was a fan but the ube latte really surprised me and I would order that next time. Overall the flavor and quality is still there (but I think it can use more sauce for their meat plates since it was dry). Happy they are reopened!

Highly recommend the Eggs Benedict. The potato squares had good texture and were seasoned well. The egg wasn't runny but it had good flavor. It's also a very filling dish. We were taken off the wait-list but once we alerted the host we were able to be seated quickly. The Strawberry Breeze Matcha is a good drink if you prefer a matcha that isn't too sweet. There's shade outside if that's where you'll be seated around 12-1pm.

It looks better than it tastes. The staff is amazing, very friendly, but the food is bland. There’s not flavor in the breakfast burrito, its not adobo it’s just pork, and not enough garlic in the rice. The moco loco was better, but the hamburger patty is a bit tough and missing seasoning, again not enough garlic in the rice, but the gray was pretty good.

BREEZY is more famous for their desserts i.e. pancakes with ube, French toasts topped with Bananas, strawberries and a couple of Asian entree i.e. Adobe and langgoniza. There are many diners and restaurant is full but I wish it's a dining place where diners can relax and take time to eat rather than being rushed.

Nice place. Friendly staff. Wanted to enjoy the food. The chilaquiles were good but just way to hot and spicy. Burning my mouth. Couldn't finish the plate. Coffee looks like it sat out for a bit. Was cold.
